I am celiaque, and the staff was knowledgeable and accommodated via modification where needed. The complexity and creativity in our meals was very appreciated. Merci!

Food is above average - value for money, but not super nice. Tried two 3-course set in Avenio menu - both starter and main dish are below expectation, dessert is good. Service is missing. Waiting too long between courses (not even a full house), feel ignored. No AC, very hot indoor. Overall, it’s still a nice local restaurant, but not worths the Michelin gourmand.

What a find! Very hospitable staff. Top notch food at reasonable prices. Wonderful wines by the glass. cucumber and feta gazpacho Dish that I cannot recall, but seriously looks awesome right? Arugula and tomato and something. Sorry can't recall. Iberian pork with passion fruit was a treat! So soft, so tasty. Could take bites and sip wine all day. The bread was amazing - get it! Just a wonderful experience. Wish I could describe the dishes better or more precisely. I remember saying that this was an excellent meal and at the price we felt like we robbed the place.

Excellent, excellent experience! On our first night in Avignon we managed to stumble upon this beautiful restaurant and to our luck we even managed to get a table here. The food was exquisite! From the wine selection, to the dessert and the flavourful entree and main - everything here was perfect. Lovely, courteous staff! Thank you!

There is a reason this restaurant has been Michelin rated every year. The food and presentation are fantastic. A unique combination of flavors makes each plate so delicious. Desserts combine herbs and fruits. The restaurant itself is very inviting and the staff are excellent. They speak English fluently as well.

Avenio We wanted to have a dinner outdoors but at the same time avoid the large restaurants that focus on meals designed for tourists. Our hotel recommended Avenio as a good choice for a nicer meal in Avignon. We made a reservation as the hotel's outdoor seating area is quite limited. The weather was perfect for an outdoor dinner. We decided to order main courses from the "Saison Plat" menu and deserts. My wife ordered the lamb and I ordered the fish. We shared a bottle of wine from the region. The fish was nicely prepared. It was cooked properly. My wife's lamb was also well prepared. The deserts are over the top. One of the highlights of the meal. Avenio is a nice choice for a finer dinner in Avignon.

This restaurant was such a hit! We loved the pre fix menu and thought it was very affordable for the quality we were served. The flavors complimented everything perfectly and the presentation was beautiful. The staff was very attentive and polite. This isn't traditional French cuisine but it was very innovative and well done. The restaurant was packed and they had to turn down walk ins so make sure to get a reservation!

Great food, and great service. They fit us in even though they were fully booked. Definitely one of the best meals of our trip. Everything was thoughtfully presented and absolutely delicious.

This was one of the best meals I've had during our stay in Avignon. To start, the staff is incredibly helpful and happy. They were infectious with the good cheer that they brought to us. Being American, we were the first ones in the restaurant and were very quickly seated at an inside table as per our reservation. For whatever reason there are just lots of flies around ... none inside Avenio. Incredibly clean and well maintained. I had a glass of house rose to start with which was just perfect. There was a tapenade with toast offered to start gratis that was a great way to get the pallet ready for the meal. I had the gambas to start while my associate had the octopus. Both were perfectly prepared and the portion size was perfect. I followed with a wonderful rare lamb served with mushrooms and daphenie potatoes while my associate had the ravioli. Again, both were prepared to perfection and the plates were left with nothing but the used silverware on them. Dessert was a wonderful strawberry sorbet expertly presented. I wish that I had taken the time to photograph the meal better, but honestly, it tasted so good I only remembered that I was hoping to review with photos after digging in ... once that started, there was no looking back. Hope to get back there later this week!

There are no words to accurately describe the food, the service, or the experience. This is a must do when in Avignon! Simply Perfection!

Five stars. The staff is very accommodating if you don't speak French, and incredibly friendly. Our Airbnb host, who's a local to the area, recommended this place. The food is outstanding as well, got the lamb with eggplant and it was easily one of the best meals I had.

Amazing restaurant! Great atmosphere, even better food. I love a restaurant where it is obvious the chef isn't just cooking to get by, but really is passionate about what he presents to his customers. It was obvious that thought was put into every dish, and each bite was a pleasure. Next time I'm in Avignon, this will be the first restaurant I visit.

Outstanding restaurant. Lovely interior, friendly staff. Food was very good. We were surprised to see a 2017 Michelin rating on the door too. English menu was a bonus. Highly recommend.

Excellent staff that was very nice to me and my broken French. Food was amazing as well, very strong flavors and vision.
