Came here for the first time with my entire family (10 people) to celebrate 3 birthdays that coincidently are all back to back. We were Absolutely AMAZED by everything about this restaurant. The food is DELICIOUS, the environment is warm, welcoming, cozy, and fun. The best and my FAVORITE part was the attention and service. Mel was VERY kind, professional, and attentive, in addition to the rest of the staff. We are big foodies and love Mexican food and the food here is AUTHENTIC. Everything came quickly, and Mel and the other staff kept checking in to make sure everything was ok. They even had Karaoke! This made the night much more fun. They make the experience feel like a family reunion. Receiving service like the service we received tonight was one in a million. You don’t see that as often anymore. These hard workers deserve it all! We are very very grateful for everyone who attended to us, and joined us in celebrating tonight while there. We can’t wait to go back!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! From start to finish, this was one of those meals that makes you stop mid-bite and say “wow.” I ordered the Al Pastor Burrito and the Chimichanga, and both were absolutely out of this world. The Al Pastor was bursting with that perfect mix of smoky, sweet, and spicy — every bite had tender, flavorful meat wrapped in a warm tortilla that held together beautifully. The Chimichanga came out golden and crispy, with that melty, cheesy inside that makes you feel like you just found comfort food perfection. But the real show-stopper? The Birria Tacos. Easily the best I’ve ever had — juicy, tender meat, perfectly crisp tortillas, and that rich consommé that you could honestly drink by itself. They’ve mastered that balance of authentic flavor and mouth-watering presentation that keeps you craving more even when you’re full. The service made everything even better. Pablo was an absolute rockstar — attentive without hovering, friendly, and genuinely passionate about making sure everything was perfect. You could tell he truly cares about the guest experience. And Idalmis, was just the sweetest — she welcomed us with a smile that set the tone for the whole visit and made us feel like regulars even though it was our first time. You can tell there’s heart behind this place — from the kitchen to the front of house. I left full, happy, and already planning my next visit. Get a taste of Mexico for real . We had a great lunch at Auténtica Taquería. From the moment we walked in, Chef José, Alejandra, and the team made us feel welcome. The space is open and inviting, with decors that add a nice touch to the atmosphere. The food really stood out. The tacos and burrito were packed with flavor. The special flour tortilla burrito came filled with rice, refried beans, mozzarella, and pico de gallo. Simple authentic ingredients done really well. We also tried the Jamaica and Horchata, and both were surprisingly good refreshing and delicious. Our server, Pablo, was fantastic. You could tell he took pride in the food and wanted us to enjoy every bite. The whole staff was friendly and attentive, and the vibe of the place felt happy and celebratory. Everything we tasted was delicious. Definitely a restaurant worth visiting if you’re in Kendall.

Ordered shrimp tacos, chicken tacos, and quesadillas. See below pictures. I have included the pictures from their online meñu and what we received. Also, they charged $3 for what appeared to be a tablespoon of sour cream (picture attached as well).

It was our first time here and honestly worth it. The tacos al pastor were delicious. My husband ordered birria tacos which he loved. We ordered guacamole and chips and the kids loved it tomatoes and all. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for authentic Mexican food! Our server Angel was super helpful and always made sure we had everything we needed

Food was so delicious, if you're in Miami I recommend this place. Service was excellent and our Server was very nice and polite. We are here for the Dolphins game and it was our first travel experience to Miami. If we were longer I would explore more. But I'm sure we will be back again. My husband is a Dolphin fan. I sure will come back to Autentica Taqueria. Will see you again.

This is not our first time there, but today was not good. First of all the food was only okay. Boring. The service was terrible. My husband picked up our order asked if everything was in the bag, specifically asked about paleta and when he got home it wasn't there.

Omg I'm obsessed with This place. It's hard to find delicious Mexican food, but this place is legit. A must have is their fish burrito. I don't know how they season it, but it is phenomenal! Their whole menu is on point. This spot is perfect for family outings, and the service is great! Everyone is so friendly. I can't wait to go back !

Great fresh food, from the dip all the way to the churros. The ambiance feels cozy and like home. Service from my server was spectacular, not pushing an upsell but really telling me what's good on their menu. He guided me through my 3 courses, I'm a big dessert guy and I wanted a big dessert but he recommended a lighter option so I don't leave too full. Mel was the server !!

A great Mexican hole-in-the-wall hidden in the middle of the hammocks in Kendall West. The Birria Tacos were so delicious that I ordered extra. The extra sauces along with the dipping consumé was very delicious and flavorful. Excellent service as well.

I absolutely LOVE Auténtica Taqueria. It is a mom and pop shop that absolutely caters to the community. Amazing food, amazing service and even better pricing. You can't BEAT the flavor and everything that you'll get when you dine in or get food for take out. This has become a place I eat weekly at! I love the space as well. Cute little spot with a lot of flavor and personality.

This was our first time here. We were in the neighborhood and found this little spot on yelp. We started out with guacamole and chips($9), hibiscus water ($5)and a Mexican coke($5). The serving for the guacamole was small but it was really creamy and flavorful.The drinks were also good. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with green sauce ($16) and hubby ordered the chicken fajitas($18). My food was delicious! The green sauce had a kick and the chicken was seasoned nicely.My husband didn't care for the tortillas and the chicken portion to veggies were small.The prices were a bit high for a small place for lunch but I would come back. The food tasted authentic and the service was fantastic. The young girl was very nice and friendly.

First time visiting. We came for the Latin Restaurant week. This rest is family owned and operated. The second you walk in you feel it. Is it glamorous? No, fancy? Nope but the food is the closest thing to authentic with Mexican flavors. We had chicken burrito, chicken fajitas, flautas and carnitas dish. The dipping sauces and the tortillas are homemade and deliciously fresh. One of the best horchatas I've had too! We gotta go back to try their tacos, quesadillas, sopes and more!

This is definitely one of Kendall's best Mexican Restaurants! Everything tastes fresh especially their tortillas and proteins! Their service is outstanding! The decor is super cute which you'll want to take photos for Instagram.

I just ordered take out from this place and it was really good. Also I ordered right before closing time so I appreciate them taking my order even tho they were about to close. We had the cochinita pibil burritos and they were honestly pretty good. Would definitely order again!

This place never disappoints! Please visit this little hole in the wall if you are ever craving Mexican food. They have live music on the weekends as well, and the owner comes out and greets you like family. The proportions are great. Sides and sauces are on point as well. I would recommend the Autentica Charola Mexicana if you aren't sure what you want. It has a little bit of everything, and its definitely meant to be shared with another person.

I always feel guilty writing negative reviews but I feel like this restaurant is grossly misrepresented on Yelp. Chips were stale, I'm almost positive the "queso" was Tostitos jarred cheese (just a cold orange blob), the chicken in my fajitas was mostly gristle, and when I asked for some sour cream and lettuce to go with my fajitas I was served mayo and salsa. The horchata was good but tasted like store bought mix, the homemade tortillas were also good. We were the only table in the restaurant, our server never checked on us other than when we'd flag him over. When we received the check, the suggested gratuity is 20, 30, and 40%. Makes me wonder if they're paying their servers at all. I believe in always tipping 20% (even if the service is subpar) but 30, 40%?!

Best horchata in Miami most "Mexican" restaurants around here are mid but this one is best overall. I always try the horchata first to see if they're authentic and it's fire. Their food is always amazing and as a Mexican I approve

I would give this a 4.5 if possible. I really enjoy the tacos, and posole, and my son enjoyed his burrito but it is spendy. Service was great, attentive and kind. Made sure our order came out just as we ordered it. Love the decor and it's clean. The posole will 100% keep me coming despite cost.

Came here with high hopes but could definitely improve. Although the birria broth had good flavor, the birria quesadillas had little meat and what they had was in large part fat. Guacamole was OK but just avocado (no tomatoes, onions). On the positive side, if you like cheese, you will appreciate the amount they put. Both the birria quesadillas and chimichanga had good amounts. Restaurant has good AC if it's a hot day.

Second time here. The food was delicious. The service was great. The sauces are the perfect touch to everything. I ate the chicken fajitas. It was very flavorful. Only complaint is that it doesn't come with lettuce, cheese and tomatoes on the side. Still very good. On the weekends they have live music at night. It's great if you like that kind of thing. It's a lady on a stage singing songs. Kind of like karaoke-ish but she has a good voice. Overall good food will be coming back for more.

I ordered chicken fajitas which comes with refried beans and rice. The fajitas were ok, the refried beans were mushy, tasteless as well as the rice. This is an $18 dish which they serve with no sour cream, no guacamole or even chips. The tortillas were only 3, and one of them was burnt, I only noticed when I got home. This was my first and last time at this restaurant.

I have been a fan of this taco joint for years. The service was top notch, and the food had its flavor. Its pains me to say they lost my business. Today I visited and the service was poor to pathetic. The waiter was too busy trying to be cute and sassy. Pablo stick to better and faster service. The service was like this: No plates, no utensils, please bring my guca and chips before my meal. May I get more ice in my glasses. I need napkins. May I get sauces and condiments for our flavorless food. The mixed Fajitas steak was very chewy and of lower grade then before. The shrimps were 3 and quite small. The Shrimp burrito was below average. Chasing Pablo for all things and the STUPID annoying sounds coming from the Margarita machine was so loud. So instead of fixing the problem, let's just turn up the music louder to cover the ANNOYING noise. When I ask Pablo about it, he acted like I was crazy..... NEVER AGAIN. Piss poor service and below average food quality and flavor. I tried to believe it wasn't so, maybe an off day or anomaly. NO, it's bad. Sorry, no more going back. Hence this review. I vote with my dollars. I gave this review to see if someone from there reads it and revives this once great business. If they don't, no matter what other things (Live Music/Ice Cream Parlor) they try to add to the business it's going to be Adios.

So I thought I had the best tacos in Miami.. till I tried Auténtica Taqueria! Everything is made fresh to order and service was delightful and super friendly and attentive. My boyfriend and I we ordered the Taco Platter which brings 12 tacos with all types of meats such as steak, al pastor, pork, chicken, fish, etc. Comes with pico de Gallo, guacamole, onions, and two types of sauces. The staff were following all covid guidelines and there was hand sanitizer at the entrance and at the tables. This was the first time I been here and I am now in love with it! I cannot wait to return soon.

Looking for a New Mexican place and following Yelp's reviews we tried this restaurant. When we arrived there was just one table occupied. It has a Mexican themed look to it. Waiter was friendly and efficient. Started with a beer and a Coke. Ordered some guacamole and chips, the chips looked and tasted like store bought. The guacamole was bland at best. My wife ordered a chicken chimichanga which she found well prepared and tasty. I had the mixed alambre, a fajitas like dish made with beef, pork and Mexican chorizo. I've had this dish before at other places and this did not seem like it. The different meats were indistinguishable from each other. Very little onions and peppers. Not satisfying. Don't think I'll be back.

Decided to check out Auténtica Taqueria for a little family dinner. I had seen pictures of this restaurant & heard some good things, but hadn't stopped in until today & just WOW. When you walk in the atmosphere is cozy. Dimmed lights with Mexican decorations all around. The kitchen is open so you can see into it. I loved the top of the line service. We didn't have 1 waiter we had 3. Constantly making sure we had all we needed. Then there was the food & it was delicious ! So fresh & yummy ! Besides the presentation being great, too. Saucy, cheesy, & full of flavor. I had the chimichanga which was just perfection. Crispy crunchy outside with a flavorful Al pastor inside. I added sauce & cheese which was the perfect touch. It was all I wanted in my meal. My whole family was extremely satisfied & needless to say we will definitely be coming by again!

The name is no lie, awesome authentic Mexican food restaurant. I live in Dallas, and this place goes toe to toe with best taco spots in Texas, maybe even better. Queso Birria beef tacos were awesome, and the dipping sauce super tasty. All the sauces, jugos naturales, and everything are made in house. I will definitely be back any time i'm in town to visit!

First red flag should have been there was no one in the restaurant. Second red flag should have been the chips were cold and stale. Third red flag was when I saw ONE tostada was 7.50$. The choriqueso was Taco Bell meat. I had Taco Bell last nights, wasn't in the mood for it again... they tried to cover the taste of the food with playing Mexican music but that didn't fool me. If you know anything about Mexican food save your money and time. The floutas are taquitos from Walmart fyi. #badeats
