Ava was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made us feel incredibly welcome. A special shout-out goes to our waiter, Trevor, and his wonderful team. They went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time. Their attentive service and genuine enthusiasm really turned the evening into a memorable experience. The ambiance was just as delightful as the service, and the entire dining experience felt like a breath of fresh air in the Miami restaurant scene. It’s a place we’ll definitely be recommending to friends and returning to ourselves. Kudos to Ava for bringing something so special to the area. Five stars all the way!

But what truly made the night unforgettable was the exceptional service. Antonella, Jasmin, and Alec were outstanding from start to finish. Warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, they anticipated every need without ever being intrusive. Their recommendations were spot-on, and their kindness elevated the entire evening. I also want to give a very special thank-you to Dilan, one of the managers, who went above and beyond to make sure we got a table. His professionalism, graciousness, and willingness to help made all the difference. We felt genuinely taken care of. It’s rare to find a place that combines great food with such heartfelt hospitality. Ava has become one of my favorite spots, and I will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

I’m so beyond excited for this new location! The ambiance and vibes are unmatched - nothing like it in the Grove. All my friends said they didn’t feel like they were in Miami (in the best way). I’m still dreaming about the octopus and the branzino. The mushrooms were also excellent. Definitely a must visit.

AVA absolutely blew us away! We came to celebrate our 17-year anniversary and left feeling like we had experienced something truly unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, the service, ambiance, and energy were all on another level. The menu is outstanding—every dish is crafted with so much care and flavor. The lamb was cooked to perfection, tender and beautifully seasoned, and the sea bass was one of the best we’ve ever had—silky, fresh, and bursting with flavor. Every bite felt intentional and elevated. Our waitress, Laura, deserves special recognition. She guided us through the menu like a true professional, and every single recommendation she made was spot on. Her warmth, attention, and genuine excitement for the food made the night even more special. We truly felt taken care of. At the bar, Cameron mixed some of the most phenomenal drinks we’ve ever tasted. Balanced, creative, and crafted with such skill—you can tell he’s a master at what he does. Definitely worth stopping by the bar just for his cocktails alone. And to top it off, Michael, the GM, stopped by our table to congratulate us and make sure everything was perfect. That personal touch made the experience feel even more memorable. AVA made our 17-year anniversary extraordinary. You're in the grove. Seriously. When locals walk to your restaurant to try it out for the first time, neatly dressed, you should not turn them away when one in a party of four has on flip flops. Folks like me, who have been living here for the last 25 years, stay local because we don't like pretense and snobbery. When I want condescension and assholes with no money who want to pretend they're someone, I go to Brickell. When I want a nice night out with my family in an accepting and relaxed enclave the rest of the world hasn't found, I stay home and eat in the Grove. Tell me that you're happy to see me but you'd love me in closed-toed shoes and you'll see me back, maybe regularly. Tell me I'm not welcome and I will certainly never consider coming back. Good luck making your living on tourists.

A restaurant desperately trying to be a nightclub in the grove. The music was so loud we couldn't hear each other at our table. And the food was overpriced and mediocre.

WOW!!! The food is incredible! From the Mediteranean Sampler to the Branzino, to the chocolate soufle...WOW! plus the restaurant is beautiful and has a GREAT vibe! Until next time Ava!

We were coming from the Villages Holiday House Tour and decided to check out the new restaurant AVA in the Aria Hotel in Coconut Grove. The hostess outside at the entrance looked us up and down and said they had a dress code and didn't let us in. So much for hospitality and welcoming locals.

Ruben was outstanding!!! provided A++++ service.. the food that he recommended was over the top, especially the Seabass
