DJ Prince Taj rocks Axis lounge. He knows his music and plays all the goodies. Many of us wish he was the resident DJ not just a fill in. Axis give DJ Prince Taj a permanent set. We love him!!!

The band was great, the drinks were good. The waitress walked passed my table many times. She took orders at the table in front of me and behind me. I ended up cleaning off my table and taking orders for my table.

This is a great go to spot. The DJ IS NICE , always got us dancing! The crowd is mature. The bartenders are kind but the drinks can be a little too strong. Other than that. Me and my girl love coming here !

I love going here, it's always a good time. There tends to be an older crowd, which I enjoy. Music is always great but my favorite is when they have Dueling Pianos.

Soooo, let me tell u about my experience here on Superbowl Sunday 2024. Axis sits in the middle of the casino (just about). There is no bathroom in the lounge so u have to leave & go to the restroom in the casino. We were there for at least 1.5 hours before the game started. No food in there either AND u cannot bring food inside. Therefore, we had spent a couple of hundred dollars on nothing but drinks! Eventually, we needed to use the restroom. There were 6 of us. We were told that if we left for the restroom, we would have to stand in line to get back in unless we had a wrist band which u could only get if u bought a booth...and the booths were sold out. The staff were more than willing to give us wrist bands so we could go pee, but the manager, a short, black woman refused to let us have any. We asked if we could buy them. No. One of the guys had a room in the hotel. He couldn't even use his room key to come back in. But here's the kicker...only the black ppl needed wristbands or had to wait in line. We watched white ppl walk in without wristbands & without waiting in line. It was absolutely absurd. Then, they claimed the Fire Marshall...no! We were there a few weeks ago for a lions playoff game & the crowd was double the size. Bottom line: black ppl, do not spend ur money in Axis. They don't want it.

This bar is beautiful, well setup, has great staff from bartenders to security personnel, but it's getting rowdy and dangerous. You can't hear anything over the DJ's music, it's packed way too tight with people, you can't gamble at the video poker machines because everyone sits at them instead of gambling, and there's no personal space. When MGM closed Club V, they turned this into the replacement. There have been a number of big fights lately as well. How big of an incident and how badly will someone have to get hurt or worse before MGM does something about this?

Came back for the 3rd time on New Year's Eve...My New Spot...The DJ was Awesome...Up until I asked him to play a certain hustle song for me and he said he couldn't play hustle music...Which was clearly A Lie...Because he played the Tamia song hustle and other hustle songs....Dude Really?
