Stopped at this farmers market, in a really fast & in a hurry, looking only for fresh watermelon. It was what my mother-n-law had requested right after a rough heart surgery. Don’t let the appearance deter you, because it’s a wonderful place to shop at. My only regret, we didn’t have more time to really look throughout the entire market. They have everything and so much more, they has beautiful exotic fruits, vegetables, nuts, handmade products & goods, chef’s and restaurants culinary products, gardener gadgets, tools, terracotta pots, gifts for everyone, gift baskets and so much more. I’m marking this spot on google maps, to return whenever we can return with extra time to spend.

Google
Great spot to visit while in Houston. Fresh fruits, spices, and lots of South American products. There are few food trucks in the area. The weekend is when all stores are open. The mangoes were awesome, and the best part is that the vendors let you try samples before you buy. To me, it felt like I was in Mexico. Highly recommended spot, and I suggest to haggle for price.

Google
Very fun and interesting opportunity to experience Hispanic culture! Great food, variety of produce, and ingredients. Food is fresh and made right in front of you. Had a good time! I think they could benefit by cleaning the place up a bit and making more formal spots to set up their stalls. Also has a potential to be a great club or event spot if it stayed open later. Hope to see it continue to evolve!

Google
This place is amazing!! You know fresh fruits and veggies are my JAM!!! You can also find various artisans work for your front yard, Decor, or even for home decor. They were also people selling home items. There was also a section that was selling power tools either for construction or lawn maintenance.

Google
Easy access with plenty of parking as well as handicap parking. Clean establishment with some air conditioned sections. Lots of fresh vegetables and fruits stand with a large variety. Looking for a unique herb or natural tea mix infusion they have lots of options there. We found lavender blooms for $10 for a 1/4 of a pound!

Google
Fun place to visit, they have a great variety of fresh fruits, seeds and food, it’s a cool Mexican market, on the outside they offer tacos and other street foods, also cut fruits to eat right there. There is a bar and live music inside. There are a few small store with clothing and one that sell sweets and seasoned chips. Definitely a must try!

Yelp
I went to this market on a recommendation unfortunately it was like being pulled in different directions by the vendors. You couldn't enjoy yourself just looking without being assaulted by vendors shove fruit in your face and being overbearing. When we finally decided to buy a mango the vendor looked at us and asked $10 for 3 when the same mangos were being sold for $8 a box of 8. The products were very nice, we went to the Houston Farmers Market much nicer facility people were a bit more friendlier. Learned a lot today

Yelp
It's a small farmers market but well kept clean and cute. We were here on a Tuesday so lots of food (restaurants) were closed. There was only one restaurant opened but the food was not good. The market was open but partially. I guess it would be best to come on the weekends where is fully operated.

Yelp
Seems like a new farmers market in town! It was small but had many things to look at and food vendors! I got an elote, it was one of the best ones I've had! I also got a tejuino drink with limón ice cream and it was super refreshing! I'm excited to see this place grow!

Yelp
Awesome market! I came here while I was visiting my friend in Houston. I found this place on Instagram and had to add this location to our itinerary. The market is huge with plenty of stands and shops to purchase from. There were so many things I wanted to buy, but I had to stay on a budget haha. My friend and I got elote in a cup and a cantarito. This was my first time getting a cantarito and I was so excited. The lady even gave put extra tequila in mines. The cantarito was so refreshing! The elote was amazing as well. There is a small parking lot near the market. I'm not sure if there was any other lots, but it's also street parking.

Yelp
Such a beautiful, fun place full of culture and life! Everyone was so friendly and the food was amazing. Everything smelled great and the produce was all fresh. The prices were a bit high for some things, but worth it.

Yelp
We arrived specifically for breakfast @ 815am on a Wednesday and we're directed all the way to the back of the market. Las 4 Monarcas it had authentic food, authentic atmosphere, authentic staff. I had a plate with a spoonful of everything I wanted. My boyfriend had 3 gorditas of Chile verde, mole, and huevo en salsa. We both had coffee. EVERYTHING was delicious. We will be back next time in town.

Yelp
The cutest little market you never knew you needed to visit. It's an open air market for the most part. There are several vendors throughout selling fresh produce, Mexican candies, health related products and vitamins, etc. it's a nice place to stop on an early saturday Morning. The employees are very sweet and helpful. Prices are also reasonable! So the tacos... yummmmmmy. Made fresh in the back of the market. Seems like there are typically multiple vendors, but the taqueria was the only one open. They sell tortas, tacos, quesadillas, etc. I ordered carne asada tacos and my friends ordered al pastor tacos.

Yelp
Very cool outdoor market!! Really felt like I was transported to a different country! Loved the vibes! Everyone was so friendly! Good variety of Mexican food and drinks! Great place to buy fruit, herbs, and toys! Had a fun time here

Yelp
Cute farmers market that transport you to Mexico! All the vendors are super friendly and sell for the majority the same items, candy, fruits, dried herbs, etc. A vendor Gad quite a few plants, flowering shrubs, trees, and many pepper plants. There's a couple bars and 2 food trucks. We stopped at Taqueria Luna and it was delicious! Our tacos were amazing with homemade tortillas, delicious and tender meats (pastor, fajita & barbacoa), quesadilla was good and the pupusa are fantastic as well! The salsa that came with it were great as well and had a little kick! Highly recommend if you're near!

Yelp
I've been here twice now. Such a cultural feel I love it. Everything is so fresh! So hurry up and buy before it goes bad! Lol. Herbs spices and everything nice. The elote was delicious. Not uncomfortably overcrowded which is a big plus. My monthly visit here is on the calendar w the rest of the bests!

Yelp
Went on weekday, probably even better on weekends. Couldn't help wonder if prices increased for some things because we were two nicely dressed Caucasian women.

Yelp
Love this market! A step into a whole new environment. There was a variety of fruits, vegetables, juices, and spices. People were friendly and ready to give you a sample of their delicious variety of fresh fruit. Here you can have a beautifully decorated cocktail at the bar with music playing and couples dancing. We were offered complementary tamales that were out of this world delicious! There are so many shops with jewelry, clothing, and outdoor decor. Lots of unique pottery too. Love this market, highly recommend a visit! Dress cool!

Yelp
Step out of Houston and into little Mexico. Wow - I didn't know places like this actually existed in Houston! I really felt like I was at a market in CDMX. The array of bulk spices was extremely impressive, along with the large quantities of fresh fruits and vegetables. There were many varieties of different items, too. For example, there was a vendor selling 4 different types of mango. The whole market is open-air, though most of the stalls are covered. There were also several impressive stalls with housewares, toys, plants, shoes, or piñatas. My favorite stall was the outdoor metal/ironworks area with many lawn ornaments and beautiful pottery. I'm almost convinced to quit buying live plants for my yard, and just fill my flowerbed with the beautiful metal cacti and succulents! There are several food stalls and trucks, which sell cooked meats, tacos, pupusas, and more. I didn't know there would be that much food, so next time, I'll come with an appetite. We think they are cash-only, but some stalls were marked as accepting "Zelle;" There are 2 gas stations nearby with ATMs if you need more cash, though. I cannot recommend a visit to this market enough! 10 out of 10 - will return!

Yelp
If you go to Azteca Farmers Market you HAVE to go to Toque Tacos if you are in the area! Excellent authentic breakfast and dinner tacos. From the handmade tortillas to the quality of the meat they use was perfect. This is my new secret spot, 5/5!
