Noah at the front desk absolutely made our stay! From the moment we arrived, his friendly demeanor and willingness to help stood out. He efficiently handled our check-in, answered all our questions about local attractions, and even offered some great restaurant recommendations. What impressed me most was his genuine care for the guests; he always went the extra mile to ensure everyone felt welcome and comfortable. It's rare to encounter such outstanding customer service, and Noah's positive attitude truly enhanced our experience. He's a real asset to the hotel!

I would have liked to given the resort more than two starts but the room was disappointing. The ac didn’t work the room never got below 70 degrees not even at night when the temperatures were cooler outside. It was lacking furniture. No small table and chairs to sit at, no microwave which made it very inconvenient to carry food to the main lobby to warm up for a couple minutes. Windows were dirty which made it undesirable to look out of or try to take pictures from. Bathroom has Been updated, but you can tell the rest of the room is very old and the carpet was filthy. Pillowcases were stained, the sheets clearly were not washed or dried with fabric softener which made them very stiff. The restaurant food was not worth the prices. The location and access to the beach was great! Despite housekeeping, not being very friendly and welcoming, the majority of the staff was. All the outside beach workers were nice and welcoming. Bradley one of the beach chair stand workers was not only nice and welcoming, he was also very patient and kind answering all our questions we had about the resort. I can’t say this would necessarily be my first choice of a place to stay at again. I hope the owner reads the reviews that all their guest have left and takes them seriously enough to make the updates and changes that the resort needs.

B-Ocean Resort Fort Lauderdale Beach||||I would never recommend anyone to stay at this resort unless you're on a cheap budget. B-Ocean is the IHOP of resorts. Do not choose this resort if you're amenable to other options.||The phone in my room didn't work. On Sunday morning 5/25/2025, I woke up to someone smoking weed. It stank up my room. A fight broke out on the floor I stayed on. The windows are incredibly dirty. To enter the building at night you may have to get through a swarm of moths and other flying insects. The shower didn't have a door. The carpet was dirty. The swimming pool was the smallest I've ever seen at a resort. The breakfast food in their so-called restaurant was HORRIBLE. Omg I should have taken a pic of it. I had to send that mess back. They offered me other choices but I said NOPE. I don't want it.||They did not charge me for it. Water was dripping from the vent everyday that I was there. The room was decent enough to sleep in. Carpet was filthy so you gotta keep shoes on your feet. I didn't feel safe. The phone in the room I stayed in did not work. I had to rely on my mobile phone. Just don’t stay here if you’re in Ft. Lauderdale.

I’m honestly very confused as to why this isn’t at least a 4/5 star hotel. I absolutely LOVED everything. Check-in was probably the fastest I’ve ever had at any hotel, our room was clean, spacious, and there was daily room cleaning services. The staff all around was helpful, professional, and pleasant to speak with. The location was a prime spot on Ft. Lauderdale Beach. We came for the Panthers Parade weekend and this was perfect walking distance to the parade. As well as a reasonable price for a hotel during a busy weekend. I would definitely come back to this hotel. The reviews initially had me a little concerned that it was going to be subpar. It exceeded my expectations. 10/10. Thank you B Ocean!!

Google
It's hard to get service once you're in, but the staff are mostly helpful. The place is a little older and the rooms are kinda small, but the ocean and pools are very easy to get to. The prices for coffee and food are high (but that's normal for a resort) We had a really relaxing week over all, and for the price, you can't beat it.

First time here. I’ll start off by saying that we did have a nice stay at the B Ocean resort. We were upgraded, for a fee, from intercostal view to ocean front with a balcony. That was great. |We arrived at the front desk at 10:50am. Check in isn’t until 4pm but we were told that we would have the first room available once guests were all checked out at 11am. We thought that was great so rather than heading to the beach, we have valet store our luggage while we grabbed some lunch. We checked back at noon and were told that they were cleaning the room and it would be about 20 minutes. We played this game until 3:45 when we were given our room keys. Had they been honest up front, it wouldn’t have been a big deal because we would have taken my son to the pool/ beach for the day rather than sitting in the lobby waiting. ||The room was decent. Ice machines on even numbered floors. Your room will get cleaned late in the day due to them cleaning those checking out first. Only got washcloths and cups by request. Beach was nice. They put chairs out for you but if you want an umbrella it’s an additional 30 some dollars. The beach bar was only open on the weekend and closed during the week, they said they open if it’s busy. Seemed busy but I don’t know. Workers brings brinks and food to the beach if you’d like. There also a pool bar where you can order food and drinks. There is a second pool which wasn’t as crowded with no pool bar. There are places to walk for lunch, shopping, etc. Ride Circuit is a free electric car type transportation- it’s free, they work off of tips.

I’ve been coming to the B Ocean resort for almost two years and I love it here. The hotel staff is very nice and are always helpful. The sushi at the little bar is one of the best I’ve had. The pool area I love so much because it feel like I’m in Cancun without leaving the states, you are a short walk to the beach. I had made a mistake with the reservation this trip and as soon as i asked for help the hotel manager Peter stopped what he was doing and helped me with the room and was super helpful. I have been to a lot of hotels and resorts as I travel a lot but this one is A+ I recommend it 100% and can’t forget the super nice and attentive bartender Sabina

I stayed at B Ocean Resort this past Wednesday for my birthday, and the experience was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff and the manager made me feel genuinely welcomed. Their professionalism and warm hospitality set the tone for a great stay. A special thank you to Esmeralda at the bar for her outstanding service. Her attentiveness, kindness, and positive attitude made a real difference and helped make my birthday feel even more special. The room was spotless, the views were stunning, and the overall atmosphere of the resort was exactly what I was looking for relaxing, clean, and well managed. I highly recommend B Ocean Resort for anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable beachfront stay, especially if you're celebrating a special occasion.

Yelp
We booked this for two nights before our cruise and one night after. When we checked in on the 13th, the first room didn't have a working A/C. We had to call the front desk twice before someone was finally sent up. We were then informed that the A/C didn't work, but that the hotel was full so they weren't sure what could be done. About an hour later, we managed to get a room with A/C. Our breaks at the Naked Crab was okay, and service was very slow. The pool was nice enough. We have now returned for our post cruise stay. Since about 9:45 PM, the people next door have been yelling, I suspect on the phone. We've called the front desk twice. It is now 10:45 PM, and I can still hear her yelling. Whether we were checking in or checking out, the front desk seems to be on burnout mode. The hotel is busy, and we have wondered if some get a room here to use the private beach. If we sail out of Fort Lauderdale again, we'll probably be staying somewhere else which is a shame, because it's a pricey place. I would have expected a little more for the price point.

Michael G.

Yelp
I've stayed at the B Ocean several times for work and I'm definitely a fan of some things and not so much a fan of others. I like the location as you are on the beach and there's some cool pools to utilize as well. The pool by the beach has a super cool vibe and always feels like a pool party. The hotel itself has a very beachy modern vibe and is decorated well. What I don't like is that it seems like the walls are built of paper because 9 times out of 10 I hear children running around, being loud or crying. As someone who is not a fan of children, this is an important negative for me.

Yelp
We unfortunately stayed in this DUMP for a week (which was a week too long) and regretted every minute *EXCEPT* the STELLAR underwater mermaid show in their "Wreck Bar"! DO NOT STAY HERE, instead just come for the MeduSirena mermaid shows and leave to stay somewhere else after! The rooms are disgustingly dirty and outdated. The staff is extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. Motel 6 looks like the Ritz compared to this dirty dump. The most horrible hotel stay of our lives. AT ALL COSTS...STAY AWAY!!!

Yelp
3 star hotel, somehow with a 4 star rating, that charges like it's a 5 star. Staff is not accommodating, or helpful, and the midnight staff makes promises that the day staff won't keep. They nickle & dime.you for EVERYTHING! $10 for a beer, $5 for a can of soda, $25 for an umbrella, $175 for a cabana, $55/day for parking, and $43/day 'resort fee' which includes NOTHING I mentioned above. Maid stole food from.us, we reported it, and they did nothing. I do not recommend this place. The rooms are dirty, dusty, hand prints on the windows and the grout in the bathroom is disgusting. Plus the water pressure is awful in the shower. Do yourself a favor and pass on this place.

Yelp
One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at! First, it was filthy. The sink didn't drain, the bottom sheet had blood stains on it, the carpets, baseboards, doors.... everything was gross. The refrigerator did not work and smelled, and our phone did not work until we complained. They were fixed the next day. The maid turned the bloody sheet over and didn't replace it with a clean one, even after I asked. It was finally removed 4 days later. None of the ice machines worked. I complained twice to the front desk, asking for a manager the second time. I was told a manager would call me and never did. I went back to the front desk a third time and waited for the manager. When the manager finally came out, he told me everything was fixed and go up to my room with a condescending smile. I never received an apology. The power went out twice. The second time it went out was around 9:30 pm. We checked out the following day at 11:00 am and the power was still out. Hot as heck! Apart from one other hotel, B Ocean Resort was the only hotel without power. I believe they have no generators like the other surrounding hotels. Worst customer service ever! Please do not stay at this hotel if you want to enjoy yourself!

Yelp
Just poorly maintained hotel very dirty in many spots especially facing the beach front

Yelp
We had to come here after our flight was delayed and then cancelled late at night. So we got here after midnight and we were all tired from spending the whole day at the airport. It took quite some time to check in, so we didn't get into our room until 1am. The shower only has half the outside covered with glass so the other half sprayed water out onto the floor from the shower. Then, after we get ready for the night, we discovered that the toilet made loud noises after flushing, we couldn't sleep with that noise. A technician had come in and fix it. It was finally all fixed at 2am, when we are very tired and just want to sleep. As a result of that, we wanted a late check out so we can get more sleep. We go to the lobby to get some brunch (not included in room fees, even the resort had additional fees, a small bottle of apple juice was $5 and it's not close to the grocery store). And when we come back, we find out our room was locked even though it was before the late checkout time. That meant another trip to front desk (with two elevators and a bridge) and more time lost that could have been spent packing. We didn't get to enjoy the beach or pool because we had to be back at the airport soon to go home.

Kayla C.

Yelp
Hooorrrrrrible. I gave a whole ONE star because the bed was comfortable after a long flight, but this is a rough hotel. Our room was overlooking a pool in the middle of the hotel. Our room smelled so musty and mildew-y. It was gross. Felt like mold. We had actually booked this hotel on the front end, and the back end of a cruise. We were dreading returning after the cruise for another 2 nights. I would not recommend this hotel, unless you're absolutely desperate.

Ray W.

Yelp
From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff greeted me and was able to accommodate me and my spouse with an excellent, clean, spacious room. I was quickly able to get to our room and settle in and then go to the pool and enjoy the outdoors. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay very enjoyable. I definitely will return again.

Edward J.

Yelp
This is our 4th visit. TERRI BLE. Freaking mermaids weren't allowed to use the best family pool5 Times in 4 days one of them yelled at the guests saying the pool's closed. Paid a $1000 4 days to be restricted! And it's hot can't swim. Drinks are good but VERY EXPENSIVE. OVERALL I WOULD STAY AWAY.This is our last stay at this property.

Brooke T.

Yelp
Roaches in our room. No ice bucket. Rude staff. Waiting for an elevator which happens to take too long, staff just walks up and just by passes us to get in elevator with huge rolling garbage cans. Great location and reasonable price but I can't deal with the roaches. Disgusting.

Russell J.

Yelp
We had a great stay at the B Ocean. It's a great mid-range hotel right on the beach. Check-in was easy. Room was clean and well appointed. I do wish there was a little more furniture in the room (like an additional chair or a desk). Other than that, we had no issues!

Christina F.

Yelp
One of the only Fort Lauderdale Beach hotels situated directly on the beach. It's all about the location! I stayed in a chic room, which was a bit musty and could use a little updating, but it was clean and comfortable. I'd love to see what the balcony rooms look like, to compare. The rest of the hotel was nicely decorated. There are plenty of food and beverage options, but be prepared to pay a higher price, again due to location. Go to the mermaid show if you are staying there, even as a local I'd recommend it to everyone. There are 2 pools, one is pretty hidden and not much going on, but the one near the beach is a party. Make sure to get there early or you won't get a chair! There's also a semi private beach area where you can get beach chairs with your towel card, along with food and beverage service. This made for a great staycay, and is definitely a nice spot for a getaway. Be advised there is a $39 per night resort fee and parking is $47 nightly. It helps to know before you go, no surprises.

Kelly B.

Yelp
The place was clean. It seemed new. The staff was friendly. The pool was nice. Your beach front. A couple restaurants on the property which is nice. A gym. The one thing that really got me is our room temperature. It was cold and rainy out and I was freezing. Our air was stuck at 62 degrees which is very cold for me. I live in Phoenix and keep my air at 80 in the summer and heat at 75 in the winter. I called the front desk and told them the heat seemed to be broke. They informed me I was unable to change the temperature in the room. It was stuck at 62 for the whole building. So they sent a teeny tiny space heater. The size was laughable. I had to call and ask for blankets and they gave us 1. There were 3 of us and 2 beds. The guy told me they ran out of blankets. I froze. It sucked.

Melinda E.

Yelp
I stayed here for one night before I went on a cruise and the customer service was outstanding! The room was outdated but cozy and the bar was very lively over the weekend . The burger we ordered was good & the drink was good as well( Long Island) . The location is great because it's a quick walk to the beach.

Thomas E.

Yelp
Extremely mediocre hotel. Nothing is terrible but there's just enough things to be annoying and not my ideal place to stay. I got here extremely early from a red eye flight at 6 am. Checked in and requested the first available room I could get into. They told me cleaning staff didn't arrive until 9 and check out was 11 so it could be a while which I completely understand. I ended up waiting til about 1:30 pm before I got a room. The frustrating part was that many people were checking in before me so I knew rooms were becoming ready and they continued to tell me I was first in line for the next room, though people waiting in the lobby were still getting rooms before me. Eventually they offered to clean a room next so we could check in and we got in about 30 minutes after that. Staff was friendly and helpful, and I understood normal check in wasn't until 4, but it did seem like I was getting skipped over again and again. The way the property is arranged is very annoying. There's multiple separate buildings that are decent walks between. In order to get to our room, we had to go up one elevator, cross a sky bridge, then take another elevator. So while there is beach access, it's still a 10 minute journey to get there from the back property. The room was decent, clean. Bed was comfortable. There were some annoyances though. The shower had almost no water pressure, not near enough to get any leftover sand off. The shower is only half enclosed with glass which makes it drafty and water splashes everywhere. The door to the bathroom itself is just a glass door that doesn't really close, latch, or lock. The sink was completely clogged, running the faucet for 1 second took 10 seconds to drain. Made it gross to brush my teeth or shave. I happened to notice that the air vent filter was not fitted properly, another weird thing to have. The power outlets did not have the tension springs in them or were extremely worn down where no power adapter would actually stay plugged in. There's no light switch to turn on power to the main room so you've gotta stumble in past the entryway and find a lamp. While this place has the appearance of being pretty nice, I find these gripes to all add up to annoying me too much to want to stay here again. I probably wouldn't recommend or stay here again. Though price wise this ended up being cheaper than the other places along the beach. You get what you pay for I guess.

Daniel Y.

Yelp
Location, location location. Thie resort is dated but it's on the beach. So it is kind of dated especially in the rooms and bathrooms. But it's not cheap to stay here and $50 a night to park and tipping the valets every time you want to run out. They have onsite restaurant and bar as well as a coffee and snack counter. Again you can't beat the location, right on the beach!

Ruth B.

Yelp
Stayed here to attend Riptide Fest. Location was great for fest. There are three separate buildings. The main one that looks like a ship, another with pool slider to the ocean and then one across the street accessible via skywalk or from the street (we stayed here). No facilities at building across the street. Restaurant and bar at main ship shaped building and the beach side has pool with bar restaurant. At two breakfasts and dinner at main building. Waiter service is subpar. Asked for a slice of tomato from one waiter and he said it had to come from my waiter- who was mia- which is why I asked this other guy- but why??? He should have brought me a tomato slice. One waiter was superb nice- John- we had him for our first breakfast and he was on top of things(John gets five stars). Dinner was good- cooks thankfully know what they are doing. Dinner waiter took approx 10-15 minutes to bring ice tea and glass of wine. The restaurant was nearly empty- not ok. We asked for towels and had to call down twice before housekeeping brought them up- who then proceeded to knock on door numerous times-not ok. Shower doesn't have a door that closes so water went everywhere when showering- we were in room 1084- GREAT BEACH VIEWS!!! So overall, the place is ok- too spread out- maybe staying in main building or beach building would be better. Wait staff needs training. Danny our bellhop was great- I needed my phone charger and he brought it up to me from my car(he gets five stars). Valet service $50 per day not cheap.

Yelp
We were here for the Mermaids & Mimosas show a couple of weeks ago and got a chance to explore the B Ocean hotel a little. We did not stay here overnight because we are locals. It looks like a very nice hotel that has been recently renovated. It's nicely decorated and has a big pool that has mermaids in it performing in the evenings! The show was a lot of fun and the food at the Wreck Bar was delicious! The bartender is friendly and a lot of fun! If you are looking for a fun evening out, then this would be a very good choice. The B Ocean hotel looks like a very good place to stay with reasonable prices.

Landy G.

Yelp
We came here 2 times recently within the last month to spend the weekend. Love staying here. Room prices are good. The beach is right behind it. 2 pools to choose from. On my last visit they brought us a complimentary bottle of wine with some cheeses. We ran out of water sometime around midnight and made a call to the front desk and they brought us 2 bottle to the room for free. We absolutely love the sushi they sell in the lobby area. One thing I don't like is the parking. They only offer valet at the garage across the street and it's $50 even if your staying at the hotel. Also expect an extra $45 charge for a resort fee. Overall love this place and I enjoy the time I've spend here. Definitely looking forward to going back.

Michael A.

Yelp
We spent the day here with a Resortpass day room. What a great end to our vacation. Everyone on the staff that we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. They have two pools and a nice beach, a couple of bars, a couple of restaurants, and a quick serve counter for snacks and drinks. All in all, a great hotel.

Shannon S.

Yelp
Terrible service. no hands soap or hangers when we checked in, had to call the front desk every day several times just to get towels, water and coffee. Dirty, unkept & in dire need of some TLC. The guests across the hall kept us awake every single night with their loud music, yelling, and screaming.

Cassandra S.

Yelp
Went here on a baecation. Pros: Right on the beach ( no need to cross the street),Clean, Upgrade option upon arrival( we paid an extra $50 per night for ocean front), friendly and efficient employees, Keurig coffee maker in room, 2 bottles of water per day. Walkable to restaurants and bars. Quick maintenance should you need it. Our drain was clogged and they came right away. 2 beach chairs each day included. Cons: You will feel nickled and dimed. Expensive parking and the garage is across the street. Bringing your own food to the beach is frowned upon. Many people did it( including us) but there were signs for no outside food or drinks. The beach umbrellas are NOT included with your stay and will run you $26 per day!!!! A 18% gratuity is added onto everything!!! Regardless as to if you are just ordering one drink from the bar, which will be $15-$17 per drink. The pool is to warm in the afternoon. Not sure if it's heated but it's not pleasurable or refreshing. We didn't try the on site restaurants because they were pricey and didn't seem to have a lively atmosphere. We chose to eat other places. The hotel is not close to any grocery stores. You'd have to Uber.

Lauren H.

Yelp
This review is strictly for the Mermaid Burlesque show. The hotel is just ok. The mermaids were brilliant! I was there the week of the FT Lauderdale boat show and had a free night. I grabbed a bunch of girlfriends and we decided to go to the mermaid burlesque. The first seating is at 8pm and cost $65 per person. I was a little thrown off by the price but I didn't read that it includes a $35 food/beverage credit. That's also per person. The show was amazing. The mermaids are so elegant and beautiful. We caught a Halloween show with a spooky flair. The mermaids were great. The food was just ok, and the service was slow. But the show was highly entertaining.

Emanuel W.

Yelp
Loved the view of the ocean from my room! Everything from the decor, to the amenities and customer service was amazing! It was highly recommended by my Aunt and it was so worth it. Also like the fact that there was a DJ and easy access to the beach during the day. My only regret is that I couldn't stay at the hotel longer.

Gina C.

Yelp
My friend booked this hotel as we were looking for a hotel on the beach & this place didn't disappoint. It's right on the beach. You have access to their pool & right past the pool is their beach area. The pool has pool towels you can grab with a pool towel key that the front desk gives you. My friend had gotten it when she checked us in & was told she would be charged like $25 or something crazy if she didn't return it. The pool towel guys won't give you a towel for the beach there is a seperate stand for beach towels. I headed right to the beach after checking in. We were only there for one night. My friend wanted to take a nap in the room, not me. I wanted sun, warmth & the ocean water!! I didn't even think to bring any cash to tip the young man who brought me to a beach chair. Sorry :-( wasn't trying to be cheap. I didn't know. I had a nice little area with no one bothering me. I went into the ocean but only about ankle deep as the waves were a little rough. The water was cold at first but then after a couple minutes it felt amazing. I then headed back to my chair & laid down. I actually ended up falling asleep & taking a little nap. My friend joined me a little later & we actually headed to the pool. Their pool is an infinity pool at one end. Water was a little cold & they lose the sun due to the tall building next door. I had gone up to the bar to get us a drink. One bartender & I hate to say he wasn't that great. He seemed overwhelmed & wasn't very fast. Wasn't very many people at the bar, maybe 2 couples?? Maybe he's new?? Not sure but we did get a fancy drink which was pricey. Can't remember the name? Some type of mojito. He was nice enough to point out that gratuity was already added onto the bill which was nice because where I come from (Vegas) they don't do that for 2 people on one bill. The beach will allow you lounge chairs, umbrellas & big lounge chair free of charge. There is a little bar on the beach that I took advantage of the next day when we hung out on the beach. Our friend who lives about 30 mins from the hotel came to join us without any problems. Stephanie was the BOMB inside this "Salty Siren" bar hut. She was quick & knew her shit unlike the guy up at the pool bar the day before. She was super friendly & so nice! She did point out that gratuity was already added on to my bill when I cashed out. Her pina coladas were yummy. My friend's & I spent our last day on the beach. I was a little bothered by the waitress on the beach going around to all the people around us asking them if they wanted something to drink or eat but never once came over to us....like WTH?? We were hungry so I finally asked her if we could get some menus. Once she came over to wait on us she was very nice but man she's got to check on everyone on the beach. She'd make more money if she did. We all got buffalo chicken wraps with fries that weren't too bad. Guess they came from "Naked Crab" restaurant inside? Thats what was on the receipt . Our room was nice, beds were a little odd. It was like you were getting sucked into a hole once you laid down on it. Our view was amazing!!! We had the beach right outside our window & people were playing volleyball outside our room. The water pressure in the shower is horrible. We got a room in the hallway on your way to the pool, detached from the main hotel & let me tell you something.......the noise level is way too high!! Everyone walking thru that hallway was loud, laughing, talking loudly & it echoed sooo bad. Worst place to have a room if your expecting it to be quiet. People are rude & don't even bother to be quiet while walking down this short hallway full of hotel rooms. I wish they told you that when you check in & they give you a room in this hallway. The check in lady was the BOMB!! I believe her name is Ashley. She has a great, upbeat, energetic vibe to her. LOVED her!! This hotel is pricey $300-$400/night but your paying for being right on the beach. Whats even surprising is that about 25yrs ago in my 20's on my first visit to Ft Lauderdale I stayed at the hotel right next to this one. How weird is that??? We used the bell hop to store our luggage once we got our FREE late check out (noon) while we hung out on the beach. There are bathrooms in the hotel lobby that we were able to change into our clothes to travel back home in. Front hotel staff... bell hope & valet were all nice. I'd definitely stay here again!!

Yelp
This place is a golden nugget. The resort has access to its own private beach. That's a plus, to not have to cross the busy streets to get to the beach. It is small enough and intimate enough, to have all the features necessary for a great resort stay. We had the stunning ocean view double room. The view was spectacular no matter what time of day. This facility also has two pools. The beachfront infinity-edge pool offers guests stunning views of our private beach and delectable dining from Salty Siren & the Clipper pool in the main building is secluded if you're engaging in more of a serene and relaxed experience. There are Bike Rentals, 24-Hr Fitness Center, On-Site Parking, Free Wi-Fi, Spa Suite, 4 Restaurants & 3 Bars, Mermaid Shows. 10/10 i recommend booking a stay.

Yelp
B Ocean Resort's maritime-themed American bar The Wreck Bar is a historic watering hole. The Wreck offers porthole views of a pool with mermaid shows. Growing up in Fort Lauderdale and living as an adult here this was a cool place to visit in the resort. It's entertainment and drinking! If you're staying at the resort it's convenient. If you check online there's definitely deals on the resort rooms during off peak seasons. It's nice when you're drinking and don't have far to go to crash! I'm basing my three stars on my past experiences visiting the resort. The current room accommodations don't look very good. Check the recent reviews and ask to see the room before you commit is my advice!!

Yelp
I have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world, and our stay at B Ocean was probably the worst experience we have had--anywhere. Our family stayed for a week, and by the end of the week we couldn't wait to get out of this place. First the good: the location is quite good--although far south of the area with cafes and shops. The drive from the airport is just a few minutes. The WiFi was fast and seamless. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the shower was decent. The woman who cleaned our room was excellent. There is a Keurig coffee machine in the room. Now for everything else: The hotel was built in the '50's, and it shows. It is in serious need of a remodel. Closet door was broken, hotel phone didn't work, etc. The side table was missing and never replaced during the week. The noise level in our room--until about 5 a.m.--was horrific all week. The last two nights the adjoining room was booked by a large group of teenagers (at least 15 people) who partied until sunrise. The valet parking is a nightmare. When returning to the hotel there is often a lineup of cars waiting to be parked and you sit for ten minutes while waiting your turn. There is no self-park option. I asked several times if I could simply drive across the street to the lot myself, and I was told that is not permitted. The entrance is blocked by a "valet parking only" sign/barricade. If you are expecting a room on the beach, you will be disappointed. We were a good hike from the beach, and only a small sliver of beach was visible beyond other buildings, barricades built for concerts, etc. And the "private beach" closes at 6 p.m. We often spent the day touring and arrived on the beach in the late afternoon. On our first day, after a few minutes relaxing in a chaise lounge the hotel staff came by and said they were closing--and they needed to collect and stack the lounge chairs. The cost of the hotel is completely out of line with the quality of the experience and the overcharging is the worst that I have ever experienced. EVERYTHING is ridiculously overpriced. Brunch in the bar? $84 each. Parking? $55 a night. A small bag of chips and water from the grab and go on the way out the door? $8.50. The night before we checked left, I checked out to save time in the morning. We had pre-paid for the room, but were presented with a bill for an additional $650 for parking and resort fee. Then in the morning on the way out when we dropped off our keys we were told that we owed another $150. What for? The girl didn't know. She said only that my checkout the previous night had been done before the "audit" and that we owed the additional $150. In short, there are many MUCH nicer hotels in Ft. Lauderdale that are reasonably priced. I was never so happy for a "vacation" to come to an end.

Yelp
Service was good and the rooms are big. Clean hotel and the staff are really efficient and amazing. First time at this place and definitely coming back if time permits. They have a private beach area for hotel guest and three building to choose from.

Yelp
The hotel itself looked nice on the outside but the inside lacked a bit to be desired. We needed a room in between a cruise and flying out. This seemed like a good option but was not worth the price. We were placed at an internal room where the pool was closed for the mermaid show. That was fine, but maybe put that upfront for people who think they are going to use the pool for a bit. The biggest complaint was the door itself. Not only did it not shut all the way unless you really slammed into it but the locking wasn't great either. The hotel definitely has some room for improvement.

Yelp
We booked this room as a last minute stay without any intentions on checking out the amenities it had to offer considering our limited time. So I can't say much for the resort as a whole. But for the ROOM, I'd give ZERO stars. We woke up to a roach infected room. Literally roaches crawling on the carpet by the bed, on the wall by the windows, and on the curtains. It was DISGUSTING and terrifying considering we fell asleep with our luggages wide open. Please PRE-INSPECT your room thoroughly before settling in. During checkout the manager was not available. So we were given a business card. We've sent multiple emails attaching the videos and called for a follow up multiple times without any response. One receptionist did explain that since we booked through a third party, the manager may not be able to do anything. So if you book 3rd party , don't expect help or a reasonable response from the repost either.

Yelp
Everything was spectacular at B Ocean Resort... from beginning to end!! Thank you to Marie (front desk clerk) for extending a special treat on our anniversary and giving us the best room with the best view in the house !!! We were so amazed at the views, floor to ceiling windows so it was beautiful to see the wide ocean and marina every morning! Thank you Kevin for helping us at the beach with complimentary lounge chairs and our umbrella (for a $$fee). You were very kind and helpful! Our time here was wonderful and we will definitely be coming back!!

Yelp
Horrible. Dirty. Rude staff. Checked in and out the same day. Disgusting. Place should be shut down. Stains on comforter, dirty dirty. Moved rooms and no heat front desk guy said it's normal but would consider moving my room. Insane. Moved hotel. Disgusting. Don't go

Yelp
My wife booked a stay at Ocean B for a quick getaway and to celebrate my birthday. We had an amazing Ocean Balcony room overlooking the ocean. Room was clean and very comfortable. Throughout our stay, we found the service to be outstanding, exceeding all our expectations. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by the valet, assisted us with the luggage and moved our vehicle to the secure paring garage. We arrived early so didn't expect our room to be ready. "Sally" quickly checked-us in and said she would call us as soon as the room is ready. Our luggage was quickly secured by another associate, "Hugo." He said when our room was ready, he be happy to bring up the luggage to us. We immediately headed to the outside bar and met what would be our outdoor bartender, "Stephanie." We were notified our room was ready shortly afterwards and met-up again with "Hugo" who brought up our luggage. We enjoyed Sushi at the main bar that was outstanding and the service behind the bar was equally outstanding. We dined at the Naked Crab and enjoyed more sushi and an excellent steak. Service there was again outstanding. On two occasions we also had the pleasure of meeting "Peter" whom I believe was the Hotel Manager. He introduced himself and I congratulated him on having such a versatile and well trained staffed. The prices for drinks and food are a little on the high side but we knew that from some of the reviews. Personally, I don't mind paying for the high quality drinks and food especially with the amazing customer service. Please congratulate your staff. Robert & Rosemarie P

Yelp
First and last time, I'll book this motel. The ridiculous daily 49.00 fees that they charge should be illegal. The hotel room we stayed in was dirty. The furniture looks like it hasn't been dusted in weeks. To top that off, my mom saw a cockroach in the bathroom. My biggest regret was not reading the Yelp reviews before booking this dump.

Yelp
The room was fine; The food choices were decent; however, I have never felt so out of place with the employees at this resort. My husband and I came to visit for a Thurs - Sunday Anniversary Celebration, and on our first night, Thursday evening, we sat at the bar and waited for approximately 10-15 minutes before ANYONE acknowledged us. One employee named Mario walked past us several times and looked in my face but failed to ask, "Can I help you?". However, when two young females sat at the bar beside us, he was all jokes and laughter. So, the next day, which was now Friday, my husband and I were at the pool, and when we first entered, the young lady came by and said can I get you anything once they open, I gave her my order, and I had never seen her again until another lady brought my food. However, they continued to check all couples around us every 15 or so, minus making sure they were good, but NOT ONE time did they come to us and say may I get you anything else. I truly did not feel this resort is customer-oriented TO ALL their customers regardless of skin color. Hell, they didn't know if I was a million-dollar customer or not. I made sure the manager on duty heard my concerns but I WILL NEVER spend ANOTHER DOLLAR with this resort.

Yelp
B Ocean Safety is not a priority! The slider door to the balcony did not lock. The battery on the keycard pad to our room died and we had to make multiple requests to get it changed. We waited hours to get into our room. The pool was not monitored and what appeared to be non-guests, granted access to the amenities. They allowed outside music and buckets of fried chicken and drinks in the pool- disgusting! The "guests" took over the place and the hotel did nothing to stop them. They also advertised use of two pools and only one was available. The other pool was closed our entire stay. The room did not have a dresser and the closet had only a few hangers. The shower head was hand held and mounted high on the wall. Nothing pleasant about the shower! There was a dirty Kitty litter box in the hallway our entire stay despite requests to remove it.

Yelp
Maids stole a $400 bracelet that was on the dresser. Called the front desk, security, and lost & found, told us there was nothing they can do. Do not stay here

Yelp
I booked a day room for this property using Resort Pass. Check in was daily simple. I did not the pool however it was a decent size. The room had a beautiful view of the marina and peeks of the ocean. The bed was comfortable and was able to find a good spot on the beach. Umbrellas do come at an extra charge and all purchases made on the beach have to be paid for via cash or charged to the room.

Yelp
The only thing good about this place is the mermaid show and the brunch. Nothing bad to say about the staff, they are all extremely friendly and courteous . The Hotel needs some serious updating with the air conditioner not working properly, very poor lighting in the bathroom, beds were comfy, but absolute chaos and confusion at checkout. $449 for their "stunning king ocean view room" was not even close. Towels and chaise lounges were not available even though we received cards to use them complimentary.

Brittany W.

Yelp
This resort is falling apart. The ceiling drywall was falling down on my son and the room had ants.

Yelp
PROS *Check in front desk service was friendly *Multiple food/drink services on site *Great room food service. Great food, hot and fresh. *Wreck bar is unique + has shows *Private beach with lounges / room gets you two chairs and towels. *On the beach service for food and drinks *Beautiful views *On the beach *Historically beautiful Hotel (but needs maintenence) CONS * There was spoiled food in our room upon checking in, lady that came to clean was very friendly and offered complimentary breakfast however no one came by the next day for this and front desk was not very considerate when bringing up the situation. Check out was not a great leaving experience due to this. * Broken light fixture in room * Banging on door although we had "please do not disturb", when we let someone know about this, they said it could have been housekeeping but they never came back around * Drinks definitely not the best tasting compared to other places along the beachside * Back building on beach gets very hot during the day on the first floor and "stunning ocean view" is not as nice on the first floor if you do not have a balcony room. A chic view in the building across the street is actually far more aesthetically pleasing with this considered. (This place has potential but you HAVE to be aware of all the fees and amenities you are getting compared to others along the beach.) Honest rating : 3.7 out of 5 & 7.5 out of 10

Yelp
Not bad, not on the beach but close enough (about 3 unofficial blocks), the rooms were very dated but clean, the bathroom was tiny (you can't close the door while doing your business ), and the room felt a bit cave like (it was quite dark). There's nothing bad to say about the place, but nothing great either.

Dylan G.

Yelp
Terrine staff who treat customers like they are sub-human. The management is full of themselves and refuses to solve issues that their customers face.

Yelp
Not going to be a good review. The front desk people can literally take a hike-replacement would be a great idea. Revamp. It was a Saturday night! I don't need an attitude or an eye roll when I'm just asking a question about something I paid for. Sorry miss hourly-Lose the attitude. Rooms weren't as expected, the views were okay across the way, but we were expecting actual ocean views right there and we were given rooms far off. The carpeting is disgusting and the bathrooms could use a revamp. There's a restaurant/bar I wanted to checkout for one quick drink and a bite to eat and the 3 ladies standing outside refused me to enter without paying $65 for brunch. I'm like. Nah. Thanks. I'll go elsewhere. The cost of a room was $400 bucks each room (booked two rooms) and it was just okay. I understand this place has been around for a very long time but what the heck. Get it together

Tim D.

Yelp
Place is horrific. Walked in, looked at the room and walked out. Immediately went to The W hotel down the road and got a room, and what a worlds difference. B Ocean : The room stunk like mildew and wet dog. There were dead bugs on the windowsill, stains on the couch. Lampshades we're hanging off the lamps, along with the hanging light in the shower. Pubic hair was left on the toilet. Management didn't seem to care, they sent up house cleaning and she cared even less. Do not let the photos on their website fool you. This place is dirt.

Yelp
This is a lovely resort on the beach in Fort Lauderdale, FL. There is a fantastic tiki-type bar, Salty Siren, at the pool which is right on the beach. The bartender makes delicious cocktails, even if he isn't very chatty. The chef in the kitchen directly behind the bar makes the most delectable food with obvious pride and love. Their prices are steep, but this is a new normal these days. We were given a room in a building that was across the street and around the corner that was so far away, in-fact that we had to take one elevator up to the 3rd floor, go across a skywalk to another elevator to get to our room. The rooms are very pretty and always have a good view, obviously better when closer than a block away from the beach, but better than other hotels I've stayed in. As we entered the last building to take the last elevator, the area had an extremely strong chemical smell. It was obvious that they had been painting and had not ventilated the area. We will always return to the B Ocean in Fort Lauderdale. It is not a cookie-cutter property and the staff at the front desk are friendly, too.

Sarah P.

Yelp
A decent enough hotel situated right on the beach In Fort Lauderdale. The pool area gets a bit congested though. However the beach zone is relaxing.

Yelp
Ewwww. Nothing like great pictures to get you sucked in. Front desk was wonderful but man, bring some bacterial wipes. Upon arriving we got to the room to find that dirty towels were left on the bathroom counter and there was beard/moustache (or whatever) in the sink. Immediately went to talk to the front. I told them it was a pretty dirty room. She said she would send someone up to get it cleaned. This is what they call clean. They did clean the sink but nothing else. I ultimately wiped it down. It was just gross. No other rooms were available on this day and we were only staying over night. Just be prepared.
