The service, decor, and food were exceptional. For a large restaurant, the ambiance is warm and welcoming. Plus, the menu was excellent yet unpretentious. I met up with family for dinner on short notice. It's my brother-in-law's favorite restaurant, and he returns again and again with friends and family. We made late reservations, and the staff allowed us to linger past midnight. It's a great place for large and small gatherings. Highly recommended.

It was a surprisingly pleasant new restaurant for me. It is an amazing place. The location, the public, the ambience and design and the space between people and their tables, the menu (a great fusion of Mediterranean with a good kick of Greek and so healthy and delicious food), the wine of the best quality and taste, very nice and helpful staff, fantastic fish and seafood buffet ( all super fresh on the hill of ice), the salads, vegetables and the way of serving food and (attention!) one of the best steaks I have ever had at the restaurant, the soft light and nice music, everybody could talk to each other and hear each other, not scream contest but relaxing restaurant, all these details together made my evening and the dinner I had that night remembered the older times at an European high class restaurant. The impression of 5 stars. I highly recommend to visit this place, I am so sure you will enjoy your experience.

All the food was really enjoyable. We had the lunch menu it it was fantastic. The branzino was fresh and delicious. Also, the lamb chops were perfectly cooked to medium rare. Staff were very professional and service was on point through the whole meal. We'll definitely be back for dinner to enjoy more of the fish or seafood dishes.

Got the lunch special and it was delicious! Great flavor and texture in the branzino, and we loved the tuna tartare and dips. We didn’t have a reservation but were able to get a seat outdoors. Would definitely come back!

This is a very nice restaurant with all the fine touches... from changing your silverware and table cloth between courses to personally being taken to select your own fish to be prepared. There are 2 floors and the videos show the downstairs area. All the food was delicious. The baklava wasn't very good but that could be because I'm very particular about baklava. I highly recommend.

Had a fantastic dining experience at Avra! Opted for the $38 pre-fixed lunch and wasn't disappointed. Started with the delicious Spreads, followed by a perfectly cooked Branzino, and topped off with a delightful Orange Cake for dessert. The Malbec paired beautifully with the meal. Shoutout to Lindsay at the bar for exceptional service – truly AMAZING! Highly recommend for both quality food and a great atmosphere. #GreatExperience

As a regular patron who frequents this Greek restaurant weekly for lunch at various locations, I have always been impressed by the delicious food and exceptional service provided. However, during my recent visit, the main manager, Stefani, unfortunately tarnished my experience with her rude behavior. This incident stood out starkly against the backdrop of the consistently high-quality service and cuisine that I have come to expect from this establishment. Despite my loyalty to this restaurant, Stefani's actions on this occasion left a sour note and significantly detracted from an otherwise enjoyable dining experience.

Avra is always a good choice. Fun atmosphere, great food and professional service. I love the hummus and olives and flat bread they bring to the table. I always enjoy the chicken. Very pretty place and fun to people watch. Great neighborhood I love Midtown East, next to the park.
