B-29 Doc Hangar, Education & Visitors Center

One of the most impactful museums in the country related to Aviation and military. Showcasing the extraordinary might of the United States production powerhouse in the 1940s that made the creation of so many complicated and enormous for the time aircraft. The incredibly beautiful restoration of Doc itself is a sight to behold. The phenomenal volunteers and donors behind the movement who value history and this war changing aircraft are the heart of America. There are only two functional B-29 aircraft left in the world, the people of this museum fight against difficult odds to keep Doc in the air and work diligently so generations may continue to see history in real life.

This was an amazing place...only downside was limited hours but knowing that we'll just have to be there the moment they open next time. Tours with volunteers that have helped keep this amazing plane in service and serving as a flying museum! If you love aviation and WW2...hit this place up.

I very much enjoyed visiting Doc. The volunteers had a lot of information and when they didn’t know an answer they went and hunted down someone who did. Getting into cockpit was great. The hanger does get humid and warm during summer so keep that in mind when visiting. The memorabilia is a little on the expensive side but I really do enjoy their shirts.

Taking the flight on their amazingly well taken care of b29 is an amazing experience ill never forget the crew is very nice and knowledgeable and the experience is well worth more than what they charge! Would highly recommend to any aviation or ww2 history enjoyers!!! (I recommend the master gunner seat for the best views)

Amazing! My kids 8 & 11 loved it! Make sure to buy the cockpit tour as well! There's an entire museum upstairs to enjoy, also!

An absolute experience of a lifetime. Everyone involved with DOC shows such passion and enthusiasm into bringing history to life. The flight crew and ground crew run a truly professional operation, with safety as their primary focus. The world would be a better place if we could all experience a flight on such an incredible aircraft. Look forward to seeing Doc grace the skies over Canada one day perhaps :)

We came here for a wedding this past Saturday. I have been telling every person I come across about how this was the best wedding I have ever been to. The location is conveniently located by the airport and airport hotels. Upon walking in we were greeted by a very cool dining card wall, coat check, and some history about the building. As soon as we turned the corner we saw the huge B29 sitting in all of its glory in the middle of the space. It was epic. The open bar was located right in front of the nose of the plane. I want to give a shout out to the bar manager and staff. They worked so hard non stop and did an amazing job. While getting drinks several servers came around with delicious appetizers. Guests could also get in line to go inside the B29 for a tour. After cocktail hour the bride and groom flew into the reception right outside the hangar door! The staff then served us a delicious three course meal starting with Caesar salad, steak and chicken with vegetables and potatoes, and of course wedding cake. After dinner we went upstairs to see the B29 museum which offered views of the entire venue. The nine piece band entertained the guests until 11pm. This was hands down the most fun and unique wedding I have ever been to!

Amazing education and visitor center dedicated to B 29 "Doc". Well worth the $10 admission fee and the extra five dollars to tour the flight deck. Definitely will come back at a later date.
