Service 10/10 Speed 10/10 Quality 10/10 Avenue Deli in Newton is a must try. Owner works alongside his employees and takes great pride in their work and product. Best deli in the area, hands down.

My boyfriend was excited about this place and took me here. The Baja Chicken sandwich is our favorite, the flavor combo of the chicken, peppers, bacon, avocado, tomato and spicy Mayo was so flavorful and fresh together! A great chicken sandwich. The staff were nice too and it was a clean quiet place to eat. Definitely a good lunch spot I can see myself coming back to after morning classes :)

My old man brought me here for the first time earlier today. He's become a regular in recent months, and I can see (and taste) why! The owner, Mike, and his staff, treat him wonderfully. Great people and great food (the Corn chowder with chicken was deliciously creamy with the perfect amount of kick). Needless to say, a return trip with my old man and/or friends is imminent!

Great addition to Newton. Been here over half dozen times since first of the year. Always great over stuffed corned beef sandwich on super fresh rye. Staff also very friendly and the prices are very very fair. Been told by friends to try the steak and cheese sub. That's next !

Born and raised in Newton, this deli is exactly what we needed. The owner takes such pride in his restaurant. You cannot beat the quality quantity and prices. Where can u get a mile high hot pastrami sandwich for under 11 bucks. I tried their meatball sub yesterday, it tasted better then any place I've been to and I tried them all from Newton Waltham Wayland and most of metro west. The owner is outgoing, kind and will be very successful in this new location.

Our family has become regulars here..and everything we've ordered has been delicious!! Mike and his staff take great pride in the quality of every item. Give the Avenue Deli a try..you won't regret it.

First time in and I was impressed! Great deli! We had an Italian sub which they toasted per our request and a Baja chicken sandwich(chicken breast, avocado, bacon, cheddar, roasted red peppers, and chipotle mayo on a brioche bun)Both sandwiches were phenomenal. Tons of meat(all Boar’s Head) and lots of flavor. We had their macaroni salad as a side and that was good as well. Mike was the nicest guy, welcome to Newton! We are glad you are here! We will be back soon
