Yes since 1913 personally I have been tasting the cakes for 40 yrs now. Brilliant mawa cakes and major people are still fan of it. I am one of them. The cake leaves an after taste . I remember in Covid standing in the queue for same. Unbelievable yes it was it is. The quality of the cake and khari biscuit are still same. The feel of the place is like a Bollywood movie place. The bun Maska pav the omelette pav the Kadak pav are delicacies unforgettable. If you are a Parsi food fan this place cannot be missed

One of the best quick snack joints. Absolutely famous in grant road east. Very near to the station. Omlette ,bum maska ,kadak maska , Mawa cake ( authentic and simply superb), tea ,khari . Everything. Previously they used to serve sarbats too. Now only the above items are served and its Self service now. B merwans is simply rocking. I am visiting this place almost 29-30 years now.Thanks

B. Merwan & Co., just outside Grant Road station, is a 103-year-old family-run bakery known for its delicious food. The staff is friendly, and the prices are incredibly affordable—I spent just Rs. 120 for Akuri, bread, and a cup of coffee, which is only £1.20! They’re also famous for their Bun Maska and Mawa Cake. It doesn’t get better than that! I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the neighborhood.

I'm a regulate customer in this shop. But I'm highly disappointed by their service. I visited this shop last time at around 8.00 p.m and ordered 2 veg puffs parcel. This healthy girl at the shop (salesperson) gave me this puff. I opened it at home and felt so embarassed to give it to my mom. Later I visited the shop again and told her that she should have not given such puff to her customer. Instead of apologising she simply smiled. The shop inspite being my favourites I hate their service.

This place gives you old Mumbai feels. The food is good and the buns and breads are fresh and soft.

A rather busy coffee tea shop selling breads and pastries. The order was swift, although the queue was long, but it moved fast. Tables are full, and sharing one with another patrons is acceptable here. I had tea and a cake (i was told that it is a must try) Payment at the counter first before you make your way to collect the food and drink. Tastes are just fine, but the atmosphere in this old establishment is good and nostalgic.

Red flag - 1. no online payment options only cash 2. They gave bill for items worth only 320₹ when bill was 700₹+ Pudding was decent Drinks were decent. Loved ginger drink and kids loved ice cream soda Custard - Bad, felt like egg Mawa cake - Bad , very dense and bad overall

Quality of the Mawa cake is changed and over priced it only looks same but taste has changed ... Plus they stopped taking customers inside they keep customers waiting outside the bakery pretty disappointed... I would recommend switch to some other bakery
