I have been here a few times just to pick up. But today 7/16/25 as I was walking in. Only an older sever greeted me & helped me. The is why the 2 stars. The other staff looked at me as if I was there bothering them, or a criminal. I'm a customer. I go get the pizza and waited there for a while, the staff were talking on the back! Ok no problem. I payed for the pizza and asked for packages of cheese to put on the pizza and she says "sorry no more we ran out. Ok I thanked her and left. I get home just to be disappointed" with the pizza. It was burned had a weird salty taste. We just ate half of slice and all went to the trash. I won't be going back. And the thing was they were not even busy!! It was empty in there. I think everyone needs more training and sympathy. Thanks.

The mix of yellow cheese adds oil to the top, and its a lot of cheese. Not our jam. Toppings are under the cheese. Big place lots of room, no body there. Garlic bread was very good and so was the salad. House dressing very good.

We love Aurelio's generally but tonight 6/30. We did not have a pleasant experience . We were sat immediately but the server We had was rude and wishing she was somewhere else . We ordered are drinks and we were told that they did not have some of are drinks we ordered. It was fine we ordered different ones. We ordered 2 appetizers both came out cold and clearly came from the freezer. We waited over 30 min for are appetizers and salad, then we were informed that they didn't have Romaine l Lettuce. The server finally came over and said that the appetizers and pizza will be out in 5 min and asked if it was ok if it came together . By that time I said fine. Pizza didn't taste like it usually does, the pizza crust tasted off and so did the cheese and the pizza had little to no sausage. When the food finally came the server gave us 3 napkins. Overall I am disappointed in the visit tonight

The pizza is good but other items can be hit or miss. I feel the quality and consistency was much better a few years ago. Also when you receive your carryout order like I did yesterday, it becomes your last order.

Love this restaurant! Only wish it wasn't so far away. I've been eating Aurelio's since I was a kid. Their pizza is amazing, if you haven't had it, do yourself a favor, you'll be glad you did!

Stopped in with family on a Friday night . We had out of town guests and since Aurelias has been around since the 59s,why not treat them to traditional Chicago style pizza. We were seated immediately. The server literally gave us no time to get situated before he was taking our drink order. I hate when a server does this. I ordered a bottled beer with a glass. The beer came but took 15 minutes to get a glass as he kept forgetting to bring it after asking 3x. Started with the Combo Appetizer Platter which was a Choose 3 items for 17.25. We chose onion rings,chicken tenders and Cheese sticks since the kids were going to eat most of the items anyway. Food portions were extremely small and overcooked. Not a fan! Overpriced. Also ordered a large half sausage/pepperoni pizza and a gluten free pizza. The pizza had little flavor and was over cooked. The ends of the crust would have broken a tooth! My wife ordered the gluten free pizza which was 4 square slices covered with cheese. Basically cheese bread. Again not worth it. The server never came by and asked how everything was or if we needed more napkins. When I paid the bill I asked for a paper receipt and he basically disappeared. With so many pizza places to choose from,I don't think I will be back to this location.

I'm surprised to see any negative reviews of Aurelio's. I dine in here one to two times per month. My book club has been meeting here for years and we always get pizza and appetizers. I have found that sometimes they get a little slow because they get so busy, but the servers here are really, really great and the bartenders are super personable and attentive. Great customer service! Aurelio's pizza is a little bit unique, the sauce is on the sweeter side and just amazing. They cook the crust so it's very crunchy, probably with some cornmeal. Yes, the cheese on top is partially yellow, but not in a weird way. Overall a delicious pizza! Additionally, we enjoy all of the traditional pizzeria appetizers and the pasta dishes are good as well. The salad is classic pizzeria salad, you know what I mean! Gluten-free crust is available available and my mom claims it's good. When I go with my husband, we sit at the bar and it's always a fun time. Their beers are icy cold!

Ordered from here a bunch but first time for an eat in - we sat in the bar - it was a Saturday night and was fairly open...not for long! Seems as though many of the parents of kids sports events come here after. We had excellent service and the antipasto salad with a small pep, mushroom, black olive and onion pizza - YUM!! So good and I really love the atmosphere here - we will be back very soon!!

The ambience is nice- old school pizzeria and nice outdoor patio. It is kid friendly- Food is awful- rusty salads and boring, standard pizza crust like a frozen cardboard, canned (not fresh) mushrooms, appetizers still frozen in middle- also ordered a trio app and there were only THREE of one of the items (18.25$) waitress indifferent to the frozen items- just said okay, I will tell them to cook some more. Don't waste your money here.

Way too loud. Server got everything wrong at our table numerous times. Thats if he ever could even be found. Their Chix Parm sandwich is an embarrassment! One tiny breast on a soft burger bun. Really??? Sauce on pizza is good, but that's about it!

Attended a wedding rehearsal dinner this past weekend. Really missed good Chicago thin crust pizza and Aurelio's delivered that day. The staff was constantly checking to make sure we had enough food, drinks, plates, napkins, etc. Great job guys

A favorite place to go in the summer/fall. Our order is a fiesta or two thin crust with sausage. We love the outdoor patio it's very cozy and has a pleasant vibe. Drink prices are typically reasonable. And the service is always excellent for either dine in or pick up. One of our go-to's for thin crust pizza.

This local pizza spot is better when the weather is warm and you can sit outside on the patio. Pizza has a sweet sauce and too much cheese. The service is a bit lacking while prices keep going higher. Kids enjoyed it but there are better local pizza restaurants out there for the money.

Born and raised on Aurelio's, it's great to have some wonderful locations like this one close to home. I love the fun events, great staff, and of course exceptional food at this location. This location just brings the fun and it keeps me coming back!

asked for a glass of water after ordering food and beers. when I got the check I saw they charged me $3.25 for a glass of water! Ridiculous. I won't be going back.

Aurelio's continues to provide amazing food and atmosphere time and time again. We went with our family on the Christmas walk night. They were slammed! But they were more than accommodating, giving my daughters cups of their favorite, maraschino cherries! Once we were seated, our server was quick and attentive. We will continue to give this amazing restaurant our business and enjoy the fabulous pizza.

This place is legendary. The classic thin crust is so fresh and THAT SAUCE!! Every time we visit the staff is so welcoming, and the owner may just come by and say hi. One of the top picks in the Fox Valley..

We love Aurelllo's pizza. But are we the only ones that think this location is cheap on the red sauce ? It never changes . We order a side of red sauce but that doesn't taste the same. Their slogan is "it's the sauce." I think they need to put more sauce !

Wife and I went there on Friday night. Noisy! The kitchen screwed up the toppings on both of our pizzas. Service was fine. Really liked the antipasto salad so wife, daughter and I want back Saturday afternoon. One (1) other table populated. Ordered Bruschetta. Sorry, no Bruschetta (on Saturday!). Wanted ketchup for my mushrooms. Sorry, no ketchup! Brought daughter wrong salad (remember - basically no other customers). Brought daughter salad with undercooked bacon crumbles. Waitress waiting until she had more than one thing to bring before she brought extra dressing etc. No other customers! This place needs work.

Tried to order online but had to have a login. There is no need for me to have an account to order a pizza. Tried to call but hung up on and then didn't answer. Forget it I'll order from somewhere else.

We have heard a lot about Aurelios from friends and was never able to try them out since we don't live nearby. We had the opportunity to place an order to go in order to support local businesses and I have to say the ordering and all was flawless! Since we are a ways a way we order two frozen / uncooked pizzas. One cheese and one garlic and spinach. When we receive them they were in nicely wrapped it had very clear instructions on the packaging and everything from temperature to how to cook the pizza. My god the garlic smelled amazing when cooking them.... and came out amazing coming out of the oven. I was not to sure what to expect to be honest but between the staff being super helpful and the ease of cooking them ... the most import part was the taste test. Mama Mia! These pizzas where excellent. I have to say the spinach garlic took 1st place for me. I replay appreciated the quality ingredients and the crust was perfect. Though not nearby ... we are are coming back for more. Extremely good. I can thank the aurelios team for going the extra miles .... the made these to order and nailed it! Highly recommended!

We had a retirement gathering middle of the work week, mid-afternoon for 25-30 people. We asked for a variety of pizza's soft drinks and water. If Individuals wanted something else to eat or drink they paid themselves. The waitstaff person we had did an excellent job. Kept the drinks flowing and the tables cleaned as needed. We set the event up with Tyler, he and the staff delivered what we asked for. I wish I knew the waitstaff person she had super customer service. If you need a spot for a gathering give Aurelio's in Geneva a try. Plus the cost was very reasonable.

Ordered this medium thick crust pizza tonight and it came like this (middle pieces were the only ones that had a BIT more cheese). No offense but did I have to order more cheese for it? Also, picked it up right in the 30 min time frame and the cheese was hard. Not confident this was a newly cooked pizza. I don't recommend and it's not seasoned at all They did refund us at least!

Excellent service--Charlie was great! Bruschetta was very good, pizza was as I expect from Aurelio's having grown up on the OG in Homewood--super pleasant experience!

We get tomato, garlic, and spinach pizza. It is delicious, we come here often. Service and food very good.

Came here for dinner in the evening and got an outdoor seat. The seating in the back is very cozy and live music was nice and the pizzas we got were fantastic. Plenty of leftovers to bring home. There was a wait but they use the Yelp queue function so you can check your phone to see what place in line you are and how long is left to wait while you walk around the beautiful downtown area. Very convenient for when you come at a busy time.

Great Chicago style thick crust pizza. Great service from waiters and waitresses. The ambience is very good.

The wait staff is extremely friendly and attentive. First off my husband growing up loved this place from his childhood memories of it, so we went for the nostalgia of his boyhood. The sauce is a much sweeter sauce than normal pizza sauce(if you love that kind of sauce this place is for you). To me however it tasted like a can of spaghetti-o's lacking the pasta was dumped on top of a pizza crust. I would never get a pizza from there again as sweet and flavorless isn't my cup of tea, but would give the pasta a try.

Ordered pizza for delivery tonight. Worst pizza I have ever had!! Was burnt and the yellow cheese on top was so bad!! Who uses yellow cheese on their pizza?? Never again!! Plus waited and hour and a half for delivery.!

I'm a member of a local fraternity in the area. For events they usually order pizza from this location, sometimes we dine in. I can honestly say to you as a lifelong pizza guru, having tried them from all over the city and the nation. This is by far the worst pizza location I've ever had in my entire life. From stuffed, deep dish, to thin. Sure I've tried them all because I was hungry and it was all that was offered to us at our events. Every time though, this place is consistently garbage. That's the only good thing about them. Dough is soggy, sauce lacks flavor, they use cheap cheese, and even yellow cheese In their pizza. I'm more of a La villa, Giordano, malnati, sometimes Rosati, sometimes Nancy guy. Hell I'll take a frozen pizza over this place any day. Also the service isn't very good at the dine in.

Up until tonight, Aurelios has always been my go-to for pizza, but something has changed. Yes, it's on the pricey side for pizza ($36.00 plus tip) for a large, one topping pizza, but I was always willing to pay it because I enjoyed the pizza. Tonight will be the last night I order from there. To me, the sauce has always been the highlight of that pizza, a little sweet, but so very good. When we received our pizza tonight it was just plain bland. Either they skimped on the sauce or changed the recipe completely. We could barely taste it. Not to mention, the topping itself was sparse. The whole pizza just tasted like cheese on a crust. I don't mind paying these exorbitant prices for an occasional pizza if it's good, but when they sell this crap on a cracker for the same price they always have, I'm done. Sorry Aurelios, but you've lost a loyal customer. Trying to cut corners by cutting down on ingredients, yet charging the same price, is beyond the pale. Buh bye now.

I always enjoyed Aurelio's, however hadn't been there in a while, and after last night's experience I won't be back. Cons: - The Calamari was obviously cheap, bagged frozen product. It was rubbery and pieces were way overcooked and grey. - The Fettuccine is the absolute worst I've ever had in my life. Tastes like someone bought the cheapest sauce they could find and added water to it. The chicken had zero flavor. I wouldn't feed this to my dog. - The BBQ Chicken pizza had always been a favorite of mine, however the chicken was dried out and tasted off. Pros: - The waitress was a very sweet and understanding about the Fettuccine Alfredo, as we took two bites and sent it back. The employees seem great - just need to fix the food.

A large group dined at Aurelio's in Geneva last evening. Our server was Jamie and she did a fabulous job taking care of everyone. The food was great and we all had a great time. Just wanted to say Jamie did not get flustered with all our requirements. Great visit.

This is one of our favorite pizza places in the area! We have had dine in experience, take out and delivery. The customer service here is efficient and the pizza is delicious! We are big fans of the thin crust and a medium is perfect for two hungry people or 4 moderately hungry individuals! They also have an app that is highly convenient and I even scored a $ 10 off coupon for my birthday! The restaurant it self is well designed. The restaurant is technically off of Route 38 so parking can be tricky...but Aurelio's has a back parking lot that takes you directly to a take out window that is simple to pop in and out of! They also have a really pretty outdoor patio that is wonderful to sit out on a summer night. Delivery is always on time and we never get inaccurate time frames when we do take out.

Wife took me here for my bday lunch. We've always enjoyed the pizza, and the cheese pizza is as good as it always is. The rich, garlicky crust is the best around. Wife, and daughter loved the pizza. Unfortunately, I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, and it was the worst chicken sandwich I have ever eaten. This includes frozen dinner chicken. I cannot compare the meat to a hockey puck, because the puck would be softer. The chicken was so hard, I decided to give up halfway through, and just ate the pizza. So if u go to Aurelio's, definitely order the pizza, but stay away from the sandwiches.

Pizza is ok and the service leaves lots to be desired. Girl didnt know san Pellegrini was highlighted on advertised drink specials. Checked on us 1 time after ordering. A woman manager not in uniform but nice blouse was getting bus boys to hurry us along, put pizza in box etc. Not a pleasant experience. There are better pizzas and better service elsewhere.

Don't underestimate the magic of the sauce!! I went here with friends a couple weeks ago, and now Aurelio's has become a weekly take-out staple in our home! They have the best gluten free crust of any other pizza joint. We highly recommend the fried raviolis as well! Aurelio's is always full and there's a reason: great pizza and great fun!

We love their pizza but the grilled chicken sandwich was terrible. It had two small breasts that were way way way overdone and dry. Could not eat it as a sandwich. Cutting the chicken with a knife and fork was not easy. The owners should try eating one of these. I could not.

This place was not only delicious. They sat our group of 30 without any trouble. The service was top notch. Our party was seated and served just as you'd hope to get for a hockey team including the players families. We only had two hours between games and the staff was prompt and experienced. One couldn't ask for anything better. I would absolutely recommend this fine establishment. We arrived at 3 pm on a Saturday afternoon to only find enjoyment and relief to find and experience this good pizza parlor

Really salty and overcooked. I could handle the overcooked part but the extreme saltiness was a no go. I grew up eating Aurelios and the sauce has always been good. Apparently this location (Geneva) uses a different cheese which makes it so salty.

I guess if you don't like sauce on your pizza this location would work for you but I was disappointed. the red sauce they did use for dipping cheese tasted like a cheap store bought. I wouldn't return. In fact I had reservations for the following week for a family luncheon and I canceled. good luck

Service was good. The garlic bread didn't taste like garlic at all, just buttered nicely toasted bread. Wife got thin pizza that was just blah. I got the Lil 6 inch thick crust which was flavorless and all of 3 small pieces of sausage on it. Overall thumbs down on the food, I've had better frozen pizza. The server was really good though ask for drew he was great. Edit I wrote the above at the location, 5 hours later I was sick. Definitely not going back. Should have listened to Andrew zimmern, if it doesn't look good don't eat it.

Haven't eaten here in a while. But overall great food. Being a super nice day out we sat outside on the patio. There was live music and a great atmosphere. The patio is pretty dope. Lots of plants, flowers, trees and everything feels somewhat private even with it being so busy surrounding the place. Food was good. Had a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and some fried ravioli. Quality was your typical Midwest pizza place not bad but nothing special. Definitely good though.

Terrible. Didn't order the pizza, maybe we should. Hubby Ordered a beef sandwich, very dry. I ordered chicken parm sandwich. Disgusting worst thing I ever had in my life. It was worse than McDonald's chicken McNuggets. After much complaining the manager did comp our meal. Will never ever go back.

My husband and I ordered the medium extra cheese & meatballs pizza for lunch. The pizza was cooked well & we shared the appetizers of the mozzarella sticks & jalapeño poppers. Both appetizers were good. The medium was more then enough for us, we had left overs & got the rest boxed up. Service was great, friendly & attentive from start to finish.
