We had an awesome tasting experience here and would highly recommend a visit. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, we got to see the cellar and vineyards, and had great small bites served with the wine. Well worth the trip.

Our visit was proposed by Iblaresort Hotel in Ragusa, and what a great recommendation it turned out to be. Our English-speaking guide was superb: a grand mixture of knowledge, humour and energy. His enthusiastic really brought the entire process to life for us, and his respect and admiration for Arianna was very obvious - and very endearing. We learnt a lot about the process and got a really deep appreciation for the importance of soil and climate, but also for the vast array of decisions the oenologist needs to make. Arianna Occhipinti is one of the giants in organic winemaking now and it was a real joy to explore her vineyard and winery. We massively recommend this tour, especially with our guide and especially the tasting with the bread, caponata and olives. HOWEVER: If you arrange for them to ship wine to (for example) the UK, they charge VAT (22%) and then you pay the duties on arrival. Really, for export Occhipinti should look at setting up so that VAT is not payable beacsue it's being exported. This makes the wines extremely expensive. An alternative would be to provide lists of stockists in other countries.

The tour was amazing. The grounds and winemaking process are truly unique. We did only the tour and tasting without a full meal so I can’t comment on that but what we do there was top notch. The cellar was really wonderful to see. The style of wine they produce hear were not my personal favorites but everything else make it worth a visit.

The absolute best wine tasting in all of Italy hands down. Don’t hesitate, run! Our guide, Paolo, is a sommelier and his passion for wine just shines through the tour. I loved every single moment of this tour and I know you will too.

I had heard so many great reviews about Occhipinti wines in the wine industry and it totally met the expectations and even exceeded them! My personal favourites were SM Grillo 2021, PT 2019 and Cerasuolo di Vittoria 2018. Definitely will recommend to taste them if you get a chance and all of their other wines! It’s a winery with their own philosophy towards sustainable viticulture, having a small veggie garden and fruit trees next to the vineyards for the biodiversity. Marica was a very friendly and knowledgeable host, it was a big pleasure to be hosted by her. Many thanks for a great experience 🙏🥂♥️

We visited this amazing winery in April of this year (I know I am slow to to get my reviews up). We stayed in Ragusa and got a taxi out here for a tour. This was our only winery visit and really our only visit into the countryside during our trip to Sicily. It was a great tour. I had been concerned about the price, as it was about 30 Euro each but totally worth it. We were given something to drink right when we arrived. We had our five year old with us and he was given a special drink as well. The tour was very comprehensive and I learned a lot not just about the winery but this part of Sicily as well. The tasting was in a magnificent room and the person that gave the tour and tasting knew her stuff. I would go back for a second round. It was truly a wonderful Sicilian experience.
