I just recently hired Azalea for catering for my wedding in May. Everything was absolutely wonderful! First, my husband and I had a great time at our coffee tasting. The coffee shop was clean and neat, the two baristas that helped us were so kind. They assisted us well in choosing our signature lattes and the coffees they made were amazing! Then, the team on the wedding day came and set up hours before so as to not be a bother during the ceremony and they did amazing. Not only that, but they were ready right during cocktail hour to serve out amazing coffees, lattes, and more! The personalized menu and latte duster was an incredibly sweet touch. I was so pleased with the service and the quality of the coffee we were served that day! 10/10 Recommend Azaleas for coffee catering!

We had Azalea cater our baby shower on 6.21.25. Not only did they go above and beyond with adding our special theme and helping with the reveal of the baby’s name to the menu and sleeves but they even went the extra mile of setting up early to avoid interruption to the event. The owner consulted me ever step of the way and answered any silly questions that came up. It really comes down to excellent service, attention to detail and just true passion for the craft. I absolutely 1000% would recommend this service.

We recently used Azalea for specialty takeaway lattes for a baby shower. Brittany & team is always responsive and easy to work with, and the iced lattes were the hit of the party. Probably won’t be hosting a party without them! We love supporting this local business!

Awesome local coffee business serving locally roasted beans, house made syrups and unique menu items. Love the decor and welcoming atmosphere. Their cold drinks were milk heavy but the hot lattes were on point. Definitely check them out!

Azalea Coffee is a "third place" for me. The seasonal menu is always imaginative and fun. The staff is friendly and always helpful. This is my number one coffee shop to grab a latte, work, and catch up with friends.

Delicious coffee! Quick and helpful service! Plus the workers were so kind and gave us adorable pup cups for our dogs! My favorite part is that they actually make the syrups from scratch! You can taste the love and creativity that they put in each cup!

They have unique and fun drinks here. Now if you're not a big coffee drinker they do have a few options from matcha to chai and just teas. I've come here a few times with my mom and friends. I love the building super cute and pink and it's a plus it's women owned and lgbtq friendly. I will say personally customer service has never stood out to me but all my coffee drinker friends love the drinks here so worth checking out. Last time I came I ordered a special chai that came with sweet potato syrup and toasted marshmallow it was different and delicious.

A personal favorite! On my last visit their Queen Cake Latte stole the show--creamy, spiced perfection a playful king cake twist with the cutest baby topper. The vibe here is joy: bright decor, walls splashed with color, and a jaw-dropping mural outside that's Instagram gold. Add in the warm, inclusive energy of its woman & LGBTQ-owned team, and you've got a space that feels both uplifting and welcoming. Don't skip it!

How CUTE and AESTHETIC is this place?!?!? (check out my photos and all of the other photos - omg) ^Such a fun, sweet, and relaxing vibe when you walk in. On top of that, the drinks are delicious and have the best names and ingredients! One suggestion I have (which I told the staff inside as well when I went in), is to include more gluten free food options. I think that would make this coffee bar quite literally perfection.

They were a pop up at a wedding i attended. It was an outdoor wedding and cold so people wanted coffee, but they were adamant about starting at a specific time. As a result, they held up the wedding and when told that they were, they made a snide remark back. On a side note, they had time to make a random coffee to take instagram photos for. I will give it to them the coffee was good. Just the way they held up the wedding and the way they went about it (coming off as rude) is why I'm giving them 2 stars total.

I always love visiting azalea. The decor, music, and staff are always relaxing/ pleasant/ nice and the coffee is great, too. I do wish there was a more robust food service available, but alas I go to coffee shops for coffee and not food. I also love supporting small businesses, especially women- owned!

Azalea Coffee Bar is such a gem! We visited on a Saturday (late) morning and found it moderately busy. The interior decor was incredibly cute - pink floral wall murals, cozy furniture, plants, string lights, etc. The menu featured exciting signature coffee drinks, and they also had a bunch of seasonal specials. My friend and I both chose the Olympian (seasonal), which was a blueberry cream cold brew with sprinkles. This was absolutely delicious and impressively strong. Service was friendly and the ambiance was calm and pleasant. I ended up going back the next day to try the (iced) Open Door, which was also delicious. Again, the coffee was very strong and I loved the rosemary flavor. Overall, big fan of Azalea Coffee Bar - will definitely be returning!

Supporting a small female owned business is a must in my book! I was thrilled to try Azalea. We stopped in around 730a needing 5 lattes. We ordered a mix of iced lattes, hot lattes and three of them were different specialty drinks. Service was FAST and friendly. I was impressed by how quick all of the beverages were made. I ordered the Queen Bee with oat milk and it's been the best latte I've had in the area. I brought my son an iced latte which held up perfectly for nearly 2 hours. Highly recommend.

Yay, found my go to coffee spot while in Columbia . Their lattes are delicious, very smooth and great crema without being bitter. I also appreciate that they are not scolding hot so the flavor is front and center. Although it takes us a 15 minute drive to get there, at this point we don't even want to mess around with another place just to be disappointed. Very cute interior too and friendly staff. Not a lot of food options but I'm here for the coffee so it doesn't bother me

Listen, Azalea's was packed on a Friday. I came with a colleague to have a meeting over coffee and vibes, and there were no seats available other than the ones around the counter of the service area. We were finally able to secure a table. I loved seeing this business thrive!   I loved the dishes in which the beverages are served. I ordered a mother's day hot. I started to try the justice beverage, but that chocolate was calling my name. Next time, justice will be my drink of choice because that one sounds delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my hot mother's day. The baristas who were working on that Friday really were glowing because the beverages were on point. Also, if there's no surrounding street parking, there may be available spots in the back of the building.

Super tiny cute coffee shop, inside was bright and had pretty art lining the walls, staff was friendly and knowledgeable, coffee was delicious. The baked goods were also delicious, our favorite was the banana muffin!

The orange you glad is a cute latte with 2-3 shots espresso, orange flavoring, and chocolate syrup with your choice of milk. Very tasty and fun drink. The teas are good too. Nice girls at a woman owned business in a flowery room. I just wish they would fix their leaky toilet :(

Charming & bright environment with friendly staff & patrons. The homemade Chai was delicious, but this veg sausage muffin reminds me of stuffing at Thanksgiving!!! The perfect savory compliment to a fluffy blueberry muffin.

There are some places that that take things and execute them at a higher level and some that take the creative route and offer new combinations. This place does a bit of both. Their drinks are interesting and even the names they came up with are a bit quirky yet cool. According to them, as much as can be, their products are sourced from other women owned businesses. We tried a couple of different drinks as well as some of the pastry offerings. The coffees and teas were very good. The pastries are sourced from other local companies. We tried the First Lady, talk show, and queen bee drinks I believe. They have great prices and even offer discounts to teachers as they are in close proximity to several schools. Overall it's everything you'd imagine a small coffee shop would be and it's nice to have something other than a Starbucks to enjoy.

Great little coffee shop in heart of Columbia. Parking lot is little small, but street parking near by. Enjoyed my drink without being overly sweet. Staff was very attentive and friendly. O

I love coffee! So any coffee shop that I get to try is a win for me. Immediately what caught my eye was the cute, pink and bright decor. I loved it. The inside is not big but it does have seating and even a nice sofa area with a cute background. The menu is not big at all which I usually look forward to when I visit a coffee shop but the choices they did have were unique and creative! I ordered two pastries; a coffee cake muffin and the cheddar chive scone which was huge! They were each $4 which was on the pricey side to me personally. The coffee cake muffin was delicious and moist. The scone although big had some flavor but could have used some moisture ( I know what scones are and their texture but it was on the dry side). They give you the option of warming them which I did. The staff was very friendly and helped with any questions I had. I'll definitely be back!

Me and a few friends went here not too long ago and it was wonderful. Staff were all very nice/customer service was great, the atmosphere was lovely and the menu had many great choices. Only issue I came across was a few molded blueberries in my parfait, which I picked out and decided not to bring up as to not disturb the kind staff there seeing as I resolved the issue myself, however besides that everything was amazing. Loved the hot chocolate as well. 11/10, most likely will go again and highly recommend if you want a peaceful break from the outside world.

Best pup cup Finn has ever received!! (Pup cup has beef liver sprinkles and milk bones) Azalea also has very unique espresso specialty drinks and the employees were so nice. Great spot!

Amazing service, atmosphere, and COFFEE! We got the Open Door (rosemary!) and an orange cardamom seasonal offering. Both were amazing and so well crafted.

This coffee shop is sooo cute. The vibes are incredible from the decor to the names of the drinks. The drinks are really good and they have Ally & Eloise pastries, which are delicious. I got the open door drink, which is an iced latte with oat milk and rosemary vanilla syrup. I also got an Ally & Eloise chocolate scone that they heated up. I don't know how often they do it since I don't live in Columbia, but they had a little market in front with some black-owned businesses this morning (Sunday). There were at least 3 vendors and it looked like 1 more person was setting up and this was around 9:30-10 am. If you live in Columbia or find yourself in the area, definitely check out this coffee shop!

The best coffee I've had out of all the coffee shops in the city. No where else can I drink something from the menu without dumping a bunch of sugar/creamer in it to cover the taste. No need to memorize a paragraph of a custom order. Read menu, select drink, and you are good. Fast too, drink and a snack took no longer than three or four minutes. Finally while it is small its a nice and cozy vibe, all that's missing is a crackling fireplace.

This is a stellar coffee shop. It is very tastefully decorated with a floral pink plant theme. It has great space for sitting and finding a nook to work or chill in. The coffee is delicious, I got an iced latte with the Vanilla Rosemary syrup and it was perfect. The vibes are good, and they have a feminist thing going on. The baristas were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.

Super disappointed. Walked an hour to what seemed like the best coffee shop in Columbia, SC. Only to receive a drink with very poor milk quality. I don't need latte art, I need properly steamed milk by a competent barista. I'm not sure why anyone would look at this and think this is acceptable. Micro foam for days.... It has to be terrible training because I could hear the barista obliterating the milk and the sound alone should warrant serious concern that they didn't know it wasn't good and should have dumped the milk and remade it. NOT A THIRD WAVE OR SPECIALTY COFFEE SHOP.

This adorable chic coffee bar is located off of Devine Street. The outer appearance is welcoming. The business does have a few parts available in front of the building and on the side. The barista was very friendly and informative and the inside of the shop is absolutely stunning. Very clean and inviting with a hint of chic and sas! The cold brew was absolutely delicious and the chive and cheddar biscuit was perfection! They have a lot of specialty drinks with cute names and interesting concoctions.

This place is nothing short of amazing. This visit was my first time here , I described what kind of coffee I enjoy to the barista and was suggested the iced "justice" ...it was PERFECT. It was very creamy and rich, I didn't need to add a thing to it. It wasn't too sweet or too strong. The staff was friendly and the aesthetic was so cute. I've tried many coffee spots but this one is special. I love the women empowerment theme and all of the souvenirs and goodies they have for sale. I purchased a sticker !

The coffee is very good! They put love into each cup! We are traveling in from out of town on our search of the perfect cup. Very close we will be back again tomorrow!

This little gem appears to be a fairly new spot downtown. When I walked in, I immediately loved the atmosphere. Everything is spotless, and the staff were warm and friendly. I ordered the "Talk Show" (espresso, hazelnut chai, steamed milk) and it was divine. I could taste the quality of ingredients, and pricing was very reasonable! I feel sure you could customize drinks to your preference, but I very much appreciate a "specialty" coffee drink that doesn't taste like diabetes! I did not see a sign about masks, but the staff wore masks and there were also a few tables and chairs for outdoor seating. I will definitely be back to try more of their specialty drinks, and to support a local, woman owned business!

I love this coffee shop and plan to visit everytime Im in Columbia. Their drink specials are great and the environment is amazing to get work done with the natural light coming in. Not lots of space or parking but still a great small coffee shop with delicious lattes.

No shame on chain coffee shops, but COLA definitely was in need of another local coffee shop. Azalea has easily become one of my top local favorites here in Columbia. First of all, I absolutely love the mission statement of this shop. Azalea is truly here to serve the community, providing baked goods and selling other products from other local, female entrepreneurs to the area. I have always been welcomed by a friendly face, which makes it so lovely to be there. Their speciality coffee is absolutely amazing. Who knew rosemary and espresso could pair so beautifully? Prices are very reasonable and exactly how much you'd pay at Starbucks, if not cheaper. Please please please stop by if you have the chance! Can I also mention how ADORABLE the interior is?!

Superrrrr cute coffee shop on the corner of Devine and Woodrow! The decor is boho chic, and the vibe is super chill. There is adequate seating for you and your friends at the bar-top, cute first date couples seating, outdoor seating, and even a study nook for you to get some tasks done while you sip your coffee! They have several options, but I chose the Grassroots Specialty Drink. Not overly sweet, but it was delicious and will satisfy a sweet tooth. I didn't see many food options (vegan muffins and cakepops were the only things on display), but it looks like they will be adding more soon. The staff was kind, and gave recommendations for my preferences. Extra credit because the bathroom was clean! They also seem to support women, I saw several things referencing women businesses and recommending notable women in the community - LOVE THAT! Overall, this was a good experience, I'd definitely come back here. *STUDENT AND TEACHER DISCOUNT ON SELECT DRINKS*

I usually pass by this place on my way to work and I decided to check it out today. Such a cute inside and definitely one of the best cold brews I've ever had. Super sweet staff too. Love this local coffee shop. Definitely recommend checking this out

They will recommend the perfect drink to match your preference if it's your first time, just feel free to ask. most bad reviews seem to have alot of strong opinions regarding decor and it's sad that some men don't feel comfortable ordering delicious coffee in such a cute shop, it truly is a safe space for all genders and identities that respect each other

I absolutely adore this place! Having worked at a coffee shop before, the barista was super knowledgeable and did a beautiful job with her latte art. I was also pleasantly surprised by how well priced the coffee was considering the gorgeous decor and the flavorings that came with the drink I ordered. If you have a chance to stop by, I can't recommend this place enough!

Stopped in for a hot afternoon iced coffee. The interior is kind of embarrassingly put together, and the service is lackluster. I could overlook all of that if the coffee was decent, but unfortunately it's worse than any of the national chains out there. A bummer because I recently bought a house very close by and had high hopes.

Delicious, So many fun flavors. It's a small shop but it is so cute inside! So many little fun touches. Also super nice workers.

I'm a barista at a cafe back home up north and even though this place actually has the cutest interior decoration, the coffee sucks and it's so expensive. I can make a hotter latte on my cheap Mr.Coffee espresso machine in my dorm. Paid $6 for a warm latte that's not that great.
