I’ve been to Austin Tea Xchange several times now, and it’s become a must-visit every time I’m in Austin. The food is always amazing, the coffee never disappoints, and their ricotta? Easily the best I’ve ever had. I also love trying their seasonal coffees—they’re always fun and unique. Definitely one of my favorite spots in the city!

Google
Okay, this cafe is AMAZING!! Staff are friendly, welcoming, patient and helpful. Menu is extensive but not overwhelming. Coffees customized to preferences. Food is delicious, natural, well-plated, and perfectly portioned. Environment is clean, has inside and outside seating, and Cost is reasonable. Parking nearby and plentiful. Location is off main highway, easy to find. Deserves a 10/10. Will come back (with a friend ☺️)!

Google
I love Austin Tea Exchange! Such a great atmosphere and friendly team. It’s very close to my dental practice, Austin Hills Dental, so I go for lunch at least 1-2 times a week!! Everything I have tried on the menu is delicious, especially this southwest cobb salad. I’m determined to try every flavor of iced tea, they have so many good options!

Just had a delicious quinoa bowl on the cutest patio in Bee Cave! Fabulous ambience and service! One of my favorite restaurants in the area, and the owners are really amazing too! I always feel like family when I come here!

Google
I had Austin Tea Xchange to create a catering brunch for a local retreat of 17 hungry women. The Spring Harvest Bowl with chicken was amazingly delicious. Everyone loved their meal. When a local family owned restaurant pays close attention and care to their offerings it truly feels like love was put in the food. Thank you

Google
I got a sweet potato hash bowl. Today was the first time I have ever heard of this place. Put an online order in and in their defense I was 20 min late to pick up the food. My complaint is the avocados in this bowl were dark green, bordering on black. These did not look fresh. I threw them out. I will give this place another chance, but next time I will definitely look at my food before I leave the place. Not the greatest first impression.

Google
We recently had the pleasure of working with Austin Tea Xchange for our school staff appreciation lunch, and the experience was absolutely outstanding. They catered a delicious meal for 100 staff members, featuring delicious lasagna and salad that had everyone raving. From start to finish, Kamilla, the owner, was incredibly pleasant and professional—truly a joy to work with. Her attention to detail and clear communication made the entire process seamless. It’s not easy to feed a large group, but ATX made it look effortless while delivering top-quality food that exceeded all expectations. Our staff couldn’t stop talking about how tasty everything was, and many went back for seconds! It was the perfect way to show our appreciation, and we’re so grateful to Kamilla and Austin Tea Xchange for helping make it special. Highly recommend for any catering needs—you won't be disappointed!

Google
I love Austin Tea Xchange so much!! Not only is it owned by the most genuine and caring family, but they also serve the yummiest food made with real ingredients. My personal favorite right now is the hot honey beef bowl. 🔥 The flavors go so well together and the beef is local! I love when local businesses support other locals. Thanks Tea Xchange for always serving the best food and best experience. 🤍🩵

Yelp
Best BLT sandwich I have ever had. The bread was special and the tea wonderful. Will definitely come back.

Yelp
This tea and sandwich shop is located on the south side of 71 in the Hill Country Galleria section of Bee Cave. It's a pleasant, quiet and comfortable spot to break from shopping in the Galleria area. Think sandwiches, a selection of salads, some coffees and a wide selection of tea options. As it was lunch, we opted for two salads. I can testify to the spinach salad. Extremely fresh ingredients, as you would expect. The spinach wasn't the washed out, limp ordinary variety. It was pungent without being intrusive, as were all the toppings. They must make their own blood orange dressing, as it was uniquely flavorful and added to (rather than masked) the other flavors. Goat cheese also very fresh. You might say that 'a salad is a salad' and not much worthy of a review, but that's not the case here. They obviously take care and pride in their offerings, and that's charming. It's counter service, so it's hard to say much about that, except that it's inviting. The ambience is understated and, as I said, QUIET. Which is more than I can say for practically every other Bee Cave lunch venue.

Yelp
I feel healthy walking out of here -- and refreshed! Love this place for go to drinks and to stay awhile and work. My favorite are the ginger green tea drinks, hot or iced! Their bowls are perfect for a healthy brunch go to and their yogurt creations are also a great alternative-- their white chocolate raspberry yogurt bowl is addicting.

Christina H.

Yelp
Cute cafe with lots of coffee & tea options, but basic food catering to it's demographic. If you're looking for a healthy option or need a quick meal, Austin Tea XChange fits the bill. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, but what came out wasn't as exciting as expected. I honestly could have gone to the store, purchased better ingredients, and could have made something tastier. Though the food wasn't my cup of tea, I will say, I was quite impressed with the Chai Latte I ordered. I could actually taste the spices, without it being too overpowering.

Yelp
I met my girlfriend here on Sunday morning. It's a great place to have a chat on their patio on a nice day. I got their white peach tea cold with a gluten-free cranberry orange muffin. It was warm and so good. Everyone was friendly, and the service was fast. I need to come back and try more of the menu soon. I can't believe it has been here so long, and I had never tried it. Tea, muffin, and tip were $12.

Yelp
Overall, disappointed with my order. We spent over $100 on food, drinks and some pastries to go but it was just ok. The sweet potato hash has beautiful presentation but under the eggs was complete mush. I read a previous review and someone said they order it extra crispy. That is how hash is supposed to be. How would a customer know ahead of time that it is not cooked the traditional way? Basically I paid $10 for 2 eggs and a garnish of avocado because I didn't finish the rest. I ordered the white peach tea and it was so syrupy that I didn't drink it. There were 5 little chunks of peaches in it so it has to be all syrup. I tried 2 sips out of the whole drink and shared with my family. They agreed it was gross. "Antioxidant packed white tea blended with sweet peach" is what I ordered but what I received tasted like an Arizona tea in a can that is full of sugar. The customer service was great. You could tell the employees were working really hard to get orders out on time. I just don't know if the price is worth a return visit.

Yelp
Best salads and delicious paninis. The breakfast items are also to die for. I love a healthy option in the Bee Cave sea of Mexican food restaurants. There is an extensive selection of teas, but the coffee is also great!

Alexa S.

Yelp
This is a great location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food and drinks are tasty.

Carolina B.

Yelp
I'm so sad I don't live in Austin. Because if I did, I'd probably come here several times a week! Lovely breakfast items and the drinks--omg, the DRINKS! I would love to have one right about now... you won't go wrong with any choice. It's all incredible and such a cute place!

Hannah W.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots for meeting friends and enjoying delicious teas, coffee and amazing food! I love their savory (or sweet) Greek yogurt creations. I also order the sweet potato hash, it's absolutely delicious! Also love the greek salad, quinoa bowl and gluten free muffins. Not only is the food and atmosphere top notch, the owners are incredibly giving and supportive of our community. They are always engaged, open and willing to connect with a smile and huge heart!!!

Jen R.

Yelp
I wanted to give a huge shoutout to Kamilla and Austin Tea Xchange for providing the most amazing lunch today for our teachers at a local elementary school. They helped me create an amazing menu of sandwiches, salads and bowls and were sensitive to providing food for all dietary restrictions. Their staff helped me load up the car and made sure I had everything I needed. Kamilla even surprised me by including the most scrumptious-smelling chocolate croissants for all our staff as a special spring break treat! They really went above and beyond! I love supporting local businesses that have healthy, delicious food and the cherry on top is working with amazing people. I highly recommend them for your next group gathering or even stop in for a solo lunch. You won't be disappointed

Yelp
Great service, wonderful pastry and excellent cooking The pastry and salad is fine for brunch

Solomon R.

Yelp
Tea Xchange in Bee Cave provides a convenient spot for a quick, no-fuss breakfast. Their croissants and sandwiches are reliably good, a comforting start to any morning. What really sets Tea Xchange apart, however, is their splendid variety of teas. From classic to exotic blends, they cater to any tea enthusiast's taste.

Melissa M.

Yelp
We love Austin Tea Exchange. Their food is delicious with lots of healthy options and their coffee and drinks are great. Everyone is always so nice and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. We also appreciate that it is a small business.

Erin B.

Yelp
Really enjoy this cute spot to meet friends or just grab a quick bite while running errands. There were also some very cute Girl Scouts out front this morning - love to see local businesses supporting our community!

Julia C.

Yelp
Cute cafe in a convenient location. The service was nice and friendly. The menu was a lot to go through because of all the options. We ordered two items off the seasonal menu. Yum!

Quin T.

Yelp
For a quick, healthy bite that is not fast food, this is a great place to try. We tried the greek and mexican bowls as well as the chicken & mozzarella sandwich and all were good, but the greek bowl with chicken was absolutely delicious!

Tiffany C.

Yelp
This cafe is so wonderful! Today I ate there twice for breakfast and lunch! The owners are kind and truly care about the quality of food. It is a great place to meet a friend for lunch!

Shradha A.

Yelp
Really friendly staff, spacious clean inviting cafe, great for conversations and meals. Some people were getting work done - power points easily available. Didn't check for wifi. Sweet potato bowl was a hit as was their rose chai!

Pree R.

Yelp
Reasonable prices, great drinks, an overall cute place to brunch just outside of Austin. The Golden Milk latte hot is so rich and delicious. Love thinking that the curcumin is doing its stuff and working as an anti-inflammatory while I enjoy it as a frothy drink. I had the Feta, Tomato, Basil and Egg Sandwich on a brioche bun. It was an evenly layered sandwich and had a soft, chewy texture that I like. Outdoor seating is perfect in April. The weather was breezy and cool when we went for Sunday brunch. Highly recommend!

Humairaa A.

Yelp
Super close to lakeway, texas. Not only is the food and coffee delicious, the owner is kind and truly cares for customer satisfaction. I tried the rose matcha latte, found it a little too strong matcha for my taste as I'm not a huge matcha/green tea fan. Therefore I asked if I could try another drink for free and was able to get a vanilla latte instead. Perfect amount of sweetness and the coffee was rich/strong. Loved it! I tried multiple sandwiches as I was too late for breakfast which ends at 2 pm. I would recommend the turkey pesto, chicken mozzarella, and veggie stuffed cheese. Gluten free chocolate chip cookie was solid, actually one of the best cookies i've tried. No "gluten free" taste haha! Frozen mango drink was refreshing and well balanced. All in all, I love this place! can't wait to come back to try more.

An D.

Yelp
Love this place. The food always tastes fresh and delicious. The first time we came, I ordered the Chicken & Mozzarella sandwich which was alright -- edible but not that much flavor. Now, I order the Berry Yogurt, and it's been perfect every time. My boyfriend says the sweet potato hash bowl is the perfect pre-workout meal, though it's slightly salty. I highly recommend this place! Good spot for breakfast/lunch, though probably not the greatest for studying without noise cancelling headphones because families and groups do tend to eat in here.

Jessica A.

Yelp
Good food - but restaurant is ran poorly. Phones aren't set up properly on Google. No one ever answers the phone. I order twice a week and every time I have to call and ask for more sauce cause the Buddha bowl barely has any...my assistant and I will call about 20x before someone answers...then they won't even add extra sauce like we ask. I'll pay more for extra if that's why they are being so cheap. Went into restaurant one time and it felt very dirty...tables were dirty & so was the floor.

Average Joe W.

Yelp
No issues with the food, service, or atmosphere. I have an issue with price/value. Running into get a Buddha bowl with checken and iced tea will set you back $30. Maybe easy come easy go for some, but hard to justify this on a frequent basis. I'd compare quality maybe slights better than a Salata or Chipotle. There ARE better choices. Hope owner considers pricing on some of these items...maybe include a protein when you're paying $15 for a bowl.

Emilia G.

Yelp
Great place for morning coffee/ light breakfast. I equally Love to sit inside it enjoy the large outdoor patio on a nice day. Counter service, consistent food quality although menu is somewhat limited to pastries and bowls ( or maybe that's what I get every time. Either way, worth the visit- meet a friend or make it a day out of the office with a capuchin and your laptop.

Megan Y.

Yelp
Drinks are yummy, but quite pricey. Restaurant is cute, though! knocked off 1 star for the price.

Taslin T.

Yelp
This place was very yummy! My family and I were looking for a breakfast place to stop by as we were passing through town. I'm glad we stopped here! The inside and outside of the cafe was super cute and welcoming. We ordered and when our food came out it looked great so we all had a little sample of each other's food hahah. All the staff we interacted with were very kind and answered our questions about the menu throughly. One of the ladies behind the counter recommended me the cinnamon bun latte which was definitely on the sweeter end but it was still good. I think this is a good brunch place to go with family/ friends or even if you wanted to do some work or study on your own (they have high chairs along the windows of the building).

Erica G.

Yelp
We loved this place and everything it had to offer. We tried the chai tea latte and the mocha latte.. Everything was so amazing and the decoration is perfect especially for a coffee joint in Bee Cave Texas!! Easily one of the best chai tea lattes I've ever had! Bravo!

Lola A.

Yelp
This place is a total gem! Camilla has a great staff and amazing selection of items to choose from! I love how clean and neat the place is kept! Their gluten free muffins are amazing! I highly recommend popping in and checking this place out, you won't be disappointed!!!

Veronica Y.

Yelp
One of the legacies of living in the UK for a few years is my love of tea with milk (separate from my love of milk tea that is a legacy of growing up in Hong Kong). Cupping a warm mug between my hands, inhaling the aroma, feeling that first warm sip slide down and warming me up from the inside out... it centers me, calms me, makes me feel at home. And Austin Tea Xchange makes an Xcellent tea. This black tea rose latte was so perfectly fragrant without tasting like perfume. Hit the spot. And then I tried my boyfriend's frozen peach tea and my mind was BLOWN. It tasted peachier than the best peaches at the height of peach season. Oh my, how they distilled that essence of peach into the drink I'll never know. And finally, the food here doesn't leave you feeling guilty! Had a wonderful sweet potato bowl and did not feel disgusted with myself afterwards.

Nicole R.

Yelp
Good ambiance. Greta food. Amazing service! It a great place to read a book or study. It's not too loud and the seating is pretty comfy, not like couches but the chairs are good.

Celena S.

Yelp
I haven't had anything here that I didn't love!! My favorite is the strawberry ricotta toast. I got it twice last week, that's how good it is! I love the Greek yogurt bowl and get a side of chicken and it is amazing!! Everything in the bow is fabulous!! All the tea combinations you can imagine are available here. Just bought my husband a new tea steeper/bottle and he absolutely loves it!

A H.

Yelp
Friendly staff, clean location with nice window seating. I ordered the turkey pesto sandwich which tasted fresh but my goodness it was so bland! I mean even a dash of pepper or some flavor in the pesto would of livened it up while still being healthy. I enjoy healthy and clean food, but that doesn't mean it has to lack flavor by any means. If I was in a pinch I'd probably stop in again, but I'm certainly not in a rush to go back by any means.

Sue S.

Yelp
The best place. Love coming. Great food. Small family owned business. Love the breakfast. Everything is great.

Kelly O.

Yelp
If I could give this place 100 stars I would. OMG everything is to die for!! The coffee (we got almond milk cappuccinos) -- perfect and delicious. You MUST try the sweet potato hash. I got the sausage/quinoa/spinach bowl the next day and loved that as well. Their muffins will melt in your mouth and make you wonder if Jesus made them. I would go here for breakfast lunch and dinner every day if I would not make an a** out of myself. It's THAT good. You have to get yourself here-- try everything because they are THAT good at what they do!!!

Christy F.

Yelp
The food is delicious and fresh. Service is fabulous. Owners are lovely. And I love that they support their community having the Girl Scouts selling cookies out front. This is a local gem we hope is here to stay for the long hall!

Hudson D.

Yelp
This is a great place depending on what food you get personally I like the yogurt and it's right next to tutoring and it's a great place

Kimberly E.

Yelp
We came here early on a Sunday morning to caffeinate ourselves before our drive back to Dallas. Despite being short staffed, which seems to be a theme down this way, the staff was awesome! The food was delicious, the Mexican chocolate coffee smelled and tasted good, and my fiancé needed something sweet to top it all off, so he paired his coffee with the triple chocolate croissant. If we lived down this way we'd be back for sure!

Jennifer S.

Yelp
I've eaten here two days in a row, does that tell you something?! One of my favorite little spots around our hood. Excellent food with a healthy menu, and speedy service. My go-to's are the sweet potato hash bowl (with eggs and avocados) or the Avocado Toast. Both are delicious. Also, don't forget to try the Golden Tumeric hot latte - with coconut milk! YUMMM.

Amy C.

Yelp
My friend and I came here because of all the 5 star reviews. We had high hopes for their food and drinks. We ordered the avocado toast and the breakfast sandwich on a brioche bun. The avocado toast would have been amazing if not for the spiciness level. It was almost inedible due to that fact. There was nothing in the description saying there were any peppers or jalapenos in the guac they used. The breakfast sandwich was subpar, it was all bun. Not much egg to speak of. The cappuccino I ordered was just average. Nothing special about that, either. Not sure why there are so many rave reviews about this place.

Megan W.

Yelp
Really cute place to work. Good food and drinks. The drinks are a little pricey but good. They have a shaded outdoor area and a large indoor area. The staff are really nice. Would definitely come back especially if I was in need of a good coffee shop to work at.

Chaese J.

Yelp
Love this spot!! Austin tea exchange is a great place to grab a bite to eat and sip on some fresh tea/coffee. I recently moved into an apartment complex close by and have been stopping by almost every morning to grab my coffee and sweet potato hash bowl! The sweet potato hash bowl is amazing. I always order it extra crispy and am never disappointed. Definitely a mush stop by in this area

Heather J.

Yelp
verdict: it's just okay. everything was fresh which was nice. i got the sweet potato hash bowl and presentation wise it's lovely and nothing is inedible but the ratio is just way off. it ended up being really heavy/starchy and needed anything fresh to balance it out. i'm sure there is other stuff here that's better but i would not recommend and definitely wouldn't return.

Lacoul F.

Yelp
This place was average at best. Came here due to the 5 star reviews, and was very disappointed. Upon the cashier's recommendation, I ordered their most popular item on the menu, the sweet potato hash bowl. The sweet potato was undercooked, and very under seasoned. I also ordered their matcha latte, which was watered down and the matcha to milk ratio was way off. I also ordered their brioche breakfast sandwich, which tasted like those breakfast sandwich you buy from the freezer aisle at the grocery store to just heat up at home. Their strawberry cheesecake croissant was also average at best, and didn't taste very fresh. Just very shocked as to why this place has 5 stars. Nonetheless, service was fast, and people working were very kind.

Sonal G.

Yelp
A cute little cafe in Bee Caves, I found the best lavender matcha latte I've ever had here. It's nice and frothy and topped with lavender buds which makes it smell and taste absolutely heavenly for someone like me who loves floral flavors. I also had a greek yogurt bowel which was yummy and different from anything I've seen before - there are really good topping combinations that really do make a healthy dip for chips or the like. I don't know that it was worth the price, but really was a good idea I might try at home. The lavender matcha latte though. That's just it for me. I will be back for that!

Michael M.

Yelp
Fantastic place. Good service and good food. Great for something a little different. And they do their Matcha right. Delicious.

Scarlett C.

Yelp
I absolutely love the food here :) The Quinoa Protein Bowl and Mexican Bowl are two of my favorites! However, I can eat anything on the menu! Definately a spot I like to visit with friends or with family when they visit from out of town. Friendly service and relaxing atmosphere :)

Courtney H.

Yelp
If you live or visit Bee Cave Austin Tea Xchange is a must!! They have the best coffee and tea drinks and the food is AMAZING!! From the avocado toast to yogurt bowls and fresh pastries!! The owners and staff are always so friendly and go over and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. If I could I would leave 10

Adam W.

Yelp
Quick and delicious meal! Made the choices based on friendly staff recommendations Ate outside on a glorious sunny day

A M.

Yelp
Very cute cafe with a wide selection of drinks and goodies. Lots of pastries, and sweet and savory Greek yogurt bowls. My kids love their waffles and their breakfast sandwiches. The tea and coffee drinks are legit. Their smoked salmon avocado toast was great!
