Aunty Cavell's Restaurant

Recommended by the locals we decided to try this spot. Customer service was great. We were seated immediately and our server was very polite. They gave us small fans to control the flies which I loved but those flies are like ninjas. Drinks: We ordered the famous rum punch and it doesn't have that name for no reason. It was very good and the nutmeg gave it a real kick. Food: **Curried Goat 7/10 ** Oxtail 8/10 Pricing was just right. I even ordered a piece of rum cake to go which I enjoyed. Ordered a Soursop juice as well. Very tasty. I observed other food options such as a whole fish, lobster and more. We had no complains and we even got the chance to see Aunty Cavell she was so sweet. If you're looking to just chill out, listen to music and look at the beach across the street this would be a nice chill spot.

Many thanks, Mr. Michael and his team, for making us feel so welcome at this incredible restaurant. The ambiance is simply breathtaking. Every dish we ordered was simply divine. The salt, fish, and oxtail were absolutely delectable. Don’t miss out on the ginger beer. It’s homemade ginger beer, and it’s incredibly refreshing and invigorating. The hospitality here is truly exceptional, and that’s why I’ll definitely be returning. The food is simply delicious.

Came here with my wife while staying at Cocobay and the food was the best food I ever had. Oxtail, stew chicken wings, and curry goat was out of this world. Mac & cheese side, potato salad, and the veggies were great. Great staff and great people and highly recommend. Make sure you wear bug spray before you come here. That was my only complain. The bugs are out

Rum punch was excellent 👌 We had pork pepperpot which had a lot of bones and fat, it was ok. My curry conch was excellent. The fungi was very bland, it's my first time eating it, so not sure if it's supposed to be like that. Overall very good experience. It's situated across from the Darkwood beach

This restaurant was amazing! We had delicious fish of the day and chicken pepper pot stew. Their rum punch was truly the best we had on our trip. The staff were so friendly and the prices were very reasonable. It’s also across the road from a very nice beach. I would definitely recommend this place.

We came here on advice from our hotel host. So glad we made it here. The rum punch is the best on the island. We got the ribs and baked chicken wings. We both got red beans and rice and macaroni pie. Our food was excellent! Service is fantastic! Highly recommend!

This was the best curried goat I've ever had. We sat down on a beautiful porch and ordered ice cold beers. The service was incredible and very helpful with ordering the sides. We ordered curried goat and oxtail with sides of red bean rice, fungi (absolutely amazing and must try), steamed vegetables, and the amazing root veggies with the hot sauce they provide is crazy good. Everything tasted so delicious and full of flavor. The famous rum punch is also necessary and goes very well with everything! They have a different special every day and we are planning to head back there as much as we can for lunch! Cheers to Aunty Cavell!

This place is amazing, for the kindness of the people, the food and the nice area. We went twice with our family who already knew this local restaurant. Each time we took the oxtail because it is so delicious. Second time we also had the homemade cake with rum and walnuts, absolutely delicious. We were thrilled to meet aunty, the owner and his mom. Moreover the service is welcoming and friendly. I also came twice only to have the opportunity to take pictures of the hummingbirds in the tree just in front and the ladies were very kind to have me just watching at the birds. Thank you so much for your kindness. We will come back for sure.
