Auntie Anne’s Was the Best Part of Traveling Anywhere - Eater

"Auntie Anne’s makes it its business to be in places that you don’t want to be — like the old Terminal B at LaGuardia Airport or the most depressing section of your local malls. Its Wikipedia page describes its 1,500 locations as thriving in “non-traditional retail spaces.” The brand is a major presence in shopping malls, but also in train stations, airports, rest stops, and Walmarts. These are places that exist out of necessity, not joy; the whole point of a rest stop is to not stay for long, and no one goes to a train station just to chill. But Auntie Anne’s is almost decadent enough to make you want to head to LaGuardia or Penn Station solely for the pretzel." - Jaya Saxena

Yelp
The good is that we got our snacks quickly. The bad was that the person at the counter was a little rude. When we tried to order something he said it wasn't in stock. Then when we asked for something else he goes hey man just look in the food window that's what we have. Like how we're we suppose to know that? I understand people have bad days so I didn't say anything. We got our little snacks and left. There's no seats nearby, so don't think you're gonna sit down and enjoy your little snack.

Yelp
Honestly, it wasn't fresh but it has a lot of potentials. Got eh cinnamon sugar pretzel bites and it was pretty good. Just bread, sugar, and cinnamon in my opinion though.

Yelp
Damn , 3 years ago, the pepperoni nugget was $6.20. In 2024, it is now $8.99 for same size regular. That a $1 increase every year. Wild inflation since it's just bread, pepperoni, and no sauce given. Won't be coming back unless a coupon or freebie through the app. Too expensive for bread

Yelp
I love Auntie Anne since their pretzels and smoothies are always solid but what ruined my experience today was the people working there. I asked for a sweet pretzel and the cashier gave me a nasty attitude and said which one. I have only ever order the sugar pretzel so I was unaware that there was more than one sweet pretzel. I tried their almond pretzel which was delicious. I also ordered the strawberry banana smoothie which was also delicious and refreshing. I asked her if I could scan my app for rewards and she answered rudely once again pay first. I don't appreciate people being rude to me if I'm polite from the beginning of the interaction. This location needs to get staff that are more polite to the public and can demonstrate a bit of professionalism.

Yelp
Actually one is better Auntie Anne experiences that I've had in recent years, the cinnamon sugar pretzel bits were nice and soft and delicious and buttery, most of the time I come and they are cooked way too hard. You probably also help that these are fresh out of the oven but they didn't harden up even after waiting until after lunch to eat them.

Yelp
Was looking forward to getting a free pretzel to celebrate Rewards members. Product ran out.

Yelp
I'd give this place 0 stars if I could. The mango lemonade melt that I got was so disgustingly sweet. It was mostly cuz of the mango syrup I guess. The frozen lemonade itself was too sweet as well. On top of that, they only serve it in the large size which was like $5+. The sweet tea ($2.50) just wasn't good. What a waste of $. I honestly want my $ back.

Yelp
So this Auntie Annie's' located at SkyView Mall. Today I bought the dragonfruit mango lemonade mixer in large size for $8. The size was not a large, it was a medium since I bought a large blue raspberry lemonade mixer before and the large size is a big-ass cup. The drink was actually refreshing and delicious. I'll probably only buy there once and that's it. Too overpriced for drinks

Yelp
Love that there's an Auntie Annie's in New World Mall. Pretzel stands are a necessity for every mall. The sweet cinnamon sugar aroma fills up the walkway and draws patrons in. There are benches near it to sit at after buying food or drinks. The downside is that there is little to no cell service inside of the mall no matter what floor you're on. The cashier was very friendly because I switched from the cup of pretzels to a real twisted pretzel. It saved me a dollar, but it wasn't as fresh as the garlic parmesan pretzel we got. The cashier asked me if I wanted to get a third pretzel to get a free lemonade . Very tempting. She also asked me if I wanted a salted pretzel or not. Communication is key! Excellent experience here. Hope it will stay open.

Yelp
Whenever I walk by and they smell the amazing pretzels I know it's only a matter of time before I get here and get myself a fresh one. They are just too good. And the line of people waiting for fresh wants to come out of the oven is just another prove of how good the pretzels are. Sometimes they can be a little too sweet, especially if you choose the almonds ones. Yellow lemonade for balance in the suite and you all set.

Yelp
So tasty!! I didn't mind that the cinnamon sugar pretzel nuggets that we got didn't really taste like pretzels (tasted more like fried pieces of dough). They were still so delicious!! The stand is located on the 2nd floor of Skyview Mall right outside of the newly opened Daiso (which you should check out btw). The next time I come back I'm getting a big pretzel all for myself and NOT sharing.

Yelp
I have a confession to make. I love Auntie Anne's. I've loved Auntie Anne's since I was a kid. Somehow I used to like the sour cream and onion ones. In college, I became more of a cinnamon sugar guy. And now as my palate matures, I'm exclusively an almond pretzel sort of person. This location is pretty good. They're almost constantly making more pretzels and nothing sits around too long. It's inside the Sky View Mall in a very diverse area. Apparently it doesn't matter what nationality you are, everyone loves Auntie Anne's. There's just something about that smell of freshly baked pretzels and butter that wafts throughout the mall that just draws you to the stand. Somehow Auntie Anne's has been around for so long without their price increasing all that much or their quality dropping at all. Last time I was here, they had a sign up that said: "Our new return guarantee: buy one of our pretzels and we guarantee you'll return". Ha! I don't trust malls that don't have an Auntie Anne's. And it has to be Auntie Anne's. Wetzel's is just a poor imitation that isn't nearly as good.

Yelp
Why is Auntie Anne's so good though? Every time I'm at an airport or a mall, and I smell that distinct bread and buttah smell, I know it's muh gurl Anne. Gimme that cinnamon, sweet almond, even just plain salted pretzel. Those mini ones too.

Yelp
The worst services ever. They told me my order will be ready in 10 mins but ended up waited for almost 20 mins. When I checked on my order status, they told me, "I have only two hands". I will never return.

Yelp
I wanted to make a purchase of a single plain pretzel at the Rosevelt Field Mall 2nd floor in Garden City NY The associate wanted to charge me $8 up from just under $5 less than a month ago is this price accurate Thanks walterzuck@yahoo.com

Yelp
Needs improvement and definitely can tell they are still under training. Sometimes I'll get the super friendly staff, other times... They're just plain rude. The pretzels are tiny compared to other Auntie Anne's and very dense. Shouldn't it be fluffy? On a good note, there's always a "Manager's Special" and easy to obtain rewards of a free pretzel. Highly recommend the pepperoni bites! Overall, I'm addicted to pretzels and will return often just because its inside the mall I work in but I do hope they get better with controlling lines and the product itself.

Yelp
Thanks to the tall worker with the tattoo who took care of our order when it was very busy Saturday 11/3 3:30pm. Stellar customer service

Yelp
A total waste of my five dollars. Ordered a sweet almond cup. Took a first bite. Jesus, it's so dry that I couldn't bite it off. It's not stable but very dry. It tasted like they didnt put enough butter or milk to make it chewy. It didn't even have that shinny galze on. The flavor is bad too. It didn't get that greasy buttery taste like other Auntie Annie's pretzels do. Stupid cup was 1/4 empty. So obvious that the owner tried to save cost by adding less ingredients. No good. Threw it away after the first bite.

Yelp
There's nothing like an Auntie Anne's opening up to make Skyview Mall officially a "mall"!! I'm so happy it's opened it! It's located right in front of in between the Old Navy and Uniqlo. The pretzels are soooo good...definitely hits home. You can even see them making the different pretzels in the window while you wait on line. The lemonade is also super delicious, perfect mix of sweet and sour. The only downside is that you can only buy whatever they have available in the heated case next to the register. There was only one time I wanted to buy the mini pretzel dog cup but they were available so I had to get the normal sized ones instead.

Yelp
This is probably one of the worst Auntie Anne's I have ever visited. The lady taking my order was just so disrespectful. She did not greet me and throughout the transaction she had a nasty attitude and when I gave her my money to pay, she snatched it out of my hand. Not once did she look me in the face while taking my order. She couldn't even put napkins inside the bag. At the end, I said thank you and she stood quiet, again not looking at me ONCE. She was also to busy talking to her coworkers, not paying attention to her customers.
