"Young chef Rémi Genot has come back to his roots in this famous wine-growing village, after a glittering career in the region. He pays homage to local producers and showcases the fine cuts of meat prepared by his father in the neighbouring butchery. As comfortable working with vegetables as with fish and meat, he creates meticulous dishes that are replete with colour and character. He is also skilled at juxtaposing different textures, in dishes such as white asparagus tartlet with mandarin and taggiasca olives; Quercy lamb cooked three ways, black garlic jus and a medley of carrots. I had the pleasure of dining at this delightful spot. The young couple who recently took over have poured their hearts into every detail. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, but it’s the food that truly shines—creative, beautifully presented, and bursting with fresh, bold flavors. You can taste the passion in every bite. A fantastic addition to the local dining scene—highly recommended. An unmatched value for money and of course on incredible wine list.

We celebrated my birthday wonderfully at this glorious restaurant. Everything was terrific. It’s a small, personalized and celebrated restaurant in the small village of Pommard. As a wine lover, I could have spent an hour drooling over the most extensive wine. Our hostess/sommelier/server, Anna, was remarkably friendly, professional and had an in-depth knowledge and insight into the encyclopaedic list. The many courses were beautifully presented, inventive and profoundly delicious. Not only was this clearly a three Michelin star experience, it was also a friendly and fun experience. We intend on returning when we’re next in France.

We chose the 5 course degustation and in addition to the amuse bouche and every course was an explosion of flavour and creativity combing with textures and technically perfect. A delightful space overlooking a quiet neighbourhood with the two owners working together seamlessly. The chef allowed one veal substitution on the menu and it was perfect! A wonderful dinner in Pommard.

It has been long time I haven't felt like WOW to a restaurant and this place is IT! I discovered new flavors, combinations and dishes never tried before. Everything was delicious and carefully done. Service is over the top, dining room is beautiful and also very easy to park nearby. Their wine selection is also great, don't hesitate to ask for tips and you will be impressed that they find the exact wine you want to drink. Their products are incredible. Highly recommended but make sure to book in advance.

Marvellous! We are still wondering why this exceptional cuisine has not (yet) been awarded any Michelin stars. Well then, for the time being, we'll give it three times 5 stars from our side: once for the friendly commitment of the team. Once for the great ideas for our culinary journey through the chef's world of flavours. And, last but not least: once for the perfect realisation on our plates. Great!

We have been to 4 Michelin star restaurants on our trip so far and this place has been our favorite dining experience so far. The wine and food pairings have been the best. They deserve a star. Not sure why they don't have a star, they definitely deserve one. It's difficult to find a restaurant that gets the wine and food right on every turn.

Really lovely dinner - the food was brilliant, the wine wonderful and the service was first class and very friendly. We weren't going to have cheese but the cheese trolley was so amazing we couldn't say no! I can see why it's so popular - make sure you book!

Anyone traveling to Burgundy must visit Aupres du Clocher. I have nothing but respect for Chef Moutet and his staff. The prices were very reasonable; and, the service was impeccable even by French standards. Most importantly, the food was, in a word, exquisite. If I had one suggestion, it would be that they allow customers to make reservations through their website.
