Avalon Resort & SPA

We had an amazing stay at this resort! The 3 heated swimming pools—two outdoor and one indoor—were perfect for all weather, and the indoor pool area with sauna and relaxation zone was a real treat. The go-kart track was a hit with the whole family and added an unexpected layer of fun. Both on-site restaurants were excellent, offering delicious meals and great variety. What stood out the most was the staff—friendly, attentive, and even better than expected. Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway!

Good day, I want to share my experience of staying at this hotel. I was with my family with my little daughter and my wife. Regarding the accommodation, hotel, entertainment, communication, cleanliness, willingness, service, it was really very good. I praise it to the fullest. But as for the food, it was a disaster. The adult portions of food were like children's portions. The prices were overpriced and there was really little food. My adult portion was really small for my 3-year-old daughter. There was also a small selection of food. Basically, there was nothing to choose from. The taste was just the same... In other words, we were very disappointed with the food. I think that for a 5-star hotel, it is a complete disappointment. The food there is a horror and thanks to that, we will not go there again. Not for the hotel, the service, everything is okay. Really, once again, very nice, clean, pleasant and fun accommodation. Everything had its charm, but the food is zero points. I am not saying that it was not tasty, it is not, but there was very little music for a lot of money and because of that. We won't go back there... sorry for my English language

The hotel is beautiful, in the middle of nature and with many recreational options: saunas - some of the best I've been to, heated pool, jacuzzi. We also found welcoming people: Kinga helped us with all the problems and his attitude was very pleasant towards us. Also, the hotel manager was a very nice man and the conversation with him was constructive and he listened to us on all the problems. The restaurant manager was also very nice and we thank him for his understanding. Cons: the staff in the rest of the listed ones is terrible. We argued with a waiter because we asked him 2 times specifically to bring us the food without pork and they brought it with pork. His attitude was totally inappropriate for a waiter at a 5* hotel. No one explains how half-boarding works and it is unclear, especially since not everyone at the restaurant speaks English. We found hair in the bed - on the sheet and pillow on the first night. We changed rooms: hair there too. The receptionist brought us 10 sheets and there was hair on all of them - sheets unrolled in her presence. we received cold food at the restaurant. we discussed all the problems with the hotel manager and we appreciated the willingness to listen to us and the constructive discussion. We are confident that the problems are being corrected and we hope to return in a changed environment, because the hotel has immense potential.

The hotel, its facilities and the surrounding is marvellous, however we had a rather unfortunate experience with some of the services. First of all, we were woken up by housekeeping at 08am and were asked if we needed anything. Not knowing that they would never show up again, I told them we had everything. This meant that during the whole stay, our wet towels were not replaced, our coffee cups were not cleaned up and eventually we ran out of toilet paper and had to go to the reception in the middle of the night to ask additional rolls. I did raise this during check-out as this cannot happen in a 5 star hotel. The restaurants are mediocre (we tried both), the food is good but definitely not outstanding, the service again was not up to standards. We felt rushed by the staff and they forgot our orders (twice) and they had to be reminded. The BBQ ribs in The Club were inedible fatty.

From the moment we entered the hotel grounds, we knew we had chosen the right place to relax. The hotel offers beautiful houses with an amazing design, which are a real treat for the eyes. We were particularly charmed by the bathroom with a combination of golden elements that gave the space a luxurious touch. Our room was always perfectly cleaned, which significantly contributed to the overall well-being of our stay. The food was great and we had a great time. In the morning, a perfect breakfast awaited us, which we enjoyed to our heart's content. The restaurant staff was nice and professional, which only added to the positive impression. I must commend the entire hotel staff who were always helpful and helpful. Like any hotel, this one has a little room for improvement. At night, we were disturbed by the lights on the switches, which disturbed our sleep a little. During the massage, we were surprised by techno music, which did not fit the very relaxing atmosphere. Quiet, relaxing music would be more appropriate. But it was great to go to the pool. This hotel is proof that luxury, comfort and excellent service can go hand in hand to guarantee an unforgettable stay. Hats off to the hotel staff, I hope their work is well appreciated. Thank you

We loved this place! Stayed in a Forest Design room. This area is in a quiet location next to the forest. We had a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and cocktail bar all exclusive to the forest design area which consists of 15 rooms. The restaurants were great and the breakfasts had a fantastic choice. Staff were brilliant and everyone spoke very good English. I'm registered disabled, therefore, the parking garage was free of charge. We were totally relaxed here. We would definitely come back!

Amazing experience, I went with my daughter who is 9 and we both had an amazing time. I loved the fact they cater to all ages as not many spa hotels do to such an extent. From the beautiful hotel decor, the friendly and attentive staff, different spa facilities, soft play and go-karting we could not get enough. I will definitely be going back.

I can honestly say that Avalon Resort is our favorite spa hotel in Hungary.
