Awesome Thai Restaurant

As out of towners, my husband and I love trying new restaurants and this trip we found Awesome Thai and decided to try it. We had the most amazing Thai food, from the rangoons to the drunken noodles. We also tried the beef jerky and Tom Kha soup. Everything was so awesome! Guess that's how they came up with the name! I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant when in the area! PSA Learned it was under new ownership and was impressed at how well it was run within only the first month!

Was by myself on a business trip and would love to try a couple things without wasting. The owner accommodated me as much as she can and created this perfect meal for me! Thank you and will be back again!

Well, as many of the other reviews have put, I ordered off Uber eats. And, like many others, the food was rather disappointing. Sure, the portion was large, but the noodles were dry, and the (little bit of) sauce had no real flavor. Just some kind of spice/heat. The noodles were unevenly cooked. Half were soft and the other half were stuck together and hard. I paid for extra chicken, so I at least got a decent portion of that. I suggest avoiding this place. Yes, they are open late, but if you value quality, it's worth waiting until tomorrow for another restaurant to be open.

I ordered the drunken noodles with tofu, and they did not disappoint. The tofu was perfectly crisp, and the basil and seasoning were a chef’s kiss. The noodles were soft and felt unprocessed. I'm staying at the Virgin Hotel, where the food isn't very appetizing, so I've been using DoorDash. So far, this has been my favorite dish. Chef’s kiss to Awesome Thai!

Came back and the food was an embarrassment. I don't know what happened new chefs or what? It was such a disappointing second experience. It was so good our first time. I ordered the orange chicken again and we decided to try something new, the papaya salad and the calamari as our appetizer. The only good and edible food was the calamari. Orange chicken was completely different compared to last time, and portion was way smaller. The sauce was extremely sticky and didn't have any taste. Papaya salad was drowned in vinegar and was very sad looking. I should've just cooked at home. Not to mention the slow, inattentive service. The guy who was waiting on us wrote down our order, repeated it to us and still forgot forgot our Thai iced tea. I didn’t care to remind him because I was already unhappy with how slow and gross the food was. It wasn't even busy with two other tables who were halfway finished when we arrived. Sad because this one of the only late night Thai restaurants here. Update: Since I was dissatisfied with this experience, I contacted them and have yet to receive any response. I disputed the charge and successfully received my money back! Will never dine here again.

I ordered this restaurant through postmates, the reviews seemed good. 4.4 for 3,000+ reviews seems like pretty good odds. Maybe my fault for ordering late, but i got the large tom yum soup and it was awful. Watery and sour. No nuance of flavour at all. And wasn’t cheap to boot…

Had to leave a great review for this restaurant because the other reviews did not seem fair. Like others, I ordered from this restaurant because the one I typically ordered from was already closed. Yes, it was 1 AM but who even sleeps in Vegas? Anyway, we were staying at Encore and wanted the food ASAP so this was right up our alley. We're suckers for pad see ew so we typically base the quality of food off of this one dish, but for some reason we felt like ordering the orange chicken. The orange chicken was absolutely delicious and while I do agree that there is a lot of steamed rice to go with it, I can't consider that to be a negative thing when there was a lot of orange chicken to begin with. Now I'm not sure if the potstickers were given to us as a thank you for ordering from their restaurant or by pure mistake, so if this was the former then I am running with it because I found it a rather fortuitous occurrence. It came with its own sauce that isn't pictured but wow did I forget how good a potsticker could be! In any case, I hope that more people review this restaurant and give it a shot. The pad see ew wasn't my absolute favorite but it's still a great option if you're looking for that post-nightlife meal.

I placed an order with this bogus restaurant that cost me $85.. I used chow now for the delivery. The driver stole my food! Never called to ask directions or anything. The driver said the food was delivered when it wasn’t. When I called the restaurant they told me that they will not refund my money and chow now isn’t refunding my money. I am very upset and want to let everyone know that this restaurant will steal your money and not deliver your food. Do not take the chance! They have horrible customer service and do not respect long time customers. This place sucks!! Do not spend your money here!

I love Awesome Thai! Their food is addicting. The service is always great and quick for the most part. I always order online and they've never messed up an order. This is my goto place for Thai food!

I was craving Thai and I'm so disappointed. Spent over $80 on uber eats to get 2 pork shu mai, dumplings, Tom yum soup, and yellow curry... The shu mai has no flavor, the dumplings are the same. And the Tom yums meat is rubbery and old. The flavor isn't like other Tom yums. The only thing I kind of enjoyed was the yellow curry. And that was only for the flavor, the meat was the same rubbery texture as the Tom yum soup. Just disappointed i spent over $80 on food I'm going to throw away.

This review is just for the food since we ordered off UberEats. It's ok. The packaging could use some work-- one of the styrofoam boxes had a dime-sized hole melted in the corner (???) and another box was leaking. CRAB FRIED RICE: Pretty good with their spicy garlic sauce! Big portions. Rice is fluffy and flavorful, topped with lots of crab. CRAB RANGOONS: Free with the crab fried rice. It's fine. 99% cream cheese. PANANG CURRY (with chicken): Comes with rice. Adequate amount of chicken and veg. The curry is thin and not as rich or flavorful as panang curries I'm used to in the bay. Lacked a depth of spice. Still, it was serviceable as a meal. CUSTARD BUNS: ... Don't bother with these. Super tiny and the custard is the texture of dried yolk. I think they're bulk ordered pre-made from some wholesaler and half-heartedly steamed. Kinda pricy but I guess that's just Vegas/tourist tax? Still a decent option considering late night eats. We were just glad to grab something after our flight.

We're in Vegas just for the day and happened to be passing by and stopped in for dinner. To be honest, it doesn't look like much from the outside, but the old adage fits here--don't judge a book by its cover. We are so glad we stepped through the doors. The place is spacious, the wait staff is beyond friendly, and the food is delicious. My hubby had the Pad Thai and I had a salmon curry and a traditional pork sausage appetizer. Everything was delicious, so flavorful and fresh. We didn't even have to wait long to be served. Overall, we had such a wonderful experience, we're going to make a point to eat at Awesome Thai any time we're in Vegas.

Really wanted to like this place and I feel really bad for doing this. But I have to keep the honesty. Came here on a late night cause I wanted Thai food and my coworker wanted gyoza. Got there and it was empty. Late night so didn't think too much of it. Was going to dine in but the guy who was taking order seemed like he didn't care for having us stay there. So we decided to take it to go. We asked if they had anything similar to gyoza and right away the guy said, "I do not know, let me get the person that would." And out comes an elderly lady that seemed like she was cooking also. I then said oh never mind as I found the dim sum and potstickers. The lady then walked to the back. I chose the chicken pad Thai, which was bland and didn't have much flavor. The poh tok though was really good! Almost similar to sinigang soup, just not as sour. My coworker got the orange chicken and rice which she barely ate. Just the customer service and lack of knowledge about the menu was not a good look on the guy taking orders. He had to ask us multiple times what we ordered as we thought he was writing it down. He kept forgetting my coworkers drink and asked her what she wanted multiple times. Maybe just bad timing on when we got there?

Since the beginning of the Vegas trip, I have been craving Thai food. And so my boyfriend made the effort to look for one to satisfy my cravings. We finally went inside and ordered our food. Things we ordered: yellow curry, druken noodles (pork), and drunken noodles x2 (beef). The yellow curry was good, loved the amount of flavoring in it. I'm not a fan of drunken noodles, more of a pad thai fan but this one was decent! The main reason for the three stars instead of four was because there was some error in the bill and the owner was struggling to communicate that and gave us less money than what was owed. We tried to talk it out but it was going in circles and we had places to go. That circumstance was a little unfortunate but we still cherished our visit.

Walked here ftom Westgate resort. They had tasty authentic, fresh dishes at 9:30pm. Nice quiet atmosphere. Good family owned-operated thai restaurant.

We must have arrived a little late as the sign on the door said pickup only, but someone saw us and invited us in. We had a very nice dinner, my PadThai was fresh and tasty. Our server was very friendly and attentive and my friends enjoyed their meals as well.

Every time we are in LV we have to stop here.. love their food.. it's a little different this year but still recommend ppl to stop on by when in Vegas...

My honest opinion! Uber eats Ordered pork siomai and grilled pork and they're not good at all! Grilled pork was highly rated also but no never again! Sucks when you feel like you wasted money on something you didn't enjoy at all!

Was on the strip all day and finally decided to go back to our hotel super late at night. Looking for somewhere to eat around our hotel that late was not easy until we found this place. We ordered orange chicken, fried rice and Chow mein. The food overall was decent but I feel it was lacking flavor. I'm used to Chow mein being a brownish color due to the soy sauce and everything else added but this one was the color of a regular noodle. Food was average so probably won't be returning but we were starving at the moment it was the best we could get.

Great. I had Pad Thai with Tofu. I chose level 3 medium, and found it a tad spicier than expected, to the level that you feel more burn and lose the enjoyment of all the flavors. If ai went mild to medium which is the 2, it would have kept the spicy without overpowering. Regardless, great Thai.

I always order food. I'm a huge fan of Thai food. Awesome Thai is great because you can order all night long (I work very late). However, the food is really solid. I always order the basil chicken and basil chicken friend rice. I've probably ordered literally hundreds of times across my life time. It's the main dish of Thai street food. But it's solid. It's very good. As is the basil chicken fried rice. Massive portions and the flavor is great. When you ask for a 10 they give you a 10. Traditionally this should be made with Thai Chiles but heat was created by using crushed red pepper. None the less a solid experience. This is not the absolute best Thai restaurant in Las Vegas, but still very good of you're looking for a late night Thai fix.

10/10 !! Food was perfect, drunken noodles and mango sticky rice ~best in Vegas for sure! I didn't catch the host name but he was amazing! Great service, restaurant was completely empty just my friend and I on a Sunday night so it was def a vibeeee! He was busy with pick up orders but was very attentive and had us laughing all night. Restaurant was 3 mins away walking from our hotel room so it was a great experience def will be back!

ordered delivery: Tom kha soup, papaya salad, chicken stir fry ginger, and a bottle of thai tea. Total came out to about $54 before the delivery fees. $10-12 more than I would expect, especially since only one item had any protein. Everything was well packaged. For $7.45, I assumed that the Thai tea would be bigger, but I super appreciate it being in a bottle, and it was reaaaallly good The Tom kha soup was literally the best I've ever had. 10/10 on flavor! It was the first thing I had ate in days because I wasn't feeling well and instantly soothed my stomach. It wasn't until after having the soup, that I could hold down water. The papaya salad & stir fry ginger was also great, I just expected the papaya salad to be more spicy At the extremely spicy level. There is only a few Thai spots that I enjoy in Vegas, and this one of them. Especially since the soup made me feel so much better.

I was disappointed in my order from here last night. I was craving drunken noodles and ordered off post mates from here for the first time because every Thai place makes great noodles and I've never had a problem. When I received them, I was first disappointed in portion. I couldn't even share with my roommate's because I could eat the whole thing myself which every other place fills the whole plate and not this one so only serving for one person and then I got medium which was bland so I had to put so much siracha. Was not a fan and will never order here again

I have gone here multiple times, the reason I do enjoy coming here is because it is usually empty, which is nice as a Vegas local. There isn't much of a wait time for seating, I always come for the coconut curry which is absolutely delicious. The restaurant is always clean. The reason as to why this does not get a higher review is because they need more people to work here. There is only one girl as a server and she also prepares all the doordash orders that this place is constantly getting. Since they are constantly receiving doordash orders, they certainly doing prioritize the door dash/online orders more than they do for their in person customers that are dining. The poor girl is always struggling which is so sad. On top of that the food is on the pricier side, for a nice meal of 2 people the total is usually more than $60, with appetizer and one meal each. I am not one to judge how they price things, but considering all the Thai restaurants in Vegas im sure there is a more affordable option. However, the food is always super delicious. I absolutely love their coconut curry, and their Thai tea is the star of the show. Overall, I still enjoy dining here.

If you love Larb, I highly recommend this place!! It's not sweet, the perfect lemon flavor paired with sticky rice.. YUMMM!! I love the fact they're open late and the service is fast. The restaurant itself can use a pick me up, but given the area is very fitting. I wouldn't recommend the calamari as it's wayyyy over priced for the amount they give you, however the taste is decent. My hubby loves the papaya salad so based on his review I would recommend also.

Stayed at the Hilton which didn't have a restaurant on the premises so forced to use Uber Eats for delivery. Luckily, discovered this awesome Thai restaurant online that opens late and offers so many specials. The pad Thai set comes with a side of pot stickers and Thai iced tea. The papaya salad was one of the best and freshest I've tasted. The green curry could be a little more spicy and the option for brown rice would be better. Portion sizes are huge as I had plenty leftover for the following day. Prices are great, but Uber Eats added so many surcharge my $50 tab turned into $70!

Ordered this for delivery. Got the fried rice with chicken and the chicken satay. Both were very delicious! Can't say much about the service or the ambiance but the food was great quality!

I see a lot of great reviews for this restaurant. But to me, is just a-okay. When I first walked in, I felt that they are in the process of moving in. lol I'm not kidding, is like boxes behind the counter, there is a small stage, but the wires are everywhere, is dark, and I don't mean one of those high end restaurants dark, this one here is more like they trying to save money on electricity dark. The food was so so, not as great as everyone reviews said it is, I don't know where them people been eating, but is not like WOW! More like is 3am, I'm hungry and this place is open. lol

Worst food ever, they couldn't pay me a 100 dollars to write a decent review. Steer clear of this place unless you want to be disappointed and feel sick the next day

For a hole-in-a-wall Thai place, the food is okay. There's nothing bad but nothing awesome, which would be fine if the price coincides and it doesn't. For the price, the food is subpar and messy and not really all that exciting. For chicken wings , pineapple fried rice, crispy pork, and papaya salad, the bill came out to almost ~$80 which I would've been fine with if the food delivered on the taste and it didn't. Service is nice enough and very attentive, but the place was dead empty and didn't seem that busy for a weekend dinner time, which is understandable in my opinion.

Portions were small, food was disappointing. Do not recommend at all..Fried rice was steamed not fried. Totally overpriced.

I would not recommend, foods are not good at all and over priced, sweet for all everything... if you do order make sure check your order, they would mess it up. I missed some parts of my order, tried to call back for 5 times, the guy ignored my call because he recognized my number. The reason why he knew my # because I had called him previously to confirm if my order went through. I will never ever come back.

I had a great time with my family with their food and karaoke! These are all the pictures of my food, this place is so amazing and the service is very good! We have a big party 15 people and we're so glad to know this place and" OF COURSE "we will come back !

First of all, Good food! And I appreciated they were open late on a Sunday. The service was a little off. We had to call the waitress over to take our order, refill our drinks and give us the check. She didn't check on us at all and never came over until we asked her to. I would order takeout, but because the service was so slow, I don't think I would dine in anymore.

Absolutely love this place! Not only is there food great, but the service as well. This is the second time we've associated with this restaurant and we couldn't be happier. This time we ordered delivery directly through the restaurant. I love how they put personal touches on the packaging. The delivery person was super nice too! We ordered the guay jub , and it was so super amazing. A must have after a long night of drinks. We also ordered the pork leg over rice ()..it was sooo good! I haven't had anything like this in a very long time.. Reminded me if my days in Thailand. We also ordered the sticky rice and bbq pork skewers , can't go wrong this! I always order Thai ice coffee.. It's a must have. Thanks for an awesome experience!

Best place to come at 4 am For some dank authentic Thai food. Highly recommend , right off the strip and very safe

Ordered postmates delivery from here today. It was good but not great. The curry was nice and spicy but had a bit of a weird taste that I couldn't put my finger on. Overall I enjoyed it. However, the spring rolls were dried out and had the weirdest flavor. I couldn't eat them. They also cut them into tiny pieces so all the stuffing fell out whenever you picked them up.

I came here twice, but the previous experience was a little bit better than recently because the food not only is very small in size compared to the other restaurants but also the food itself is not appetizing. The tofu is so hard and the Pad Thai is so so

Came here for to-go after work -- I was happy to find a Thai place open late.. Ordered pad see ew with pork, Panang curry with chicken, And Tom yum with vegetables. On the spice level, I REQUESTED ONE. ON THE SPICE LEVEL. maybe I should've zero just to drive the point home. As I'm eating it right now, it. is. spicy. For real. Flavor is there, but difficult to enjoy through the spicyness .. Service was fast and friendly I must say. Definitely gonna have to try again, but my weak sauce palette will be ordering a ZERO spice level.

Came to here last night for a bite to eat, we were greeted in not so friendly manner as the last time we ate at Awesome Thai. Ordered the Papaya Salad with shrimp - not the best choice, wish it tasted better the name, the orange chicken was a lot smaller and sticky / tasteless than had the last time we ordered it here which was my first time at this restaurant, also had the calamari which was good the only thing good this night, we also ordered thai ice tea but that never came out to us. Our first experience at Awesome Thai a few months ago was amazing, the food, and friendly customer service! As for last night I was 1000 percent Disappointed! We left to get food elsewhere. The service, food was a disappointment last night maybe an off night , but we were looking forward to amazing food and service in way felt saddened by the experience :(

As an LA foodie, eating elsewhere is always done with a dose of doubt. NOT HERE!!! These people know how to cook authentic Thai food and there customer service is delightful. Let me put it to you a different way, this my second favorite Thai restaurant in America! Everything was made to order, and the ingredients where very fresh. We ordered 7 plates and all were hot, and taste. My only disappointment was not bringing in more friends to enjoy this meal! We will back!

Wow, really good food! I tried Tom Yum soup and drunken noodles, both medium spicy. The food was really fresh, with interesting ingredients and perfect spice level. I really have to compliment the spice level, it was hot without being overpowering. If you like spicy food, medium is definitely a good option. The Tom Yum soup was good with whole pieces of mussel with the shell. But really good quality, and a great hot and sour flavor. The drunken noodles was outstanding, with some interesting veggies choices like green beans. Non-traditional, but I don't mind. Again the spice level was perfect, hotter than the soup, but it's supposed to be a spicy dish so it was great. The only reason I'm docking a star is because of the beef quality, it was just OK. Possibly a lower grade of meat, which is unfortunately quite common among Asian restaurants. I will definitely order from them again however, and will consider revising my rating if the beef quality is better next time. I am looking forward to trying more great food from this local gem!

Not so awesome experience. I was willing to overlook the cluttered bar, cluttered stage area with children's bike, sticky floor at our table, unprofessional menus etc. But when they charged a 20% service fee and tried to get a tip on top of that, that was a bit much. Our party consisted of 4 adults and one toddler that eats 2 bites. Waitress was very rude and argumentative.

I have been there yesterday and i ordered Shabu Shabu with Mhara soup it's very good and i also ordered Shrimp pad thai it's very good too but i forgot to take a picture!
