With its impressive selection of fresh, high-quality products and a warm, inviting atmosphere, it’s more than just a corner store. The friendly staff, cozy ambiance, and versatile space make it my go-to for everything from daily essentials to local events, casual drinks, and meaningful connections. A true gem in the neighborhood!

Moved into the area a few months ago and stumbling across Aurora Market has been one of the best parts. The ideal corner store to have in your neighborhood! Whether I need to grab something I forgot while grocery shopping, need a coffee to kickstart my day, or need a solid and reasonably priced sandwich during the work day, this place knows what they’re doing. I met Josh my first time in and he’s continued to remember me and go out of his way to make sure I know what events they’re hosting. Hoping to get over for one soon. A true family-operated store that is one of DC’s hidden gems!

Absolutely perfect service. Issac is great, and is an amazing person. This is the best spot in town.

Aurora Market is my favorite neighborhood market! They truly care about us as neighbors and have made so much effort to integrate into the neighborhood and be responsive to the food requests we all share with them. I go here all the time for fresh produce and love talking with them each time I visit. 5 stars!!

An incredible market with everything you need right around the corner to serve the local community and visitors to Washington DC. We love the owners' vision, passion for diversity, and the wide variety of products for all to enjoy. The sandwiches, pastries, coffee, various small batch products, fruits, vegetables, spices, wine, unique chocolate, and so much more in a compact store. It really has everything you need from fresh to frozen unique products. We appreciate the warm welcome from the owners and visited several times a day the week we stayed near by.

What a lovely neighborhood store! Got a great and simple sandwich on my way across town and enjoyed the friendly staff and the local artists' works on display.

Was randomly walking by and decided to pop in and check it out. I couldn't believe how cute it was inside! They do fun events on the weekend evenings in their private event space downstairs--like arts & crafts, stand up comedy, and more. The owner is a veteran and was super friendly. I got an iced vanilla latte and a Sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel and he made both to order. While I waited, I noticed they have a suggestion box too and the owner mentioned a lot of the things they have in the store now came from customer suggestions. Such a cool spot!

This is my "third place." In addition to having the odds and ends I need to grab, Pablo and Rahel are true champions of the community and delights to talk to. The host community events, from a kids craft night to comedy to music, in their beautiful basement space. And their bar + sandwich/breaky selections are delicious!

Great service, the place is very clean and organize and awesome food ( Ciabatta chipotle sandwich delicious highly recommended Pablo it's a great people person .

Great little neighborhood market with a pleasant assortment of useful and tasty food and drinks. Coffee, ice cream, beer, wine, sandwiches, a mix of prepared foods, pantry staples, and some produce! They also hold events such as small concerts and comedy shows in their lower level.

Aurora is the perfect community space. Every single person who works there is genuinely kind and helpful, and their selections are wonderful. Great people, great business.

From their sketchy ATM to their tiny selection of products, this market is a terrible addition to the neighborhood. This block of Irving has felt unsafe since they moved in. Also, they ask for a tip when you buy your overpriced pasta sauce. They even try to guilt you into it by parading a baby around. Gross.

Great layout.. Friendly staff. They are a great community spot, good sandwiches and very convenient.
