"Old guard cheese shops can feel austere. Not the case at Aux Fromages de Nation, where the two young founders make cheese ultra-approachable. They earmark their regularly changing coup de coeur (favorite) with a special badge to guide you towards the moment’s must-haves. These join punny house creations like Brit'Ney, a Brie stuffed in-house with chutney and hazelnuts, or ghoulish goat cheese with the Scream mask recreated in chile powder. Since they firmly believe beer pairs better with cheese than wine, there’s a wall of craft brews from Paris and beyond, and regular pop-up tastings with local craft brewers." - Emily Monaco

Such an exquisite little place with a delicious range of cheeses and knowledgeable owners. I was fortunate to stumble on the shop when visiting friends in Paris. Highly recommend!

I called here because of the 5 star reviews. They did not disappoint. Speak excellent English, very friendly, made recommendations, gave samples and had patience with me (I couldn’t decide!). They vacuum packed it up and I’m going home with lots of glorious CHEESE!

My friend and I stayed in the area while visiting Paris and the owner of the shop we so kind and extremely helpful!! She helped us pick out an assortment of cheeses and wine while we stayed in the area. It was the best cheese I’ve ever had and I hope that I’m able to come back one day!! Please take some time to stop by. (P.s. the owner speaks perfect English)
