"Borscht, pierogi, and huge portions of stew, goulash, and schnitzel are available from Polish restaurant, Autograf, just off Green Lanes. Order here or call them directly on 020 8889 2999 if you’re slightly out of delivery range." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak
"Green Lanes spot Autograf has a dish on their menu simply called ‘plate size schnitzel’. If that doesn’t say ‘hello leftovers’ to you, then nothing will. This classic Polish spot are also delivering a range of dumplings, red borscht with ravioli, potato pancakes, and a big mixed platter of some of their most popular dishes. Get some of the bread for peak dipping potential too." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing
"It feels remiss to comment on booze first and foremost at a restaurant, but the frosty pints of pilsner being poured into tankard glasses at Autograf are wonderful things. Even better is when you pair them with a plate of pierogi, goulash, or schnitzel. The corridor-like Polish restaurant is an expert in homely fare and swinging by for a plate of steamed potato, cheese, and onion pierogi is an excellent after-work idea. Particularly given the vodka bar. Heads up, it’s cash-only." - jake missing
"Mixed pierogies - £6 Autograf’s assorted traditional pierogies, are basically slippers for the soul in XL dumpling form. Topped with caramelised onion, the chicken is our personal favourite, but the potato and cottage cheese deserve a special shout out too. They’re super comforting and an excellent way to spend six quid.”" - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak
