A fantastic selection of flavors for halal wings. Personal favorite is the makhni. Also, 6 Alarm burger is the best burger we've had in a while. It's spicy, generously sized, and full of flavor. And cannot forget about those loaded fries. Halal bacon as a topping, it was really good!! Best halal place in Astoria.

I don't know if during the day is better but I bought after midnight and the food was disgusting. I added beef bacon to my burger and never got the bacon. The boneless wings was terrible. The waffle fries were ok.

The food was not bad I tried the lemon pepper wings with loaded fries it’s not bad but next time ima go for the spiciest wings they have I gave it four stars because we were all vaccinated but they wouldn’t let us sit inside and they had empty seats and a table we had to eat in the cold outside and the food got cold fast ☹️Also for such a halal place supplying a haram place next door don’t support this haram business astagfirullah

The burgers are a hit for everyone in the family. No complaints. Tons of awesome seasoning and flavor! Kudos to the generous portions, hospitality, service and fair prices. I am a very satisfied customer! Halal certified assures me the meat is of the greatest quality because you are what you eat, and who wants to eat tortured animals and absorb that energy?! Very Fire 🔥. Get extra sauce💯. I definately recommend eating here. I just went in and ordered food for pick up. Most full meals cost $15 (Mac Attack) and the wait for the food is 15 mins. It tastes very high quality and has very fair pricing. The area around is kinda sketch walking at night. But I definately recommend eating here.

Follow-up (1 year) - With many places closing earlier than they used to, it's amazing to see AwesomeSauce still serve up their amazing burgers and fries until midnight. The Bullseye burger's honey BBQ with an extra patty and beef bacon make it the quintessential burger and easily our favorite in Queens. The Loaded Cheese Fries had wonderful bacon bits that you don't normally get to have in any Halal venue. Add the large selection of non-traditional wing sauces and you have the best burger, wing and fries joint you can find in the Five Boroughs. Delicious Halal burgers with seasoned patties, crispy fries, large array of sauces and great presentation. They have a $5 burger promotion on Mondays and Wednesdays and 70¢ wings promotion on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Jonathan was super-accomodating, recommended the best combinations and seemed like the perfect person to walk us through our experience. This is a well-executed burger & wings joint.

100% halal!!!!! My oh my! Amazing!!! Delicious! The mango habanero and Buffalo wings are such a great win. The waffle fries were YUMMM! Not to mention the cashier was super nice. 10/10 would recommend!!!!

Friendly service and simple burger menu with lots of options. Today I tried their chicken sandwiches and they were delicious. I only wish there was less salt on the patty. The chicken was juicy and thick. I really enjoyed it. I ordered the royal (minus the egg) and the classic. I have also had their meat burgers and they are very tasty. I ordered the combo so it came with fries and a drink. They did skimp on the fries but I got full with what they gave me. Another plus about this place is they are open late. Just got a grilled chicken sandwich from here and I'm Not sure if it was a joke or if this place is trying to kill me but the whole sandwich was SPICY AFFF. I eat a lot of spicy food all the time but this is literally making my heart hurt right now. Tried to take all the peppers or whatever they put in there out but it didn't work. We ordered large fries and sweet potato fries. The fries were hard not crispy but just hard and crunchy. More like concrete. My brother ordered a burger and not going to lie but it was the only thing that was actually good. Everything else was just horrible. The red hot sauce and peppers on my sandwich was horrible. Fries horrible. Many other halal restaurants on Steinway. Would not recommend this one.

Awesome Sauce is a burger place in Astoria. The food was surprisingly very good, service was great, seating is very casual and small. Many patrons were ordering food for take out. Transportation: The location is a walk from the closest subway, but there are buses from Steinway that can bring you to Awesome Sauce. Or drive, there are spots for street parking. K and I went here for dinner. We shared the following: Royal Burger (burger with sunny side egg, waffle fries, beef bacon, topped with awesome sauce). I loved the sunny side egg and the beef bacon. The burger was fully cooked, so it was a little dry but the sauce definitely helped. 6 Alarm Burger (burger with jalapenos, poblano popper, cheddar cheese). This was definitely the better of the two burgers. I liked the spice. This burger patty was also fully cooked but the spice helped the fully cooked patty. Loaded cheese fries- waffle fries topped with jalapeno cheddar, beef bacon and pico de gallo. I loved these! The fries were crispy, the cheese was soft and the beef bacon added some umami saltiness to the fries. Definitely get this! Small wings with two sauces: mango habanero and another sauce. The wings were so awesome! Crunchy, savory, meaty and I loved the sweetness and spiciness of the mango habanero. I would definitely return for the loaded cheese fries and large order of the wings with the mango habanero sauce!

I've tried out AwesomeSauce on several occasions and think it's a good spot to hit when you don't feel like making lunch/dinner. They are currently only offering take-out but do have some seating available as you wait for your food. They are also open 12 PM to 12 AM which is pretty convenient. Although I do enjoy the food, my order has been wrong twice. Seeing as they confirm your order with the phone number, I'm not sure whether the issue is mislabeled bags or misunderstandings on the phone. My first order was a burger and I received a chicken sandwich. My second order was buffalo wings and I received sweet and spicy wings. The wrong orders were still good but could be a problem for picky eaters. My advice - definitely double check the order before you head out.

Been wanting to go here ever since I 1st noticed that it opened. Finally went yesterday & I was impressed! The service is good & the food is amazing! I loved everything except the loaded cheese fries (which my husband loved). The jalapeño poppers & the fried pickles Spears were amazing! Everything was perfectly seasoned & not too spicy. The wings were really good too! They were finger lickin good (KFC in the US never is). The Awesomesauce is pretty spicy so beware. The wings were very saucy so try not to be clumsy like me. The wings are kinda pricey. I do wish it was cheaper. The 6 alarm burger is amazing! It comes with lettuce, jalapeños, Poblano poppers, beef bacon, Cheddar & a sauce. I chose lemon pepper which balanced everything out perfectly. It wasn't too spicy. The loaded cheese fries are Waffle fries with cheese, beef bacon, jalapeños, Cheddar. The fries were too crispy imo.

This place has 15 unique sauces for all different taste buds to choose on your burgers and wings which keeps me coming back for more. There is also a variety of burgers and apps to chose from as well. Sauces: The awesome sauce is sweet with a spicy taste at the end which I loved. Mango habenero is a classic combination of mango and spicy. Loved their unique flavors such as garlic parm, pesto, thai chili, makhani.... which taste exactly what they are called. The korean bbq sweet n tasty. The volcano is def for all the extreme spicy lovers. Lemon pepper taste fresh n zesty. They have the following 4 version of the burger: classic, mushroom, royal (with egg & waffle fries), 6 alarm (jalepenos and jalepenos poppers). All served with beef bacon - yum! Have choice of chicken, beef, or veggy patty. Also can choose any of their 15 sauces. My favorite is the royal burger with chicken or beef. Burger is very filling and juicy. My favorite app are the loaded fries with bacon and cheese, sweet potatoes fries, and fried mac n cheese bites. All comes crispy.

Absolutely love this place!!! Just what Astoria needed !! Wingspot with burger and fries how can you go wrong !! Wanted in menu and deals were available right away , I happen to notice they have about 14 flavors of wings and about 6 different types of burgers . I was literally blown away and couldn't decide on which flavor to get . Ended up trying 6 different ones, and world can't express the joy I got out of it . All flavors were unique and different from each other . Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the flavors and burgers . Very reasonable prices, and delicious tasting food. I enjoyed the crispy chicken burger, very meaty but I'm a red meat gal so I prefer beef burgers. I had a six alarm with chicken which was crazy spicy, I can handle spice for the most part but I did have to take off a bit of the sauce, take a few sips of my ginger ale and wipe my runny nose. the waffle fries are good, it's not a big portion in the combo, but it's enough. Staff is nice, place is nice. I'd come back.

As soon as we enter the place with our 3 kids there was tall person behind the counter, who didn't even acknowledge us. He was vaporing the enter time he took our order, and chatting with a person in the kitchen using vulgar language in front our kids. Food was super disappointing. Will not recommend anyone to go there.

**Delivery Review** Saturday night cravings through Uber Eats allowed me to get some food from this joint in Astoria. Basic selection of burgers, fries, wings and other typical bar food without being overly expensive. Settled on the Six Alarm Burger with bacon ($7.75) and Mac n Cheese Bites ($5) - fairly cheap, though the app adds a service+delivery fee. Food came within an hour - still hot thankfully. Burger has a juicy patty topped with jalapenos, jalapeno poppers, bacon, cheese, and a mango habanero sauce. Surprisingly east to eat as the ingredients worked well together. Bites looked lackluster but breaded well on the outside and super creamy on the inside. Needs some hot sauce to get going, but overall a good side with the burger. Definitely the kind of food you get with a few beers; definitely hitting the spot for a craving. Hopefully get to visit in person.

Wings were descent service trash . Ordered half an order of awesome sauce half chimichurri . When i got home had 10 chimichurri that were excessively oily. Called them that I was bringing it back re ordered the food . Drive back from home to have them ask me when I get there what I wanted as my new order . Just got home and the order is wronG once again . Got some spicy Thai chili instead of Korean bBq . every time have had an issue. This time I specifically called to ensure this burger was cooked well done and the sauce was on the side . I received the wrong sauce and this burger is still mooing. I Called to speak to a manager to be told they aren't there and to bring the food back to get it replaced . Who orders and pays for food to be delivered to have to drive it back to have it corrected ? Will never order again

This place is HORRIBLE! The wings have no flavor and are soggy! Customer service was ehh called on the phone for pick up and the man was rushing me off while I was placing my order and when I went to pick up the food he was just fooling around with what I assume was the kitchen staff only reason Im giving it a 2 stars and not a - star because the fries was okay but dont get the wings

For a quick burger & chicken wings place it's not bad. BUT, Almost everything is spicy, even stuff that you wouldn't expect like cheese fries and the Garlic Parm sauce... Also. Ordered online and and they called back to let me know one of the items wasn't available and it would be refunded. But when I picked it up they told me I needed to file a claim with the online service or get an exchange.

Tried this establishment when it first opened up. I'm not particularly a fan of their style of wings but that's just my preference. However, their burgers more than make up for the wings.

Royal burger was just ok (according to the hubby), but the wings were delicious, super juicy - would return for the wings! They also have a really nice selection of sauces. I got the honey bbq sauce for the wings since it was the only dairy-free sauce but I'm sure most of the sauces are good. Like Pommes Frites but more things on the menu for you to use the sauce with. ~ Was starving and wanted to pick up something quick on our way to the highway (Grand Central Parkway). Hubby was craving burgers and I just wanted food I could eat (can't do dairy at the moment). Called in an order for pickup. Got the: - Royal burger (single patty beef, lettuce, beef bacon, sunny side up egg, waffle fries, cheddar cheese; chose the recommended awesomesauce for the sauce) - Extra small order of wings w/ honey bbq sauce (5 pcs - 3 wings, 2 drums) Hubby's burger smelled really good. I love brioche buns so I was really sad I couldn't try it. The burger seemed to be cooked well-done, wasn't very juicy. Meant to ask for it to be cooked medium well but they didn't ask what temp and I forgot to specify. The yolk for on the burger was fully cooked which i don't think is supposed to be the case if it's sunny side up.. but I guess it's less messy - I gave the hubby the burger in a fork to eat while he was driving lol, but I did drown it in the awesomesauce that was given to us on the side. Hubby said the burger was ok - said there was a weird sweetness he didn't like, but wasn't sure what it was, maybe the beef bacon? Asked if the wings were cooked with butter or with any other type of dairy and was told no. Decided to just get the extra small order of wings, which had five pieces, rather than the small (10). They have a ton of sauce options (can't be called AwesomeSauce without having awesome sauce lol), but basically every sauce has butter or some kind of other dairy in it, except for their honey bbq sauce so I got that. Their honey garlic and mango habanero sauces sounded really good though. Was pleasantly surprised with the size of the wings. Was given three wings and two drums. You could tell they were freshly made. The edges were just a bit crispy. Super super juicy.. made me wish I had gotten a larger order! I wasn't thrilled that honey bbq was my only option for sauce, but it was actually pretty well balanced - a bit sweet, a bit tangy, and had a little bit of a kick, but still manageable for me. Only thing is I wish the sauce coated the wings more evenly so there were no clumps of sauce. Cute decor. They had Santa hat chair covers, little reindeer on the counter, a bulletin board where they had printed customers' social media posts of their food, and little stockings everywhere. Seems like they get lots of takeout orders - lots of Uber Eats, DoorDash, etc. signs. You can also order here on Yelp but seems like everything costs a bit more if you order online which is why I opted to call in instead. Would return for the wings and maybe give the burgers (cooked medium) another shot.

A decent place to get halal burger and wings for relatively cheap price. There are three small tables. Be aware that there are no restrooms but they'll give you wet towelettes if you want to clean your hands. Service was friendly. The have a selection of burgers and wings with different sauces. You can ask to sample the sauces before choosing. There is online ordering but it is a bit cheaper if you order in person. I had wings with thai chili as recommended by the person taking my order and the beef royal burger combo with awesome sauce. A combo is about $9-12 and comes with a burger with your choice of sauce, soda or water, and waffle or sweet potato fries. A good deal! The burgers were large and filling and the fries was a generous portion. The royal burger is topped with a fried egg, but they over cooked the yolk. It was have been better if it was a runny yolk. The waffle fries were nice and crispy and nicely salted. The sweet potato fries were a little lacking in flavor and were a bit limp. The mango habanero sauce and awesome sauce wasn't very spicy at all, that coming from a person who cannot handle spice. The wings were ok, not great. The thai chili sauce wasn't so much spicy as it was tangy. It reminds me of the duck sauce you get from Americanized Chinese food. I enjoyed my food here but wish there was a restroom.

Yum yum yum Really good burgers, fries, and wings. The lemon pepper was really good. I wasn't a fan of the really spicy wings because it really felt like I was biting into red paste. Loaded fries are good too.

It's rather unfortunate but I don't believe AwesomeSauce lives up to its name. I ordered the 15 wings ($18.95) with sriracha fire sauce, Korean bbq sauce, and lemon pepper; the classic burger ($6.95) but substituted chicken instead of beef; and the 6 alarm burger ($6.95) and substituted chicken for beef. I have to deduct points right off the bat because they put 15 wings with 3 different sauces IN THE SAME STYROFOAM CONTAINER... I mean, come on, dude. That's amateur hour. I don't really care that much because none of the flavors were amazing to begin with so it didn't feel like such a loss, but the result was a pool of liquids with all the flavors mixed together. I don't think any legitimate wing place would commit such a basic error. Really not cool. Aside from the lemon pepper which was quite tasty and not overly peppery, the other sauces were a wash. I don't even remember anything special about them and couldn't tell you what they tasted like. Just not memorable. The sandwiches... man, I wish I had ordered beef instead of chicken in an attempt to be healthier. The chicken wasn't grilled, either; it was a breaded chicken patty. The beef burgers looked amazing in photos, but the chicken sandwiches were complete letdowns. There was pretty much no flavor. The 6 alarm burger did have a bit of a bite to it, but that alone wasn't enough to save it. Do yourself a favor and get a beef burger because everyone else raves about them. I probably won't be back, but if I do, I'm getting a burger.

I'm not sure if it's because I ordered a bit late on a Sunday evening, but JEEZ their wings suck!!! I had gotten the Thai Chili wings and they got to me cold and the wings still needed more heating time. The onions rings were decent, but honestly I have had better. I was able to eat 2 out of the five wings I got. And that's only because I was SMACKED and STARVING. Another thing is why are they called awesome sauce but don't give ranch or blue cheese for your wings...the only condiments they have is ketchup You've been warned!

I've ordered twice from this place; once via Grubhub and at the place itself. VIA GRUBHUB: cheap delivery fee. Compared to the other platforms. I ordered the royal burger and medium wings. Was good process. Had no problem and the food was still hot! In person: I enjoyed the Mac attack burger. I tried their fried pickles which they told me beforehand that they make upon request! Good appetizer! The service was impeccable. Though I barely had room, I couldn't help but order their lava crunch dessert. Also made by hand, it seems to be a Nutella samosa of sort! PLEASE TRY THIS! Awesome Sauce has a great selection of burgers with a variety of fries. Sweet potato fries and waffle fries are always ordered and it hits the spot. Burgers are cooked to order; all with great flavor and toppings. They have a variety of in house sauces hence their name. There are about 15 sauces and they rotate monthly by most liked by customers. You can drench them with the wings on their menu as well as any burger. You must try the all the sauces. It's no hit or miss it's a MUST!

I had an AWESOME meal here! The reviews don't do thIs place justice. I had the chicken classic burger with onion rings (with beef bacon) and the mango habanero wings. The service was quick and prompt. They recommended other items which I definitely will try. I'm already planning to go back over the weekend with my friends. Thank you AWESOMESAUCE!

I came here with my cousins for lunch and this was a splendid experience. A definite plus being halal for the Muslim community. The wings were my favorite part of all the dishes I had. Korean BBQ FTW! Burgers are very tender and juicy. The vast array of sauces makes it tough to choose and opens the doors to multiple experiences in finding the perfect flavor. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good burger, wings and grease food combo at a reasonable price.

Almost never submit one of these, but had to make an exception here. Came here once on a Sunday afternoon (around 1p) and the place was still closed, even though the time on the door said they open as early as 12p. Decided to give this place another chance and came back the following week on a Saturday night with my sister. As soon as we walk in you get a big whiff of hookah smoke, possibly from the place next door? Not shy of the smell, just wouldn't welcome it when looking to sit down and have some wings. Nonetheless, we stayed and ordered Buffalo, BBQ, and Lemon Pepper wings. The sauces were awful, I was actually surprised as to how bad it tasted lol. My sister ordered fried pickles and the breading on the fried pickle was slanting outward, my sister said they weren't edible, mind you they had let us know they only had two pickles left, so in essence we LUCKED out. I will say the lady at the counter did her very best to make up for the businesses short-coming's. At the end of it all, I had asked for wipes since have wings drenched in sauce can get messy, but they unfortunately didn't have any, and we were told due to the Corona-Virus outbreak, they were unable to secure any wipes, and refused to purchase hand-sanitizer at hiked prices? This just confirmed with me with ow unprepared this business is and how irresponsible the business can be. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, and do hope they turn it around because they are in a good area to succeed.

Was impressed by the place to say the least! Some friends of mine tried this place when it first opened and weren't satisfied, but I have to go completely against them! My meal was 10/10 in taste, presentation, and service. I ordered the 6 Alarm Burger with fries because that's what the cashier recommended, along with wings. The burger was really spicy (should have seen this coming because of the name) but made my mouth water because of how good it was. The wings could use improvement, I've had much better wings from other places. But I also might be saying this because I'm not a very big fan of wings. The location definitely hurts the foot traffic for this place, which can be a positive thing for those who hate long lines and waiting to order ha. Definitely recommend this place!

The BEST burgers in town! This place never disappoints! The burgers are humongous with so much flavor. Customer service very polite but friendly. Now, moving on to the wings. Another level of awesomeness with the variety of sauces! It's always such a dilemma on which sauce to go with. Go in a few times so you can try all the different sauces. Will definitely return for some Awesomesauce!

Awesome Sauce is the name so I would assume that would be there strong point. Yesterday I ordered jalapeño poppers and chicken fingers that came with no sauce , I was greatly disappointed. I did request sauce as a required choice. We also ordered two burgers the mushroom Swiss beef burger was really good. Unfortunately the chicken burger was under cooked. We also enjoy the loaded fries. I'm not sure if I'd order again.

Jeez where to begin....About two weeks ago myself and 4 friends decided to check this place out since it's so many halal bloggers have been ranting and raving about it..Well @awesomesauceastoria I am sorry there was nothing awesome about you!!!!...People lets not forget that just because us halalies eat only halal, we don't have freaking standards!!!!....because we do!!!! Place & Service: This place is smalllllllll with no bathrooms, no sink to wash your hands, its a take out place primarily!!!...The girl who took our order was a complete ditz...not only did she eff up our order multiple times EVEN when she wrote it down, but she wasnt even friendly...the food took like 40 minutes to come out...it's fast food like seriously???? Also they limit customers to ONE sauce with no sampler of sauces to try....YOUR name is awesome sauce, like seriously???? Food: My friends ordered burgers and fries....if you are looking for any healthy options @awesomesauceastoria is NOT your place...greesy as hell...I did not try the burgers, however 2 out of my friends did and they enjoyed it, the rest did not...the swiss burger with garlic parm sauce both friends did enjoy it.....What I did try was the chicken makhni wings...I mean awesome sauce right....Nooo Nooo Nooo...it was flavorless, absolutely gross, never ever again, like ever!!!! We tried other sauces like the volcano and mango, nothing special about it...As my friend eloquently put it that night.."put this place on the NEVER to go to places again"...There was also an issue with consistentcy as my chicken makhni wings were very saucy but my friend had very little to no sauce on it.. The name says it all! Awesome Sauce is the place to go! It recently just opened up and I was sooooo happy with what I got! The place is very clean and they have a seating area as well. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. As for the food, I wasn't disappointed by anything. The flavors of the wings are unique and extremely tasty! I would definitely recommend trying makhni and of course awesome sauce! Make sure you stop by, 5/5 for sure! :)

Burger was okay, nothing fancy or wow... just like any other burger spot.. Too much onion and the size of it was a bit much. service is sorta slow.

We had a 5star dine in experience the first time and a 3 star takeout experience since the sauce was just dumped on the wings and the wings were not tossed in the sauce properly like they had been the first time we were there. The burgers size and quality are good, taste could use a bit of seasoning, but their sauce selection makes up for it. Wings have been above average both times-some sauce favorites are Korean bbq, garlic Parmesan, honey bbq, awesome sauce, mango habanero and Thai chili.

My go - to items are the Mango Habanero wings and the 6 alarm beef burger and the Swiss burger. Food here is always super fresh and tasty!

So I was starving and I was in the mood for some delicious wings. Found this place from yelp and decided to go here. The place was brand new it opened up about two weeks ago, and the place itself looks nice with their simple decors, however the place was cold and had no heating system, which was the sucky part and no bathroom to wash your hands. Anyways me and my friend decided to order the combination of 15 wings we chose different flavors, we decided to go for Korean bbq, mango habanero and Siraracha wings and also got an order of waffle fries. Their fries were on point it was absolutely delicious especially dipping it on with ranch sauce. Their wings were the perfect portion and just right. We finished everything and was defiantly pleased and happy. I def recommend everyone to try this place out it's amazing, also the service here was great.

Delicious!! I got the 20 wings option. Sriracha, volcano and mango!! I love super spicy... that volcano was crazy!!! So good and Tender wings. I do wish there was a dipping sauce for the hotter options or maybe some ketchup for my onion rings but the sauces are all great on the wings. They separated everything for delivery so I don't know what that complaint was. I cannot wait to try their burgers :)

This review is based on their delivery. Was craving something fatty and greasy so why not burgers and wings. I had the burger with mushrooms and grilled onions. Burger was a generous size but the whole profile was all wrong. Burger was over cooked and dry with not much flavor. Toppings didn't help either as they weren't memorable. Waffle fries were a generous amount as well. Pretty crispy and overall good. Wings were a disappointment. Two different sauces but placed in the same box with no separation or labeling. And their AwesomeSauce tastes just like sweet baby rays golden mustard bbq sauce. Both sauces were overly sweet. I know they're new to the area so I may give em another shot to redeem themselves. But as of right now, peteys burger still reigns champion!

Great spot for burgers and wings! So thankful for these amazing halal burgers, they're definitely one of the best in town. They're huge and full of flavor. We ordered 3 burgers, the 6 alarm, which was kinda dry, but the Royal and Swiss burgers were great. Swiss was my favorite out of the three.

This place has some of the best halal burgers I have tried! Simple menu that doesn't overwhelm you, but has enough choices to excite you! Fresh, and seriously delicious, my favorite is the Royal burger with Thai Chili sauce. And the fried pickles are soooo good! The AwesomeSauce is okay, not bad.

I was actually excited to try this place since I've heard people rave about it but it didn't meet up to my expectations. I got the six alarm burger and it didn't taste as good as I thought it would. Wasn't horrible but I wouldn't have it again.

Good spot - they need more cashiers and cooks . You have to order way before to get it on time . About the burgers they are small and juicy worth 5 bucks offer they have def not worth the full price .

the mango habanero and awesomesauce wings are amazing the 6 alarm burger is okay but the beef was too dry for me. may be better if it was medium rare

Huge selection of sandwiches and other goodies that never disappoint. My husband could live on sandwiches alone, so this is now his go to place.
