The 38 Best Restaurants in Tokyo, Japan | Eater

"Apartment and retail complex Azabudai Hills opened in the heart of the city in 2023 with more than 100 food shops and restaurants, along with the Teamlab Borderless museum. There’s a meal here for everyone, including two-Michelin-starred Florilège and a second location of Sushi Saito, giving diners a chance at a seat despite the fierce competition for reservations at the original. Other standouts include Arabica Kyoto for coffee, Kawamura for tonkatsu, Pelican Café for ham katsu sandos, Sembikiya fruit parlor for over-the-top parfaits, Shogun Burger for wagyu burgers, and Sobamae Yamato for soba and sake-friendly small plates. Best for: Finding something for everyone, at any time during the day." - Yukari Sakamoto

Upscale and diverse market. Lovely supermarket with good quality products and ready-made foods you can eat in the mall. A place that will help you create a custom dashi blends. An d several interesting bakeries, sweet shops and cafes. Also houses the Teamlabs Borderless interactive museum.

Christmas market. Team lab. High end shops. Take the elevator on the JP Morgan building to the 34th floor. Observatory deck (500 Y admission) and bar (1000 Y beer) to unwind and relax. Take in the scenic view of Tokyo Tower and city!

Azabudai Hills is a stunning new district with beautiful architecture and relaxing green spaces. The marketplace is exceptionally nice and spotless, with great food and thoughtful shops. Everything feels organized and welcoming. TeamLabs Borderless is an absolute must-see — immersive, playful, truly unforgettable. Highly recommended for visitors to Tokyo today.

Very lovely area to have a walk and hang out. There are all booths that sells soft cream. Malls with delectable chocolate shop. Also if you do visit the area, don’t forget to check out the sky cafe and bar at the tower to check out the beautiful city view of Tokyo and get a glimpse of Mount Fuji in the distance. And a really good view of Tokyo Tower just beside. Sunset time will get you the gorgeous breathtaking sky view!

“Christmas Eve at Azabudai Hills ✨ Lights glowing, winter air crisp, and Tokyo looking more magical than ever. A perfect night to slow down, walk, and feel the season.” “Azabudai Hills on Christmas Eve felt like stepping into a winter dream. Soft lights shimmered along the walkways, couples wandered hand-in-hand, and the entire city seemed to breathe a gentle holiday warmth. It was one of those nights where even the silence felt festive

Interesting development in Minato. The architecture creates a more walkable, neighborhood like experience. High end shops, and many cafes and restaurants. The market is quite good, with a great selection of fresh foods, and restaurants and pop up experiences. Definitely recommended for an afternoon stroll.

A beautiful and relaxing place, but crowded during December evenings for the small but elegant Christmas market. Expect long lines for food vendors; waffles, crepes, fries, and drinks are around 600-800¥, while heftier options like chicken, bratwurst, baked potatoes, and fish & chips are predominantly in the 1200-1800¥ range.
