Avalon Ristorante

I was in Miskolc and I visited Avalon and the atmosphere was very good and warm, however, I did not fully enjoy my time there. The beginning of the visit was quite positive, especially the fact that the waiter spoke English, which was quite convenient for nevertheless, us. When one of us spoke Hungarian, I was completely left on my own for the rest of the service. This change in service felt very unprofessional and quite disappointing. Also, it took over an hour to get the food which I considered very long than I expected. Despite being informed that there were many people in the restaurant, I have seen other restaurants to be more busy with efficient service and short waiting times. It was also frustrating to see other tables who came in after us are being served their food and we were not informed about the delay. When the food was finally brought to the table it was not that good, at least not as good as it could have been. Having heard a lot about this place and having to pay a 15% service charge, I expected much better food and service. We came out of the restaurant feeling quite disappointed, which is rather frustrating, given how the event started. I only hope that Avalon can step up their game in terms of the service and the overall consistency because it has a lot of possibilities to be a great restaurant.

Ok, the breakfast is 6stars. If you choose only breakfast, then ok. If you don't chose breakfast, do it. But the other meals were quite in contrast as if a fine dining chef would prepare breakfast, go home and another, less motivated and definitely less experienced kitchen staff would take over. That's why I DO only have pictures of the breakfast.

Amazing food, nice service, friendly staff, and great hospitality in a cozy environment. It is the hotel's restaurant but you can also book a table if you are not staying there. I wish the dessert selection would be wider, as the ones we tasted were world-class, and you can not have enough of that :-)

The restaurant is located is a beautiful resort that you can also do vacations here It is a very nice restaurant overall, nice place to hangout with friends,we came here for dinner as a group of four. They do have English menu I ordered tomato soup and breaded fried chicken , food meet the standard . They also have a in house DJ playing music all night, good and loud

One of the top breakfast ever. Resort fine, rooms clean and comfortable. Combination L'occitane and Nescafe in room.

One of the best restaurant in Hungary. Italian style, best food, best service. Cozy atmosphere.

Perfect family place, beautiful area. Go-cart, playground, restaurant... If you want to stay for night there is a spa hotel and they also have log cabins.

Very good restaurant. I was really surprised about staff positive attitude and effort they did to prepare to guest amazing experience, which was coming hand in hand with delicious meals served... I got pasta, penne arrabiata and I really enjoyed the taste of the meal. I want to wish to keep good job the staff is doing.
