I absolutely loved AVA MediterrAegean Coconut Grove. I’ve also been to AVA MediterrAegean Orlando, and this brand is consistently good. The food is fresh, made with high-quality ingredients, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality in every dish. The service is very friendly and attentive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. And the space itself is stunning — elegant, vibrant, and perfect for a special night out. AVA never disappoints. Definitely one of my favourites.

AVA MediterrAegean in Coconut Grove was an amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful — it truly feels like a Mediterranean escape right in Miami. The décor, lighting, and energy create the perfect vibe for a special night out. The food was outstanding. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients. The presentation was just as impressive as the taste. Every dish we ordered was delicious and well balanced. The service was equally impressive. Our waiter Jonathan Rodriguez was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome the entire time. He was knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. Overall, AVA exceeded expectations. Great food, beautiful ambiance, and excellent service — we’ll definitely be back!

We went for brunch on a Sunday. We were seated immediately upon arrival, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent for the first 30 minutes. After that, no one paid attention to us. We ordered dessert, and it arrived two hours later, and it wasn't even what we ordered. The waitress disappeared, and they charged us for items we didn't order. The service was terrible. They just opened in Miami, and I hope they improve their service to match the quality of their food, which is wonderful.

Ava has done and incredible job of remodeling the restaurant space. The ambiance inside or outside (we sat outside) was truly incredible. Service was perfect even with shadow servers training. Service makes a difference and they surpassed expectations. The food was delicious…the fried zucchini (not big on fried foods) was light, thin and cooked perfectly. We opted for the lamb cops and salmon. Quality, flavorful and beautiful presentation. Going back for the salt crusted baked Branzino next week. We loved our experience.

Ava is a true gem in Coconut Grove. The interior is very cozy and stylish, with lounge music that creates a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. The service was exceptional - special thanks to Laura, who made the evening feel truly personalized and welcoming. The food was outstanding: perfectly cooked octopus, an indulgent black truffle pizza, and an impressive branzino baked in salt. We finished with a deliciously spicy baklava, which was a memorable surprise. All dishes were beautifully paired with excellent wines. A fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommended for a special evening or a relaxed fine-dining night in Miami.

We visited AVA Coconut Grove as a party of six to celebrate Valentine’s Day. While the atmosphere and food were great, our experience had some service issues. When we placed our order, we requested several dishes, including two orders of Sea Bass. About five minutes later, our server returned to inform us that the dish was unavailable. When we asked about other fish options, we were told that there were no fish options at all. As a result, we had to choose the Yellowtail at Market Price. When the food arrived, we did not have utensils on the table. Additionally, the guest who ordered the fish received their meal after everyone else had already finished eating. Unfortunately, no one came to apologize for this situation. When we spoke with both the manager and the server, they seemed surprised, showing a lack of communication in the service. It is important to mention that ALL THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. It is truly a shame that these service issues affected what could have been a perfect dining experience. What a shame !! We never come back again

AVA MediterrAegean is an absolute gem! The food was outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is stunning, with a chic Mediterranean vibe that makes the experience even more special. Huge shoutout to Ruben and Valentina for their exceptional service. They were attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome from start to finish. Highly recommend for an amazing dining experience. Can’t wait to come back!

Stopped by for Sunday brunch and loved it. We sat on the beautiful patio, surrounded by lush plants and softly filtered light—such a relaxing setting. They’ve done a fantastic job with the remodel. Brunch is prix fixe with three courses and several choices. Our waiter, Yand, was professional, attentive, and made the experience even better. For the first course we chose the hummus and the avocado toast—both were thoughtfully prepared and tasted great. For mains we had the Greek omelette and the eggs Benedict, and we were very happy with both. Dessert was gelato and baklava, and the baklava may have been the best I’ve ever had. We also browsed their seafood market while we were there and plan to come back for dinner to enjoy some fresh fish. Overall, a delightful brunch—highly recommend. You're in the grove. Seriously. When locals walk to your restaurant to try it out for the first time, neatly dressed, you should not turn them away when one in a party of four has on flip flops. Folks like me, who have been living here for the last 25 years, stay local because we don't like pretense and snobbery. When I want condescension and assholes with no money who want to pretend they're someone, I go to Brickell. When I want a nice night out with my family in an accepting and relaxed enclave the rest of the world hasn't found, I stay home and eat in the Grove. Tell me that you're happy to see me but you'd love me in closed-toed shoes and you'll see me back, maybe regularly. Tell me I'm not welcome and I will certainly never consider coming back. Good luck making your living on tourists.

A restaurant desperately trying to be a nightclub in the grove. The music was so loud we couldn't hear each other at our table. And the food was overpriced and mediocre.

WOW!!! The food is incredible! From the Mediteranean Sampler to the Branzino, to the chocolate soufle...WOW! plus the restaurant is beautiful and has a GREAT vibe! Until next time Ava!

We were coming from the Villages Holiday House Tour and decided to check out the new restaurant AVA in the Aria Hotel in Coconut Grove. The hostess outside at the entrance looked us up and down and said they had a dress code and didn't let us in. So much for hospitality and welcoming locals.

Ruben was outstanding!!! provided A++++ service.. the food that he recommended was over the top, especially the Seabass
