I gave this hotel a high rating because some of the rooms are fabulous with brick walls and wood beams in the ceiling and fantastic views of the surrounding area. This is a renovated convent. Ask for a room on the first floor like 301 or one that has what I described. My sister had this room and it was great. I unfortunately did not get that type of room, even though we paid the same rate. Mine was an ordinary, spacious hotel room with a limited view and a weird bathroom layout. The mattress was comfortable, and they had a good buffet breakfast. Reasonably close to go to the main square, but it's about a half mile walk from the aquaducts.

Absolutely LOVED this hotel for so many reasons. Excellent location with a few minutes walk to everything. Beautiful and charming, adapted from historic structure. We were in a deluxe room (401) with an outstanding view of the countryside, and bonus view of hot air balloons early in the morning. Room was quiet, great air con, huge and fabulous shower, comfy bed and wonderful linens, spacious, good lighting and seating. Staff very friendly and helpful with great English. We did not have breakfast so no comment on that.

We live in Portugal and I booked a short trip to Spain to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary. I mentioned in the booking that we were celebrating and there was a note & a box of chocolates in our room. The hotel is a converted convent and while it is very modern they left beautiful details showing. The room was very spacious and the bed was good, not the most comfortable but good. Plaza Mayor and the Cathedral are a five minute walk away! Pay attention to their directions for getting to the parking garage (€15/per day) as there are some VERY narrow ‘streets’ in Segovia. Wonderful hotel in a truly gorgeous city!!!

What a wonderful hotel. Service outstanding, location perfect just a walk in distance to attractions. We were upgraded and given a room on the top floor, with a huge balcony overlooking the river, monastery and a huge valley full of beautiful houses, buildings and churches. This hotel exceeded our expectations. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT

Beautiful Hotel in Segovia, in an old 16th century convent building, a very special and original, unconventional experience. Room was spacious with a beautiful wooden ceiling and great comfortable bed. View onto the valley below was beautiful too. Staff was very nice and kind. Good breakfast too. A minor flaw: walls Inside the hotel are obviously not as thick as the ancient outside walls. We were a bit unlucky with some neighbours very loudly speaking and laughing until the early morning hours, next to our own room. Of course the Hotel can’t be made responsible for their guest’s lack of social manners and respect to other people‘s night‘s rest, but it was clear that insulation wasn’t as good as we expected.

A really beautifully restored building with an interesting combination of fine stonework and modern furnishings. The views over the valley are lovely and the Plaza Mayor next to the cathedral is a 5 minute walk away. Very comfortable rooms and spotlessly clean. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast choices were good - but the breakfast room is small (especially for a party of 4) so perhaps plan an early arrival. There is reserved parking for the hotel in Catedral Parking with connectivity to the hotel itself. The hotel helpfully emailed directions to the parking beforehand so ensuring we missed the labyrinth of small streets! Would definitely stay here again.

This was the second time we stayed at the hotel.four years ago we stayed to drop off our daughter for university and price to service ratio in late August was fine. It is an exquisite building with along history beautifully restored and well pointed rooms. At the time breakfast was included; mediocre, but okay. This time we stayed to attend the graduation. The hotel had jacked up prices from their standard EUR 125 or so room rate to an unbelievable EUR 400/ night. Because of the lovely memories and the great location we bit the bullet and booked anyway. Well, it is 100% not worth that amount of money. No early check in possible. No late check out possible,.breakfast not included - cost EUR 30/ person extra.Spa access and pool use not include costs EUR 30/ person extra.Parking not included, costs EUR 15 extra. Reception staff was not overly friendly. I specifically ask them not to tell my family that breakfast was not included as they balked the the price already offering to pay for breakfast for all. Well the first thing they did is tell them breakfast was not included in the room rate. Their response was: but they specifically asked. This is not 5 star standard, I am sorry. In a five star hotel wishes as expressed by me would be honored. I stay in hotels a lot, never did I have to pay extra for use of the spa or pool, even if, as is common, this is operated by a third party vendor. And typically breakfast is included in the room rate, especially in Europe.

Our room opened onto a shared terrace where we could watch the sunrise in the morning—absolutely beautiful! The room itself was clean and tidy, though the bathroom was almost awkwardly large—not sure if that’s a pro or con. The building itself is exceptionally beautiful, and the staff were incredibly welcoming.
