Google
Steak flavor awesome, corn was a nice touch, rice undercooked and crunchy, NO beans, nice crisp lettuce, and salsa has decent flavor. Granted I did go in between meals at 3pm on a Saturday, so that’s probably why no beans and undercooked rice.

Google
The food is amazing!! The chips and salsa is the best I ever had. This was my first time trying this place. Kat and Tristian provided such excellent service!! I will give this place ten stars. I plan to come back will real soon!! 😊🙌🏽🔥

I had really high expectations for this place. I love the frozen yogurt spot next door and used to live nearby, so I would come regularly. Today I was in the area and decided to stop by—the place immediately caught my attention. It’s a nicely decorated and very clean location, and the food photos looked amazing, so I decided to give it a try. We ordered two chicken and one beef burrito to go, and honestly, we were disappointed. It was basically a tortilla filled with rice and just a few pieces of chicken. No exaggeration—it was easily 80% rice. Not what we were expecting. It didn’t taste bad, and the ingredients were good, but I paid over $50 for three tortillas filled with rice and just a little avocado. It’s a shame—it looked so promising! The staff were nice.

Google
Thanks to my brother, I discovered Austin’s Burritos. The Fried Queso was so so so good. The sauce took it to an even higher level. I had the option of getting a Fresh Ground Beer burrito or bowl. Since my brother got the El Macho Burrito, I decided to be different and get a bowl. I added Guacamole and Sour Cream to the bowl which definitely added to the taste.

Just wanted to recognize Hailey and Mathan for their warming, welcoming, and wonderful customer service! I know when I walk through those doors, I’ll be met with kindness and great energy. When they prepare my order, they don’t miss a beat! Matt is the owner. He has a great team! Thank you!!!!

Google
Austin’s serves delicious, huge burritos with fresh ingredients and amazing flavors. The portions are generous, and the service is fast and friendly. One of my favorite spots!

Yelp
We aren't from this state or even the area, but visited CCGwinnett and needed to eat lunch so once again turned to Yelp for help. Decided on Austin's because my son-in-law loves Mexican. Upon entering, I noticed it was smoky but smelled very good. Kind was funny about that thinking my coat is going to smell now. Lol Anyway, you order at the front and then find your table. However they do bring your food to your table. I was going to have a bowl which my daughter did (see pic), but noticed they said there was a shortage on lettuce and if you wanted it, you needed to pay extra. We decided against the bowl for other reasons as well. Opted to share a burrito instead with chicken. The burrito was long in size but it was packed with lots of ingredients and chicken. Super yummy and filling to split especially since we had chips and guacamole that we also shared with our two adult kids. The chicken was tender and packed with flavor. They say their guacamole is homemade. It was very good, not spicy but it could have used a bit more flavor. However for the price, our container (see pic) was filled and packed with it. The chips were okay. Nothing special nor where they warm, but okay with the guacamole. My daughter said the meat on her bowl was super tender and had lots of flavor not to mention with lots of filling. She was happy and couldn't finish it (see pic). We didn't have margaritas, but I did see them on the menu however didn't see anything to make them so I'm figuring they are the premade ones. I saw the churros and of course needed to try them since they are stuffed with chocolate. Lol They were warm to hot so be careful. The chocolate inside was yummy, but $6 for three little ones, I wouldn't buy them again. Kind of a 'one and done' thing for me. Got try them at least once. The place looked clean, didn't use the bathrooms to know how they looked. The young men working behind the counter grilling, assembling etcetera seemed kind. They were very helpful as we needed a few things from them and they responded quickly. And they were working hard at grilling those yummy meats. I'd say give Austin's a try as I know we would go back for lunch. I would have given 5* but the chips were just okay. I like mine warm.

Yelp
The service was great, the employees were friendly and helpful.... however the food itself was just OK.

Yelp
I really don't know how this place got 4 stars because listen! That was not it! I kind of blame myself for going to a Mexican restaurant called Austin's. Food was trash and expensive. Chips were old and tasted store bought. Burrito was bland and veggies were old. Floors were so sticky, I couldn't lift my foot. Fountain drink was trash. Had to trash my food and make a detour to McDonald's

Yelp
Usually when I try out a new restaurant, I order something simple so that if it's good, I know I can branch out and test the waters. I went on a Saturday afternoon and the place was empty except for the employees sitting in the dining tables. I can see now why it was empty. The cookies looked fantastic though!! I ordered the beef or pork burrito with salsa verde. I didn't have them take any of the usual toppings out. I didn't add toppings because they were maybe $1+ extra if I remember correctly. This place had a sign that said "voted best burritos in Georgia" or something like that... but they must've done a survey within a 1-mile radius. I don't know what it is about the tortilla itself, but literally almost all I tasted was the tortilla; it was almost like a powdery taste even though it wasn't powdery, if that makes sense. But I didn't taste any salsa; usually if the burrito itself lacks in flavor, the salsa might be able to make up for it. It wasn't the case here. I was waiting for the salsa flavor to come in like "maybe as I get closer to the center," but it never came :( It had been almost 6 hours since my previous meal, but I was only able to eat half of the burrito & I forced myself to save the other half for later but that was only so I didn't waste my money even though I really did. Suffice it to say, the burrito was a disappointment, & since the basics were a fail, I wouldn't try anything else or come back. I'm sorry. Maybe stop by for some good juice on a hot day?

Yelp
From "Mrs. Art." I needed a simple meal. Saw this burrito joint with two $ in Maps and decided it would be worth a try. The chicken was soft and fresh. The cheese was fine. The black beans were fine. The corn was tasty. Unfortunately this was all marred by pico de gallo that had gone sour. It was almost as if it had been pickled. (I asked, just in case I misunderstood what they were serving.) They told me that they make it fresh. But they either used old tomatoes today or it was made a different day and sitting around until used. I'm not sure I would try the restaurant again. My bill for one bowl was almost over $13. BTW, No chips come with the burrito, but sour cream is free, which was a plus.

Louise W.

Yelp
Greasy, burnt and charred. The chips tasted like old oil and I had to throw them away. All of us felt sick after eating it. I love a good burrito place but sadly didn't have a good experience with this one.

Yelp
The best big burrito place around here! Really good chips and queso. The service is always top notch. Tip: add grilled mushrooms.

Santiago R.

Yelp
Was hungry and wanted something fresh after a walk in the park. Ordered two #5 burritos (Chicken Fried Crispy Chicken)and the clerk figured it was our first time here (we were a bit lost). the fella hooked us up with two drinks, totally forgot his name but was very friendly. Asked the wife if she wanted cookies and she said no not today. Clerk noticed we were on the fence on the cookies and by the time the food was coming out, guy gave us two free cookies on the house too. Talk about trying to make a great first impression!! Food was great, the huge burritos tasted home made. Very friendly staff, place was super clean.

Tyler W.

Yelp
I was a little skeptical because I go to the same place for my bowls no it's not chipotle lol. But this place is sooo good I think I'm going to have to make a change. Saying they're better than chipotle is an understatement. If you love Mexican food give them a chance you won't regret it! Excellent service too!

Yelp
Yum! Delicious food and great friendly service! Restaurant is bright and clean. Great place to stop in.

Brandon D.

Yelp
Great place great food, employees were super nice and were willing to explain the menu. Ambiance wise it's awesome as well. My meal was 22 dollars though for a burrito fries and drink which is kind of pricey, Otherwise great

Yelp
Austin's Burritos! We were on the road and we were starving so we went in and boy, was it good!! What a find! I five-starred this because for fast-food we were thoroughly impressed with the friendly and attentive service, the cleanliness, the quality of food you get, and the taste! I definitely recommend the burrito bowls, anything with steak, Hill of beans and the chocolate filled churros. The guacamole, is fresh and my kids said it was the best rice and beans ever. Also, my husband was really impressed with the Texas table sauce, saying that it was the most spiciest delicious thing ever. The food came in under 5 minutes and everything was homemade. Great job!

Yelp
- We had Austin's Burritos cater a birthday party. They did an incredible job. Everything was provided - eating & serving utensils, sturdy plates (none of that cheap flimsy paper "plop & flop" plates), plenty of toppings, sides, and an excellent selection of steak & chicken. From placing the order, to pickup was very easy and convenient. I arrived about 15 minutes early, and to my surprise- everything was ready except the meats. Which was phenomenal- because Nate wanted the meal to be freshly cooked and super tasty. Mission Accomplished Great job to Nate and the entire team. It is refreshing to have great attitudes and attentive service.

Yelp
I eat lunch here on a regular basis and it has to be one of the best burrito places around. Food is made fresh and to order and the staff is always welcoming and friendly. Cant wait to be back.

Yelp
I think I'll give them another chance, based on the portion size for the burrito bowl and its reasonable cost, but there were a few disappointing hiccups. 1, their website has a pop-up indicating $5 off your first online order of over $20; however, the staff had absolutely no clue what that meant and said "we'll text the owner/manager and let him know", so I don't expect to ever see that $5 discount. 2. Kids meal was supposed to come with rice and beans, and even after paying extra to have chicken put into the quesadilla, there were no rice and beans included. 3. Requested no cheese in a burrito bowl, and there was cheese melted in middle layers with the pulled pork. 4. Why aren't there even a smattering of chips complimentary with any of the entrees?

Yelp
Love the burritos here. Quick service. Our go to place once in a week or 2.. been here couple of times. Got the County Line burrito and loved it both times. Need to try the other ones on the menu now. It's in a strip where there is lot of parking, a publix next to it..

Nat P.

Yelp
super delicious fresh and well made. the only reason it doesn't get five stars is because it is crazy overpriced. the burritos are very good but only once in a while since it's pricey. it's nice inside and the staff is friendly.

Yelp
We ordered catering from Austin's for a gender reveal party. I never eaten here before, but preferred to support local versus the chains like Chipotle and Moes. First off the customer service at this place was amazing, you can tell the employees there actually care about doing quality work, and want to make sure the customer is satisfied. The catering manager, Matt, was so accommodating, and personally called and texted me to make sure my order was exactly the way that I wanted it. When I went to pick it up, all of the catering containers were labeled and neatly packaged. Every thing looked like it had just been freshly prepared. The food is outstanding. We loved the steak, the guac, and the pico de Gallo, and chips and salsa the most, but it was all excellent. Almost everyone at the gender reveal said to me after, "wow, where is this place? I like it so much better than insert (Moes, Chipotle, Willy's, etc)". After this wonderful experience, Austin's will be our new go to burrito experience. Thanks again! Btw, I'm sure our new baby GIRL enjoyed it as well. ;)

Yelp
The staff is super polite and each burrito I've ordered (three total) were decent. The chips and queso are a dynamic side order also. My only gripe is having my order taken (payment included) and those same gloved hands preparing my food. Some ppl may not have a problem with that...but I do. Insert shoulder shrugs.
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Finally tried this place and the only thing I don't like is that I didn't go here sooner. They have the best tortilla chips! The chicken and steak both have amazing seasoning and flavor and so tender.
google avatar

Jesus P.

Yelp
I have gone to this place twice now and both times have gotten 2 different types of burritos. I haven't been disappointed yet. All the workers that I interacted with have been super friendly. Hopefully, this place keeps up the great customer service and the quality food because the other 2 burrito places (Moes & Barberitos) around that area have gone downhill when it comes to their quality and cleanliness.
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
The food is good for fast food, the service so far is not. Today: My son is a vegetarian and so he wanted queso and chips so I ordered that, even though it's free queso since the rest of the family would split the free one. Fortunately I asked if the free queso was in there and she said no not since you ordered one. She walked away and then came back and with attitude asked so you want the free one? I of course said yes. The person that was cooking grabbed a larger container and the lady so no, the small one. Just so much attitude over free queso. ‍

Yelp
My daughter and I ate here last night. Two roadie burritos (with no extras), with chips and salsa and two drinks rang up to be $30!!! That is RIDICULOUS! Will not be back!
google avatar

Yelp
NOTE: I HAD DELETED THIS REVIEW ONCE I CONTACTED THEM ABOUT THIS IN ORDER TO WAIT FOR THEIR RESPONSE. I NEVER RECEIVED A REPLY. The burritos there are great and well worth it but there's one big caveat - if you're going to gig, the prices are higher and with less customization than in store or their website. If you do use a gig, hit their website first to compare prices. They can't really argue its a delivery surcharge because the gig is just a hired pickup for a takeout order. I also won't be returning physically to the store unless they're willing to be honest and fair on this. Great place and good people in the store but the decision to up charge and limit selections for gig pickup is ridiculous. For the record, I do hope they'll reconsider. I was going to give it three stars since they're really good burritos with a good staff but thinking about how shady this is I went with two.

Clay T.

Yelp
Great Burritos and More! A tad pricey but worth it! On of favorite places for lunch or dinner!

Dianne P.

Yelp
We were excited to try this locally owned burrito spot since there aren't many options up this way. The menu has a wide selection of burritos, cheese dips and salads. This isn't your Chipotle or Moe's type of setting. The burritos/bowls already have selected ingredients for you. You place your order up front and they bring your food to you. My husband and I ordered the "High Livin" burrito and bowl which has grilled steak, cheese, pico, rice and beans. I added sour cream and hot salsa. They also ask what for temp on your steak which is great bc I love my steak medium rare! We also ordered the "Queso Perfecto" which is their white cheese dip which is topped with pico and guacamole. The kids shared a chicken bowl and a steak quesadilla. Everything was decently priced so we paid about $35 for a family of 5. Now the ratings.... The burrito wasn't anything special. Tasted like Moe's so I wasn't thrilled about it. Meat was bland, rice was hard and no flavor which made everything just taste ok. The Audi although was delicious. The guacamole and pico gave the cheese dip an extra taste and the chips have a little kick to them as well. Overall, I'm glad we something locally owned nearby. If you're looking for flavor, this is not the place to go. I do recommend trying them out as I love supporting locally owned businesses!
google avatar

Asha S.

Yelp
Honestly reminds me of Moe's chain restaurant in terms of food. The variety is more limited though - they specialize in burritos and burrito bowls. I did not see a selection of quesadillas, tacos or nachos but I assume they have the ingredients to custom make this if you'd like. I had the carnitas burrito bowl and it was good. Nothing to write home about, but like I said, if you've had Moe's, this will be the same. Their chips are good and different because they lightly coat them in a powdered taco seasoning which adds more saltiness and flavor which is nice. I'm not a fan of bland tortilla chips. The prices are normal/what you'd expect. If you get a burrito, chips (with queso or salsa/guac) and a drink, you can plan on spending about $10-$13. The interior is small, but nicely styled, it has an modern industrial feel. There are booths and larger tables with stools too. The service was quick! We ordered our food after a large group came through and our food came out in like 10 minutes. The staff is friendly and helpful.
google avatar

Ron J.

Yelp
This joint puts Moes and Chipotle to shame. I want Austin's every day! I've had the classic beef and fried chicken burritos. Both amazing. The queso is fantastic as well.
google avatar

Jo C.

Yelp
Edit - I got an email back within 10 min of contacting them.. Will see how this turns out, but again, our dinners were inedible. .. We have eaten here before, but it has been quite a while. Tonight ALL of our meals had so much pepper on the meats they we inedible! We are fine w spice, but all the meats were blackened w pepper, and even my husband who typically lays on the pepper thick could not finish his.
google avatar

David J.

Yelp
Support local!!!! I stopped in for my first time and it surpassed all expectations. The entire restaurant was immaculate, the staff was over the top friendly and the food was the best part. Very impressed with the amount, quality and price of the meal. This place is a must try if you are in the area.
google avatar

Leigh M.

Yelp
Edit from 2 stars to 5 stars. Thank you for the quick response. I really enjoyed the dinner and i will be coming back now that i know the price was a mistake. I was Charged $6.20 for a very small bean and cheese burrito for my 4 year old Daughter. I will never do that again!!!!!! Literally had only BEANS AND CHEESE.

John L.

Yelp
The food was fine, but the staff did not seem too dedicated to cleanliness. The approach overall seemed a little suspect and I was glad I could watch the food being made. The restaurant as a whole looked like it could use a cleaning from top to bottom. It was my choice to eat there, but I would avoid it in the future.

Steven M.

Yelp
Over priced and not worth the hype at all. Not fresh at all, you can tell the ingredients are all frozen. First and last time ordering from here. You're better off going to chipotle rather than this rip off.
google avatar

Nate B.

Yelp
Really glad we found this place. After recently moving to the area, I was a bit bummed out to find out that the nearest Chipotle was 20 minutes away. Yesterday my wife and I were eating frozen yogurt next door, and decided to look up reviews for Austin's. We saw they were good, so we checked out the menu. We were pleasantly surprised that they had burrito bowls. We ordered a chicken bowl and a steak bowl along with a side of guacamole, side of queso and bag of chips. Everything was really delicious. My wife and I shared bowls so we could see how both proteins tasted. Neither of us could decide which we liked better. The guacamole and queso were also really good. So today we decided to go back again. My wife got the chicken bowl, and I got the brisket. Let me just say WOW. THE BRISKET IS AMAZING. Really good tender brisket and it was loaded up high. I'm a big eater and I could barely finish my bowl. The staff both times we went consisted of all young ladies. They were all very pleasant and professional. The restaurant was clean and pretty cool looking. I'm happy this place is only a few miles from home. I can see us frequenting them once or twice a week. I honestly like them better than Chipotle, although I don't think the two should be directly compared. Austin's seems to have more hints of authentic Mexican food than Chipotle does. Being that they both sell burrito bowls though, I can see why someone would.
google avatar

Sharon K.

Yelp
Great food just like every time I come here. Super fresh and tasty! Tried the new Smoky Chicken and it was really good. Very clean.
google avatar

Lauren H.

Yelp
Who knew broccoli on a burrito could be so delicious?! I order the broccoli cheese burrito. It was large and a good value. The service was quick and friendly. I appreciate that they have multiple vegetarian options. I can't wait to come back here.
google avatar

Lindsey S.

Yelp
I got a take-out order last week from Austin's Burritos because I had been craving a burrito bowl all week. I kid you not, the Original Austin burrito bowl is better than anything I've ever had from Chipotle in my entire life, and it's reasonably priced, too!! They're a local small business, and I believe they're family-owned, and all the ingredients seemed super fresh and delicious!! I will definitely be coming back again!
google avatar

Mercedes H.

Yelp
Update: 4/10/18: came back a few days ago and they changed their prices a bit. Some of the extras cost money now but still doesn't break the bank: mushrooms are $0.50, onions are $0.25 and I think cojita cheese is $0.50. I tried the rojo spicy salsa and woowee! It. Is. Spicy!! ********************** Original post circa early March 2018: Stumbled upon this little shop tonight. I'm not one for burritos but I was hungry so I went in. I got the County Line Bowl for $8. It comes with Spiced beef brisket, cheddar cheese, rice & black beans, pico de Gallo, and lettuce. As I like living out of my car, I got my order to-go. I was very excited to see they put the fresh romaine lettuce at the very top so all the hot stuff didn't cook them. If you're expecting a Moe's or a Chipotle, don't come here. This is a quaint little locally owned establishment. The selections are limited but delicious. What I won't get next time and why: Pico de Gallo - This stuff was so FRESH the onions had the spiciest kick. My tastebuds don't like super fresh onions. Beef brisket - They make this better than some BBQ shacks I've been to. The meat was tender and cooked perfectly and they give huge chunks of it in the bowl. I really feel there was more meat than anything else. All the Extras - Because they're FREE!!! Unlike other burrito places, you can customize your bowl/burrito with lots of tasty extras for FREE. (Upcharge for guac & queso)

Geordan S.

Yelp
Friendly staff , good food and fast service. My kids really love coming here and I haven't had any bad experiences.

SJ D.

Yelp
over hyped , overpriced. $56 for 2 burritos and wine margarita & beer. the tip option starts at 15% (stand in line to order). There was so much rice in the burrito it over powered everything else. $2.89 each for guacamole that I finally opened the burrito to find. You can't post on thMeir website I think they control media.

Alejandra J.

Yelp
The food is extremely over priced and doesn't taste good at all. The 'crispy chicken ' option for the burrito is just a pre-frozen chicken tender. Most of the toppings are from cans and still cold. The burritos are very small. I also ordered the queso with chips which was a under $6. The queso container is very small and it didn't taste great. Lastly I got a churro which was $6.50 and it was the size of my middle finger in length. It tasted nothing like a churro and there was so much sugar/cinnamon on the outside, that's all you could taste. Won't ever order from here again.

Leroy D.

Yelp
Found hairs in my food order. At which point I threw the rest out an went to Chipotle.
google avatar

sean m.

Yelp
Austin's Burritos is relatively decently priced but the burritos were okay. The bowls were better but not a 5/5. I think it's a good place to go if you want to try burritos and etc but it's not an amazing place like chipotle.
google avatar

Greg P.

Yelp
Here right now eating lunch after a Sunday workout. Had the original Austin Burrito bowl with no cheese, and extra beans instead. Also a side of guacamole and chips. I gotta say, I am impressed. The food is fresh, tasty and plentiful. The guac is good, not salty, which i hate, too much sodium in everything nowadays anyway. Got the rojo sauce on the side and it is great! Just enough heat but not so hot you can't taste anything. A must try place. I will be coming back
google avatar

B M.

Yelp
Nice and heavy burritos! Filled with flavor and a really good dinner option! The queso perfecto is the way to go for cheese dip and chips!
google avatar

Bill M.

Yelp
Food was just ok. Employees look dirty, the grill was DIRTY!! The Health Score was 80!!! The booth I sat in was just too close to the table (which is bolted to the floor!) I won't go back. Chipolte is better because their employees are clean looking and their food is tastier! ((their music was AWESOME tho.))
google avatar

Jeff C.

Yelp
Good little local burrito spot. Ingredients seemed fresh and the service was good and friendly. The best thing about this place is their sweet and unsweetened tea.
google avatar

Corey R.

Yelp
Just stopped at Austin's. Place was immaculate, service was quick. Guy named Maurice seemed to be in charge and ran the show. Orders were quick, accurate and service was pleasant. Food is awesome... will come here I've chipotle's any day of the week.
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent size burritos. Chicken, pork and steak are excellent. Didn't like the brisket, don't like spicy meat. Chips and salsa are great. Great new place and excellent other option in the area.
