Aswan Mandi & Grill in Farmington Hills is a great spot for colorful, Instagram-worthy Yemeni American fusion. Think lamb haneeth, tuna fahsah, and mandi, but also cheeseburgers, Nashville hot chicken, and even a chicken Caesar wrap. They opened up in 2024 and are slowly developing a very loyal following. We visited for dinner and unfortunately had a very poor experience. We found a hair in our food and alerted our server; he simply looked at it and walked away without a word. When I mentioned it to the cashier later, she didn't offer an apology. The management seriously needs to prioritize food hygiene and basic customer service training.

We went for lunch. Haven't visit before. The time we visit not crowded. Service was nice and friendly. The food we select only one plate was available. We have to select another. Food was nice and was enough for 3. Taste was fine. Nice to try again. Place is big so can be better for more people as well. Thanks for the good service. It was few days back so I forgot the staff names.

3 of us were looking for a place to eat before Dubai Marathon run and came across to this restaurant. Delicious food. Great value for money. Great service by Jasmine and Friendly Muhammad. Portions are big. Definitely coming back again

I usually visit your restaurant almost twice a week because I genuinely enjoy the place, but unfortunately this time the experience was disappointing. The food arrived in less than three minutes, which clearly shows it wasn’t freshly prepared. It came partly cold and partly hot, and the taste was noticeably poor, as if it had just been reheated after sitting for a while. I really hope this feedback helps improve the quality and consistency, because I’ve always liked the restaurant and would love to see the standards return to what they used to be.

Stumbled on this place by chance, but what a pleasant discovery! Classic Yemeni cuisine. I had the Haneedh Lamb Rib Mandi. Specifically asked for one with more fats and the rack came out jiggling! 😄 It is crusty on the outside and juicy inside. What is a greater surprise is the Lamb Fahsa, a traditional Yemeni lamb stew served in a sizzling claypot. Served with a giant bread, It is SOOO GOOD! 😝 I'm certainly coming back for it again, and to try all the other items in the menu!

I really liked Awsan Mandi ! The chicken and mutton mandi were both great. They gave us a good amount of meat, which was in good quantity. The girl who served us was really friendly and did a great job. She welcomed us with a smile and took care of our needs. We also tried their masooba and kunafa, and they were tasty too. Overall, it was a great experience. I think Awsan Mandi is the best place for mandi in Barsha.
