I usually eat inside with my dad. He passed away in May 2025, we always came here. Really missed the food here… Started seeing someone new, decided we didn’t want to drink and drive. First 🚩 door dasher called saying they are out of Bloody Mary mix. (Hence the hole reason why I chose this restaurant to begin with) Ordered an appetizer Second 🚩 the firecracker shrimp was not what it looks like when you sit down inside and eat. Was no glaze, VERY watery. The spinach and arugula was better sadly. Third 🚩 Brussels sprout salad, taste was great, had the fried onion rings not been in a greasy ball… Dinner Fourth 🚩 garlic fries were raw… completely raw. Also tasteless. Fifth 🚩 my dates Korean brisket taco… said it was good. But the taste reminded him of a gas station slim Jim…… Sixth 🚩 almond cake I think was stale. Dry, crumbled and every pick. Tasteless. Surprisingly my chicken feta wrap was pretty good. Talked this place up huge. Greatly regret this dinner. Completely dropped the ball. Honestly at this point I’m not sure if I can ever convince my date to go in and eat after that. We ended up ordering pizza 🤣

Everything was absolutely delicious, good serving size, and good service! I especially enjoyed the brisket nachos! More than enough to share! They were even better after my flight [yes I took my left overs on the plane with me back to DC]. Though not required I recommend a reservation. We went on a Monday for lunch and it was packed!

Google
Avenue American Bistro was SO FRICKEN GOOD! The portions are hugeee and the staff is super friendly. I didn’t really love the meat on the nachos, but my fiancé did, so that might just be me. Everything else was amazing, and even after eating a ton of food I didn’t feel heavy or sick, which says a lot. Their halal options are awesome, and they even have mocktails, which I loved! Definitely one of my new favorite spots.

Google
This bistro is very unassuming but the food was incredible. I got the Korean Beef tacos and they were amazing! You have to try the fries as well because they’re HUGE! my margarita was delicious as well and very affordable. Loved the onion soup. The only critique I have is that my limes that came with my tacos were VERY old and brown. But besides that, everything was delicious!

Google
American Bistro is a true hidden gem in the Wayne/Westland area. I've been here several times and they are very consistent with the quality of their food. I recommend the Korean fried cauliflower, garlic parm fries, Cod sliders, and the Brussel sprout salad. The only thing I don't like is that the food doesn't come out all together. It's a little annoying when you can't eat right away because you're trying to be respectful to the rest of your party and wait for the rest of the food. However, the food is always hot because they bring it out as soon as it comes up.

Google
One of the best restaurants, you can tell they care about their customers and the food is outstanding. I love everything I try and they have specials every month. I recommend to everybody and go a couple times a month.

Candi F.

Google
The entire menu looks phenomenal....I got the chicken salad wrap (I forget the actual name) and it was by Far the best wrap I've eaten. Everything that passed by the table smelled incredible....and the espresso martini!! It sparkled and shimmered!! It was delicious AND beautiful. I will definitely be going back.

Google
The waitress Summer was awesome gave me some great suggestions I had the brisket sliders and the General Tso’s cauliflower with the avenue sauce. Every single bite was great. Amazing flavor combinations, the sliders needed no condiments. If you are close definitely try this spot!

Yelp
Absolutely Delicious. Great service. The Reuben egg rolls are CRAZY!! I ALWAYS recommend this place!

Yelp
Avenue American Bistro is easily one of the best dining spots I have been to in a long time. From the moment we walked in the service was friendly and welcoming without ever feeling pushy. You can tell the staff really cares about making the whole visit great. The drinks were amazing. The cocktail list is creative and well made with options for every taste whether you want something light and refreshing or strong and bold. The appetizers and sharables were the real standout. Every plate we tried was full of flavor and looked beautiful. Perfect for sharing though you might not want to after the first bite. The Jalapeno Dip and the Cheddar Crusted Quesadillas were especially good. Whether you come just for drinks and small plates or stay for a full dinner Avenue American Bistro delivers all around. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Food menu changes somewhat frequently, so you gotta keep coming back to try new stuff! My favorite is the slider burgers, very great portions. In the past Ive also had their seasonal tacos which were delicious. Weve been here probably 5-6 times since we moved to wayne. Its a very fun place to chill with friends or to bring relatives from outta town. Can get a tad noisy but its very modern, lotta high top chairs but also booths. The staff is really kind, they are great with suggestions/recommendations and quick for a friendly reminder that a small lemon slice really amps up the food flavors!

Yelp
At first glance I didn't think this place would serve good food to be honest. From the outside it just looked like a typical place thay served bar food and hamburgers. Glad I had the opportunity to walk in see the decor and all the awesome staffs. The waitress was super helpful explaining how everything is served and the portions were respectably decent. I order the Korean brisket tacos, it wasn't too bad but it didn't taste like Korean more like teriyaki. It would have been better it was marinade in kalabi or bulgogi. Let's talk about their smoked chicken wings, it was not smoked nor it smelled like smoke. It was more like deep fired wings and the smoke came from the deep fryer. It was not bad but I was expecting smoked wings.

Yelp
First time visitor recommended by a friend. Bright modern dining room, fast service with a smile and excellent food. We were a party of 4 and all enjoyed the fresh made from scratch food. This will definitely be stop the next time I'm in town.

Yelp
Food was okay. It's pretty expensive for brunch food. Their service was okay but this is a cute brunch place in downtown wayne.

Yelp
I highly recommend this spot. I stopped in for a quick brunch before catching a flight, and it exceeded expectations. The food was outstanding especially the chicken sandwich and the service was excellent from start to finish.

Yelp
This restaurant is located in Wayne. It's about 10-15 minutes from the airport. I just picked up a little something to eat at DTW. Their menu isn't very extensive. I ordered buffalo chicken egg rolls $16. It came with a lime creme sauce. The egg rolls were good. It had a nice seasoning to it. They gave three whole egg rolls that were cut in half. The decor is very modern looking. It's bright and clean. They have a small waiting area that's comfy. We waited about 10 minutes for the egg rolls on a Saturday afternoon.

Yelp
Awesome service, great food! The Brisket nachos and sliders were our favorite! Will be back

Yelp
Can I get a what what?!?!? Yes I can. My friends, words fail to express the sheer joy we experienced at this quaint eatery. We loved the concept of scratch made everything, yes everything folks. These people care about your dining dreams come true. First, we labored over the menu, reluctantly narrowing our choices to 3 items (party of two) because we wanted to try it all but knew our inadequate stomach size could not keep up with this abundance of nourishment. Seriously, portion size, unmatched unless you are a frequent flyer at the local truck stops. We were forewarned by the amazing Jenna, our fabulously accommodating and smiling waitress, that the portions were substantial and much like Shakira, her lips don't lie. We ordered the beef brisket nachos and it was not only beautifully presented but the cheese sauce and brisket enveloped our taste buds in a symphony not even Beethoven could conduct. Wink. Next up, the Baja Fish tacos, hello! The fish, crispy, not greasy, and upon it danced the sauce and garden amenities likened to Mikhail Baryshnikov in Swan Lake. Our last contender, Chikin SoHo sliders, help, my taste buds, can't take much more stimulus. Perfectly cooked chicken with a slaw that would make you slap yo mamma, and then apologize. We have found restaurants before that brought the "FLAVA" but portion size disheartening, or portion size amazing but only adequate mouth enjoyment and ambiance, "meh". Not only is this little oasis designed and dressed like your fun hipster friend who's always up for a good time and clean???...check! The finale, the prices. Seriously guys, I can't believe the quality, the quantity, the more than reasonable cost. These people must be independently wealthy to be able to offer this amount of amazing food at these prices. Please hurry to get yours before they realize we're robbing them.

Yelp
Had a pleasant experience here on a Wednesday evening for a work dinner with my colleagues. I was able to call and make a reservation the same day and they accommodated a party of 12 easily. Upon arriving (early) our table was already set up and the hostess seated us quickly and our waitress brought out water while we waited for the full party to arrive. Decor was nothing fancy but it was simple and clean with lots of seating and I enjoyed the music they played. Our waitress was great with our orders, checked in on us frequently, and brought out our orders so quickly! We ordered quite a few items from the appetizers to start and everything came out so fast and was delicious! I enjoyed the jalapeño dip, however it tasted mostly cheesy with bacon and not as spicy as I'd like. The quesadillas were great and I loved the wings! We also enjoyed both shrimp dishes, nachos, and (to my surprise) I actually liked the cauliflower! I believe we also ordered the buffalo chicken egg rolls and my colleagues liked them. For dinner, we ordered various salads, tacos, and sliders and everyone really liked their main courses. I ordered the charred brussels sprouts salad and added shrimp and it was perfect! Large portions on the main course so many of us took our dinners home and had lunch the next day! The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the naan that came with the salads. They were lacking in flavor but the salads more than made up for it! I definitely recommend this spot and look forward to returning and trying out some of the tacos and sliders next time!

Yelp
Pretty popular spot. Came here on a Monday evening for dinner and had to wait 15-20 mins. The menu has a variety of options. My cousin and I split the shrimp and fish tacos. Both were delicious and huge. It didn't come with a side so we ordered the garlic parm fries. That was also really good. Our waitress was super nice and helpful.

Yelp
If I could give 100 stars, I would! This was the best meal I've had since moving back to the US from Germany in 2001! Every bite was "wow" all around the table. But let me start from the beginning... This little gem is kind of tucked away in the city of Wayne. There is plenty of parking. It's bright and roomy inside. Upon walking in I was greeted straight away and asked if I wanted a high top or low top table. I mentioned that I had never been here before and I was thanked for coming in. Then the hostess told me about the menu, the craft cocktails, and the soup. She said the waitress would be over shortly to take a drink order while I waited for my friends. Arwa was our waitress - she was fantastic! I asked for a glass of water while I tried to figure which one of the incredible sounding cocktails I wanted to try. She told me about a few of the most popular and added which one was her favorite. I ended up going with the blueberry pancake mimosa. It was excellent! As my friends arrived, I was finishing up a sample of the most incredible chicken dumpling soup I've ever had. Homemade dumplings with a delectable broth, plenty of chicken too! One of the friends asked if she could also try it. And of course, she loved it too. As the soup samples were brought to the table by a food runner, they were presented in a tin serving tray, with a description and a smile to please enjoy. Next came the ordering of our meals! While the menu is small (as it should be for a scratch kitchen), everything sounded so good we had a hard time deciding! They had some specials that were perfectly described by Arwa. We ended up ordering way more food than we could eat, and literally everything on each plate was perfection. Arwa was great - she answered our questions, offered secret menu items, and great descriptions of everything. She also never steered me wrong with her recommendations! On to the food: We started with an order of the. Buffalo Chicken Eggrolls - very obvious these are fresh hand rolled Egg rolls. They are stuffed with buffalo chicken mix, perfect crunch on the fry, and served with a really nice, thick, lime crema. The special of Honey BBQ brisket served in corn tortillas, with street corn were huge, full of flavor and each bite was met with, "wow" and "this is sooo good." My favorite comment was, "they actually used real honey, my lips are sticky!" I told Arwa I was debating between a few things and she recommended the Korean Beef Brisket tacos and holy wow were these amazing! So much flavor in every bite and they were stuffed with brisket and a kimchi style slaw with the most amazing sauce! I was really blown away by the intensity of the flavor (in all the right ways)! I, too, was saying "wow" after every bite! An off the menu item of Chicken and Waffles was also had - and it did not disappoint! Perfectly battered chicken with a nice fluffy waffle and warm syrup. Another "wow!" Because we love mac n' cheese we had a side of that too - it was a Smokey cheesy delight! Another "wow!" We also had to try the garlic parm too - they are a nice crispy shoestring fry - and they are very generous with the portions! Sooo yummy! Then of course, we had to try some desserts. They have several kinds of cake slices from a local bakery. We had carrot cake, red velvet, and strawberry crunch. All were great! Jason, who we all had guessed was an owner and/or executive chef, because of his incredible attitude, focus on customers, and pride in the food, was fantastic too. When he brought food out, he offered suggestions on the best way to have it - for example, "squeeze that lime all over the top of the tacos and enjoy!" As incredible as the food is, I would come back for the customer service alone - every single person who walked by, delivered food, or cleared a plate was so friendly, customer focused, and it seemed like everyone was really proud to be a part of this made from scratch bistro. What a great nod to how this place is run - kudos to the owners and managers of this restaurant for creating such a wonderful atmosphere for employees and customers alike!

Yelp
There are a lot of chains and coneys in this area. I love that AAB provides a more modern feel. It is also great because there is something for everyone on the menu. The fare has good default options as well as a few unique items and twists.

Cindy H.

Yelp
We had a great experience! The food & drinks were delicious - the cauliflower bites hit every time. Arwa was the best! She exceeded expectations with her engaging approach and excellent service! 10/10 recommend

Yelp
Food here is always yummy and I like their seasonal drinks the cheese crusted Quesadilla is so good! The parking lot isn't big enough for how busy they get though and there is a part of the lot that looks like it is a exit but really isn't and would destroy your car. Which is located closest to the side of the building.

Yelp
Fresh and Modern interior still seems inviting. Full service and a scratch kitchen is hard to find. Nothing is frozen with, high quality and organic produce. The flavor combinations are unique and delicious. I especially enjoyed the Brussel Sprout Salad and the General Tso Cauliflower. Tacos and Sliders are served with two and the servings are very generous. Our servers explained the entire menu and made excellent suggestions. It was too early for drinks but those sound delicious as well. Treat yourself.

Yelp
It was indeed a good experience to be here. With a great vibe . Aurora was too good and humble at service. She explained the entire menu. Suggested items as per our taste. Food was too good. Just that they have limited items on tge menu for vegetarians

Yelp
Landed in DTW and went looking for dinner outside the airport. Looking on Yelp (of course!), came across this bistro in nearby Wayne. They don't take reservations so they have a waitlist. We waited 25 minutes for a table. The dishes we ordered (sliders, fries and tacos) were just delicious! Portions were generous. The noise level was a bit loud. Service was good and friendly. We love that everything was made from scratch. My advice is to get on the waitlist before you get there. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Upon arrival building looked clean with a modern Spanish feel. Parking lot was in rough shape, plenty of parking on a Tuesday evening (5pm). Greeted and sat right away, interior has a very modern Spanish style, environment was relaxed. Kid friendly (no kid menu was offered). Ordered Baja Fish (tacos), chipotle hummus, shrimp basket, Mac and cheese. The tacos were delicious, crispy corn tortillas with cheese creating a quesadilla shell, cod was fresh, perfectly battered and crispy. Pico was fresh. I would definitely order again. Chipotle Hummus was just ok, served with crispy wonton chips, I felt like the chipotle (blended into the hummus) and the chimichurri (topped off on the hummus) were overwhelming in flavors and didn't really compliment the dish. The wonton chips were bland. Mac and cheese was basic in flavor. Safe option for kids. Service was wonderful!

Yelp
This is by far my favorite restaurant in the area! Their food dishes are presented in a uniquely great way and they have flavors that you won't typically find at a restaurant. Every dish we tried was amazing. The Brussel sprouts were extraordinary. Try those.
google avatar

Sherry W.

Yelp
I was so stoked to come here after hearing from friends how good this place is. Everything is made from scratch. The service was phenomenal. Everyone was polite, respectful, and so cheery. The food was FIRE!! Like I can see myself coming back over and over again. The general tso's cauliflower is to die for! I'm not even a big cauliflower fan, but here I am craving more. The Baja fish street taco was delish and so fresh. The chikin soho sliders were also very good, but I was already starting to get full. I had a blueberry lavender lemonade mocktail, and that was amazing. Everything we had was perfect. I can't wait to go back to try more items on their menu!

Yelp
Avenue American Bistro is one of the best restaurants in downtown Wayne. Excellent service that goes above and beyond. Both the waitstaff and bussers were friendly and checked up on us throughout our meal. The food is delicious and has a wide variety of options. There is classic American comfort food, local favorites, healthy salads, vegetarian options, new American, and fusion cuisine. Everything I've had tastes good. The plates are large enough to share and are well presented.
google avatar

John P.

Yelp
Interesting place with good food. The staff was friendly and helpful. Had the American Classic sliders, and you only get two for $14, ordered a side of the garlic Parmesan fries (came with a very nice dipping sauce). Food was quite good, although on the pricey side for what you get.

Yelp
We came here about 5 years ago and from then til now this place has had a HUGE overall change, it is WAY different. I loved how clean it looked and it was very spacious. Anyways so other than being amazed how the places looked the food there was amazing. So I recently had mouth surgery and can't eat crunchy foods so I thought this would be difficult for me but they had foods I could eat and enjoy. First off I wanna say that our waitress was very accommodating because she brought us out waters and I had an ice water and I can't drink ice water because the coldness makes everything in my mouth too cold and she brought me out a water with no ice and she didn't have to do that but she did. So I had Baja fish Tacos & the soup of the day which was a Chili. It came with 2 tacos and these tacos were HUGE, it was definitely jam packed with stuff, it was very delicious and it was soft enough for me to chew. The chili was amazing and it came with a little dish of Sour Cream & a bread. Very delicious and not spicy at all. Everything here was delicious and very fulfilling and the environment was very neat & clean. It is a little pricey but the food was worth it. I definitely want to come back here and sit at the bar after I heal from my surgery because the bar area looked very interesting with all the delicious cocktails they had.
google avatar

Jordan R.

Yelp
Everytime I eat here the service is amazing, the food every single time is amazing and they never miss a beat. Everyone I bring here they say it's amazing and will 100% come back. I love the chefs they're so sweet and always make me feel welcome . Still one of my favorite restaurants and will be forever. I almost forgot every single waitress is also so sweet and welcoming each time. Jordan :)

Yelp
Food and drinks here were amazing! Our server was helpful and so friendly. The other server that sat us gave us a whole run down about the menu when she asked if we had ever dined with them. It's so fun trying new places and this one was a hit! I believe they have different specials (not sure if it's daily or weekly) but my boyfriend got this brisket sammy they were offering. Good selection of cocktails as well!

Yelp
I stopped by here shortly after 11:30 AM on a Wednesday. I wanted to grab some lunch for my team members and they had looked at their menu online and sent me the order ahead of time. They are considered a made to order scratch kitchen. There were two other cars in the lot, thought maybe the staff parked in the back. Lights from the outside looked off and the place looked visibly closed. I called and no answer on the phone either. Not sure if they just happened to be closed on a random Wednesday during core lunch hours or if they had shut their doors for good? I watched another patron who was meeting up with two friends go to the door first. It appeared the folks there have or had been there before and were quite surprised to find it closed. I had wanted an order for 3 of their chicken bacon wraps. Note to always call ahead, even though COVID lockdown is over.
google avatar

Shenelle A.

Yelp
I've been here multiple times before and never wrote a review until now, just so I could talk about how amazing the Brisket Special Sandwich was. The rest of their menu is delicious as well, but I throughly enjoyed that sandwich and Garlic Parm Fries with a side of their house sauce. The cocktails here are great as well, and I'm very picky with my drinks. The workers are friendly and attentive. We were checked in on multiple times but various staff members. The inside interior is very chic and the bar area looks very trendy, definitely will have to sit there next time I come.

Yelp
The Avenue has never failed to provide quality food and service. Rather it's a carryout or dine in order, the quality of service is unmatched.

Yelp
Great place to eat, drink craft beer with great service! Stopped by for lunch and was not disappointed!

Yelp
What can I say this place is amazing for the first time in a very long time I finished every single thing we ordered no crumbs left. There was a 15 minute wait wich they offered drinks in the meantime. The hostess was friendly and explained some of the best things on the menu when she found out it was my first time here. The prices seam a little high but for the quality and portion size it was justified. The ambience was very loud and hectic because they were so busy but it was comfy seeing how happy everyone was and your usual sports bar decor. They have awesome drinks on tap i got a pineapple cider, and a raspberry beer, my girlfriend got a dragon fruit cocktail. Now onto the best part my god they put so much effort into there food. I got a 3 cheese mac n cheese broiled, sweet chili shrimp skewers, and French onion soup also broiled, with a creamy balsamic arugula salad. Just to start. Food came out fast as well as the drinks. Then the main course the smokiest yummiest wings smoked and brined in house for 8 hours with a side of sauce I got sweet chili, and red soda BBQ a little to sweet for me. And then 2 sliders called white BBQ they were smoked brisket for 18 hours on a bun with onion rings a creamy BBQ, pickles with pickled radish. I wish I could give this place 6 stars. Absolutely fenomenal.

Yelp
This is one of the best dining experiences my wife and I have had. I saw this spot featured on Chow Down Detroit and had to try it. Avenue American Bistro is absolutely beautiful and clean inside and out. It is tucked back into downtown Wayne, just a few minutes from 275. When we arrived, the hostess sat us quickly and we were greeted by several of the wait staff. Every person we encountered made a recommendation and highlighted the specials. The menu was a one sheet, straight forward menu with just enough options. I ordered the cheese crusted quesadilla and a bowl of French onion soup. My wife chose the smoked brisket nachos. The French onion soup came out and looked almost too good to be true. This may have been one of the best bowls of French onion soup I have ever had. It was crispy on top and cheesy in all the right ways. The broth was so deep and peppery, I almost didn't want to share it. This is a must try if you like French onion soup. The cheese crusted quesadilla came with chipotle sauce, crema, lettuce and pico de gallo. It was really good, but almost too much. The wood fired chicken was soft and delicious. The food busser offered a recommendation for the perfect bite and he was dead on. This was amazing, but not the highlight of the meal. My wife got the best of all in the brisket nachos. The waiter told us they smoke the brisket for 14 hours and it showed. These were some amazing nachos. Not overloaded, but not under either. There was liquid queso, pico, lettuce, peppers, and lots of brisket. This was more than enough to share and we plan to again in the future. This was an awesome experience and will definitely become a new regular spot for us. The ambiance, the service and the food all a perfect 5 out of 5.
google avatar

Dale L.

Yelp
The food here is amazing! We sampled the smoked wings, Korean tacos, general tso cauliflower, and Brussels sprout salad. Everything was good but I really loved the cauliflower and salad. The service was friendly and definitely were willing to suggest some excellent choices on the menu. They have a great assortment of homemade sauces like the red pop bbq. The ambiance is maybe the one thing that they could improve a little bit on. It was so incredibly loud inside and the wide tables make it difficult to hear the person across from you. Maybe something to help absorb some noise would help. Celebrity yelper Jeffrey R. also found some really cool record shops in town.
google avatar

Jordyn M.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I loveeeee this place. It has a casual vibe and the staff is very friendly! It truly never disappoints. The portions are large so we usually split a couple things. We have liked everything we have tried here except the Mac and cheese. Our favorites are the Buffalo chicken egg rolls, hand dipped tenders, general tso's cauliflower, shawarma taco, and chicken bacon ranch wrap.
google avatar

Remi W.

Yelp
We were excited to come here but it was unfortunately a very poor experience. The staff was very rude and unhelpful. You are not allowed to sit at the bar and have drinks while you wait for your table to be ready. When we decided to sit at the bar, instead of wait for a table, the hostesses were incredibly rude and disrespectful towards us. Would not come back and would not recommend.

Yelp
Avenue American Bistro was a great experience. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming--perfect for families and for adults looking for excellent food and service. Our waitress was upbeat, patient, and took the time to offer thoughtful recommendations for both dishes and drinks. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Yelp
We needed a fun place for family meal near the airport. This was great spot. Quickly seated without reservations. Two cute IG worthy photo spots. Super fast and helpful wait staff and servers. The menu was varied which was nice for our group. The side of fries is HUGE and our whole table shared. It's is a scratch kitchen and everything was fresh. I didn't love my nachos but it was personal preference. A little odd with the brisket but I knew exactly what I was ordering and I was trying something new. My husband loved the tacos. The chicken strips were fantastic. But FYI oddly there is no kids menu so my ten year old order the chicken strips and fries which was way too much food for her and a bit pricey for a kids dinner :). They had a fantastic looking drink menu but was not the time of day for a drink for us. Would recommend for sure.

Yelp
Are you ready for the 411? Here we go...I was in Michigan with my sorority chapter and stopped in this establishment. The service was amazing! The ambiance was cute, clean and spacious. Love their playlist! The food was AMAZING! When I say the food was so good and delicious. We were able to share the food between the six of us. Do not come to town and not stop here!

Jay F.

Yelp
Amazing food. Everything was incredible. A must to go when visiting. The Cole slaw , chili, fire shrimp.

John S.

Yelp
The staff was pretty friendly with speedy seating and multiple checks on you during the meal. Definitely wouldn't have run out of drinks or wait long for any need you may have. The food is unique with a simple menu of creative dishes and they do not disappoint. The flavor and taste is as good as the pictures. Cocktail/bar feel with a modern vibe where you don't want to come in too casual.
google avatar

Graziella B.

Yelp
The atmosphere is very energetic and exciting, you can feel the vibe of just hanging out and having fun. The wait staff are super friendly and very helpful. Our waitress took the time to explain the menu and go over any specialties. The food tastes great and you can see the effort that was placed in your order. It's a definite must try if you're in the neighborhood. Come for lunch or right after work and hang out at the bar section, looking at the TVs or just listening to the music while enjoying a bite to eat or just your after work cocktail! You can't go wrong when hanging out at the Avenue!

Yelp
Our second visit was just as delicious as our first visit! Today we ordered brisket nachos, French onion soup, and the Shwarma street tacos.

Yelp
The first time I went there was November the 26, 2024 to celebrate the 14 year anniversary of surviving a stroke. I was not disappointed that I chose this place! We ordered the Reuben egg rolls, cheddar crusted quesadilla, smoked wings, and garlic parm fries and everything was amazing! The portions were pretty big too. The staff members were so friendly and fast being that multiple people bring out your order. I've been back and I plan on going back again very soon. Top notch restaurant.

Yelp
Food was amazing! We ordered the prime rib and chicken sliders...they were so tasty! Also ordered the fries...enough for the whole table! Tap beer selection and prices very good. Service could be improved...waitress seemed young and inexperienced! She didn't come around much! But the gentleman who brought us the menus and greeted us was super friendly and nice! Lovely way to greet customers.

Yelp
Food was delicious! One complaint, I asked for sugar for my iced tea, all they had was sweet & low. Yech! Very, very loud in the main room! Our server only came to one end of the table, so we ended yelling to talk to her. Same for when she brought the bills, instead of just walking to the other side of the table, we had to pass everything down to her. It was irritating.

Yelp
Great food, subpar customer service. Stopped in here early the other day and was seated and served quickly. Food came out pretty fast and the egg rolls were immaculate. The chicken tenders were awesome as well. Portion sizes are great on these and definitely shareable. Which they better be for as much as the dishes cost in here. Definitely bring your appetite and people to share with. The dishes are also all homemade and you do taste that quality in them. My issue with this restaurant is the management and the customer service. The nachos did not taste good at all and the chips were a bit stale. We brought this up to the manager and she basically refused to take them back saying that everything was made fresh each day so it's impossible for it to not taste good? This literally makes no sense. It doesn't matter if it's made daily, mistakes happen with preparation of food and sometimes a batch doesn't come out right. It's not like the rest of the food wasn't good, so not sure why it was an issue. She then said she was going to the back to taste the cheese to see if it was fresh. She never came back and eventually the server came out and said she(manager) was removing it from the bill. Just rubbed me the wrong way with how she was so confrontational about removing a dish. As a table we spent over 100 bucks even without that. What happened to the customer is always right? If you're in the area, definitely a good spot to check out. I sadly probably won't be back in. But I will always remember those eggrolls.

Yelp
Love this place! Great and creative food- I only wish they had more options for dietary restrictions. But I love the entire ambiance and am happy to just go have a drink if anything. Service is always great and I think that they have a good thing going for them- I mean, it is ALWAYS packed, at least when I've been there! Thank you!!

Yelp
Great food and better service. Really good place to eat. Give it a try next time you're in the Dearborn area or going to the airport
