We went out to celebrate a joyous occasion and lucked up-it was Restaurant Week(s). Which limited our meat selection a bit but everything was delicious and seasoned well! The salad bar, had decent selections and did its job by filling us up far too quick. Wish I knew the lemonade recipe-we were non-alcoholic tonight. Great place for hungry young men with great appetites!! Staff was outstanding.

Overall great. It was a semi-welcoming experience. We were sat pretty promptly with a reservation ahead. Drink menu was very wide and flavorful. We ordered a wine and tropical drink. There was too much fruit and ice in the tropical drink so it was a little hard to drink through the straw. Salad bar had a nice selection. Wish that there were more greens and fruit options. There was no rice but rice was served at the table. Meats. We were asked about 5/6 Meats before the gauchos started coming around. We were presented with rice, potatoes and plantains before the Meats arrived. The Meats were cooked wonderfully. We weren't the biggest fan of the salmon and did not true shrimp due to an allergy but the Meats were cooked as needed/asked. Our main server was a hit or miss bc she seemed like she was too invested with the larger party who spoke her native language. Overall, we had a great dinner and got to celebrate our anniversary.

We came here during Houston’s restaurant weeks, and were blown away! -The meat? No complaints. Super tasty and flavorful. -the sides/salad bar was great if you’re into that. We came just for the meat but we did have a few of the hot sides such as the beef empanadas and the Mac and cheese. All of which were fantastic! -the service was great! Our waiter cleared our table many times to ensure we had a clean experience. Beverages were always topped off so you never had to worry about that. And the people walking around with the meat were friendly and knowledgeable about what they had. Overall, we loved our experience here and will definitely be back!!

Brazilian BBQ near the Sugar Land area serving wonderful high quality meat with a decent salad bar. Meat movers must try this one. The atmosphere is very welcoming. We enjoyed our time here. Will certainly come again!

I’ll be honest, I’ve been here a few times, maybe even reviewed this before BUT if I haven’t, here it is again, I like this place! People here are always so nice, even when they were slammed for Valentine’s. My boyfriend took me here for dinner and they had a valentines special where drink, food, and dessert all included. Now the only thing is parking is tricky, they truly run out of spots so you might as well valet. Oh also! Please make reservations, it makes all the difference, we didn’t wait 5 minutes before they sat us down. It was truly an awesome time.

My family and I decided to come here for a Churrasco experience and they had the sizzling seven menu available which was seven selected meats for $37 per person. Unfortunately, they do not have any kids pricing so kids will be priced at the default $37 per person as well. Food quality was amazing and meats were all cooked pretty much perfectly and really high-quality. I frequent photo ciao many times and I do think that this place tops Fogo in terms of meat quality, and the salad bar. The salad bar also had many options of seafood, including Ahi tuna, salmon poke, smoked salmon, and smoked trout, and even a lobster bisque, which were really nice options to have a alongside my Brazilian barbecue. Service was quick and attentive, we didn't really have to wait long for needs to come around and if you had a request, they would bring it around ASAP. There were lots of parking available as well, and the ambience of the location was intimate, which I really enjoyed because Fogo tends to be very big which makes it slower for the meats to make its way around . I'm from Socal and we don't have this chain over there, so I'm hoping one day it can make its way over because I would definitely frequent this more than fogo!

I was treated to dinner by my friend Tri D. We made an early reservation on a Friday evening, but I don't think it was necessary. It wasn't terribly busy in the restaurant when we first arrived, however it picked up during the dinner rush. Our server (Tanya) was very sweet and went over the menu and the Churasscaria concept. Before we made our way to the salad bar, the staff brought over fries and cheese bread which I enjoyed. We declined the plantains, however we did have the Au Gratin potatoes later on which were good. The salad bar had some nice options, however some of the food was extremely bland. I love asparagus and deviled eggs and was excited to see them on the salad bar. The presentation was beautiful, however both lacked flavor. I enjoyed the smoked salmon and fresh veggies. The flavor of the candied bacon was delicious, but it was so crunchy that I thought I was going to chip my tooth when I bit into it. The meats were also hit or miss. The Wagyu (prepared medium) was really good and was one of my favorite meats that I sampled. I also enjoyed the sausage, and the Picanha. The salmon was seasoned well, but it was overcooked for my preference. The chicken was okay, but I didn't care for the BBQ sauce that was on it. I had a glass of Pinot Grigio which I enjoyed. A staff member came by and started hounding us about trying some of the cocktails. He raved about the Carajillo. I love a good Carajillo, but I literally had a full glass of wine. My friend had just ordered a mango margarita (which he enjoyed), so we weren't interested in ordering any other drinks at that moment. The staff was nice but they were overly attentive. I know they're just doing their job, but it was too much. They kept interrupting our conversation and there were multiple times when I lost my train of thought. Additionally, the gauchos kept coming over even when the disks were turned to red which defeats the purpose. I've been to churrascarias before and this experience fell short. It wasn't terrible, but it certainly could have been better.

I have to be honest, the food wasn't the best but it was good enough for me to return again. 3 stars is for the food but I'll give it one more star because the service was very friendly & accommodating. My friend and I had a reservation on Friday at 6pm. Once we entered we were seated right away and our server Tanya came by to introduce herself & show how everything is set up. They started up by bringing us some French fries & Bread. The fries were cold and tasted average, the bread however was very good. Warm, soft, fluffy and buttery. Tanya went ahead and introduced us to the salad bar. Not gonna lie, I was impressed with the amount of items that was offered at the salad station. They had Mac & cheese, garlic rice, shrimp risotto, smoked salmon/tuna/trout, deviled eggs, candid bacon, empanadas & lots more. My caesar salad was fresh but the dressing was a little too acidic for me. The candid bacon was cooked too much for my liking. The deviled eggs were bland and didn't have any salt nor any mustard taste to it. So they have a coaster at the table that says, if you want them to bring meats to your table; flip it to green & if you're good at the moment flip it over to red. They brought out variety of meats and I dont remember some of what I got but my favorite was the Wagyu steak. It was tendered, cooked to perfection & seasoned perfectly. The other steaks that I tried were just okay and not the best of quality. I also got to try their grilled salmon and it was cooked to hell. It wasn't flaky nor glistening & a bit dry too. They seasoned the fish with lemon pepper seasoning (not my favorite for fish). The sausage was juicy and very good. The shrimp was cooked just fine and didn't miss out on any seasoning. My friend ordered some wine and she seems to enjoy it. I got their frozen mango margarita. Wow, it was delicious. I can tell that it wasn't that artificial mango and it was fresh and blended in-house. The drink itself wasn't the strongest but it definitely caught up to me once I finished it, gave me a slight buzz. Overall, the food was decent, not great but I'll definitely come back since the service was amazing, thanks Tanya. I will say that I barely could have a conversation with my friend because different servers kept coming up every 2 minutes to see how we were doing. I'm not tripping about it but it was OD accommodating. But you know what? They're just doing their job so I ain't mad at cha. This place is a great spot to dine with your friends or for a first date since it's very quiet inside. There's no loud music or people acting crazy so you definitely will have a nice chill time there. Dinner AYCE is 63 dollars that comes with a salad bar & all the meats that they bring around. Dessert is sold separately. Will I come back? Yes.

I took my parents here for their 45th anniversary. It was my first time, but my parents had been before. They actually recommended the establishment. We went on a Sunday so they had made to order waffles available for brunch. My kids love waffles so I was excited about that. I also appreciated in addition to the salad bar they had other kid friendly items such as Mac and cheese, nuggets, white rice and more. The waiters were very attentive and the meat kept coming. My favorite dishes were the shrimp, pichana, and lobster bisque. When I eat at a Brazilian steak I always order caprihana. Theirs did not disappoint. The restaurant is well decorated and modern. I will definitely be back.

I've come here twice and both times have been amazing. That salad bar is amazing, I love the variety of food rom the black beans, empanadas, salads, etc. It's so hard not to get full at the salad bar. I also love all the sides. The bread is amazing, and so are the potatoes, and fried banana. I love that they have meat and sea food. It's really good and they have such a big variety of food. The staff comes really often to give you more. They have private rooms where you can do events. One of my fiends did a small wedding reception here and the staff was extremely kind and attentive and it turned out great. I was full for almost 2 days after eating here! My fav Brazilian steakhouse in San Antonio!

Anytime we have birthday celebrations, this is our go to. Always enjoy the service and the quality of food they serve. Place is always clean and maintained. Ribeye, picanha and shrimp are my favorites. Love the asparagus at the bar. Crème brûlée is also the go to dessert every time. Make sure you come hungry and pace yourself lol. The baby beef was melt in your mouth good. But the bread was surprising and irresistible. The salad bar had everything you could want or imagine. Make sure you're hungry when you go. Can't wait to visit again. And our server was a delight. She was attentive without hovering.

A year later update, we still love Avenida and it's our go to restaurant to bring family and friends. We enjoyed this restaurant so much that I had my wedding reception here! Katie and Eric were amazing in planning and hosting. The Rio room was perfect for our "small wedding" party of 50! If you ever need a space to host your event here, I highly recommend it!

I went here for my birthday last weekend and the food is amazing! I have been to Fogo and Texas De Brazil and this place is as good if. It better, if you like Brazilian style steakhouse's. It is a. It pricey at $60 for all you can eat, but the Shrimp and Scallops that were part of this were amazing addition to what I am used to getting at these restaurants. The meats were all great quality cuts, the salad bar was good, and I would highly recommend the Whistle Pig Maple Old Fashion if you like bourbon or old fashion. All in all...this will be our new family milestone restaurant for birthdays, anniversaries, and celebrations.

After experiencing some other churrascarias, it's obvious to me this is one of my favorites now. Some of the things that have spoiled me are their specialty cheese and seafood with salmon and shrimp being offered by the gauchos. You can invite your pescatarian and vegetarian friends here for dinner! I tried the cheese with honey earlier this week and that was an experience. Like, why have I been denied the cheese all this time? I've also had their salad bar only meal and its actually oddly filling. Service every time here is good or amazing, which to me is great, because that means the service here is consistent. This week we were here to celebrate our anniversary and everyone was so kind, helpful, and providing great service to me and all of the other tables, when I started people watching. That really impressed me, because there were no grumpy people and everyone was getting the same level of service, including the larger groups...which some churrascarias struggle with. I've been here for birthday parties and big social groups in the private room. You have to have a certain set of sales, as a heads up. My friend that reserved the private room had to make the guests make up the difference. I wasn't sure whether to be frustrated with her or her lame friends for not showing up. You can reserve for a large group, so if you have lame friends that will bounce, just make a reservation not reserve the private room. If you do reserve the private room it is a long rectangular room that is private as you can close it off, but it's glass, so you can still see outside. Service in that room is always top notch. Alcohol is good based, though I'm not much of a drinker in restaurants, but all my friends that do are always happy and buzzed. I've had maybe 1 or 2 mixed drinks here and they were good. Salad bar, still great. Still awesome. Cheese bread, still awesome. All the hot sides, great! They are also involved in the community. I was at the Empty Bowls Fort Bend fundraiser there, and they were there supporting the event. I really thought highly of the restaurants that bothered to show up. My anniversary dinner this week, sort of sold me on the idea that this restaurant is a favorite place of mine and that I love it here. I even got a free dessert! I didn't even ask for that! I had a great anniversary dinner with my love and found foodie love, as I acknowledged that this place was a favorite. Love it. Try it. It's all worth it!

Service terrible. Made reservations for Mother's Day, showed up on time just to watch them give away tables to walk in's. Waited over 30 minutes to get seated, which I feel is super unprofessional especially on a busy day. I honestly don't know what the point of a reservation if you get written down on the same list as walk in's. I literally watched them write my name down on the walk in list. Might as well just not have a reservation system at that point. Food was mediocre and was not worth the terrible service/hospitality.

The quality of the meat and even the salad bar stuff is very good. It's definitely better than fogo. The cheesecake we had was also good. The only issue I had was with different servers talking to me at the same time.

This is a long overdue review concerning events, as we all know the food here is delicious, well cooked, with plenty of variety. I chose this restaurant as my dental school graduation dinner and the person in charge of parties was Katie Aguirre - I was not able to meet her in person but communicated through phone and email. She is responsive, accommodating, sweet, and professional! The Steakhouse has a couple of rooms for private parties depending on size and they do have a $ minimum which varies for each room. I was able to see each room in person before choosing, as they all have different layouts. For my party, I had planned for 28 people and had surprise extra guests, meaning the restaurant had to accommodate more people than intended. They did a fabulous job adjusting the chairs and tables so that everyone fit, even though I had a whole section displaying graduation regalia, gifts, signage, and flowers! They were responsive the day of the event as I had to let them know at the last minute what time my graduation ceremony ended (the school gave me an estimated time range) and to let them know a few friends would help me set up decor and they ensured my guests were NOT in the room until ready, as there were some earlybirds. Additionally, everyone involved was understanding and professional as 1. they asked me what is considered ok to serve for the full bar drink package I chose (for example, asking me before service started what is ok to order and what is not ok to order - there was no sneaky guest ordering a super expensive champagne bottle haha) 1.5 the drinks were strong, which I know a lot of my guests appreciated and were quite a fan of 2. They were able to explain the menu and ordering process despite some language and confusion barriers with my guests, as there were some guests who have never been to a brazilian steakhouse before 3. They were quick and efficient with the rounds and variety of food, drinks, plates, refills etc 4. Great at timing when to bring the cake, allowing for photos, and serving it 5. The fact that the cake was dropped off earlier in the day by a local baker, communication and storage of cake was amazing 6. The service by everyone working was A+! They managed to appease grumpy guests (lol family reunions can be stressful and overwhelming) and I believe because of the service, food, and vibe the restaurant provided, all of my guests had a great time and left happy + full! They did such a great job with delicious food that I would not hesitate to book them again for anything - whether it be a wedding related event, birthday, anniversary, or work event.

The real star of the show here are the Caipirinhas. They make them to perfection here! Meat is good and the options in the salad bar are ok. Service is spectacular!

Where to start... I have to say I'm not into this style of food any more. Sadly, it's a young person game these days! ;). If you can eat a lot of meat and your not afraid of the price tag then this is your place. The food was well prepared and flavorful. For dinner there was a huge variety as well as a nice little salad bar that included ceviche of which I'm a big fan. If you're familiar with this style of food service then you'll appreciate the rapid pace at which the meat is brought to your table. I was a bit overwhelmed. Too many choices too fast. The meats served were always in a rush and at least one server seemed a bit agitated and less than happy to be serving us. Sorry at this price tag, I expect you to have a smile that could cure cancer! As to the ambiance, if you have family members who are hard of hearing don't expect to have an easy time conversing. While there wasn't any loud music something about the room made it hard to hear each other. But I will say this, the decor was very pleasant. In conclusion, I would have given at least a three and a half star but that's not an option. Baby Beef, Bottom Sirloin, Ceviche, Fried Bananas, Lamb Chops, Potatoes Au Gratin, Steak House.

We had an amazing Mother's Day brunch at Avenida. Service was awesome and food was delicious. Salad bar and desserts were great in addition the succulent grilled meats!

Went here for lunch on a Sunday to celebrate my son's birthday. Service was impeccable, almost overkill. I chose to just have the salad bar because it was way enough food for me. Everything on it was delicious, especially the asparagus, meats and lobster bisque. The cheese popovers were fantastic. My son and his wife had all the meats and said they were delicious! Better than the larger chains. They offered my son a birthday dessert of Crème Brûlée that was amazing! Only hitch in the whole thing was when the bill came and they charged me for all the meat when I clearly had none. Never turned the red card to green. Excellent dining experience!!!

I love meeting my GFs here once a month on Wednesdays. It's ladies night and we get a discount. The owner is a little bothered when you ask for A1. But other than that the food is delicious.

This restaurant is amazing. It's the finest Brazilian Steak House we've every visited. The staff and manager/executive chef gave incredible service. You will be impressed. The meat is perfect. Great cocktails. The wait staff moved the entire time we were there. We didn't have to wait for anything.

Made reservations a few days before for my sisters birthday dinner because my brother was raving about how good this place was, so we had to try it out! First impressions: Super nice inside! It's fast paced, bustling service, which is great for a Brazilian steakhouse. Service: Service was top notch! They cater to you like you're royalty here. Water: filled. Meats: unending. Stomachs: satisfied! They also provide bread and other sides as well, which is amazing. Food: Picanna was amazing, I could've eaten that the whole day! But I did try everything else as well. You will love the smoked sausage, lamb, house special and tons of other meats in their selection! And if you don't like meat, there's seafood options for you! I will definitely be back for special occasions, or even Houston restaurant week. This restaurant is a new found favorite for service and quality food!

I came here for the $25 Friday HRW lunch offer (AYCE picanha cut included). I think this was a really great deal. While the meats were only alright tasting just salty without any other seasoning (I've had better) and often overcooked, the sides were incredible. The cheesy bread was light and airy and the plaintains and pineapples were sweet and complex. The lobster bisque was the star of the show - creamy with lots of seafood! There was also a salmon ceviche in the salad bar which was decent. Overall, the steak was good but not amazing but the sides were definitely worth coming for the $25 lunch. We also came close to 2 pm and the last rounds of meat were at around 2:45. The salad bar closed at 2:30 (so definitely come earlier than us). However the service was good and the staff made sure we got the cuts of meat we wanted before the kitchen closed. They also charged an automatic 18% gratuity (something to keep in mind). And the restroom wasn't terrible but definitely needed to be tidied up.

The salad buffet was spectacular. Service was great the bottom sirloin was the best selection on the meat shrimp was good but over cooked. we were rushed do to concert tickets so didn't get our moneys worth but it was our choice to push the time.

Omg if you don't try the brûlée's bacon in the salad bar, we can't be friends. I totally would have bought a pound of it to take home to snack on if I could. Service was fantastic. I love that there are multiple servers for a section so you never have to search for someone when you need something.

Specifically drove from KATY to this location yesterday as I have been here before multiple times. Even before they moved to this location I have visited frequently... After driving 45min and passing many other brazilian steakhouses, I walk in and stand at the counter with my 7yr old son. Not a SINGLE soul walks up or says a word. I was beyond perplexed and since I am an extremely patient person I waited. And waited. And waited. I stood there for 10min as MULTIPLE people walked by us and never offered to seat us. Are yall only doing reservations?!? It was monday at 7:30pm...were you having power issues or something?!? I still don't quite understand what happened but after standing there for such a long time without being addressed we left. I ended up going to a steakhouse near my home and received exceptional service. Which resulted in a 25% tip. Won't be back to this location. Best wishes.

This is by far the best Brazilian steakhouse in Houston. Don't go to the chains. This place is privately owned and the service is phenomenal. Why pay $70 for a steak at a high end steakhouse when you get the entire thing here for less? Filet. Scallops. Salmon. Ribeye. Lamb chops Picana and more.. Oh my!

Service and meat choices were excellent. Ambiance was nice and upscale. The salad bar has many varieties. Highlights were seared tuna, avocado and the lobster bisque. Meat choices were excellent but some cuts were a bit salty. The grilled jumbo scallops were different from other Brazilian steakhouses. Overall a very good but not great dining experience.

I always drive past Avenida on the way to work, so I decided to stop by for a late lunch today for two. We got there around 1:30, so we were one of the few groups of customers that were left. Our server was extremely nice and helpful, and the restaurant also looked really elegant inside. We started with the salad bar and soup. The salad bar had a pretty decent variety of selections available, and the lobster bisque was so creamy and delicious. We also had sides that included cheese bread (my favorite), au gratin potatoes, garlic rice, and plaintains, which were all really good as well. I got the Brazillian lemonade, which was really refreshing and not too sweet nor sour. I wasn't sure if it's because we went in late for lunch or if dinner is different, but the meats/seafood selection was very small when we were there, probably only half the meats/seafoods availability from their menu, which was a little disappointing. The meats/seafoods that we did get though were all very tasty and flavorful, except for the filet mignon. The filet mignon was very bland and tough, even for the more medium rare/medium pieces. Overall it was pretty nice. Maybe I'll come back at a different time. Hopefully there will be a bigger selection.

Being this was my first experience with an "all you can eat" Brazilian steakhouse, my first expectations were limited. Having said that, Avenida's certainly was a premier choice. I imagine the logistics of operating a staff served buffet are quite heavy. Service staff and employees were nothing short of incredible. No interaction felt awkward or forced, a tremendous sign of well trained staff who take into consideration all the little things. Honestly when I go to a restaurant with unlimited portions, the ambiance is negligible. It's sort of like referee's in football; if you can't remember their names, they must be doing a good job. The overall atmosphere were lively, from what I could tell, accompanied by a clean dining area and bathroom. Aggregated together, I don't think a better selection could have been made for a birthday dinner.

Writing this review real quick because I'm literally about to head into the restaurant and totally can't believe I didn't write a review. My faves: lamb chops (when you can get it ), picanha, baby beef! Tip: Sounds silly, but you can actually just order salad bar as your meal. It's good for those on a diet or for people with smaller appetites (or me when you forget to not eat all day and can't do the whole meat extravaganza) WAIT I LIED THE CHEESE AND HONEY IS THE BEST THING! You've got to try it!!!

Waiter was on point! Very good salad bar. Cheesy popovers. And great grilled Meat brought to you. What more could you ask for....'maybe for the price more shrimp or a slice of ribeye...they even have lamb. Great place for a special dinner

Had such a fabulous time with my team for our annual Christmas Dinner. This is a perfect place to have a gathering. We had a private room that was beautiful and cozy. The staff were beyond helpful and the food was delicious. Everyone was raving about how much of a great time they had. Thank you Katie and staff for your great work in putting this together for my workplace.

Overall it was okay. Parking was easy and because we had a rsvp seating was easy. The food/meat was pretty good and they have a good amount of that. The sides on the other hand I thought sucked. So go to just eat meat. The salad bar was par at best. The service was not bad. The atmosphere, it is not a nice quiet experience. The restaurant is quite loud and lots of kids. Defiantly family oriented, which is good just know that is the atmosphere you are walking into. There is a full bar and that is good. Overall If you are okay with it being loud and kids all over the place, then this is the spot for you. As for the price we had a party of 4 and a beverage each, which averaged out to a little over $100 per person including a tip.

This is my first time at the new location and I was very impressed by the excellent service, classy atmosphere and delicious Brazilian barbecue. We came here for lunch during Houston Restaurants weeks and we were very satisfied. Our server Brian took really good care of us. The salad bar had a lot of healthy and yummy choices. My favorites are the lobster bisque, mushrooms and cheeses. The picanha sirloin was perfectly seasoned. The parmesan pork was also tasty and tender. We enjoyed the cheese puffs and black beans and rice too. We will definitely return to try the dinner menu where there are more meats and salad bar selections. If you are a meat lover, you will totally love Avenida Brasil!

Great food Great service. My wife is not crazy about steak So they really took care of her with seafood. The staff were the best I've ever seen. Will definitely be back!

Best bread! You need to order their house special. My girlfriend is not a big fan of any meat but she got FOUR Pieces of that! And order their Tres Leches after everything, please leave some space for it or take it home. They should teach all the bakery shops how to bake it!

If you're a meat eater this is the place! Lots and lots of meat until you say enough. Great variety of meat and salad. The lobster bisque actually has lobster in it. Fantastic wine selection with medium or high value. I enjoyed the house Cabernet. Service is friendly and timely. Nice comfortable atmosphere.

Love this place. Every single dish was perfect and the dls and bar is top notch . First class dining in in a relaxed and friendly Atmosphere .

Food is great. The appetizer buffet is a good spread. The guys bring your food quickly and very attentive. We went on a Wednesday ladies night. The place is also very classy inside. They don't rush you out. The lime /milk drink is my favorite

Went for HRW Saturday dinner and it was great-about $10 less than their usual buffet price. I was under the impression that we'd be picking an item from each course but it's just like the buffet experience with access to salad bar and you get a dessert option at the end too that can be to-go. Would recommend the flan as well! the crème brûlée was a bit too sweet for me
