"Billionaire extraordinaire Mark Cuban is now an investor in Brooklyn’s all-avocado restaurant Avocaderia after he threw down $200,000 in last night’s episode of Shark Tank. Under his and fellow shark Barbara Corcoran’s — who also invested $200K for a 10 percent stake — guidance, owner Alessandro Biggi hopes to open an additional 20 locations nationwide for the hungry masses, Munchies reports." - Stefanie Tuder

Lovely salad take-out eatery with avocado as the centerpiece. My Greek avocado salad was delicious, fresh, with a nice balance of olives, feta, tahini dressing, pickled radishes, toasted sunflower seeds, lettuce, avocado, and more. There is ample seating available at the food court. Lovely atmosphere and very kid-friendly. Fast service.

Google
Avo is one of the better fast casual restaurants. The ingredients used are exceptionally fresh. I ordered a salmon avo plate with Mexican cesar dressing . The mix of the avocado, roasted corn, edaname, quinoa, and generous piece of salmon was absolutely delicious. This was enough food for two meals.. I'm usually not a fan of fast casual establishments, but this definitely is an exception. Look forward to trying some of the other items.

Google
Very simple and fascinating concept in eating out. I really wasn't warm to the concept of an all avocado eatery at first, but there are more than enough combinations to enjoy a well seasoned variety of avocado wonderment. Will definitely recommend to visit here.

Expect to wait at least twenty minutes. The first ten minutes of waiting there was only one person taking orders and not filling any. Only after ten minutes of waiting did another worker appear. The food was fine. They only give you half an avocado. For such a large bowl I expected a whole avocado. Overall it's definitely not worth the wait. The price is typical for the neighborhood.

Had been wanting to try this place for a while as I am an avocado lover. Very small shop, as the description says, more like a bar. Kind of original in its style but I feel like it is way overrated. You can find the same plates and dishes in your day-to-day go-to salad place, or in your go-to breakfast/brunch place. Nothing original, I’d say, except for the avocado “burger” and also the sweatshirts and avocado scrubs for sale. Not impressed with the staff as well. Great smoothies. All in all, nothing too special. Industrial City, where it is located, actually was great to hang out at.

Google
Let’s start by saying this place is fun. Think about it, the entire menu revolves around avocado! Imagine people actually talk about it and it actually exists! Atmosphere: casual, chill, like a cafe vibe. I’d highly recommend coming here for lunch or breakfast. Service: fast and friendly. The packaging is mostly cardboard and paper. Minimally plastic. They do use plastic straws, which says a lot about the times if I’m paying attention to it. Food: we ordered a bunch of food to try. We got every smoothie, the avocado toast with chilli, the green wrap, the Thai bowl, the toast with egg. All delicious. The avocados are super fresh. The bread is good too. The bread of an avocado toast is pretty important when you consider how simple it can get. You can’t go wrong with avocados. Healthy fats, tons of folate, fiber, potassium, vitamins, magnesium and more.

Google
This place has tasty and nutritious food. It’s really convenient for an avocado fan like me. The staff is good. It’s a real aesthetic place. I love the way they’re going eco-friendly. It is also near a B70 stop so I don’t have to walk a lot.

Google
Recommend for all avocado lovers. This place improved from the last time we’ve been there. Nice selection of simply avocado toast and bowls. I think it would be good to add a good selection of good quality teas. The place is good, but looks like something is missing. It definitely place to grow. Will come by soon again.

Yelp
In the smorgasbord of excellent edible options at Industry City, Avocaderia represents the healthier option. This trendy little stand/counter is offering up tasty salads, bowls, sandwiches, smoothies, etc., almost all with avocado. That's why that's the name. Avocaderia. I'm surprised you couldn't put that together. We ordered the salmon plate (and I blame my wife. I wanted tacos and pizza, but she wants me to "live past 50"), with an extra side of avocado. The salmon plate comes with all kinds of veggies, half an avocado, and a smaller piece of salmon than I'd like on a bed of too much quinoa. The very nice staff just put an extra half an avocado on the plate itself, and sprinkled both with cashew parmesan. Since I'd ordered the extra avocado for my kid who doesn't believe in vegan cheese, I was forced to ask for another on the side and so we were blessed with three avocado halves for the price of two. Everything was coming up Milhouse. I can only report back on this salmon plate thus far, but all the ingredients were fresh and tasty. It was a little too heavy on the quinoa, and too light on the dressing, but these are the things we do for our health.

Yelp
Service was great. I wasn't familiar with some of the add in's and they let me try them. The pepitas were so tasty. Overall, for a meal a little costly but a large portion and satisfying. Avocaderia is mostly a counter to order, but plenty of seating around industry city, indoor and outdoor. For a custom bowl with chicken and maxed out toppings including avocado, 15$. Average price for a meal like this in nyc.

Yelp
I was happy to come across acovaderia while I was in Industry City for an event. They offer a somewhat healthier menu amongst all the other food vendors there. The portion sizes are pretty reasonable for the price, but it tasted a little bland, even with the olives mixed in. The corn was also a little dried out, which speaks to it's freshness. However, not the worst salad I've ever had.

Yelp
Gee, I can't believe this spot was featured on "Shark Tank" and landed a $400K joint investment from Mark Cuban and Barbara Corcoran. I mean, it's a nice concept but hardly novel to Californians like me used to places selling avocado toast and avocado bowls. Jamie W. and I had never been to Industry City before, so we were browsing the the variety of eateries in the food hall. This one caught our attention because the skinnier Brooklynites appeared to be gravitating in their direction. As I suspected, the menu consisted mostly of salads and bowls with sliced avocado in the spotlight position. There were also some bun sandwiches where avocados were mashed as a mayo substitute. Jamie decided to go for the $14.45 Spicy Chicken Bowl (photo: https://bit.ly/3U1Tg4m). It featured spinach and brown rice mixed with chicken, avocado (of course), purple cabbage, carrots, pico de gallo, and crushed tortilla chips. The spice came from habanero hot sauce and jalapeño citronette. He thought it filling but rather perfunctory in flavor despite the spicy description. I ordered their seasonal flagship, the $14.45 Harvest Bowl (photo: https://bit.ly/3NrWPP3). It was a rather bland concoction with quinoa, kale, roasted sweet potatoes, goat cheese, chicken, avocado (of course), roasted almonds, and a balsamic vinaigrette they described as 'smoky'. It was all decent enough, and they appear to be successful enough to be building a chain of avocado eateries. I certainly don't question Cuban's business acumen though I know his favorite place to eat is IHOP. I'm just sayin'. FOOD - 3 stars...avocado bowls that just passed the grade AMBIANCE - 3 stars...a 500 square-foot space with no room to wait for the order SERVICE - 3 stars...rather robotic TOTAL - 3 stars...you can do a lot with an avocado RELATED - Hungry in NYC? Yelp
My recent visit to Avo left much to be desired. Despite the promising menu and my partner's recommendation, our experience was marred by an incident that left us feeling frustrated and disappointed. Upon arriving at the restaurant after a workout session, we were eager to refuel with some protein and good fats. My partner, a regular customer, ordered his usual breakfast bun sandwich but requested the egg to be cooked well done, as he has done on multiple occasions in the past. However, to our surprise, his simple request was denied by the staff, citing the busy nature of the establishment. Which was false, there were 5 people present; me, my partner , the cook and the female taking the order and Ryan, whom I assume is the manager. While we understand that restaurants can get busy, this is not the case today. We were taken aback by the refusal, especially since the menu did not state any restrictions on modifications. As someone who prefers their eggs fully cooked for both taste and safety reasons, this was particularly concerning. We were left wondering about the quality and safety of the eggs being used, especially considering the potential risks associated with undercooked eggs. Although my partner asked for a refund, which was eventually granted, the tone of the conversation with the manager, Ryan, felt dismissive and unaccommodating. If felt discriminatory!! Plain and simple. It was disappointing to encounter such unwillingness to accommodate a reasonable request, and the experience left us feeling unwelcome. Beyond the issue with the eggs, the overall atmosphere of the restaurant felt lacking. Despite there being only a few customers present, the service was slow, In conclusion, our visit to Avo fell short of our expectations. While the food may have potential, the lack of accommodation for simple requests and the indifferent attitude of the staff detracted from the overall experience. We hope that the management takes this feedback constructively to improve their service and create a more welcoming environment for all custom

Yelp
Food was tasty and fresh. Only giving three stars because there are very few vegan options.

Katie N.

Yelp
Soooooo delicious!!! My body was craving something healthy and filling and luckily I found this place! I wish there was one back home so I could eat it all the time! Very fresh and so many options from preselected bowls to create your own. I was very disappointed they closed at 5p on a Saturday.....really?! We walked in and they closed behind us, but so did all the other places. Makes no sense, when the place was still crowded. Don't miss this place if you like health food and avocados!

David L.

Yelp
This is not about the food or the staff. I ordered a bowl and was enjoying it until I felt something sharp in my mouth. It was a piece of glass - I was also sharing with my toddler so I was shocked. Took it to them immediately - they gave me a refund without a proper apology. They took my email saying the owner would apologize but I did not receive anything. I am not looking to gain anything from this but they should have at least reached out to apologize. I cannot imagine what this would have caused if my daughter was the one having the bite.

Beth G.

Yelp
Delicious and fresh salads a bit on the pricey side for the portions, hence the 4 stars. When I ordered a side of guac and chips for $6 what you actually get are bits of chips crushed over your salad and guac on top

Kentaro K.

Yelp
The best part about this place was the staff. They were pretty nice. However, the food and drink was not as great. I got the Portobello Road and the Lychee Dragonfruit drink. I'm sure they are healthier than alternatives but they seasoning was lacking. The drink wasn't very sweet. Considering the price, if I wanted healthy mediocre food I would rather just eat at home.

Stefano C.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots in industry city, shoutout to Cesar, he always takes care of me.

Anna W.

Yelp
This place is AMAZING. Me and my co worker went for lunch and we are extremely happy with our orders. We both created our own bowls and the service was amazing and fast. We recommend:)

Yelp
I was a little disappointed after seeing a news report on the location in Manhattan and an interview with the owner. This is not a sit down location and the only place to sit is in the community food hall. There is no waiter service. Avocaderia is located in " Industry City" which are converted industrial buildings in Sunset Park Brooklyn. There are a lot of cool things to see here such as artwork, some retail shops and good food choices to sample. Don't get me wrong the food was good, the staff was nice. I would give it 4 stars for that. They have very healthy choices, juices, and Vegan and Gluten free options. The portions were decent although considering this is not a sit down location it's a little pricey. Especially juices in a bottle for $6.50. The rest of the experience was 2 stars. As you can see by the photos it is a small space probably 25' x 15' at best. I went on a Saturday afternoon and there were only 2 people on staff. There were about 10 customers. It did not take very long to get my order, although the whole thing felt rushed. You have to get your own utensils which are plastic of course. THEY DO NOT TAKE CASH! They sight health reasons although in my opinion it's just a way to increase profit by not having to deal which paying for change, having a commercial bank account for night deposits, worrying about employee theft or having an armed robbery (Not a bad thing) Even the credit card acceptance and process to have a receipt emailed or texted to you makes the customer work too much. In many peoples eyes this is discrimination against lower income individuals. The city of Philadelphia introduced a bill that passed banning retail store from not accepting cash. I don't think I would go back, the food was good, I just got the feeling that the owners care more about their bottom line than providing a great customer experience and making it almost completely self service.

Yelp
Not worth it.. got a breakfast sandwich with salmon and avocado ( 15 dollars with tip). The salmon was sliced thick - texture not appealing. The egg was so overcooked.. The best thing was the bun ( from Balthazar) The dressing was too acidic. Avocado was good but mushy making the overall texture of this - mush. I spent 15 dollars and could make a better sandwich at home. Disappointed.

Yelp
My friends and I made the trek to brunch at Avocaderia today and we enjoyed it. It's inside this Industry City food court/shopping center, has no seats on its own, but there's (very awkward, not ideal for groups) seating outside provided by the building. No wait on a Sunday at 3:30. I got the Twist and Sprouts, which I may have fantasized for weeks and was excited for. I think it was overrated so I was let down. It was just average. I didn't enjoy the crunchy items, and felt that it was sparse in brussel sprouts. I didn't get full from it, either. 3/5. My friends' orders were better! They got the Prince Salmon (4/5), Mediterranean (5/5), Greek Island (5/5), guacamole (3/5 was bland and needed lime or garlic), and pumpkin soup (3/5 needed seasoning). Worth the trek to try once! Stick to the toasts. Seems that that's what they're best at, and will give you the most bang for your buck.

Yelp
Since I very much like avocados, I've been meaning to try Avocaderia for some time. I was in the area earlier and able to do so. Known as the world's first avocado bar, Avocaderia is all things avocado. This includes avo toast, avo salads, avo burgers and avo smoothies. It's located in the food hall among many other eateries in Industry City. The store itself was small but cute and clean. No seating within Avocaderia but as with all food halls, there's a general area with lots of seating/tables to eat on the premises. This was my first visit and I was seeking something basic. I selected the Chill Out avocado toast. It was ready in just a few minutes and included one slice of toasted multi grain bread topped with avocado combined with some spices, lime citronette and chilli. It had a slight kick to it. There was the option to top it with an egg for an extra $2.00, but I passed. The colorful menu was affixed to the wall and my selection ($6.95) seemed to be the minimum with prices averaging around $8.95 and above. My opinion is lukewarm. I enjoyed it but observed the following: the layer of avocado seemed to be 1/8 of an inch (a bit skimpy) and it wasn't very filling. Couldn't tell you if other selections included two slices of toast or would satisfy hunger as a proper meal. Still, I'm glad I tried it and would give it another try to make a better assessment.

Yelp
After a carb and butter-fueled romp around NYC, my body was calling out for something green...and I knew this LA girl couldn't go wrong with getting a salad from a place called Avocaderia. Which begs the question... so why didn't you open up in LA first?! I ordered the Spicy Chicken bowl, sub habanero sauce for the chipotle mayo. It was well proportioned, full of yummy fresh ingredients with various textures (the rice had an enjoyable crunch, especially with a bite of spinach and avo), and most importantly, tasty and nutritious. For the ~$15 I spent, I couldn't have gotten any more of my money's worth anywhere else for what I wanted. Someone mentioned SG--be honest, for a salad this size with this many ingredients, you'd have to spend at least 25% more. Now again... please open one in LA! Reading through some of the negative comments I've seen, just wanted to say that knocking points off for this establishment being part of a food hall is a bit ridiculous. If one doesn't enjoy the ambience of a food hall, one should not eat at a food hall.. just saying.

Sally C.

Yelp
Selection is pretty limited here which is why I gave it a four instead of five. The foods are really healthy and you can see they put a lot of effort in the foods they up out The only complaint I have is that they don't have a lot of non-vegan / vegetarian options. I understand that they focus a lot on the vegan/ vegetarian options but I think adding a bit more to their menu will really open their doors to a lot more customers. But I highly highly HIGHLY recommend ordering the mango avocado shake it's so filling and taste between an orange/ mango cream pop. Which I love ! And was surprised about

Maria W.

Yelp
Food is good, had a nice lunch; we went to pick up the 1st day they open on 5th Avenue and 27th street

Ashley A.

Yelp
The "Burrata Dream". At first I thought that was an egg on top, but its cheese lol. The avocado and cheese was a good combination. If you are an avocado lover, this is definitely a place you have to visit

Connie H.

Yelp
You know, I'm honestly surprised at how few Yelp reviews there are considering the FB/Thrillist video advertising this establishment has a whopping 2.1M+ views!!?! In short: I don't find the place overhyped or overpriced... so my fellow avo lovers out there, fear not. FOOD - I had the Mediterranean toast ($9.95) and it was pretty good and filling. The sourdough bread was thick, the avo luscious, and all extra ingredients were put on perfectly (although I could do without the tapenade). Overpriced?! More like you're paying for fresh and organic ingredients, trick! SPACE - FYI this is not a store but a space within the Industry City buildings. So those pics showing the staff behind the bar? That's it. But don't worry, there are communal tables outside (with free wifi!). Overall as an avo lover I am impressed and look forward to them experimenting further with new creations! :)

Tung D.

Yelp
Basically Avocado + other things. Pretty bland. I saw the insider video, so decided to take a longer lunch break to try this restaurant on Friday (this restaurant only open during lunch hours on weekdays). The small restaurant (or should I say food stand) was located in a food court, so plenty of seat in the common area. I liked the spacious food court. About the food, my friend and I ordered the El Salmon (smoked salmon on avocado toast), and the avoburger (avocado sandwiching smoked salmon and mayo on a bed of sald. Avocado was fresh, salmon was skimpy. They tasted like how they were originally. Would you pay $17 after tax for 1 avocado, little smoked salmon slices, some veggies, and a nice representation? You answer the question yourself haha.

Michelle R.

Yelp
I tried one of their vegan bowls and it was better than expected! So far I've only had it once but I definitely intend on getting again soon.

Zainab D.

Yelp
I ordered avocado toast with boiled egg it was very delicious, fresh and tasty this is the first time I like avocado toast in NY actually I love it. I tried too lintel soup it was amazing.thank you guys I very recommend this place.

Monica T.

Yelp
Unfortunately Avocaderia is only open Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm, so it's difficult to visit unless you work in the area. Fortunately, I was able to visit this avocado heaven during a recent summer Friday (aka got out of work early! Woohoo!) My friend and I split the toasts: Chill Out, Mediterranean. While they were both delicious, I definitely preferred the Meditteranean toast as it was much more flavorful. The store is an order-at-the-counter type place. It's located inside a warehouse-looking building that also contains a few other small food counters. While the seating is limited indoors, there's a great amount of space to sit and eat outside (hopefully you won't go during a rainy day like I did!) This location is 2 stops into Brooklyn and worth it if you love anything avocado! Would love to return and try the avo smoothies!

Jennifer W.

Yelp
The best salad I believe I've ever had. How can a salad be that amazing - I have no idea but I never yelp and here I am. I had the Harvest Salad with kale which I don't usually order but it was January and I was trying to be as healthy as I could. The kale was so soft and not bitter and just all the ingredients together were amazing. I'm a bit of a foodie so truly this place is great! Very clean and the customer service and manager (Shane I think was his name) were so nice and accommodating! Very enjoyable. I'll be back.

Jahdai T.

Yelp
I've been wanting to visit this place ever since it opened! Finally, I went for a quick lunch the other day. This place is always posting on Instagram the lines there are just to order but, there was no line when I was there. Even if there was I would've waited in line for any of the delicious avocado-based options. The menu is inviting. Nothing too complicated. Simple selections all with avocado as an ingredient. So far I've tried their Signature Guaca and there Let it Beet toast. Hands down the best toast I've ever tried! Fresh ingredients and perfectly ripe avocados. Need to go back to taste the rest of the items especially the Mango-Avocado smoothie.

Aya E.

Yelp
I heard so much about this place; I knew I had to give it a try! I came by around 11am and there was absolutely no wait, which was kind of surprising considering all the hype this place has. I ordered the mango avocado smoothie which had avocado, mango, almond milk, lime, and agave. I also ordered the egg avocado toast which wasn't on the menu but was a special on their sign outside. The drink was refreshing but too expensive, in my opinion. The toast was very pretty - definitely Instagram-worthy but also overpriced. It was probably 2 whole avocados and a soft boiled egg on whole wheat toast. Honestly, I love avocados but paying almost $18 for 2 items was more than I expected. This is a one time try or a once in a while place, in my opinion.

Karen S.

Yelp
Avocaderia is located in the Industry City in Brooklyn. The interior is very pretty and well decorated. I personally think the food is overpriced... for A toast or for an avocado. I ordered the salmon avocado toast and it was wayyyy too salty... oh well.

Pamela N.

Yelp
Love avocados and this place is full of them! Menu it's pretty healthy ish ...not a lot of protein options if you're not a vegetarian like me but the presentation it's pretty and fresh ingredients. I had the My Thai + chicken, very tasty salad but pricey for small portion. I wouldn't recommend this place as a regular spot for lunch but from time to time it's fine ;)

Jen O.

Yelp
Eh. I don't think this place lives up to the hype and it is overpriced. There are so many other places to try in Industry City! And I so hated the fact that they cut my toast vertically instead of diagonally. Everyone knows diagonal is better. I ended up dropping my half of the toast :/

Shelly F.

Yelp
Was very good. Clean place and decent renditions of this vegetable.

Rachel Y.

Yelp
When I visited NYC last year, this place didn't exist. This, I made it a priority to revisit NYC because simply.. I love avocados. So you can imagine my disappointment when all 3 of the items I ordered fell extremely short of my expectations. :( FOOD/DRINKS: - avocado matcha smoothie +2/5 This was probably the best thing out of the 3 items but still pretty gross. You couldn't taste the matcha at all & the avocado was overpowering. - breakfast avocado toast +1/5 Quite the simple dish: avocado, toast, egg, & some chili flakes. How could one mess this up? But they did - the avocado was overwhelming, there wasn't even seasoning, & the egg was toooo undercooked too enjoy. - Avo burger +1/5 Again, the avocado was too overwhelming with not enough other tastes within the dish. The best part of the dish was probably the pita chips offered with it. Trust me when I say I love avocados. I've never actually been overwhelmed by avocados in any dish until I had these items. They definitely need to step up their game with the seasonings and cater more to the taste, rather than just to IG photos. The one good thing about this spot is that it's in a food market with many other food vendors that may satisfy your appetites!

Florecita M.

Yelp
Was super excited about this place (life-long avo nut over here), and got the Avo Brunch Toast, which is basically avocado toast with extra avo slices and a poached egg. Verdict: super disappointing and bland! As others have said they need to learn to season their food. This definitely needed salt and acid, i don't think it had either. This is pretty basic and a simple fix...if several people are noting it not sure what the problem is. I also agree with another reviewer who said the egg was under-poached. I couldn't believe something that looked so good could be that tasteless. Especially disappointing given the $12 I paid for it.

Rain L.

Yelp
Avocado heaven! The Brunch avocado was fabulous, super friendly people work there. I find the negative comments odd, but to each his own. Wishing you continued success Avocaderia! (sorry for my late review- I'm always tardy to the party)

Rene B.

Yelp
I was curious to try this spot as I love avocado but also realize they are now trendy. I headed out to Industry city and it was brunch time so time to try it. Me and the bf walked in and he immediately decided he wanted a burger and walked out. I kept the faith and ordered the prince salmon. It was ok but I was still hungry after eating it. I didn't think it was worth the money and there were no spicy greens as stated on the menu. My bf went to the meat shop around the corner and his pulled pork was amazing. Needless to say I had food envy.

Delisa M.

Yelp
Facebook Insider hyped this restaurant up for little reason. I was disappointed by the limit of options but surprised by the flavor of food. I got the "Chill Out" which is mashed avocado with chili flakes and a homemade lemon glaze on whole wheat toast. Also I was impressed by the pressed juice they offered, many flavors and they are refreshing! I tried the beet and ginger juice (definitely wakes you up) I'm giving this a 3.5 because I could make this at home for half the price ‍ 6.50 for the sandwich and 3.50 for the juice.

Daisy H.

Yelp
Ummm for a place that's named Avocaderia, I'd expect their avocados to be fresh. But it wasn't. I ordered this via Seamless and was excited to have some good salad and willing to pay the price thinking it'd be like sweetgreen or something. But it was so underwhelming. The salad bowl was small, the ingredients were not fresh... it just felt like a rip-off. I really wanted to like it but unfortunately, I won't be ordering here again. :(

Michelle T.

Yelp
When they first opened up, I got the "Let It Beet." It was supposed to come with avocado slices according to all of their pictures on their website and instagram, but instead I got guacamole. I docked a star because that seemed like false advertising. Luckily though, I really like guacamole and it was actually really delicious. It was pricy for avocado on toast, but I honestly don't think I would have been able to make this specific avocado toast because there were so many different flavors that blended together well. The guys at the shop were also really friendly and handed out free guac and chips! They have since changed their menu and I'm planning on going back to try their new stuff because they all sound really interesting.

Tracy T.

Yelp
So here I was, at Avocaderia, wanting to try something different. I've seen multiple avocado posts on IG that made me want to give this place a try. I decided to try the Avoburger. Buns are replaced with avocado, stuffed with quinoa, salmon slices I believe it was, served with a side of salad, and chips. There were probably more added to the burger, but I can't recall aha. Anyway, the "burger" was about $14. Pretty pricey!! When I got my burger, I was not impressed. Lol! It looked like they just served the whole avocado over a salad, but when you pull the halves of the avocado apart, there was the quinoa and other goodies, hiding! So taking the bite, I didnt enjoy it. It's kind of difficult to explain how it tasted to me. It was weird at first, but it started tasting good, but after a couple more bites, I wasn't feeling it. Hmm. I really enjoyed the avocado itself with the salad, though. LOL! All I can say is, at least I gave it a shot!

Toni N X.

Yelp
Love this place! The food is fresh and tasty. Since it's all avocado, I usually get this and one other thing in the food hall to mix it up. Nearby there's a butchershop sandwich place, ramen, korean bbq/soontofu, bakery, etc. The avo toasts are great and just as described. I really liked the pumpkin avo soup. The flavors were well balanced, and well, who doesn't like a great soup in the chilly weather. This place is a must try! And they sell coffee drinks too.

Katy Z.

Yelp
I was so excited to come here for my birthday..but was a bit of a disappointment. I ordered the Avo Brunch and added smoked salmon to it...there's a poached egg on it but it wasn't cooked at all, even the white part was raw! I was scared to eat it, so I didn't..it leaked all over the toast so I removed it...only to find the salmon was an off color, almost brown looking..so I removed that...then the smashed avocado underneath had obviously been made with an old avocado be it was brown also! What a waste of $16! The salads and the juice were good though.

Yelp
Loving it. Got the Mediterranean toast and a matcha smoothie. Absolutely delicious. Such a cute place! Only trouble is now I want everything to eat in this cute industry city spot!!! There's no dedicated tables here, you'll find plenty of common space to eat and sit, like a hipster food market!

Yelp
As an avocado aficionado, I was really looking forward to this restaurant but ended up leaving a bit disappointed. My mom and I split the Bombay quinoa bowl and the mediterranean. 1) Bombay quinoa bowl was quinoa, spinach, curried cauliflower, sweet potatoes, chickpeas, Brussels sprouts, avocado and coconut curry dressing. Not bad, but I would have expected better presentation from an instagram place like this. It was a bit messy as you can see from the picture. Portion size was huge and there were so many goods packed inside. a good portion of avocado as well. 2) Mediterranean toast was very underwhelming. there was so little avocado - the olive tapenade was very overpowering, and neither of us liked the taste of it. Again, the presentation wasn't great. I expected the focus to be more on the avocado, seeing as this is an avocado-focused shop. A bit overpriced, even considering the fact that everything has avocado on it. Probably won't return - there are better places to get great avocado toast.

Yelp
I had their avo burger.. So yummy! My friend had a yummy toast with avocado slices and poached egg. It might've been an avo club. The place had a long line but was totally worth-it! May seem like a small portion at first but soon after you start to eat, you'll feel full! If you go with friends, try to get someone to hold seats beforehand.

Yelp
My coworkers and I made our way to industry city to try this. I will say, that I agree this place is definitely overhyped. I got the breakfast avo, which was one piece of toast with a ton of avocado and boiled egg. The avocado was okay, the egg was perfect. A few other things- it took me 20 mins to get my food. Not cool at all, especially because when we ordered there wasn't a line. The team did offer me a free beverage, but I wanted to leave at that point. I probably won't go back.

Yelp
I was really excited to try this place, but was a little underwhelmed with what I actually got. I ordered the Chill Out, the Beets & Blue salad, and the avo chocolate mousse. Frankly, the Chill Out was not very impressive...the spicy flakes and oil didn't do much in terms of adding flavor or depth to that toast. It just tasted like avocado on top of a piece of bread--very one note. Maybe I'm just used to having some lemon juice in my avocado to give it a hit of acid. The Beets & Blue was much more impressive in terms of presentation and taste. I enjoyed the dressing with the watermelon radish, beets, and blue cheese. My issue with this dish is that I don't feel like the avocado added much. It was placed in the salad in the form of chunky cubes and would have been fine without it, which isn't what you expect from a place dedicated to avocados. Lastly, I finished with their avo chocolate mousse for dessert. It looked very unimpressive and TINY, considering it was 7 dollars. I guess I can understand after tasting it...it was sooooo sweet that I had trouble finishing it even with an additional person. To the mousse's credit, it did taste very strongly of an extremely concentrated mixture of fudge, which I guess is a good thing? I'm still confused about how I feel about this, because the strong flavor was good, but it was just too sweet to eat more than a spoonful at a time. Overall, considering I paid around $30 and left feeling rather unsatisfied, I wouldn't really recommend Avocaderia to the most dedicated of avocado lovers.

Yelp
I've seen this place on like one of those like food TV commercial / or maybe tasty videos, and was like oh my goodness, I have to go there. At first it was a bit tricky to figure out where this place was but luckily I found it. It's kind of near a food court so there's a bunch of like different types of foods nearby along with seating outside. It's pretty busy here so get in line as soon as possible. I think the service was pretty fast if you're getting something pretty easy to make. However if you're getting more of the fancier salad or menu items it will probably be like a five-minute wait, depending on how long they take. I really just enjoy the display of their menu and just how colorful and unique it was hung up on the wall. The smoothie I got was really delicious a little sick but pretty good for avocado inside. Everything literally has avocado in it how awesome. I'd say the prices are pretty decent.

Yelp
The best thing I tasted in Brooklyn. OMG - i want to try all your dishes but settled on Brunch which was fabulous. However, the egg should be steaming hot, not ice cold. We need to export this concept to every neighborhood in California! Creative and delicioso!
