Ava is a true gem in Coconut Grove. The interior is very cozy and stylish, with lounge music that creates a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. The service was exceptional - special thanks to Laura, who made the evening feel truly personalized and welcoming. The food was outstanding: perfectly cooked octopus, an indulgent black truffle pizza, and an impressive branzino baked in salt. We finished with a deliciously spicy baklava, which was a memorable surprise. All dishes were beautifully paired with excellent wines. A fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommended for a special evening or a relaxed fine-dining night in Miami.

Ava has done and incredible job of remodeling the restaurant space. The ambiance inside or outside (we sat outside) was truly incredible. Service was perfect even with shadow servers training. Service makes a difference and they surpassed expectations. The food was delicious…the fried zucchini (not big on fried foods) was light, thin and cooked perfectly. We opted for the lamb cops and salmon. Quality, flavorful and beautiful presentation. Going back for the salt crusted baked Branzino next week. We loved our experience.

Absolutely loved this place! The food was delicious, every dish full of flavor and perfectly done. The vibe is amazing, stylish, welcoming, and just the right energy. On top of that, the service was outstanding. Our waiter Kay was attentive, kind, and truly made the experience special. Can’t wait to come back!

Amazing new Mediterranean restaurant in the Grove. Beautifully redecorated from the old Peacock Cafe. Nice indoor and outdoor seating with bars. Food was delicious and being Mediterranean there were plenty of vegetarian options offered. Service was attentive without being pushy. Looking forward to going back.

The highlight of my experience here was Raul. That man should get a raise! If there was a book written on spectacular service, Raul would be the author. As for the food. For the price it was average. The food was all good to decent. The Greek dips were pretty underwhelming. The fish was good but it’s expensive so it should be good. Nice ambiance and interior design.

The restaurant itself is very beautiful, with a pleasant and stylish atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. Our waiter spent a lot of time standing and chatting near the bar instead of checking on our table, even though we had already finished our courses. We waited an unreasonably long time for our hot dishes to arrive. As for the food, it was very average — nothing special and definitely not worth the high prices. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations. Would I come back? No. The ambiance is nice, but the service and food do not justify the cost.

Restaurant for brunch is amazing. The ambiance, service, music, seating, decor —creates a relaxing and very luxurious feeling . Pricing is reasonable with a variety of options for many budgets. AVA did fantastic job with the space. Outdoor seating has overhead coverage if needs to be used for rain. I love the decor; modern, warm, lovely plants and love the curtains. Menus (beverages, wine, food) have a beautiful selection. The beverage menu has a helpful description of options; as well as a great intro of their mixology philosophy. Food presentations are lovely. Server Maria did a bread service with warm, homemade bread, and Maria, snipped fresh herbs into the olive oil. My husband ordered the prix fix ($45),; hummus and crispy flatbread. delicious. A burger and skinny fries. Amazing. And dessert. i ordered shashuka ($20). Perfectly prepared (I like my egg drippy); with toasts. All fantastic. For dessert (prix fix menu) hubby ordered coconut sorbet and raspberry sorbet. Perfect end to a well-received brunch. Maria provided excellent service and was welcoming, and answered questions we had with friendliness. All staff is friendly and seem happy to be here! what else? seating is super comfy with various options and cushions. WE WILL BE BACK!

You're in the grove. Seriously. When locals walk to your restaurant to try it out for the first time, neatly dressed, you should not turn them away when one in a party of four has on flip flops. Folks like me, who have been living here for the last 25 years, stay local because we don't like pretense and snobbery. When I want condescension and assholes with no money who want to pretend they're someone, I go to Brickell. When I want a nice night out with my family in an accepting and relaxed enclave the rest of the world hasn't found, I stay home and eat in the Grove. Tell me that you're happy to see me but you'd love me in closed-toed shoes and you'll see me back, maybe regularly. Tell me I'm not welcome and I will certainly never consider coming back. Good luck making your living on tourists.

A restaurant desperately trying to be a nightclub in the grove. The music was so loud we couldn't hear each other at our table. And the food was overpriced and mediocre.

WOW!!! The food is incredible! From the Mediteranean Sampler to the Branzino, to the chocolate soufle...WOW! plus the restaurant is beautiful and has a GREAT vibe! Until next time Ava!

We were coming from the Villages Holiday House Tour and decided to check out the new restaurant AVA in the Aria Hotel in Coconut Grove. The hostess outside at the entrance looked us up and down and said they had a dress code and didn't let us in. So much for hospitality and welcoming locals.

Ruben was outstanding!!! provided A++++ service.. the food that he recommended was over the top, especially the Seabass
