Interested in taking extra time to guide clients through the process of developing long term maintenance plans for skin care in an effort to avoid or prolong the need for more invasive or aggressive procedures, which is nice so you have options and have a team of professionals communicating with each other and the patient

I have had first hand experience with Dr. Poindexter, I met him about 13 years ago when I needed a revision breast implant surgery. It is difficult to find a doctor that wants to come clean up somebody else's mess. But he took on the challenge and the result was better than I hoped for.
Several years later he did my nose, under eyes, cheeks and neck ( these were not all done at the same time and all had better than expected post treatment results) .
After one of those surgeries I had complications. The risks were explained to me prior to surgery and I was fully aware of any potential risks and side effects and still elected to go forward,
Most times when things go wrong you read a negative review and the patient blames the doctor or the team afterwards for the way the situation was handled. Not the case here.
I developed a hematoma either during or after surgery a nose job, the next morning at my post op when my bandages were removed the nurse noted that I had developed swelling and bleeding behind the skin ( hematoma) and the doctor came in and they very quickly assessed me and came up with a plan that had me on the operating table within an hour or two with temporary drains placed in to relive the pressure and allow the blood to drain. This did not affect my surgical results or recovery time and this happened as a result of the way my body responded to the surgery and not as a result of the surgeon himself.
Nobody really wants to talk about what happens when something goes wrong, in the stack of consent forms it tells you anything that could happen including death and infection, it is a very real possibility and most of us still sign and pay and accept the possibility and almost always everything is fine. I have heard horror stories of people that were completely on their own or in an emergency room with strangers, none of that here, just an overly competent team of doctors, nurses and anesthesiologist giving EXCELLENT cosmetic and non cosmetic surgery.
The way the team pulled together during the not so pretty times of surgeries that make you pretty just really created such a feeling of complete trust in their ability to keep me safe and really follow through with such amazing post op care. The after hours team was always available and the post op nurses on phone duty quickly responded to questions and concerns. Thank you Dr. Poindexter
I also see Shima for Lasers, and peels and Morpheous.
Shima, gives amazing treatments. There is discomfort with some of these treatments, lasers can sting, again you have to have a realistic expectation. What's nice about passing the time during a slightly uncomfortable treatment is the personality of the provider, the temperature of the room, the dim lighting, the spa music, it's a whole vibe to make you as comfortable as possible.
Shima, is well educated on current industry technology and application.
She is able to give a realistic expectation on level of discomfort of treatments, downtime, cost, and long term skincare goals and appropriate skincare products for my skin type. There have been times when she was booked solid for weeks but was able to accommodate me because I had an event or something going on in my life.
Shima, is the go to for the tri state area for skincare, rock star!! Thank you for all you do for me.
Sarah, is a newer relationship but so far can say nothing but great things, my Dysport is always on point, forehead frozen and pouty lips just the way I like it, Thank you Sarah!!
I can't thank you all enough, this whole team, for over a decade of great service. I appreciate you all more than you know, and will continue to drive over two hours round trip to keep my body and my face in tip top shape. I get compliments sometimes on how good I look for my age, I am attaching a picture of myself to show their work on me.
