Google
This place is, amazing 🤩 It is nestled in a cozy area where you are surrounded by 🎨 art. They have a great selection of hot and cold coffee's. A grab and go station, as well as Gizmo's Food Truck. I ordered the 3oz yama with hemp milk. Cheers !

Google
Coffee and vibes were really good. I enjoyed sitting there and relaxing. Lots of friendly people and comfortable seats. Neighborhood is amazing too. Coffee took a bit longer than expected but it was worth the wait I think. I got a Latte, and my partner got iced coffee

Google
This place lives up the the hype in every way! Staff was extremely friendly and helped with reccomendations , lots of space and very open. Vanilla iced latte isnt too sweet and in ur face definitely reccomend if you don't like very sweet coffees , the bourbon latte iced is the perfect amount of sweetness and was sooo good! As well as their matcha! Oh and almost forgot that choclate crossaint was so flaky and yum! And refill coffees are only 5 bucks! and once again great staff and atmosphere , cant wait to come back

I'm happy that I finally got to visit this coffee shop out. The Texas bourbon butterscotch latte was to die for. I would highly recommend it.

Google
Treat yourself! You deserve it! This place has been one of our go to coffee shops in the area for years now. Their vanilla lattes are amazing ! They have a wide selection of coffees with beans that are not over roasted in my opinion most of the time the coffee taste like it was just roasted right before I got there! Unlike some of the other chain coffee shops, this is local good quality coffee . I will tell you that during the day depending on the time it gets pretty busy people do like to hang out here with their laptops or book and get comfortable so make sure you come with a little time to spare if you’re wanting to hang out that way you can find a place to sit . Go ahead stop by you won’t regret it !

Google
Love their coffee! The Misty Valley roast is awesome. Love the Pellegrino with the espresso.

Google
I have been coming here for 10+ years and it never lets me down. I wish I could come all the time but it’s a bit out of the way for me but it’s always on the list when me and my husband have a quiet weekend or I’d like some alone time to read. Pastries are always fresh and delicious as well as the coffee. Our staple drink is always a mocha and it’s probably the best mocha you can find locally. It always perfect. I tend to order mine half sweet and it’s just as delicious. Highly recommend and the staff is always the BEST!

Used to study here all the time in college. Came back to visit while in Fort Worth and the coffee still taste great and the employees are still nice. I

Yelp
Driving through from Kansas. A lot of coffee shops were closed today due to it being Christmas Eve. We stumbled across this shop and I'm happy we did. The employees were very welcoming and kind. We got a bourbon latte and a Cortado. Both were so good. My daughter got the brownie and it was yummy and gooey! I prefer this coffee over the Cherry Coffee company down the street.

Yelp
Avoca Coffee Roasters is a really cute coffee shop in Fort Worth! The space is pretty large and I loved all the mismatched decor. I stopped in on a Saturday morning and it was really busy. There is a decent amount of seating inside and outside, but it fills up quickly. The baristas are really nice and work efficiently to get your order out as soon as possible. I got a drip coffee with lavender syrup which I really enjoyed. I also got the almond croissant, which was good, but not my favorite as the almond filling was super chunky rather than smooth marzipan. There are tons of outlets and 2 clean, unisex bathrooms. Everyone was really friendly and the whole place had a great vibe. I spent an hour or two reading here and will definitely come back in the future.

Robbie T.

Yelp
This place is SO cute! The people there were so sweet! The coffee was AMAZING!! And the scones are a must!!!

Fatima C.

Yelp
Tried this place after hearing people rave about it on TikTok. I ended up ordering a butterscotch latte with oat milk. I didn't find this to be anything special. It tasted more like a light caramel latte with cinnamon powder, and the milk had a strong oat after taste. Service is lackluster and the employee at the register acted as though I was bothering her. As my first time here, I heard they offer a lot of seasonal options so I was inquiring about what they have since it wasn't on the board. The ambiance allows for a nice place to come and work, read or chat with friends. There's more seating towards the right side of the cafe. I did notice a food truck/van outside. As I came on a Saturday afternoon I'm not sure if it's affiliated and its hours of operation. But there are picnic type tables outside which is nice for those looking to grab a coffee and food items. There is a parking lot but its a mess filled with potholes. I would be weary if you care and park on the street instead. If in the area, I would still recommend. My service was just not that great.'They do over different syrup options for their lattes compared to some other coffee shops I've been to in DFW.

Tara C.

Yelp
First of all, environment is very cool, hip and trendy. Big enough to host leather lounge seats and tables for those needing to work/spread out. The seasonal butterscotch coffee is very delicious. I am deducting 2 stars because I can't stand to have plastic when I am ordering in. Give me a real cup. The barista did say it was due to not having many cups for cold drinks. Otherwise will go again and likely order a hot coffee to get a real cup. Hopefully the experience will be better then.

Sonia V.

Yelp
The ambiance & vibe of this place is kinda cool. Seems like a nice place to come and bring a book or laptop and get some good hours in on some work or me-time. Came here with the family and none of us are from Texas so we tried to ask about some recommendations or if they have any specialty drinks and the barista was just not the friendliest and she kept mumbling so I felt bad having to ask her to repeat herself. I ended up ordering a latte with lavender syrup with half & half. Another barista that was making the drinks while others were ordering and I'm standing near the bar area and you can clearly hear him talking mad crap about dairy products and yes, we're all entitled to our feelings about things but maybe not talk loudly about it with customers around. Definitely one of those "expressing your ick is giving me ick." Bad vibes from someone making your drink makes you receive it with less joy for sure. Overall, nothing special about the drinks and the service could use work. Just not personable people here. Music was good though and there are plenty of tables to find seating.

Ria B.

Yelp
Avoca is on of my favorite places to grab coffee and study in Fort Worth. I love their seasonal drinks especially their Gingerbread Latte! It really felt like the flavors were really well done together. Their cinnamon rolls are also amazing. Plenty of charging ports but it can get busy sometimes so can be hard to find a spot to sit. One thing I love about the place is the baristas! All of them are so kind and welcoming. Truly love Avoca.

Morgan M.

Yelp
Wasn't feeling this place. Came in on a rather slow evening with a date and our drinks took over 15 minutes to make, were not the right drinks ordered (had to be remade), and the staff was disaffected. I don't care how cool you think you are in your twenties, clientele matters. Regulars happen with the right attitude. These guys have too much sass for the amount of coffee shops in Fort Worth, and nothing they serve is extra special from their competitors. Not recommended.

Meghan W.

Yelp
This is a great small coffee shop that is always a relaxing respite from one's busy schedule. They have a large selection of freshly brewed coffees and a wide array of teas. In terms of food, they offer pastries and sandwiches. You'll find everyone from couples, families, students and those who work from "home" enjoying the ambiance. There isn't a huge amount of parking, so depending on the time of day, it may be kind of difficult to find a space. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area!

Julianna G.

Yelp
I've visited here a few times. Love the location, but the vibes inside feel a bit tense and the coffee just isn't really my favorite.

Diana C.

Yelp
We stumbled upon Avoca on a rainy Friday night around 7pm. Walking in, the dimly lit Halloween decorated cafe was nearly desolate, except one customer sitting at a table. We ordered a hot latte to share and it was made quickly. I was pretty excited to try my first coffee in Fort Worth, but unfortunately was let down. The bitterness of the coffee, paired with a lack of depth was disappointing. I do think that some of it is definitely personal preference, so it could just be that this coffee wasn't for me. Overall, I don't see the appeal of Avoca and would likely not return.

James H.

Yelp
Really bad drip coffee. Very very bitter. I suggest a cappuccino or allot of sweetener to mask the coffee.

Whitney D.

Yelp
Meh, it's ok. Coffee was decent, the music was blaring, & seating was ok. Better than the chain down the street? Yes. It would have been nice if they would not have allowed people to come in off the streets to ask for money. That was incredibly uncomfortable. A patron even reminded one of the ladies asking for money that he already had been hit up by her & given her money earlier in the day. Clearly it's something they're ok with and allow.

Rhea H.

Yelp
The baristas here are incredibly rude, the atmosphere feels stale and unclean and the coffee was just not good. I do not recommend.

Laurel C.

Yelp
I go here multiple times a week and absolutely love their coffee!! The staff are always friendly, atmosphere is hip and clean, and their lattes are delicious!

Anh V.

Yelp
Best coffee I've had in DFW. Everything about my latte was perfect. I like how our barista asked how hot we'd like our beverages. The croissant was also excellent! The space was conformable and eclectic. Definitely felt like we could spend a long time enjoying ourselves. If you are in the area, I recommend giving Avoca a try above and beyond the other coffee places.

Andrew G.

Yelp
7-11 has better tasting coffee than this and that says a lot. Order a mocha drink and by far the worst mocha drink I have ever had

Linda U.

Yelp
Their mocha coffee is to die for. The way they do their reverse osmosis cleaning system makes the coffee taste perfect. I wish that they had more food choices, however, the coffee keeps me coming back over and over again.!!

Ray A.

Yelp
Located in the stockyards by the drover Hotel in Fort Worth lovely place to sit and lookout of the window as people walk by. try the blueberry coconut lemonade, and the Charlie Sheen cold brew is what I recommend I

Jack B.

Yelp
Asked for a cold brew light ice and they didn't fill it up all the way. I asked if it was because they measure it out instead of filling it to the top and they said yes. I don't want to buy coffee from a loser nerd so I wont be coming back.

April R.

Yelp
The person I spoke with behind the counter was so rude to me. I asked if they had non-fat or 2% milk (which they don't) and they were so happy to tell me no. No offerings of other milks or upsell of alternative items, no sympathy, they were just so elated to tell me no. I said, "Okay thank you, I don't think I will get anything" and they said "yay" as I walked away. My partner and I found that to that attitude to be so bad that this was our first time here and we will never come back.

Slinky B.

Yelp
Spencer, our barista was super sweet and made some amazing coffee. ! I was mistaken when I ordered the Charlie sheen and didn't know it had Coke in it. I don't drink Coke, but without complaining, she took it back and made something different for me. She was such a sweetheart, and I appreciate the great customer service.

Kay K.

Yelp
TLDR; decent coffee and bakery items, plenty of natural light and plugs/outlets Recently moved to the area and have been a couple of times now. Tried the house coffee and both an iced and hot mocha latte. Not the biggest fan of the house drip, but I'm more of an espresso person anyway. The hot mocha is definitely better than iced -- iced had an almost chalky texture but still tasted fine. Cinnamon roll was pretty average, but they didn't warm them up. Best thing about this place is the space itself. Several different areas to sit: couches, chairs, smaller tables, big tables, small booths. And of outlets/plugs all over the place. They also have several giant garage doors that give tons of natural light and I'm sure make the place feel amazing in cooler weather. The staff has also been very friendly!

Gustavo R.

Yelp
Chill vibes & plenty of space for work! Avoca delivers on sweet, sweet coffee roasts & an environment to foster productivity.

David M.

Yelp
Excellent service and really fantastic cappuccino. Nice place to sit enjoy a caffeine indulgence.

Alisha S.

Yelp
Loud coffee shop especially when it's busy. But there are several spots for seating. I got a chai latte and it was a little spicy! Haha. I think it had a bit of ginger/cardamom added. But staff was super sweet!

Laura A.

Yelp
Have spent many hours at Avoca - nice seating but it's often times busy and can be difficult to find a place to sit (Magnolia location). Today a homeless lady came in asking customers sitting at tables for money and none of the employees said anything to her or asked her to leave, unfortunately. One employee was super sweet to us and had the most pleasant personality, another scolded me for taking my receipt off the printer, demanding next time I ask her to give it to me instead (?!?!?). The baked items they have are quite tasty although often times are sold out of certain varieties. There is an exit door on the back of the building that slams loud whenever people come or go through that door. 3 stars overall for me. Will keep coming back but would like to see the homeless not be allowed to solicit and the customers be treated more respectfully than I was about the receipt.

Eddie Q.

Yelp
Coffee is great and staff is polite, and friendly, I will return for sure, also due to its cleanliness, I was able to enjoy my visit

Avery J.

Yelp
good atmosphere for getting work done. lots of seating options - tables, couches, benches. got a new orleans style cold brew for $6 - it's more caffeinated and creamier than a regular cold brew. pretty average prices.

Omar A.

Yelp
Best espresso I had in town so far. Get the cortado and thank me later. Great shots and great service.

Jesus G.

Yelp
Been back several times. A bit out of the way for me. My wife's and my doctors have office nearby. Good coffee and a casual atmosphere. The neighborhood is getting SUPER gentrified.

Reigh E.

Yelp
The best iced mocha in town. They get their chocolate from Wiseman House in Hico - which is the most amazing chocolatier. I've noticed they've been getting more adventurous with their seasonal offerings which is fun. The seating is pretty extensive but parking can be a challenge when they are super busy. A lot of the long time staff know me by name now - I've been coming here for 6 years steadily!

Ashley G.

Yelp
Super cute coffee place in a great location! I got the New Orleans style Coke Brew with oat milk and it was 10/10. It had the perfect ratio of coffee flavor and sweetness. There's indoor and outdoor seating which is great!

Taylor F.

Yelp
Very wonderful atmosphere! Beautiful plants that are well groomed which gives me a feeling of delight as I pay $6.50 for an iced coffee, which then gives me an opposite feeling of delight. But then I remember that it's small business & that I'm a tourist so I oblige. But in all seriousness this is a nice place to work & drink coffee. It's a large quiet space with really delicious treats that are made literally right down the road too!

Amanda M.

Yelp
Avoca has to be one of my top favorite coffee shops!! It is spacious but still homey. It is a good place to study but also a good place to hang out. No matter what you are looking for in a coffee shop, Avoca can deliver that!! For the most part, the workers are friendly. Some more so than others. There are plenty of tables and sitting areas spread throughout, and I have never had trouble finding a place to claim. There is nothing worse than walking into a coffee shop but having to leave due to not finding a spot. My favorite drink of theirs is their mocha. It is divine. So chocolatey yet not overpowering. It has the perfect amount of sweetness and wakes you up just right! They also offer pastries to snack on, but I have yet to try these. Maybe next time I am in!

Debbie L.

Yelp
The Flavor and texture were out of this world! My daughter and I found ourselves with an hour to burn and stopped in for a cappuccino and latte. The ambiance was welcoming and the team was so friendly. A great stop-over!

Sara C.

Yelp
I have tried New Orleans coffee once at a cafe in Austin and so it was awesome to see someone in Dallas have it too. I love the vibe here. Not too loud and not too small. There are lots of big windows so a lot of natural lighting. The baristas here were very nice. I shared a cheesecake with a friend and it was pretty delicious. I love their coffee! Americano isn't too watered down like some places. and yes the New Orleans coffee was awesome! The small town this cafe is located is very cute and good vibes. There are other cafes around but I'm glad I chose this one. I do recommend this cafe and will definitely will be coming back.

Sandy H.

Yelp
Wanted to try a new coffee shop and enjoyed coming here. It smells so good inside, fresh brew coffee. Enjoyed my latee and the vibes we chill. Clean Coffee shop and the staff was very nice. They also had a bench to sit outside.

Skylar T.

Yelp
Love Avoca - always go out of our way to stop by when in town. But don't shut off all your machines 30+ minutes before you close? If so, why don't you just change the closing time? 1) Ordered a pastry that needed to be heated up, but the oven was off for the night. 2) Ordered an iced latte and was told it's 10 minutes as they had already cleaned the machines for the night 3) Ordered a drip but there was no drip as it had already been cleaned for the night - Americano was all they could do (totally fine, works for me) but was also 10 minutes due to the machine being off. Wife grabbed her latte once it was ready and the backhanded comment from the barista was "alright that's it I'm shutting it off for good" but it was still 20 minutes before closing... Not to mention all chairs were already stacked on tables with nowhere to sit.

Hyun P.

Yelp
Love this coffee shop, great coffee, great vibe, plenty of seatings with bright natural lighting

Osiris A.

Yelp
I love this place, I just wish they stay open late... Everyone here is friendly, they coffee is good and way better than Starbucks - mind blowing- I like coming here when I have time, they close super early during the weeks and weekends but it surely is a nice place to hangout. They are LGBT friendly, and the place is big, social distancing can be a little hard to do in places like this but they make sure to clean the area. The coffee is great! I love they make a cute design every time you order a coffee. -It makes me happy.

Rachel T.

Yelp
Possibly the best coffee in Fort Worth, in my opinion. A blend between a lighter roast and dark, some would call it medium. Very smooth and delicious! Staff is super friendly and hospitable, cool inside space, never a long wait for a good cup of joe. Chocolate chip cookies are pretty good too! Definitely worth the stop in!

Andrew M.

Yelp
I love LOVE LOOOOOOVE Avoca Coffee Roasters. This is my "go-to" coffee shop in Fort Worth, Texas. They are located on Magnolia Ave which is one of the up and coming artsy areas of the Southside of Downtown. It's really becoming a hip place and it speaks to the creative side of me. The coffee is bold and flavorful. They have a wide array of dairy alternatives, which is fantastic. I suggest the coconut milk or Oat Milk. I selected a Vanilla Latte with Oat milk and it was simply perfection. Hit the spot and made me want to pack up the store And bring it home to San Antonio with me. If you're in Fort Worth and you like coffee houses, this. Is. the. Place.

Jessica T.

Yelp
Delicious coffee. Super yummy sweets too. I ordered a mocha hot coffee, double chocolate chip cookie and a snickerdoodle cookie. Perfect. Also, great study space. Comfy, but it's a popular spot, so it's hot and miss on seating space. Just FYI. And if you are there strictly for the caffeine high, you won't be disappointed. I had ONE mocha coffee at 4pm....I was up until 1:30am and only slept because I made myself...woke up the next morning still tripping on the same caffeine high, amazing . But what was scary was that I sat next to a girl that had two cups of coffee in a row . These are good portions too.

Ryne T.

Yelp
I live up the street and come here a few times a week. The New Orleans cold brew is amazing, and if you really want a caffeine rush, try the Charlie Sheen (cold brew with Coca Cola). Interior is cozy and the people are friendly. I recommend to Fort Worth locals or anyone stopping through.

Erica H.

Yelp
Came in for the first time as we were walking down Magnolia. Tried the a "Charlie Sheen" and a mocha with a vegan chocolate chip cookie. Definitely nice coffee shop vibe with the ambiance and soothing music in the background. The mocha was delicious along with the cookie.

Tram N.

Yelp
Cute place but parking is not so great. The chai tea latte here is really good! They don't add water so you can really taste the spices from the tea.

Katy R.

Yelp
Excellent little spot on trendy Magnolia St in FTW. Coffee shop sits on one end of Magnolia street so a bit easier to find some parking as the crowd thins a bit here but still close enough to walk to the rest of magnolia. I had a latte and said no to the treats which was not easy to do since they have lots of yummy options! Friendly staff, quick work of the coffee and it came out just the way you want from a coffee shop -hot, well made, creamy with that Instagram worth design in the middle. There is quite a bit of seating which is not the norm for most coffee shops. Probably upwards of 15 tables 2-4 tops plus a few couches and chairs mixed in.

Hannah S.

Yelp
Let's keep this short, sweet and to the point. The mocha from Avoca... true life changer my friends, true life changer.
