Auntie Anne’s Pretzel Clothing Line Is for the Stylish Food Obsessive | Eater

"Launching a 'For the Love of Pretzels' apparel and accessories line, the mall-focused pretzel chain is selling artist-designed swag that includes T-shirts and sweatshirts (notably yoga pugs twisted into a classic pretzel shape), themed phone cases, and home goods like blankets, throw pillows, and shower curtains. The collection also features pretzel-pattern shoes from Bucketfeet printed with the A Twisted Day design by graphic designer Daniel Allen Stevens, while bright pink pretzel fanny packs will be distributed only via social media giveaways. All profits from the collection are being donated to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation to support families affected by childhood cancer." - Brenna Houck

April Fools’ Day 2018: The Best (and Worst) Pranks by Food Brands | Eater

"A salty-snack chain humorously 'introduced' a line of essential oils called the House of Aline with scents like 'freshly baked,' 'salty,' and 'cinnamon twist,' cheekily claiming benefits such as an improved palate, bliss, relaxation, and even increased spousal attraction; the oils were not real." - Chris Fuhrmeister

Google
My wife was really craving Cinnabon bites, and while we were driving, we found this Auntie Anne’s location listed online. We went out of our way to get there—it’s located inside the mall, so we had to search a bit. We arrived at 8:20 p.m., well before the listed closing time of 9:00 p.m., but to our disappointment, the staff refused to serve us. There was a person at the counter who told us they were closing and wouldn’t be taking any more orders. I mentioned that the app clearly showed they close at 9, and we had come specifically for this, but he simply said, “We can’t help, we’re closed.” It was frustrating and disappointing, especially after making the effort to get there. If the closing time is earlier than listed, it should be updated online to avoid misleading customers.

Google
I got the regular pretzel and it was the WORST pretzel I’ve ever had!!!! Half the pretzel was an inch in diameter like they normally are, but the other half was THIN and BURNT. It was crunchy and I couldn’t even finish it!!!!!! Horrible experience food wise. The cashier was nice .

Google
Pretzels delicious as always. Waited the few minutes for the fresh pepperoni pretzel bites to get finished and was definitely worth the wait.

Based on my experience, the food was decent. It was semi-warm. Seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. Customer service was not that good. Wouldn't recommend as a first option. Decent if you're looking for a drink and/or quick snack.

Google
Every time I come here they never have the doordash orders ready. I came in today for some cinnamon pretzels and some dip which will probably take about 2 minutes to put together and they told me I was going to have to wait 10 or 15 minutes for the order just because that's what the pickup time said on their side if I was already there they should have just made the order and got it out of the way I'm tired of this place!!!!

I ate here yesterday and have been severely sick every since! And this isn't the first time! Poor sanitation and mis handling of the food is definitely to blame! Me and another employee shared said cup of pretzels and both got sick. Nobody is allergic to your food. Your employees are poorly handling the food. Touching money in the register with food gloves on and then going right back to touching the food with the same gloves on! If you'd like proof by all means I'll get video and photos of your employees next time I'm at work in the mall!

Love these pretzels! One time we got a large to share and they were so hard we couldn't eat them so I took them back and they swore they were fresh but replaced them, I wouldn't say they weren't if they were! But they gave us another batch that was fresh and we could definitely tell a difference. They have the most Delicious mini cinnamon pretzels too.

This place hurts my throat and makes me get a sore throat within 30 minutes and I don’t have an food allergy and it gets really annoying when it smells good but hurts my throat.

Yelp
Nice Auntie Anne's (I always think it's called Auntie Annie's due to the Auntie) located in the Penn Square Mall featuring a wide selection of pretzels, great service and cool ambiance within the mall. Recommended!

Yelp
One of my favorite places when I am craving a treat! I love their original salted, buttered pretzels with cheese.

Yelp
Who does not like Auntie Anne's pretzels? My favorite Auntie Anne's location is in the Penn Square mall. I do not go a lot but when I do I make a special trip here. The employees are recognizable and have an excellent memory. On more than one occasion I have been greeted by name before ordering.

Yelp
I love Auntie Anne's! I love their gourmet pretzels, their pretzel dogs, lemonades, and I especially love their cinnamon pretzels! It's a treat when I visit the mall to stop by and get a pretzel. Don't forget to add a lemonade to your order and download the app to get awesome perks, coupons, and redeem your free pretzel.

Yelp
This sucked. I asked for a small pretzel bites, and he asked 4 times to upgrade to a large. Then I asked for mustard and condescending said "don't worry, the mustard is free btw" then said do you want your change. I said yes. He said, it's only thirty cents, you really need 30 cents. Very upset. Will not be going here again. Not good at all.

Yelp
I've been a huge fan of Auntie Ann's since I was a kid. A trip to the mall meant I also got to enjoy one of my favorite treats! As an adult working at the mall it's become more of an addiction. They have great specials for mall employees that ensure I visit at least once a week! I will sometimes just come grab a fountain drink, other times I'm grabbing pretzels and drinks for my entire staff and Auntie Ann's employees are always incredibly helpful. I'm a huge fan of the sweet almond pretzel, but I'll grab a pepperoni one and have it as a meal if I'm hungry enough. Download their phone app and scan it each time you visit for points toward a free pretzel. The app also sends random rewards in addition to the ones you earn from points. Next time you're at Penn and need a quick treat, stop by Auntie Ann's and you won't regret it!

Yelp
I love this location! The workers are friendly and they have fresh tasting pretzels. I went to a different location recently and it was a bad choice on my part. Anyways, I am addicted to their jalapeño pretzel with hot salsa cheese. So, good, so filling, and very fattening too probably and not good for me. I try to limit myself from coming here, and only eat at Auntie Anne's about four times a year. One complaint is.. many years the jalapeño pretzel had larger slices of jalapeño on the pretzel and was actually spicy. It seems now that they cut the jalapeño into small pieces and it's sparsely sprinkled onto the pretzels. They aren't spicy anymore that even my one-year old can eat it as well. Anyways, wish they would go back to putting more jalapeños on the jalapeño pretzel again, but I love spicy foods. However, I'm not taking a star off for that since, they have offered me a side of jalapeños so, it's not too big of a deal.

Yelp
The pretzels here are so good, but my favorite has to be the cinnamon sugar! Some days you just need a warm, soft pretzel and it's those days that Aunty Anne's is the real MVP.

Teresa R.

Yelp
Asked to order 6 cinnamon sugar pretzels. Response from worker, "um, yeah we'd have to make those.". Our response was, okay we still would like them. Response ," how about the mini pretzels in a cup. ". We would have waited if given the option, but I think she just didn't want to do it. For around 2pm in the afternoon, that is not a great business practice.
