Azur Restaurant

Azur was a delightful treat for brunch with a friend. Our server was extremely kind and gave us a knowledgeable run down of the menu. She recommended the eggplant chips and she was right! Topped with honey, they were the perfect salty sweet combination. Their version of the Caesar salad was solid. The egg frittata was a good portion and probably great if you like eggs more than I do. I appreciated the size of our cocktails. My French 79 was amazing!

We had a wonderful dinner at Azur and really enjoyed the overall experience. The menu felt thoughtful and well executed, the atmosphere was intimate without feeling stuffy, and the pacing of the meal was spot on. Our server, Max, was friendly and knowledgeable and made great recommendations throughout the evening. After dinner, he suggested an espresso martini and made it himself it ended up being a highlight of the night. I’ve traveled extensively and had espresso martinis in many places, and this one stood out for its balance and smoothness. From the table setup to the attention to detail, everything felt intentional and well cared for. A great choice for a relaxed but refined dinner, and a place we’d confidently recommend to visitors and locals alike.

Dinner at Azur was calm, polished, and exactly what we were hoping for. The atmosphere is intimate and relaxed, a nice contrast to the busier restaurants in the area, and it immediately sets the tone for an unhurried evening. The food was thoughtfully prepared with clean flavors and nice presentation, and the pacing of the meal felt very natural. Nothing was rushed, and nothing sat too long. Our server, Max, was professional and attentive throughout the night, checking in at the right moments and making sure everything flowed smoothly. Service like that makes a noticeable difference in the overall experience. Azur is a great choice for a quieter, refined dinner where quality and atmosphere matter. We’d definitely return.

Personal service, attentive, and professional. The food was amazing, cooked to order. The restaurant is clean and staff was great. The swordfish special with crab, shrimp, asparagus and potato was perfectly cooked. We were a party of 5 and we're not rushed to turn the table over. Max. the manager, greeter, bartender was wonderful and accommodating. Highly recommend Azur for food, service and cleanliness.

Stumbled upon Azur for dinner and couldn’t be happier we did. The place has a cozy, tucked-away vibe and the food was absolutely delicious every dish was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. Max took great care of us; super friendly and knew the menu inside and out. It’s not on the main drag, but that’s part of the charm. A fantastic spot for a laid-back yet elevated meal in Key West.

We went back twice during our 4-day stay in KW, the food was so good. The service was perfect - we had to wait ~ 10 minutes to be seated the first night even though we had a reservation. No big deal as far as we were concerned but the waiter gave us a free glass of wine to 'make up for the wait'. We had branzino, octopus, the frisee salad, and a swordfish special. All excellent. And the setting is lovely - conducive to conversation but lively.

We had a very disappointing dinner experience at Azur. The food was noticeably too salty, and service was extremely slow from start to finish. We also had multiple simple requests during the meal, but the response was consistently delayed. One female server repeatedly told us she would “check with the supervisor,” yet nothing happened and we eventually had to ask the supervisor ourselves to get any resolution. That left us feeling ignored and misled. To make matters worse, the gratuity was not optional. A 21% gratuity was automatically added on the post-tax total, which was unexpected and not communicated clearly to us in advance. We are happy to tip for good service, but being forced into a high gratuity after such poor service felt unfair. Overall, we left frustrated and would not recommend this place based on our experience

Azur in Key West is an outstanding restaurant—perfect for a special occasion! The food was absolutely delicious, and while it's on the expensive side, it’s worth every penny. Our waitress, Fatima, was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and gave excellent recommendations that made our meal even better. The atmosphere is lovely, making it a great spot to celebrate. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed a wonderful brunch on a quiet Tuesday morning where we were the only ones in the restaurant. The spicy Bloody Mary's were delicious and we really enjoyed both entrees. Definitely worth seeking out this restaurant.

Came here on a Monday afternoon with my bf and we were seated right away. The place has indoor and outdoor seating but we sat inside and it's kind of tight. We were close to our neighbor's table. We ordered two dishes from their summer special menu ($10 each) which one included steak and fries and the other was like a hummus platter. The steak one was okay, the steak was very chewy but the hummus one was really good. We enjoyed that one. I ordered an orzo salad on the side and it was kind of bland. We ordered the Greek salad and it was delicious. It came with fried feta on top... never had that before but I loved it. Came back this past Monday and had horrible service with Maria outside. She never came to our table, and brought the check multiple times when we weren't finished? We specifically told her we would be ordering espresso martinis after brunch and she didn't care lol didn't ask if we wanted dessert or another bottle of wine.... Nothing. Super disappointing. At times we had to go inside of the restaurant to have her come out to our table bc we needed things. Disappointing service but the food was good. This time I opted for their brunch "ROESTI" which had a Potato Pancake, Brie, Prosciutto, Arugula, Hollandaise.

Came here for the brunch and came back for the dinner. Soooooo good. I don't understand why it's not packed with people. We also walked in at 8pm. We were told it was more a local spot. It's not on Duvall St but it's definitely worth walking, biking, golf carting to. For brunch have the French toast and choice of eggs Benedict. For dinner get the lamb and yellow tail snapper...don't forget the cauliflower pecorino cheese.

Food excellent. Service was good. This is our second visit. We ordered the duck and pine nut gnocchi with arugula. The entrees are very fine and beautifully arranged on the plate. We will most likely return

The dinner here is superb. I went 10 years ago and returned just last weekend on a weekend getaway and thoroughly enjoyed the octopus and duck. My date loved the lamb. The espresso martini was also delish. Would recommend dinner 10/10. We were both less a fan of the brunch, however.

I read other reviews and I guess they went on a different day/time. Brunch was on the menu and I couldn't decide between the Crab cake sandwich and the key lime french toast. As a native Marylander I'm always looking for a comparable crab cake...this wasn't bad. The mimosa was what I expected, nothing short of glass of beach flavor. Azur is one more spot pulling me to become a native.

Wonderful dinner! It is a smaller, intimate restaurant which I loved. The service was top tier, and we had a great time joking around with our waiter. The octupus was to die for as well as the lamb. We all loved our meal here!

What a find out of the main stream but near Westwinds inn. The food was so good we went back the next night. My wife absolutely loved the tilefish special. Prices reasonable. Ambiance good especially outside dining.

Terrific restaurant in Key West. Menu has a wide variety of options. Tuna carpaccio was the best I've ever had. Very fresh. Got the beef gnocchi as my main and it did not disappoint. Drinks were great too. Make reservation - it was busy.

The food was ok/good, fully cooked with good presentation, but flavors were a little blah (no bold flavors) but appropriate for the food we ordered. We sat outside, pleasant, quiet atmosphere staff and service was operating at a touch slower pace than what we expected.

One of the best, most consistant restaurants in Key West. I love breakfast, lunch and dinner here. For dinner, the fresh catch special is always great. The prices are reasonable for the quality. The service I'd excellent and the atmosphere, with both indoor and outdoor seating, is very nice. The chef owner is almost always here. I live in Key West and dine out often. This is one of the only restaurants I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal. With its location off Duval, you don't get the loud drunks or rowdy groups. I highly recommend Azur for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Lucas, our waiter, was amazing in accommodating our special requests for gluten free options. We ate the fresh catch of the day (egg battered tile fish) on a bed of shrimp and broccolini. We started with an incredibly fresh ahi tuna carpaccio and finished off with a flourless chocolate cake, homemade ice cream and a glass of Madeira. Perfect evening.

We were in one of the local bars and a local recommended this place. We went for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised. The place is nice and cozy and the staff is very nice. We were hoping to have some octopus and short ribs risotto as recommended but, unfortunately, they're only served during dinner. But after eating our lunch, we didn't really miss anything at all. The cabonara Benedict is soooo good and the yellowfin tuna sandwich is seasoned very well and not soggy. The peach mimosa is also great and they give you a big glass! This place is definitely a great find!

We've been coming to Key West for 4 straight years and this was the best dinner we've had by far! From appetizers to dinner, this was amazing. We recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Food was ok. Clams and shrimp came out cold. The only thing Mediterranean about this place is the name. Seating was weird. Benches are too high for the table. Would not recommend.

Although it seems this is a more popular place for brunch, we made reservations for dinner on NYE. We asked to be seated outside and the host was kind enough to find us a nice table. As with most restaurants on NYE, they had a prix fixe menu ($110 for amuse bouche, first course, second course and dessert). The selection for first and second course was very good. The amuse bouche was a bit disappointing, but we all enjoyed our first course (goat cheese over arugula, pear frisée salad and oysters). The rack of lamb was a very generous portion but the reduction could have benefited from a bit more flavor. Similarly, I would probably not recommend ordering the gnocchi dish. The yellow snapper was nicely presented and paired well with the shrimp and caper butter sauce. Overall, a lovely meal for NYE.

Our dinner at Azur was a great experience. Great Food, Great Service and a Great Experience. The restaurant is small and intimate, as well as a buzz of activity. We had the Gnocchi braised beef rib and it was heavenly, Seafood Risotto and delicious, and I had the yellowtail snapper and again a great treat. Its well worth the visit.

Absolutely fabulous. From the coffee to my food to the perfect service! Very well done. Wonderful menu of choices that were outstanding. Love this. We will be back.

Great brunch with friendly service. I got the carbonara Benedict and it was wonderful. My boyfriend got the burger and also enjoyed his meal, especially the skinny fries that come with it. My OJ wasn't fresh squeezed but it was still good. Would definitely return to try more things on their menu.

A late Sunday night dinner, Lucas (aka Lucifer LOL) was great, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the portions were plentiful. I would definitely give it a 5 star all around. Lucas if you read this, thanks for suggesting the octopus.

Rosteo was amazing and eggplant chips to die for!!!!!! Salads were great! Potato pancakes amazing! Service was fabulous and fun!

Perfect. Black grouper special was amazing. Strip steak with chimichurri was also delicious. The charred pulpo (octopus) was good as well. Drinks are wonderful and generous, and the blue cheese olives are hand-stuffed. Our server was quick and attentive, and everyone was very friendly. In addition, we were able to sit outside with our dog. As locals we are always trying to find pet-friendly dining options, and Azur is only a few blocks away. We will be back!

I go here each time I am in Key West. The Carbonara is to die for. The portions are good and everything is sooo tasty.

Very good restaurant, but nothing Keys-specific about it. Meal was very good, in line with other fine-dining restaurants. We wished there had been more unique dishes on the menu, especially with local flavor.

We have been here a few times but mostly for brunch which I highly recommend. The key lime French toast is amazing. We tried it recently for dinner and were not disappointed. We ordered the mussel appetizer and cauliflower side plus the tile fish as the entire. Overall, it was a lovely evening with great service.

We stayed at the Eden house which is their restaurant! It was a beautiful place with amazing food & customer service. We enjoyed our breakfast. Kind of a bummer we couldn't order room service due to Covid but totally understandable. This would be the best room service food ever! There menu had a little bit of something for everyone and honestly it was tough for me to make my decision! Can't wait until our next visit I will definitely be back!

Great start to our week in Key West! After driving down from Orlando, we stopped into Azur for brunch while waiting to check into our hotel. I had the crab cake benedict and my fiancé had the key lime french toast. Both were delicious and filling! Service was friendly and all employees were wearing masks. The tables were spaced apart at what I felt was a comfortable distance. We would definitely return again! Tip: Our hotel lobby had a coupon card for a free mimosa with purchase of an entree, so check around if you plan to visit.

Got the dentice salad and it was of the best salads I've ever had! Especially for the price. Service was great and really fast. Definitely excited to come back!

This place is great, at least for breakfast. It's pretty creative in the selection and the food tastes amazing. I've had multiple versions of the Benedict and none disappointed. Plus the portions aren't "tourist-sized" so you won't feel like you need to be rolled back to your house. And the location is off Duval enough you don't get the noise if you need a quieter meal. Their outdoor patio is covered (and shaded at that) so you can enjoy fresh air without sweating all over your food.

Our first visit to Azur for its Mediterranean cuisine. We didn't realize until we were seated that the restaurant only serves wine and beer. We start with Beef Carpaccio and then the Pear Frisee Salad. Both were highlights of our meal. For entrees we selected the Toasted Gnocchi and Beef Gnocchi. Having read several positive Yelp reviews, we were curious to try both Gnocchis. The Toasted Gnocchi with Pinenuts was fairly bland. Truffles were supposed to be included in the preparation, but we tasted none of that. The Beef was much richer and memorable. The Sesame Fried Cauliflower didn't appear to have any Sesame taste. For dessert, we go with the Apple Tart, which we found the ice cream to be overwhelmed with Cardamon spice. My wife noted the restrooms were messy and not very clean.

Well this was one for the books.. Waitress had 0 knowledge about any of the wines on the list, and then awkwardly couldn't remember the specials which is fine, it happens. However, after having a conversation about the 2 fish options on the menu we ordered the snapper......We were given the lamb entree. We both ate our entrees 20 mins apart because we had to wait for them to make the correct order. Which is still fine, mistakes can happen. When the right entree arrived the waitress finally came over apologized and said she would take care of it, I guess that means one glass of wine. We were presented the check and charged for the lamb (more expensive). When we realized we came back to the restaurant to ask for the itemized receipt and the waitress scrambled by the computer for a long time. She gave us a completely different check !! The bill was a different than what we were charged. (Interesting how the gratuity was the same that we wrote for the more expensive bill). Instead of just saying she made a mistake she was very rude and basically lying that the check wasn't different before. When we said that it clearly didn't make any sense and said it was sketchy to change receipts after already being charged and closing a check she got very aggressive telling us to leave and we just wanted to pay for what we had. It was so unbelievably uncomfortable how unstable the lady was. We were calmly telling her we just want to pay for what we had. She flipped out and said she voided the entire check and to get out. We asked to please let us just pay for what we have we don't want to void the whole check. She yelled at us to get out of the restaurant and enjoy the "free meal" The server is clearly not well because you could tell the other server/bartender saw what was going on and was very apologetic and felt very uncomfortable. You can tell he was also shocked by her behavior ..Talk about awkward. She stormed into the kitchen instead of acting professional enough to talk calmly and figure out the situation. As people who are visiting we came for my birthday and to have a nice special occasion this will be a night to remember and not in the right way.

Nobody greeted us when we walked in. We just stood there awkwardly (all 9 of us) got a few looks from servers like we were in their way. Finally someone pointed at a table we were to sit at. The booth seats were higher than the chairs across - so half of our group was 4 inches taller than the rest. The servers need training- to be charging the prices they're charging- servers need to be managed much better. The price you pay and the service you get do not match up.

We had a great breakfast here when we stayed at Eden House- if you do that be sure to let them know you are hotel guests for a discount! I'm case you missed it? The key lime pie French toast actually comes with two slices of pie interspersed between the slices of French toast! I had the spinach feta frittata- it was simple and delicious- just want I wanted!

We stayed at the Eden House and decided to try Azur. Service was amazing. Jayson and Nick took great care of us. My husband is allergic to seafood which makes it difficult to find an upscale place that offers land options. He had the rubbed pork tenderloin with veal reduction. It was cooked perfectly. Very tender. Flavor was perfect. I had the special black grouper. Super fresh and flaky! The roasted potatoes were UH-Mazing! I highly recommend Azur.

The place is horrible, the guy name Lukas was rude and had a nasty attitude. I don't understand how these people can run a business like that food was terrible and the restaurant is so dirty I couldn't even eat. after we left the restaurant we smell like a fish.

All the food was very good, as was my martini with blue cheese olives. The octopus was good but definitely overpriced, probably wouldn't order it again. The restaurant is in a residential area and it's noticeably less touristy (which, was great for me!). Seemed like a place locals go.
