The best destinations for experiencing the Formula 1 Grand Prix

"Known as the ‘Temple of Speed’ and closely associated with Ferrari, this historic circuit combines long straights, tight chicanes and extremely high speeds; it’s famed for record-breaking runs and its passionate fan culture." - Gayatri Bhaumik

Google
Interesting historical circuit. Did the track experience and the van was driven round the track with more enthusiasm than expected (not a negative for me, but worth noting for anyone who has motion issues). Also did the tour which took about an hour and showed you a lot of the behind the scenes areas.

Very nice place! We went to an racing event and car show, beautiful cars, and you get to see some cars racing in the circuit, the event is until Sunday; you can ride a Tesla too. You can park outside and parking is free or inside to the track and is 20 euros.

Great experience with my family, visiting the temple of speed and had a tour through the paddock. The parabolica can also be visited, by foot or by bicycle. I parked outside, before entering gate 3. There is a free parking space and was not crowded on a wednesday.

Great tour of Monza. We did the track experience as well. I thought it was worth it. Just realized how tight the turns are. We had to wait a little because of an accident on the track before us. Fortunately no one was hurt.

The tour and track ride-along were a super value. With everything being in Italian, it was a bit difficult to know exactly where and when to be there. It looked to us like it started at 9am. That's actually when things start to open up. The dirty tour started at 10am. To get there you need to go the the inside of the track (driving or walking under the track through the tunnel to the south of the grandstand), following the street until you get to the Fangio statue. It's a great park for a walk beyond just the tour. the grandstands are open to the public if you want to watch the track experience cars make their way around. You can even try to climb the old Monza Oval if you like.

Google
Free to walk around the track but if you want to walk on the track itself, they sell tours at their office (near the paddock). Recommend to book online as sometimes they have other events on track and don't hold the tours. It was a quiet & scenic walk for us on a Saturday afternoon. They have a free water point as well!

You can gain access to watch the track. We saw some cars driving! Can also book to drive yourself. We did go karting, was really nice and outside!

The temple of speed, what else is there to say. Went for a GT3 racce and the atmosphere was awesome. Tons of parking and everything was super efficient.

Yelp
Went for the 2022 Formula One and was really looking forward to it. Expected higher transportation prices but expected decent transportation. Shuttles from a couple of parking lots were available and a direct line from Milano was set up, but...all the drop offs were miles away from the entrances. If you're handicapped or disabled, do not go, there are no accommodations or access assistance. Crowds of hundreds that formed were funneled into dangerous lines. People were cutting and none of the staff seemed to care. Staff was young and friendly but did not know enough to help with directions or where different venues were. Ambulance and police services were great. It's a wonderful experience but be prepared. Logistically, I think, it was very bad. Forza Ferrari!

Yelp
A fantastic Motorsport park, nestled in the woods just north of Milan. If you ever get a chance to make it out to a European F1 race here you will not be disappointed. There are many, many local F1 fans, supporting one of the major local car manufacturers, yep, you guessed it... Ferrari! It was electrifying watching the locals cheer on their "home team" and to watch the red smoke fly with all the waving red Ferrari flags. There is lots to do at the track, from all the racing and shopping, to Porsche hospitality, paddock and the grandstands! So cool!

Yelp
Ok, ok I know, I know, how does one not give this racing mecca a 5 star? Here we go... During my trip to Milan I found out I was only 30 minutes out from Monza so I knew I had to swing by the Monza race track. I checked the website to see if there was anything going on and there were no races but on certain days they opened up and had packages were you could take out some vehicles. They didn't have any set days when I checked so I decided to give it a shot and go. From the city core you can take a bus pas to the track and it takes 30 minutes. You can also take a cab. I took a bus down and it takes you close to the track but you still have to walk through a suburb to get there. When I arrived at the gates there was nobody there...I looked around and the security guy was looking taking a leak. When he came back he sold me a ticket and unfortunately for me I didn't have exact change...so he gave me change...with the ticket...without washing his hands after taking a leak. GREAT! Another 5 minute walk and I was onto the track. I checked with someone and they weren't doing any bike or car packages today. BUMMED!!! I started to walk around the track and it's fenced in on a closed day. I decided to go sit in the grand stands. Upon walking up my first set of grand stands I hear a man greet me. I look over and see an extremely overweight, old man in only a speedo just catching some sun. Not a pretty site! I walked around to see what else I could access but most of the track was shut down. I wish they did guided tours or at least opened up a path around the whole track. I checked with someone working and they were not allowed to let us on the track which sucked. It's a beautiful track but locking it down on days when there are no races and when they don't have instructors to take someone driving on the track sucks for visitors. NOTE: There are CLEAN washrooms here in the grandstands. For visitors you know what this means!

Yelp
I'm only rating the closed old high bank part of the circuit, because I didn't go inside the 'new' circuit. But even if the new circuit was a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, the old banking would rate the whole as 5 stars... it really is that amazing. The other english review is sad to read because I don't think that person realized that the closed section of the track is in a public park, free to explore and just plain fascinating. The high banks were built in 1954, extreme 'parabolic' banking that is up to 45 degrees at the top. You literally cannot climb up to the top without hanging on. Cars were going 190 mph here in the 1950s! Racing on the oval only lasted 4 years because it was so dangerous. Google 'Race of Two Worlds' for info about the last race at the oval, it was a lot of American Indy Car racers. There aren't any signs to the banking really... so look at a map before you go because the forest is slowly reclaiming the area. You can feel the ghosts here and imagine what it must have been like... can't miss.

Yelp
Attended the F1 races and qualifying this year and had a great time. The ticket provider had great communication and although they cannot guarantee exact seating location, we got exactly what we requested and were directly above P1 and P2 grid positions. We had a very nice walk in through the forest to our grandstand location. Yes, there was some rain and resulting mud, and fairly long lines for food and restrooms, but if you are a fan of motorsports this should not be a surprise I would think. The fan enthusiasm is fantastic. My most useful suggestion would be that if you are staying in Milan you take a taxi from Milan to your gate at the track. Taxis have special access lanes and will generally get you there and back fairly quickly. The first day we took a train and then attempted to take a bus and both were packed to overflowing. We never could get on a bus and our ticket class was meaningless on the train, even though we arrived a half hour early we still had to stand. First trip on qualifying day took over two hours! If you are a single guy going and need to save money then go for the train and bus, but allow at least 3 hours each way to avoid missing the track action. If you are there with your spouse please spend the $60 to $90 each way for a taxi, it is well worth it. On top of that the bus stop, and train drop off locations have a bunch of unsavory characters hanging out. The food and beer "court" (or whatever it is called) was a great place to hang out between track activity, with plenty of picnic bench seating and great place to meet random fans from around the world.

Yelp
Attended the Formula1 Italian Grand Prix twice now and loved every minute of it. Camp site is just one big party, the old Monza track in the centre of the circuit is truly unbelieveable and the locals are great craic. Especially recommend camping by the track in the woods the night before the actual race, we heard of the place by accident and after an hour of stumbling around in the dark the trees revealed a clearing full of oil drum fires and people relaxing and talking F1. Made some friends for life and had some unforgettable experiences.
