Azure Hot Pot

A great spot for hot pot! The soup bases are authentic, flavorful, and overall delicious. All the meat, seafood, and veggies are exceptional quality. The menu is very easy to read. You have to get the jasmine green tea soft serve ice cream! We will definitely be back!!

Delicious Mala & Yen Tao Foo soup, tasty, nicely spiced & just really good. Really enjoyed the sauce, especially the seafood sauce. Nice esan sausage too. Fresh prawn & beef slices/belly. Will come back again!

Absolutely loved this place! The Tom Yum broth was rich, spicy, and full of authentic Thai flavor. Super fresh ingredients and generous portions. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was cozy but lively. Definitely one of the best hot pot spots I’ve tried — can’t wait to come back!

Azure is an amazing find! Great food, amazing service in a cute restaurant. We had the Tom Yum and Miso broths and both were so flavorful. The three dipping sauces were all distinct and delicious. Sadly, we only got pictures of dessert because we ate everything so fast. I can not recommend Azure Hot Pot enough!

This place has a very nice and bright indoor area - love the wall art! For the soup base we got miso and tom yum - they are absolutely delicious. It’s all you can eat for a really good price and the food is super fresh!

Azure Hot Pot delivers on variety, quality, and experience. The broth options are legit — rich flavors, not watered down. The meat was fresh and sliced thin, and the seafood didn’t smell like it sat out too long. Tons of dipping sauces and toppings to build it your way. The all-you-can-eat setup gives you room to experiment without overthinking it. What I liked: – Clean, modern space (you won’t leave smelling like steam). – Service was fast and efficient — staff stayed on top of refills. – Great mix of proteins, veggies, and sides — not just filler. What needs work: – Some of the appetizers felt like an afterthought (the fried stuff gets cold fast). – Ordering system could be more intuitive for first-timers. -vents Bottom line: Azure is a strong contender if you’re craving hot pot with options and a clean vibe. Go hungry, pace yourself, and don’t skip the sauce bar.

I really love the Thai Yen Ta Fo soup it’s delicious and tastes just like it does in Thailand. I hope everyone who comes here gets a chance to try it. And the seafood is very fresh!

We had a great experience here! First, the service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious, especially the meat. The all you can eat price ($39 per person) is reasonable given that it includes sides and ice cream!

The best of Suki and Shabu. All types of soup are delicious. Meat and seafood are carefully selected. Fresh vegetables are available in a variety. Ice cream is made from fresh ingredients. There are also drinks, beer and wine available. The place can accommodate large parties. I think it is worth the money spent.

came here on the 22nd and least to say parking was terrible to find, i'd say come early to find a spot but this night didn't seem busy just yet so we got a table pretty quick. the menu was kinda of confusing because they said there was 24 unlimited items available but i only counted 15-18. I asked the waiter if the picture of the veggies could be ordered and he said yes, there wasn't much side dishes that you could order and the homemade meatballs were out. wish they could revise the menu to make it more clear. the soup base was good and the meat was great quality as well as the sauces, they didn't explain what were the sauces and my girlfriend did not like spicy and found out the hard way which one was, don't get me wrong they were delicious but werent given much. the cheesy garlic noodle was terrible, it tasted hard and sprinkled with kraft parmesean cheese and texture was like it was microwaved or left out. the beef fat fried rice was real good and they gave us plenty of orders of it and an extra tray of meat when they were busy and when their fuse blew out and everyones burner turned off, multiple times lol nothing too bad, good service actually. the only time we got bad service though was when we tried to pay and he gave me a check and told us to pay up front and walked away when we were trying to split it, that was kinda rude. overall this place is great and has potential but they need more workers cause it seemed to be the owner or chef and one server scrambling to keep up. the place itself was hip but was pretty steamy inside without ventilation, they opened the front door to air it out when we asked though. food was awesome, i'd say check back in a few months to let them work out some kinks!

===TL;DR=== - AYCE MEAT only (from my experience) - Tom yum and Mala spicy soup - Street parking ===TMI=== The moment you walk in, you're immediately greeted with their primary color space. Couldn't tell if they're not popping off yet or it's cause we came on a Sunday evening. The server was very sweet and nice. Good meat quality, on the thinner side. Broth used were also tasty. The server was very attentive whenever our meat was running low. Didn't notice there was a time limit so that's always a plus for those with bigger appetites. Don't let the thin slices fool you cause before you know it, your belly gets filled to the brim! The highlight was their sauces! Personally the Thai one was my favorite so don't be shy to ask for a refill when you're running low! Although they were AYCE, we're not sure why we got charged for extra udons.. -shrug-. The menu state "All Hotpot We serve with Vegatables and Noodle" but they also have an add on vegetable menu so I'm assuming you don't get free refills... and ONLY the meats were AYCE. Right when you thought your battle is coming to an end, they remind you that there are still soft serves to end the meal! Yes, soft serves, not ice cream. Thai tea and vanilla. They don't have an elaborate menu but have all the shabu staples. Give them a go if you're a shabu fan!

Beef fried is tasty, I can taste the beef fat flavor with the crunch rice. Food is really fresh, fast service, friendly staff :) My hungry got satisfied

We really liked the Tom Yum and the sukiyaki soup base. The soups are very flavorful compared to other hot pot places around the area. You will want the soup base to have strong flavor so your food will soak it up, and you depend less on the sauces. That being said, their premade Thai seafood spicy dipping sauce is really good, and adds an extra kick. All the meat and vegetables were fresh, and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. You can also order individual vegetables instead of the mixed vegetables, in case you don't like some of the vegetables that come with the mix. They also have Thai iced tea soft serve that you can get yourself. Overall, it was a good experience. The service was prompt, and everything tasted wonderful. We will be back!

NO waitlist! Quick serve~ It's so delicious that I can't stop eating. Very satisfied. The quality of the meat is excellent, must have used premium grade. The dishes were served very quickly after ordering, and the service was great.

This hotpot is a little more Thai style which I've never had nor seen before. I got miso and sukiyaki because I'm used to Chinese or Japanese style; both broths were very yummy. Normally miso just tastes plain, but the broths, the pre-made dipping sauces, and all of the food tasted very fresh and well-seasoned! Server was very nice. Open, causal vibe. Overall great experience. If you can't handle spicy, one sauce is non-spicy. Really delish if you can handle spiciness. Also this spot is different in that they don't have children under _ y/o as free.

The meat is delicious. It's quite rare that all kinds of meat taste so good. The price is a bit high, but I think it's worth it.

Fresh updates to the space, nice staff, relaxed environment. Great for groups of 4-8 people.

Decided to check this place out when we stumbled upon an article that stated they were opening. The decor is super cute and very vibrant. We got the tom yum broth and the spicy and both were good. For the AYCE option, you get meat, veggies and udon. Service was quick and attentive. The price is a bit steep for just meat, veggies and udon when other places are serving the same along with seafood and appetizers for a much better price. They also charge for rice. My favorite part was definitely the soft serve at the end.

My shirt smells like hotpot and I like it. The broths were flavorful and try the beef chuck, it's really good. The staff was good too, okay bye

Great service and meat quality! The portions are fair and the broths (especially sukiyaki) were perfect. The soft-serve ice creams are a must try!

Good quality meats. No fish. My main complaint is the lack of a sauces bar. Instead you get a small tray with three sections of a small amount of their mild, medium, and spicy sauces. It's such a small amount I had to keep asking for another tray after the sauces got diluted (I love to slather my meats with sauce). Hot pot sauce is very important to me. I'll stick to Mumu in Emeryville and loading my custom sauce with garlic.

I was delighted by the flavors, AYCE selection, and service. The Mala and Tom Yum soup bases were delicious and hearty. The meat, veggies, and noodles came quickly and were eaten just as quickly! The workers were wonderful and did a great job explaining the menu and options. It was a great time and I would love to come back. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean, with lots of seating available-- so bring your friends! Overall, I would recommend you check this restaurant out. I have been waiting for a nice hot pot place to come to Berkeley and this place is just that.

This restaurant is really good! I really enjoy eating here, first the food quality is wonderful! Especially the beef is so tender and fresh. Plus the meet ball also super delicious! The service here is fantastic as well! Overall I give it here a 5 stars! It's really worthy to try!
