The Austin Table Tennis Club is an excellent place to enjoy playing with friends or competing in leagues. There are two main open leagues: one on Sunday mornings and the other on Wednesday evenings, where you can participate and track your ratings. The facility offers over 20 tables and plenty of parking spots. The staff is friendly, and the overall vibe is welcoming, making it a great environment for players of all levels. Whether you’re a casual player or a serious competitor, it’s a fantastic spot to enjoy the game.

My twins learns a lot from this wonderful place! It was a great and positive place to learn table tennis. Weekly tournament also a plus, welcome any level of ping pong 🏓 lovers!

Totally enjoyed playing at the club. They have a league on Wednesday starting around 7 pm. Sometimes, the league is very busy so it is better to get there early around 6 pm to ensure a chance to play in the league. There are many tables and they are spread out enough to make room for players. Overall, a nice play to play TableTennis. Players have rattling as high as in 2000s.

Google
Very friendly people. While most of the regulars are very skilled, it is a welcoming environment nonetheless. The level of players playing here is pretty good. If you want a serious competition, this is the place you should visit.

Google
Very affordable and available for the whole day to use. Has nice amenities and water filling stations. The staff are friendly and will provide the racquet and balls to play.

This place needs a lot of love. This place was established in 1990, and has been the one and only destination for experiencing ping pong at a higher level. Many people think of ping pong simply in a recreational sense, but once you come here, you will see the sport in a whole different light. Keep in mind if you are visiting that it is connected to a storage facility, and that there is a coded gate in order to enter the facility. make sure you call them and ask for the gate code, parking outside the gate is risky, as towing is enforced.

I couldn't be happier with my decision to join this table tennis club and learn from Coach Bato. From the very first lesson, he has been incredibly friendly, supportive, and dedicated to helping me improve my skills. His deep knowledge of the sport, together with his patience, have been instrumental in my progress. Learning from Coach Bato has been an incredible experience, and I'm grateful for his guidance in my table tennis journey.

Google
Fun place to meet and play with people of varying skill. I like that students only pay $5. A bit strange to go through a storage facility gate to get here but it's fine after the first time you come.

Yelp
Austin Table Tennis Club: A Steep Price for a Game of Paddle Austin Table Tennis Club offers enthusiasts a place to enjoy and practice their table tennis skills. While the club may meet the standard requirements for table tennis, it falls short in providing value for the cost. The monthly membership rates are extremely high, especially when compared to other reputable centers like ICC Milpitas in California. ICC Milpitas, known for being an advanced center for table tennis in the USA, offers a far more reasonable pricing structure--$48 per month for a membership and an annual rate around $300. This stark difference in pricing raises questions about the value proposition of Austin Table Tennis Club. The steep annual membership also makes it difficult to justify long-term commitment, particularly for players who are looking to improve their skills without breaking the bank. Summary Austin Table Tennis Club may serve its primary function as a table tennis facility, but the cost of admission might be hard to justify for many players, especially when comparable, and even superior, options exist at a fraction of the price. Hope you find this review insightful!

Yelp
I don't play, but I've come here with my parents and my dad usually plays for a few hours. They have restrooms, wifi, clothes changing closets, and plenty of tables for specators to pass the time and get work done on their electronic devices (like me).

Yelp
Let's face it, we are in the age of dementia... yelp is a huge contributer with the sugary cupcake/Gourdoughs fads and alcohol/caffeine reviews... Well, the current PBS book-sellin thru dementia-paranoia dude, Dr. Daniel Amen, is sayin that "Table tennis is the world's best brain sport." Okay, this is a fine facility(non-profit) with pro shop, clean tiled restrooms, table tennis robots(ball machines), usually a coach on premisses(reasonable rates)... only met nice people so far... what's not to like, burning some calories and getting an endorphin rush in a controlled environment. Extended daytime hours make this an attractive spot for home schoolers as well. 16 tables, loaner and rental paddles, balls supplied So, if yelp elite-dom has contributed to your obesity or enhanced your poor habits in life, table tennis may be able to slow your decline into the world of dementia... and it may be fun

Yelp
I love ping pong, and was a bad-ass thirty years ago. Translation, I was a legend in my own mind! I first went to ATTC about about 2007 or so and was intimidated by the level of play and the fact that I didn't know anyone. I didn't come back until 2009, this time with a friend in tow. He only played once with me, I was again intimidated watching other players and didn't return till Sept 2010. I went once more with a friend, played with several people, and had lots of fun. The following week we went again, but my friend had to leave early. I watched all these awesome players, felt intimidated, again, and in comes Joel. He encouraged me to play with others, but when I appeared unwilling he asked if I would play with him. It was way fun; I suspect he felt sorry for me and let me win a few games :-). He then introduced me to two other players and I began a match with one. He said he wasn't very good then proceeded to kick my butt, LOL. I went by myself the the next evening, they have classes on Monday and Wednesday, for a class and played for two hours with Jason, under the guidance of Ken, the ATTC teacher. This was awesome. Long story short, the club is friendly, the facility rocks, and the price is right. I was once a total ping pong wimp :-(, but thanks to Joel, Ken, and Jason I'm coming out! What's the downside? Most of the players will kick your butt. Get over it, come on out, get better, have fun, and get your pong on!

Yelp
Fantastic table tennis arena. Lots of high quality players between 1800 and 2300 ratings. Great coach (Ken) and extremely professional and friendly environment. Costs $7 to play for the day, $50 for a monthly membership and $3 a day for rental rackets in case you don't have any. Air conditioned environment, clean restrooms, table tennis robots and a great equipment shop. 16 tables and the balls are supplied. If you love table tennis, this is the best table tennis club in Texas!

Yelp
Are you a fan of Ping Pong? Do you like to play Ping Pong? If you answered yes to either, or both, of these questions, then why the fuck aren't you here? That is all. P.S. You gotta know the gate code to get in.

Yelp
My friend had a birthday party here where we just played a ton of ping pong for 3 hours. It was great! The venue itself is a bit hard to find as it's within the gates of the AAA storage facility but once you get in, it's a hell of a venue. They have ping pong balls and tables with all the partitions set as well. In addition, the back walls are painted blue so you can see the orange ping pong ball even better. The second floor viewing area is pretty ingenious since it allows spectators to view every single court with no problem. The bathrooms were nice and clean and it was a blast playing there!

Yelp
The place has moved to: Austin Table Tennis Club 8956 Research Blvd. Austin, TX 78758 Located at AAA Storage Its a great open space with 16 tables, lots of parking, a viewing mezzanine above the tables, a coke machine, challenge board, lots of balls, and players of every level of skill. They have tournaments as well as league play. This is a great place to start playing Table Tennis or revisit the game after a few years. Also, they have league play which is a lot of fun.

Yelp
Awesome place, I got a little lost its right before the train tracks. You have to call them to get the code. The guy at the counter was super cool and set me up with a 1800 player which was perfect. I recommend checking this place out!

Very friendly staff and players. All skill levels. I easily found players at my level(intermediate) and we played some doubles games and single. Would definitely go back again when visiting Austin.

Yelp
I love this place coz it`s big, clean and well lit. You`ll meet a bunch of good players there. I would love it more if they have better bats and lower rates.

Yelp
Amazing club with hardwood floors (no slipping!). The walls are a different color than the tables which makes it really easy to see the ball. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommended. P.S their hours are fantastic!

Yelp
This is a hidden gem. Truly hidden! Don't let the location fool you. This is a great place to go sorbs a few hours and have some fun. If you're a ping-pong novice like me, you'll appreciate watching the highly skilled players who come here. We stumbled upon this place after funding out Highland Lanes had a 90 minute wait. I'm glad we found it.

Yelp
Excellent place. Nice facility. Friendly people. Talented instructors and players of all exp. levels. Would recommend to anyone who is interested in table tennis or is a more advanced player. Not to mention its not to pricey.

Yelp
This place is really awesome, no matter what level your play is. I think there's 17 tables---plenty of room for everyone and anyone to play. They have an upstairs lounge with comfortable seating and big screen tv if you need to take a break from your table tennis game. We brought my whole family here over the holidays last year and really had a blast. If your kids like to play, you can put them in table tennis camp during the summer. It's cool (literally) You do need a gate code to get onto the property, so call ahead!
