Before we left the Food Centre, wifey felt like eating Oats Pancake (麦煎粿) from Aunty Oats Pancake Stall.
Those in the short queue were apparently regular customers, who seemed “like friends” to the elderly stall holder.
We bought the peanut filling pancakes @ $1.20 each. There were 8 others with interesting fillings - red bean, coconut, chocolate, cheese, lotus paste, pandan, salted bean and coffee.
When we reached home, the peanut pancake seemed a little damp, possibly because they were packed in plastic bag. Nevertheless, it was tasty although one (out of 4 pieces) was a little hollow inside; less crushed peanuts, had to be wifey’s piece🤣.
