How Formula One Became the Sport to Travel For

"The Mexico City GP is unique, often coinciding with Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), resulting in colorful decorations and traditional celebrations. Beyond the race, the city offers thriving street food, world-class restaurants, and deep cultural heritage."

This was our first time visiting the Autódromo race track in Mexico City and it really surprised us with how easy it was to get to and how well organized the event for the three day F1 weekend was. Lots of personnel to help direct people in and out of the event and lots of police and security to ensure you were safe and coordinated. Outside of the facility there are lots of vendors for food and clothing adding to the amazing color and vibrancy that is Mexico. Inside the facility was clean and organized and well marked making getting around to the various grandstands really easy. This was our first time visiting but it will not be our last. We had a blast and loved every minute of our time here in Mexico.

One of the coolest stadiums I have been too. Went for Mexico City F1 GP 2025 and worth every penny. Some considerations before going, it gets hot. Sat in Section 15 and was right under the sun for a few hours. The shade comes in later but you might be unlucky and not get any. There js a lot of people attending so make sure you know your gate as there are specific walkways for each section. Highly recommend to take the metro as traffic around the stadium does not move. Food and drinks are priced okay but buy your F1 merchandise before going as it is pricey inside the stadium. Will be going again.

What a great 3 days for the Mexico GP, free water refill as it is hot hot hot, no shade in the stands on the start straight. Also once you are in your designated zone there is no access to other parts of the track. Like where the interviews are held and chance to get pics and autographs. But they put on Djs in a tent area and plenty of food trucks.

The Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez is an iconic spot, especially as the home of the F1 Mexican Grand Prix. The circuit has a vibrant atmosphere and is famous for its high-altitude challenge, which truly impacts the race. It's a must-visit for racing fans and a great place to experience the excitement of motorsport.

We came for the F1. It was a nice venue, plenty of facilities and nice people. We walked form the Centre of Mexico City to the track and it was a big old walk but OK. Uber was also very easy and super cheap to get there.

Awesome weekend for F1! There was Tons to do. Lots of merchandise tents, but Checo gear sells out early! Very Passionate fans. You should Definitely double check the gate opening times. I showed up too early (same time I do at other circuits) and had to wait an hour. Some of the seating and hospitality areas don’t open until 1-2 hours after the gates open, so plan accordingly based on your tickets!

Yelp
It was our first time visiting, and we had a wonderful experience. Getting in and out of the Autódromo was easy. This was by far the best Formula 1 experience we've had. The food selection was excellent, and despite the large crowds, the lines for food weren't too bad. If you have the chance to visit this stadium, I highly recommend it--it's one of the best experiences I've ever had.

Yelp
Cool place to host a massive, 300,000 person music event like EDC Mexico in all its glory. Compared to EDC Vegas, I actually prefer the chaos here if you get the Plus Enhanced Experience Pass over the GA. I'll have a few pros and cons listed when compared to EDC Vegas as the closest comparison below: Pros: -Cheaper, EDC Mexico's VIP (Plus Pass) was as low as $230 USD compared to Vegas's $750+ USD for VIP -Transport: Metro costs 5 pesos, and ubering back costs no more than $40 USD even during 3x surge. Compared to EDC Vegas's $100+ for ubering back to the strip -Food and alcohol is cheaper too. Cost is typically half of what you pay in festivals in the states. -Bunch of unofficial merchandise sellers before the door. This is Mexico though, anytime there's a big event they are always there. Some have great deals and you are supporting the local community. -February in CDMX tends to be warm so no need to dress for cold weather like in Vegas in May. Cons: -Language barrier. I would go with a spanish speaker for the best experience but it's not necessary. -Official merch doesn't even include EDC Mexico or references to Mexico for some reason. Rather go unofficial for the cheaper and more supportive option to the community. -Taxis are a huge ripoff. Don't take them. One friend in my group got scammed $1200 USD and had to get that reversed because she gave her visa for some reason. No need for that, just call an Uber for a way cheaper option. The venue itself is huge but they have slightly fewer stages than EDC Vegas. However, overall it's still a fantastic experience when visiting. Tons of positive experiences throughout all 3 days. 10/10 would visit again.

Yelp
