Quebec Microbreweries Launch Get Out The Vote Campaign ‘Moi J’Vote’ | Eater Montreal

"The people behind gin-and-beer tasting event La Cuvée are launching a new event called Coup de Foudre on November 1 at Ausgang Plaza on St-Hubert Street, focused on rarities and very-small-batch brews — expect novelties like a tequila imperial pilsner from Gaspé’s Le Naufrageur, a bourbon barrel-brewed stout from Dunham, and a gin made with native Gaspésie herbs from La Société Secrète; tickets are $25." - Tim Forster

Very cool venue with artistic features with prints and decor. Very spacious place to host events of all types.

Fantastic venue. It was perfect for the fashion show that we organized. The alcoholic beverages are cheap in the main room. Their store that they have has montreal brands and they have those fancy espresso machines to serve coffee. Its a really lovely place. I suggest it for events or get togethers.

Had a great time at the Iniko show at Ausgang Plaza. A charming venue with good vibes and yummy drinks.

I went to see one of my favorite artists here. She was amazing, but I didn't enjoy this venue. The worst part is the stage. It's not high enough. When you go to see an artist perform, you want to be able to actually SEE them. I could barely see her head through the crowd. I'm 5'2". That might not be very tall but it's an average height for a woman. I feel bad for people shorter than me who definitely wouldn't have been able to see the artist on stage. The next thing is that there's only one wall with seating available. In a room that holds hundreds of people, only about 10 people would have seating. Thirdly, the service at the coat check is subpar. I had to check my things since I had a backpack coming straight from work. Once the show was over, it literally took 30 minutes to get out of the building. At the coat check, I gave them my tickets, they gave me my coat, but then they ignored me and passed many other people. I was standing there for 5 straight minutes trying to get their attention before they finally gave me back my backpack. I thoroughly regretted tipping them since you have to pay in advance.

Love it! Always has cool exhibits and events. Love that they support local Montreal artists and the LGBTQ+ community. It's a safe space for the urban artists, art hoes(lovers and appreciators), punks, weirdos, outsiders, badasses and everyone else in between to gather and appreciate art and have a good time.

Needs better communication between the venue and the company selling tickets. I was told the doors would open at 7, it was 7:35. There was no mention of a mandatory coat check, yet we had to check our coats. The ticket-taking and coat-checking process was ridiculously slow; the show was 45 minutes late in starting due to the time it took to let everyone in. Need to plan better and hire more staff if necessary! I would not return to a show here.

A great place to host and see a show! Bar, security and tech staff are 💯 en pointe. Three projectors for backdrops and video, and multiple DJ setups. Tables and chairs available for cabaret which can also be cleared away for a dancefloor. Wheelchair accessible washrooms. Will definitely be booking with this location again.

Ausgang Plaza is a cool space. It sets up intimate concerts and just about anywhere you're at you feel like your in the pit. Good sounds for a small space, too. The sound isn't muddled at all. There's good bar service and the bathrooms weren't bad.
