Great, clean little hole in the wall place. Delicious burrito! The flavors are wonderful!! Music isn't too loud, you can actual have a conversation. The girls working the counter are beautiful and sweet, kind and professional!

Google
The best Mexican flavors in Colorado Springs. This place has the best lunch deals downtown and are always kind and welcoming. I could eat here every day.

Google
Legit 100% real Mexican food made by guys from chihuahua Mexico. The food is made with love and you can taste it. I ended up coming here because my daughter who goes to Palmer high school loves it. She nagged me until I decided to check it out. The entire family is happy we did. If they keep Cooking I will be coming back 100% recommend by a Latin man.

Google
I have loved this place for years. The breakfast burrito is seriously delicious. If you haven’t gone, check it out!

Google
Best and biggest lunch/dinner burrito in town! They make it to order and all their salsas are the best I've had in the nearly dozen Mexican restaurants I have tried here. They have a nice kick to them and very flavorful.

Rio Zen

Google
Burrito is not bad. The portion is good. I think the price is high. $10 for Burrito??! I visited there during lunchtime on Friday but they didn't offer sample snack unlike they advertised.

Google
We love this place, someone said it’s like Chipotle but 1000x better which is true!! Our favorite is the Al Pastor burrito.

Yelp
Good service, very friendly and made me feel at home. As a Texan, I felt right at home even in the springs, with good food, ambiance, and decent prices.

Yelp
Hidden Gem! On the north side of Bijou as you head west, this little grill has been serving delicious food for many years. The place is spotless and the decor is cute. The staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful. I had visited deer over 10 years ago and remembered it being good, but it was not close to any of my normal haunts. I decided to bring my husband here today to try it and was pleasantly surprised, and reminded of why I liked it previously. My husband got a vegetarian burrito smothered in queso. I had a burrito bowl with Carne Asada , and all the toppings! Both were delicious! The salsa choices range from mild (pico de gallo or corn salsa) to HOT (red or spicy avocado), but my fave was the medium "green" which was moderately spicy and extremely well seasoned. The burrito tortillas were also fun to watch them prepare!

Yelp
Bad communication, overcharging for a burrito. Seems like a cheap knockoff of chipotle. Not original at all, Food is already prepared and doesn't look fresh. Not a welcoming atmosphere, looks a little dated. Don't expect any smiles. Meat is rubbery and cold. If you want Mexican food and an authentic experience this isn't the place.

Yelp
I was visiting Colorado and looking for a Mexican restaurant to eat , I found azada , we get some tacos and burritos , the food was good , menu is kind of bored , o wish they had more to offer , ambiance is not that good we stopped on a weekday I do t know of on the weekends they have some music or something , but it was quiet like a funeral , customer service is not that good, people working there are friendly but they need to improve on the customer service ,we order, else paid and we eat but no one was there to see if we needed something else I needed more salsa but when I turned around no one was there, everybody was in the back nd they had some music I called but I think they didn't hear me, we finish me left and we did t see anybody else .

Yelp
Taco Bell has more spice. I ordered the Nachos w/out meat. I paid $24 out the door for nachos and cookies. I thought it was way overpriced. The refried beans are canned. As far as I could tell, the pico de gallo, shredded cheese and lettuce are the only fresh from scratch ingredients. I find it hard to believe that the tortilla chips are made from scratch. They lack the oily residue indicative of freshly fried. The restaurant doesn't offer jalapenos or peppers of any sort. So I'm not sure what the reviewer who refers to "salsas" is talking about. The service is Chipotle/Qdoba style. So I'm not sure what some of these other reviewers are talking about w/ respect to "menu changes". I won't go back.

Yelp
Homemade tortillas made to order - need I say more?! Oh, ok, well the rest of their stuff is pretty good too. Huge burritos made any way you want - choice of rice, beans, meat and lots of add on sauces, veg, and cheese. Did I mention that the tortillas are the bomb?! You can get your burrito wrapped in an extra tortilla - do that! It tastes great and helps with structural integrity of your giant, squishy burrito. Tacos are on point too.

Yelp
Made to order, fresh gilled tortillas! TAKE MY MONEY! Although, I did think it was a little too expensive, haha

Yelp
We are traveling and ran across this restaurant using yelp! Thank you! It was amazing! The chicken was so fresh and flavorful and they make the tortillas in front of you. Not what you expect when you walk in but such a great place. They are very open to menu changes as well. Yummy!!

Yelp
Amazing homemade Mexican meats , salsas , tortillas Chipotle style theme but 1000xs better Owner was very accommodating

Yelp
We were exploring downtown Colorado springs and decided to stop here for lunch. The place is a little off of main Street and it's a mom and pop shop. Similar to Chipotle style, you can customize any part of your meal. I got the Monday special which was the chicken burrito and my sister made a chicken salad bowl. Everything was really good and tasty, the portions was generous for the price and staff are super nice. The only thing I would critique is that their hot sauce and jalapenos was not spicy at all and wished they had a little more veggie options besides lettuce and picco de gallo For 5.50, my burrito was huge and it was a very good deal. You know what else made this burrito soecial? The tortilla wrap was freshly made right there in front of my eyes. It was cool to see how they had a ball of dough, put it in machine to flatten it out and baked it. The tortilla was not thick like most places and had a very good crunch but still soft at the same time. It was awesome!

Yelp
I am such a big fan of Azada. Honest, hardworking family that produces such consistent and delicious food. I love the options they have and they seriously knock it out of the park every time. It isn't cheap, but keeping this small business around is fully worth it. Bowls and burritos are the best!
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped In with the family for a quick bite. The food was typical fare for a small/walk up/order at the counter place. Burritos, bowls, tacos, nachos, etc. food was good but not superb. Burritos were smothered with a cheese sauce rather than green or red Chile? Ok but I would prefer green Chile. Tacos Al Pastor were excellent. Hot sopapillas were also excellent. Staff friendly and decor clean but dated. Good overall experience for this kind of place

Djanne S.

Yelp
Such a fan of the fresh to order tortillas! Appreciate the love and service that clearly goes into the food!
google avatar

David P.

Yelp
Caveat: only had one breakfast burrito so not a representative sample. Service was good! Food was not very good, cold, and VERY EXPENSIVE. Basically a $5 gas station breakfast burrito and horchata for $17 (with a tip and tax). That is insane. Salsa picante is decent and the fresh tortilla was good. Might try again at night. When I'm drunk. And hungry.
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
I came here for lunch. I had the tacos asada and tacos Al Pastor. Both were very mild. You could hardly taste the pineapple flavor in the tacos Al Pastor. They have a few tables for dining in. Many high school students at lunch time from the nearby Palmer high school. Very inexpensive.

Yelp
Expectations were high, given the reviews noted, but alas, no. These are not the burritos Cali-types are looking for...the force is not strong in these. The offering is with rice and beans and limited guac, and the tastes are as moderate as a sunset on Alderaan. While the offering is fairly large, it is mostly filled with rice and beans, with protein limited like water on Tatooine. In contrast, the actual shell rose above the contents, which should be no surprise as they seem to be made from scratch. For those who search for this type of sustenance - rice, beans, flavorful tortillas with minimum of protein - you may have found your Ahch-To. Location is downtown, with street parking, so if you go ensure your battle cruiser is ready for those ever so prevalent meter maids willing to ponce once the red alarms beam across the galaxy.

Yelp
Azada is like a family-owned, hole-in-the-wall Chipotle. (Well, perhaps more like Qdoba because the guacamole doesn't cost extra!) You order at the counter and build your Mexican entrees. Hubs and I both had the chicken plates- which are enormous- and come with multiple scoops of rice, beans, and chicken. Then you have the salsa options, sour cream, cheese, guacamole, and lettuce. I did the pico and the medium salsa. The medium was SO GOOD. It had a really nice kick and seasoned the plate of food nicely. The plates also come with your choice of corn or flour tortillas- homemade, of course. Honestly, the portion is huge- I couldn't even finish and that's saying a lot. My toddler had a kids quesadilla on the homemade tortilla and it was delicious! (Quality control, I had to taste it!) Kids plates also come with beans and rice. So go out and support a locally-owned business and get your Mexican fix while doing it!

Yelp
Thanks Yelp for another great find. The service was amazing. The person at the counter answered all of our questions and was patient with us as we had never been here before. The fresh made tortilla was delicious! We also had the green chili pork and asada, both of which were fantastic! I would come back here just for the homemade sopaipillas.
google avatar

Yelp
The best Mexican food in the springs. So freaking good and fresh!!!!! I got the chicken plate. Portions are big. My wife got the carnasda plate. Fresh tortillas made while you wait. Again. So so good.

Yelp
Looks like the place is family owned & like they gone out on a limb to make their American dream a reality. GOOD FOR THEM because the food is super authentic & super bomb! Everything fresh & huge portions. Definitely better than both Chipotle's & Q'doba. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Loree C.

Yelp
Super friendly staff! Absolutely love that they flatten and cook the tortilla for the burritos to order! Very fresh and super flavorful. I get the chipotle-ish style others refer to but it's only in style of how you order. Nothing else. Also they made my chips fresh for the size of guacamole
google avatar

Amy P.

Yelp
This place is amazing! Fresh made tortillas, fresh sopaipillas and churros. Our group had chicken bowl, chicken burrito, Barbacoa tacos and Asada tacos with Mexican rice and beans. It was all outstanding. We will definitely return. Chips and quest were tasty too!
google avatar

Yelp
Homemade tortillas is all I needed to try this place. I've been here twice and both times the service was friendly, fast and the food is delicious. I like their carnitas burrito, but they have a lot of other options that I haven't tried. Also, I see they offer free soft drinks to Palmer students which is a great idea.
google avatar

Yelp
Sooooo...gooooood. Staff was super nice and patient as we took forever to decide what to order. Real family-oriented folks. I was stuffed like an oversized pillow when we left.

Yelp
Yeah, this place rules. It's a tiny hole-in-the-wall downtown and it's some of the best food that I rarely hear people ever mention in town. You've seen this setup before. It will quickly remind you of Chipotle/Qdoba/etc but the flavor, customer service, and value of this place blows the socks off any of those fast food burrito joints. Plus it's family-run so everyone is actually happy and genuinely helpful! I really do recommend a burrito, as cliche as that might sound, because they make everything here from scratch. I mean, everything! They'll start by pressing a raw ball of masa into fresh tortilla and then they'll throw it on the plancha to give it a little color and warmth. You've already won my heart with this move. Typical toppings/accouterments as those other burrito joints, however, remember I said everything is homemade? Yeah, you'll notice it. They make their refried beans with Chorizo, so you'd be ridiculous not to load your burrito with this stuff. Ay, dios mio! I'm not gonna tell you how to live your life/fix up the rest of your burrito because you literally cannot go wrong from this point on. Go check this place out next time you're downtown and feeling some Mexican eats!

Robin G.

Yelp
We've eaten a lot of Mexican food in our lives and this restaurant rates among the best we have had. The fresh made-to-order tortillas are soft and flavorful, and there's something about the lean, juicy and flavorful barbacoa that had us return for more. The cilantro rice was fluffy and tasty. Guacamole was fresh, mostly if not all avocado (without fillers, as far as we could tell), and spiced just right. Service was was fast, friendly and accommodating. Glad we found this hidden gem on yelp.

Yelp
If your Texan and miss amazing Mexican food, this is your place!! The servings are huge, service awesome and everything is authentic homemade! Homemade tortilla were so good! Loved this place
google avatar

Yelp
I've been here in a number of times in my quest for the best burrito in Colorado. They are amongst the top five and I eat a lot of burritos so I know. I would suggest that you go here and get there Carne Asada burrito or breakfast burrito. Both are off the chain!!

Yelp
Azada Mexican Grill serves the greatest burritos in the Colorado Springs area. Perhaps Colorado entirely. Maybe the entire world. I was a frequent customer (multiple times a week) for the 5 years I lived in the Springs. I moved to Denver a year ago and have yet to find a suitable replacement. Sometimes, I still drive the hour down to the Springs just to get a burrito, and they always remember me. This place deserves 50 stars and here's why: 1. The tortillas: they're made in house--they press & cook the dough right in front of you-- and they are just unbeatable. I've never had a tortilla come close to the level of Azada tortillas 2. Their breakfast burritos: eggs, potatoes, the whole nine yards. I frequently ate these before playing rugby games and I believe they helped fuel me to glory. 3. Their guacamole: forget chipotle, forget illegal petes, forget qdoba. Azada's guacamole is delicious, perfectly chunky, and excellently flavored. 4. Their desserts: I've had their sopapillas and they are incredible. However, once I got a free churro (due to a promo) and I have not been able to replicate the extreme joy I experienced since. Absolutely unparalleled. 5. The people: I love all their employees. They're kind, wonderful people who are generous with their time and their burrito fillings. Azada is simply incredible. Words cannot fully express my love for this place.

Yelp
We found this place during our vacation in Colorado springs. The service was great. Very helpful and friendly staff. Looks like a family business. The food was also good. We all enjoyed our meals. I got the tamales with a side of mexican rice and refried beans. Yummy.

J.L. M.

Yelp
I love bacon breakfast burritos and while these were the first reason I came to Azada's, what keeps me coming back at least twice a month is their amazing, made fresh flour tortillas. Now I have to order at least four plain tortillas every time so that my autistic son and I don't fight over who gets a plain one to snack on, too. I make my own, but these are on a whole other level.

Yelp
I'm so sorry - I really wanted to love this place. The people were amazing and probably the best service I've had in a Mexican food restaurant. But unfortunately that's where it ended. First of all, we were the only customers in the place at 12:30 on a Saturday. That should have been a clue, right? The food was very similar to Chipotle / Qdoba - I'd even go farther to say it really lacked spice and flavor. I got a breakfast burrito, so maybe try something else if you're looking for spice. My daughter got a rice and bean bowl, which is legitimately boring anyway, but again there was zero flavor. The point that took me over the edge is we ordered the sopapillas (that were advertised everywhere in the restaurant!) and they were hard and not at all fresh. I would not believe they were made today! We were excited to check this place out but unfortunately it missed the mark for us.

Jennifer H.

Yelp
We needed a quick lunch stop near the Tesla super charger while on our road trip and stopped here due to the high Yelp rating. The food was fresh and delicious, and the tortillas and churros were made fresh on the spot. My son really enjoyed his kid's quesadilla, while the rest of us enjoyed the al pastor tacos, a taco salad, and chips and queso. I wish we lived close by. Such a gem!
google avatar

Be B.

Yelp
This is a scratch Mexican restaurant and there food is fresh and delicious. The tortilla's are hand made fresh on the spot, so are the sopapilla's. All their food is fabulous!
google avatar

Katherine S.

Yelp
On vacation and I'm so glad I stopped here! I love places like this and the enchiladas were incredible!! I definitely recommend this place! Don't go anywhere else!

Henry H.

Yelp
This place doesn't get enough love, when I go in it's always pretty empty. They make and press their own tortillas fresh and everything else is really good. It's chipotle/qdoba style where you go down the line and add what you want. The Al Pastor is phenomenal and on Monday's you can get a chicken burrito with all the fixings for $8. Hard to beat that and the chicken is really good too. Even though I never really see this place busy it must be popular since it survived the pandemic. In my opinion best mex in the springs.
google avatar

Camsie M.

Yelp
Delicioso! This place is similar to a Chipotle but totally homemade and amazing! You can build a custom bowl or burrito or tacos. I had a mix of carnitas and al Pastor- both of which were so yummy! I would be a regular if I lived here :)
google avatar

Greyson C.

Yelp
Great family business! Food is really good, and they have so many options for salsa which I LOVE. Their avocado salsa is my favorite, it has a kick to it and it's great. Their customer service is awesome, and their product quality is consistent and fresh.
google avatar

Amanda S.

Yelp
Fantastic burritos! I love that they have homemade tortillas. I got the California burrito and it had basically French fries in it so good and so filling! I needed a nap after this burrito y'all. My parents got the chicken enchiladas. They thought they were okay, but they were too "authentic" tasting for their liking. They prefer more Americanized Mexican food. They loved the sopapillas though! The service was great! They were super friendly. Only complaint was that the place seemed a little dirty. They definitely needed a remodel! Otherwise, it was a good lunch spot.
google avatar

Crista L.

Yelp
This place was excellent! Authentic, delicious Mexican cuisine! I had flour tacos (which were, by the way, made fresh from balls of dough, a press and flat grill) with Barbacoa and Al Pastor meat with chips & salsa. They offered to let us try different meats too! Too bad I'm not from Colorado Springs otherwise this would be a regular spot. Thanks Azada Mexican Grill for the wonderful lunch.

Anne M.

Yelp
Best breakfast burrito I've had in a while! Got the chorizo burrito with eggs and beans and potatoes with verde salsa and it was great.

I love coming here because it never gets boring and the food is hot, fresh, and delicious! THANK YOU AZADA, for being the best Mexican food in Downtown CO. Springs
google avatar

K M.

Yelp
Wow authentic Mexican in down town springs. Fresh made tortillas right in front of you. Fresh slow cooked beans, green salsa and chili eel lamps made right. There is plenty of fresh cilantro in everything. The quality was good. Service polite and helpful. They allow you to try before you buy the meats.

Tanya C.

Yelp
We ordered three asada tacos on flour tortillas. They were mostly fat. My son couldn't eat them all. He was disguised. Veggie burrito was delicious. Way over priced. My entire order with two small drinks was $29.

Myrium S.

Yelp
Really disappointed. Azada had always been my go to Mexican place. Unfortunately this last trip the portions were really poor. It's obvious that they're trying to save costs by making portions smaller. But, if you lose customers are you really benefiting? Lots of competitors fighting for customers... penny wise pound foolish.
google avatar

Hannah K.

Yelp
The service is fast, the prices are low, and the food is delicious. The horchata and tortillas are especially great here, as are the carnitas.
google avatar

Dick H.

Yelp
Good food, big servings. On our first visit, the staff was very patient and helpful. I thought the red sauce was a bit overpowering and no gravy on the relleno. The sopapillas were delicious, but crunchy. Not puffy like I'm accustomed to. They close at 8 - seems early. And no alcohol (margaritas)? Still, it really is a nice little place, with good food.
google avatar

Noah F.

Yelp
best burritos ive ever had. ive come here multiple times a week, every week, for four years of college. these good, incredibly kind, people even gave us shirts so we can have a little azada with us post-grad. if you get anything other than a burrito, i'm judging you.
google avatar

JeffreyandCaitlin E.

Yelp
It's good. Everything is homemade but I feel like it's lacking in some areas. It is basically another type of chipotle. But WAY more expensive. For a steak burrito (on the smaller side), chips and a small drink it was almost $21 for JUST ME! Seems overpriced. I don't know if I would pay that again.
