In general the reinvented Sahara has leveled up and can now compete with other hotels within its class (e.g. Downtown Grand, The Orleans etc., Suncoast etc.).
However, Azilo Pool is a game changer of sports, swim, sexiness, and sun. Sorry Circo, Sahara is true competition.
From online booking, to responsive phones calls, and connecting with the customer. Impressive and appreciated.
I reserved the Daybed Spa. If you are a sports aficionado and plan to watch "the sporting event", then this daybed rental may not be the spizzo for you. Yet, it is located in one of the most shady areas with only three other daybeds and 5 steps from the restroom, 10 steps to the bar, no steps to the stage, 2 steps to the jacuzzi. The daybed can comfortably accommodate four if you relax horizontally. I pretty much relaxed, pampered up and ate at the daybed. I reserved a random chair by the bar with my sarong and I had a fun-filled, bronze tanning day with good azz drank's! The highlight for me was there are curtains you can untie around the daybed for privacy. Because the area is in the furthest corner, your belongings are safe. Don't get pollyannish though.
In comparison to the Circo, the Sahara offers fair prices for high value, authentic pool lounge experience with cabanas, pool beds, daybeds, chaise seating, bar seating, and other amenities at high value. To put the cherry on top, there are also HUGE mega screens (similar to Circo) to stay in-the-know of sports. Winning.
Cabana servers were lively, attentive, and customer focused. I had a burger and fries and it was good. But the coconut margarita was a beast.
I rolled solo and because I don't want to get anywhere early to compete for seating., I reserve Cabanas or daybeds because I want to be comfortable. The price point is insignificant considering I would likely spend the same amount anyway reserving a lounge chair, eating and dranking.
Azilo lounge is highly recommended to experience.
Proper tipping is good karma.
