Got to try out this food cart for a late lunch. Ordered the Al Pastor burrito and got the green avocado salsa. Not too bad on the taste: definitely better with the salsa. Customer service was okay. The gentleman was pretty quick on getting the burrito done and it was piping hot 👍. Overall not too shabby, but likely won't be getting anything from here again.

I had an amazing meal at Azul Tequila Taqueria in Milwaukie, and I can’t recommend this place enough! The quesbarbacoa was absolutely delicious—perfectly tender and packed with flavor. The consome broth was an actual experience. I didn't know you were supposed to dip your quesadilla in it and whoa was it good! What really took it to the next level was their habanero sauce—a perfect balance of heat and creaminess that really elevated my meal. The food here is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The portions are generous, and the service is friendly. Whether you're a fan of classic Mexican flavors or looking for something with a little extra kick, this spot is a must-try. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and check out Azul Tequila Taqueria. You won’t be disappointed! 🌮🔥

Google
Expensive, bland food that I couldn't eat more than a couple bites of. My chicken was hard as a rock, there were hard bits that shouldn't be hard in the rice, beans, and even the guacamole. I won't be eating here again. Our $8 chips and pico were also super dry.

Food was so good. I ordered the barbacoa tacos and everytime i order them they are always good. I have gone other places and its never consistent, but Azul Tequila Taqueria always is.

Google
This is the worst Mexican food I've ever had. The most plain tacos you'll ever have. No flavor. Not authentic at all

Google
Holy cow this was the best vegetarian tacos I’ve had. Super loaded. I got the grilled veggie and the soy curls and both were fantastic.

Google
I used to go to Azul Tequila Taqueria a lot for its Pechuga Burrito. I stopped going after trying it a few times recently. It has totally lost all its flavor, more beans, less chicken, less taste. Let me know when you get back to the good recipe.

Google
I tried this place first a month or so ago. I got the soy curl burrito. It comes vegan as it is which I think is always a good sign. Vegetarian burritos where you have to remove the dairy often feels like it’s missing something. The avocado sauce on the soy curl burrito adds creaminess. The soy curls are seasoned so well. Everything is mixed well so you get a taste of all of it in each bite. I bought it and truly thought it was the best burrito I’ve had. I’ve been thinking on it since and thought maybe I was in a good mood that day and it was idealized in my head. I went back with my husband (who is not vegan) today and we both got burritos. Can confirm it’s the best burrito I’ve had. My husband loved his breakfast burrito too. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Torta was not good or worth $12. Barely got any carne asada and the little that I did get, it looked like I got 1/3 of a cup cut into little pieces. Pretty much just ate lettuce with a little bit of onions, a small quantity of beans, and some carne asada.

Yelp
Second time at this food truck pod first time trying azul. The gentleman behind the counter was distracted and semi pleasant. The truck itself looked clean with no observed concerns. There is a lot of picnic tables in the pods ready to seat a lot of people. We ordered the asada burrito and carnitas quesadilla which were ready in about 15 minutes. We sat down and got to work. The asada burrito was ok. Some good flavors but a mix between tough pieces and tender pieces of meat. The carnitas quesadilla was also ok. Tender meat but no crispness as we hope for. Little on the greasy side but not over the top. The hot sauces we good and great accompaniment. If I was in the area, I might come again but I would not make a special trip.

Yelp
Went here yesterday for a girls brunch and the food was hands down the best breakfast I've ever had. Wait was long but worth it. Was able to order drinks and a cinnamon roll while we waited. Highly reccomend and will be coming back to this hidden gem very soon.

Yelp
My husband and I were out for a drive and wanted to try a new food truck. We wound up at this truck location, a quaint spot with quite a few trucks....although most were closed on NY day when we were there. Out of the 4 open we chose azul. No apparent wait at the other trucks, however azul let us know he was backed up with phone orders so we'd have a wait. We chose to wait, and our order was ready in about 15-20 minutes. Our tacos and quesadillas were served hot and fresh, and we chose to eat right there in our car. My husbands tacos were loaded with meat, decent flavor for sure, but only meat and cilantro. My quesadillas were full, lots of chicken and cheese, but not much flavor (I prefer onions, peppers etc inside). They did provide a small side of guacamole, salsa, and creme, but not enough to cover all the quesadillas. It was a decent, average meal. Worth the wait? Maybe not, but at least we were full after eating.

Yelp
Been here a few times throughout the past 2 years with the same lack luster result. I had a carne asada burrito. Just had the meat, rice, beans and maybe lettuce or was it guacamole? It was super salty, no flavor, no pico de gallo, no sour cream no lime. I chose the asada, as that meat is usually popular with Mexican carts and is a safe bet. I paid about $11.75 plus tip and he requested cash for payment. For the price of the burrito, I'm expecting a better product. The hot sauce was a red creamy sauce that was also salty...I'm not sure if the cook is tasting his own cooking. Hope it gets better soon.

Yelp
I love the food here. I've been coming to one of their carts since 2018, and now the one near home. There used to be the friendliest fellow working there. I miss him. The guy at Milwaukie now doesn't seem to like his job much. Sad. But I love the food enough to keep coming back.

Yelp
I was extremely disappointed. I ordered two taco pollos. They used two mini tortillas for each taco ($3.50 ea).. I don't mean small...I mean mini. They had very little chicken in them (nothing special) and only pico de gallo on top. I was expecting some lettuce and cheese and a chili like the picture. They were nothing like the picture. I ordered rice and beans ($4 for a scoop of each) and was able to piece together a meal. I wont be back.

Yelp
Very delicious. Recommend to anyone. I got the Quesa Barbacoa with jamaica. So refreshing drink.

Yelp
We ordered 2 vegetarian burritos. The Mexican rice was dried out and hard. Salsa was good. The sauteed mushrooms were greasy and very little spinach in the "organic burrito". Plus as others have said, the guy wasn't too friendly. And we tipped well without any thanks. We've been to the other location and had a better experience.

Yelp
I had the California burrito and it was excellent. Good, balanced portions of everything.

Yelp
I have walked down and tried to eat here now 6 times (for real, 6 times!) during their regular listed business hours and have continued to find it closed every. single. time! Last weekend, I was happy to find it open, but just as I was about to order, the person working looked me straight in the eye, didn't say a word, then rudely turned the sign over to "closed". I couldn't believe it. I stood there with my mouth open stunned by the lack of crap-giving this place has. Nothing I could say in this review will make a difference in that I can't see this place surviving much longer. Very disappointing.

Yelp
When you have food allergies you have to be diligent to find good food that not only meet your requirements but is also good tasting. Azul Tequila Taqueria in Milwaukie is such an establishment. Their chef listens. And he makes suggestions. The result is a delicious south of the border incredible cuisine. No dairy? No problem substitute avocado. Can't do night shade , no problem - extra lettuce with beans and rice. Switch it up combine meats and create something new. I love this place. It's local, festive, friendly and affordable. Check them out for yourself and enjoy their fiesta of flavors!

Yelp
This place is on a whole other level!! We tried 3 different kinds of tacos and each were amazing. The chili verde is incredibly tender, and the pastor and carnitas are both packed with flavor. They use fresh ingredients for everything and you can taste it. They don't scrimp on serving size either, 4 tacos a piece and we were stuffed! Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
So disappointing. I read such nice reviews and had high expectations. I ordered the pollo tacos, chips and guacamole. I got rings tacos, which I can't eat, and the chips were re: fried and totally inedible - like rubber. The guan was old and brown. If I hadn't already driven home I would have asked for a refund.

Yelp
This food truck had something I consider hard to find, Tinga Chicken. I had it in a burrito, and it ranks among the best I've ever had. Give it a try, simply awesome.

Yelp
I had to Cana Sada burrito two times both times it was nasty. I'm sure you're wondering why I had it a second time then it's because I forgot and ordered from the same place but figured I'd already ordered I would tried one more time but got the same result.

Yelp
Seriously delicious quesadilla special!! I happened to stumble upon this place as I was just in the area and figured why not order something different. I honestly didn't even fully understand what I ordered, just sorta read the "Quesa-Barbacoa Quesdallia" and thought to myself "cheese-meat-cheese" what could go wrong with that? What I got was a delicious shredded beef quesadilla that I imagine must have been cooked on a flat top drenched in the beefs juices. It ended up tasting a bit like a really great enchilada and a quesdallia had a baby. This spicy miracle was served alongside some refreshing house made guac with a side of fried jalapeño and caramelized onions. The combination of sweet, spicy and savory was as the cool kids would say "fire". I sadly devoured the whole thing before realizing that I should have taken a picture of this gift to humanity. But honestly a special so good that you could open a truck serving only varieties of this one plate. I will be back, I just hope it is still there!

Yelp
Burrito tasted like metal. Would not recommend going to this place even to enemy's. They took forever to make them and no one else was ordering there. Stay away

Yelp
Really good! I've had three different burrito's. The bacon breakfast burrito is great. The refried beans are tasty. I recommend giving Azul Tequila a try!

Yelp
Cilantro Warning: There is cilantro in the guacamole. If you absolutely HATE cilantro I would recommend asking for no guac. If you can handle a little bit, then you should be fine. The portion I got had a pretty small amount of cilantro, and the other delicious flavors of the guacamole and other ingredients made up for it. I couldn't decided between the organic burrito and the grilled veggie burrito so I got them as tacos, one of each kind. They were both good. The tofu was actually marinated so it had some flavor to it. It had the texture of unpressed tofu, which I don't mind. It really was good. But imagine how much more delicious flavor it could absorb if they pressed it before marinating it(I did come on a busy day, the grand opening of Milwaukie station, so it is possible they ran out of prepped tofu and just hadn't had time to press this batch. Though I would be surprised if people in Milwaukie were THAT into tofu). I will definitely come back for them in burrito form. Organic first, then later the grilled veggie. Maybe I will call in a to-go order

Yelp
The whole family got something and everything was delicious. Very nice guy and fast service. The habanero sauce is bomb! Will eat at Azul Tequila again. Got the organic burrito myself and it was really good.

Brian H.

Yelp
The food was pretty good and I'd say worth the wait, however... The man working was just plain rude to myself and customers in front of me for no reason? Again the food wasn't bad and maybe he was having an off day but definitely ruined the experience a bit.

Yelp
Not my favorite. The tacos were bland. The service wasn't great. I asked for my food to go twice and they still just gave it to me on a plate. I felt like an inconvenience to them for ordering.

Yelp
Great food and great service, so I'll definitely return to try again. I ordered the steak fajita burrito, chorizo tacos, and both were very flavorful. The burrito in particular was very well balanced, filling, and easily the best one I've had in a long time.

Yelp
This review is for the taco truck on SE Stark. I had the chicken burrito and it was very bland. They didn't offer any salsa or have any sitting out. It probably wouldn't have helped, the food had no seasoning. Good service, though

Yelp
Amazing food! Super fast and extremely friendly service. If I could I'd eat there everyday. Thanks for cooking for us.

Yelp
The food and service is great. I had the Pastor burrito and the Chile Verde tacos, and they were both very tasty. The pork was very tender and well seasoned, and the mexican rice was very good. The girl working the window was very friendly and nice, and the guy working the grill knew what he was doing and put out some great food. As a first time customer. The combination of great food, great service, and affordable prices will have me coming back. Very pleased and would highly recommend. I think when I go back I will try the enchiladas, there's definitely alot of appetizing options.

Bill M.

Yelp
Food was bland. Maybe they are having growing pains. I hope they improve.
