"Located inside the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, this grand steakhouse impressively gets its signature cuts from Japan, New Jersey, Idaho, and Texas. Whether it’s their massive 20 ounce Delmonico steak and other prime steaks, diners shouldn’t sleep on their Chilean sea bass, whole Maine lobster, and other fresh seafood options." - Ernest Owens

Absolutely amazing experience at B-Prime Steakhouse! The atmosphere was upscale yet welcoming, and the food was nothing short of exquisite. Our server, Frank, truly made the evening unforgettable. His attentiveness and extensive knowledge of the menu helped us choose the perfect dishes. The steak was cooked to perfection and the sides were delicious. Frank's friendly demeanor and impeccable service really elevated our dining experience. Highly recommend B-Prime for anyone looking for a top-notch meal!

First time trying this restaurant. We came here on a Sunday evening and there was so wait. The server was friendly. The steak was good. The surf and turf sushi roll (lobster and Wagyu) was NOT good. The sushi rice was pretty salty. I DO NOT recommend the sushi from there. The side dish we’ve ordered was the chipotle corn brûlée which was pretty good. We also ordered the Chilean Sea Bass which was good too. Overall i think this place is ok but don’t think I’m coming back anytime soon.

Joe our waiter was the absolute best! Great personality, had my fiancé and I laughing the entire time! The steaks were amazing as well, drinks very tasty and strong 🤩. The atmosphere was beautiful as well! 10/10 for B-Prime!

This is a great place for drinks and appetizers. The restaurant was very upscale, and the waitstaff was very attentive. The braised pork belly and tuna tartare were delicious. The oysters were so fresh and sweet that I would have thought they were from the west coast if the staff hadn't said they were from Cape May! However, even though the Delmonico looked like it was cooked perfectly, the steak was not tender, so was disappointed because this place coined itself as a steakhouse. The Chilean seabass was actually one of the high points for the entrees, and the miso glaze was perfect. The Chipotle corn brulee was fantastic. The presentation on all dishes was very well done.

Google
The chateaubriand was immaculate! Everything was exactly what you expect from a steakhouse, especially the mashed potatoes and truffle mac. Appropriately priced in my opinion - there are a variety of price points. Service was kind, attentive, and helpful. Thank you Chef Howard!!!

Got the 20 oz bone in NY Strip medium well. Fantastic flavor & texture as always 🥇🥇 Sat in the bar area with XL lounge seats. Started the night with shrimp cocktail & a glass of Sauvignon Blanc then progressed to a glass of red Napa when the steak was served 👍 Everything here from the service to ambiance is impeccable 💪💪 11/21/24 Dinner with President & executive team of Borgata. A sharing of wine & ideas.

Stopped in for dinner with my wife. Our meal was delicious. A bit overpriced however it’s a casino and expected. Drinks fantastic. We will dine again

This is the high end steakhouse at the Borgata Casino Resort in Atlantic City. Prices are high but they serve a variety of steaks including the trendy Asian quality beefs. The menu is not large but it has vegetarians and pescatarians coveted. Vegans will be out of luck. Service was very good and the decor was pleasant mid century steak house. Noise level was high and it was difficult to hold a conversation. Lighting ok but varied on where you were seated. Small but adequate wine and beer lists. We shared a salad and had the halibut ( slightly overcooked)and the Flight of Three in the Taste of Japan steak offerings. This was a very small portion of three different steaks, Saga, Kobe and Olive, cooked tableside and served with three different sauces. A nice experience but pricey. Overall this is a fine restaurant but not the best steakhouse on the property. We give it four Google stars and 3.5 clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale.

Yelp
First time at the Borgata- We came for a Timmy Trumpet show (had a blast), and left with a review in a celebration of food!! B-Prime Steakhouse, we WILL be seeing you again. Absolutely delicious! We did not have reservation and took the Borgata on a walk around whim and came upon B-Prime. It was rather busy at 9pm on a Saturday, but fortunately the delightful lounge area had seating. Such a wonderful option to come as you are and have a meal. Ok, before the food (which was Outstanding!), also need to review the table, lolol. The flatware was stunning (I had to Google Image search) and the chairs were so comfortable and great for posture. We decided on a table full of apps for our meal. Our true app, we started with Oysters. Fresh, medium sized with a mild brine, good! Then for the table we got the Wagyu Cheesesteak Bites, French Onion Soup, Tuna Tartare and the California Roll. The cheesesteak "bite" was a sandwich, legit. Nicely filled with tender meat and runny cheese sauce atop. The roll was thick and buttery. French onion soup was great proportion of onion to broth. Did not taste of sherry, which was a plus. Cheesy and bready, but still gave love to the soup. The California Roll was real crab pieces of large size. The rice was sticky, so not crazy fresh. But the taste of the crag leg made up for it. The food star (because we haven't talked drinks yet!!!), was the tuna. Fresh!!!! Crisp wonton chips accompanied. The aioli, yuzu and shallots tasted delicious alone and only heightened the dish with the tuna. Now the BEST PART (in making me thirsty as I write)- drinks! I have written reviews before including thoughts on my signature dinner drink- A Dirty Sapphire Martini with Blue Cheese Olives. THIS martini at B-Prime......knocked it out of the park!! PERFECTION. Period. No vermouth, the olive juice was fresh and perfect proportion. The olives were recently stuffed. Impeccable. I want this to be the martini I have forever!! My husband is a bourbon guy and was so excited to see their selection. It is wonderful! Some of the greats. So he was happy to have some of an old fav and a tried new. If you are into whiskey, B-Prime is a hero. Also to note, the service in the lounge area- Multiple servers checked on us regularly. All smiley, kind and attentive. Did a great job. Next time in AC, we'll be at the Borgata for B- Prime. A must do and must dine!!

Nataliya K.

Yelp
Huge disappointment ! The service was unattentive, unfriendly...hey! We are your customers ! Please answer our questions do not give us the attitude !!! Steak was burned and hard to chew, my salmon was ok though ( luckily )only that's why I give you 2 star And Please ! SHARP all of your knifes , it was almost impossible to cut steak and even cheesesteak ... We won't be back

Shawn C.

Yelp
Our steaks were prepared perfectly as requested. Tender and seasoned perfectly. We order shrimp and clams as an appetizer . Shrimp was very good. Clams had an odd flavor as I believe lemon and lime may have been added. Not a big fan of whatever prep they used. We highly recommend this location and is suited perfect for a couple celebrating a special occasion.

Yelp
Last night my wife and I had a drink each at the bar and two Happy Hour food specials. My wife ordered a Bloody Mary made with whatever vodka was in the well. We get our bill and we were charged $19 for the Bloody Mary. We asked the bartender why was it so expensive and he said it was a specialty cocktail. The drink wasn't listed on the bill as a Bloody Mary but as a specialty cocktail. I can't believe anyone would charge $19 for a Bloody Mary. I guess we won't be going back there anytime soon.

Yelp
Had dinner here the other night service was horrific waiter was told to split the check. We were with a party of five a check was supposed to go to one of the three and one of the two came back had check all mixed up went back again. it was even worse. They knew that we were late to catch a show asked for a manager manager came over, attempted to correct the check he too could not get it right we explained to him that we're late now for show wouldn't buy us a drink for our inconvenience or offers a Goodwill jester. The cost of the dinner between the two parties was over $600. We've eaten there before I will never go there again because of the lack of service that we've received. The general manager should really take some more guidance from his corporate office. I I am in the hospitality business. A gesture of Goodwill goes a long way we will never return again.

Nino R.

Yelp
Ask for Joe. Reservations are recommended, especially if you're looking to sit in his section. You'll never go wrong with a 20oz prime rib, mid rare of course. Calamari is always a safe choice, rings only so a safe bet for the uninitiated. Caesar Salad is customary. You won't find a fault here. I don't usually partake in sides but I do enjoy the mushroom and onions. Make a reservation...

Anthony C.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere, food was worth the price, and the servers were great. Can't go wrong with the Ribeye, which I ordered rare and it was cooked perfectly. I also ordered the 'Taste of Japan Flight of Three' where you get 1oz sample of each wagyu beef they have to offer for $100, and it was so worth it. I thought I would get nothing on the plate but each piece was a decent amount for a sample and being the highest quality beef in the restaurant. If you never tried wagyu and are hesitant, do this instead of spending $200+ on an actually wagyu steak not knowing what you will get yourself into somewhere else. Literally melts in your mouth and best steak I ever had in my life.

Jenny T.

Yelp
The food was delicious, especially the lobster bisque. I really like the ambiance as it's nicely lit and perfect for the dress I had on. The waiters are super attentive and we got our food one by one in a timely manner. I ended up taking most of the entrees home because we ordered too many appetizers. I want to try the other restaurants at AC before I come back here again but it was a nice place to eat dinner!

Alyssa N.

Yelp
Great food and service! I think our servers name was Gaco he was awesome and accommodated my vegan requests. My mom and sister enjoyed the shrimp cocktail, wedge salad and ribeye steak. Beautiful new looking restaurant. Highly recommend if you are in the borgata!

Eric T.

Yelp
Knowledgable staff when it came to menu. All Support staff friendly. Ambience is blah. Decor is decent but nothing extraodinary.

Jo I.

Yelp
This used to be Bobby Flay steakhouse, now rebranded as B- Prime . Seems like most of the seating and Decor is the same , and they still have the raw bar area where you can choose your seafood. Recently, I had my birthday dinner here, where we ordered the tomahawk steak, Prime rib, pork chop, and Seafood Tower. We ordered our prime rib and steak medium rare . As we hoped (and expected for the price), Everything was delicious, and service was top notch. Maybe because it was Christmas eve, but we didn't have to wait long for our meal, and they came by regularly to check on us. Given that this restaurant is in Borgata, Prices will cost you a pretty penny, so if you have comp dollars or Casino F&B, this would be a place to spend it.

Robbin S.

Yelp
Everything on the menu is so good! This place is consistent with food, service, and ambiance. Definitely worth a visit.

Evito H.

Yelp
Came on a Thursday night. Service was great. Drinks were excellent. Food was sub par. Steak was awful.

Tina K.

Yelp
They are on par with other steakhouses but are a little high priced. The service was great, our server was clearly at odds with his helper and he was a jokester. Some people might not like that, but I thought this restaurant was really trying to take itself way too seriously so I appreciated the show with my meal. They were all good at getting things done but I really didn't appreciate the squabble. I'm not your therapist. Not much remodeling from Bobby Flay, which is very open and close to everything. Room for a lot of guests but it was nearly empty. The food wasn't memorable. We normally eat at the old Homestead and are more likely to return there. Prices are similar, but the layout and look are more elegant, and I'm still mad you took out Bobby Flay. Those meals were memorable.

Josh F.

Yelp
Good, not great. Frank was a great waiter. My filet was good, a little on the salty side. It was a Filet, a little pricey at $65 but expected for the Borgata. My wife really liked her sea bass. The wedge is not worth it. We got the coconut shrimp which was very good. They also gave us a few cookies with whipped cream for our anniversary, which was very nice!

Debbie D.

Yelp
We always choose to do meals family style. The service was above and beyond. we ordered the tomahawk and it was tough and a little bit more than medium, which is what we asked for. The crust was great though. We also had the tuna tartare appetizer, which I absolutely loved, and when he saw that I ran out of chips to eat it with they just brought me some more. We really could've done without the chipotle corn it was just too much cream and butter and not enough corn. The lobster and waygu sushi took away from the roll. I get that it's the surf and turf, but I would've preferred it separately. The French onion soup was amazing. The caciodepepe was amazing and super rich. The kids loved the pork belly. We filled up on apps. The food was good but what took it away was the service because they were above and beyond!

Yelp
Had a chance to check out B- Prime this past weekend . Atmosphere is upbeat and nice and the service is very attentive. As for food , I got 1 drink , the house cured pork belly , and the Delmonico steak and donuts for dessert The drink was called the gold strike . It was whisky and some honey . Definitely recommend trying this . It goes down very easy didn't even taste the alcohol. The in house cured pork belly was very good . It was tender , juicy and easy to cut . As far as taste goes , it highly reminded me of Filipino adobo . For all my Filipino readers out there and people who've tried adobo you know what I mean . There was a slight sweetness to it as well . For steak I had the Delmonico which was 20oz . My steak was just ok. I asked for it rare , it actually was more medium rare when I cut it down the middle . Another thing was my steak was a little tough . Would've liked it a bit more tender and I had to utilize the sauce it came with in account of it being slightly on the dry side . For dessert, I ordered the donuts because the PBG dessert wasn't available. The donuts were light fluffy, and everything a donut should be . It also came with chocolate and raspberry sauces which was a nice take Overall, I think it was just ok . I think The Homestead steakhouse is far better taste wise. If The restaurant was called B-prime only instead they of B- prime Steakhouse I'd give it a slightly higher rating . As a steakhouse it flopped for me but just as an overall restaurant it was pretty good. Hopefully they makes sense

Larissa S.

Yelp
First time here!! Service was great but the steak was horrible. I ordered a Filet mignon MEDIUM but when it came that meat was sooo dry, and they tried to fix it but unfortunately it wasn't to my taste. Unfortunately will not be coming back and will not recommend it to my friends either.

Yelp
A lot to unpack in this review. Had my eye on this spot in The Borgata that took over the old Bobby Flay Steakhouse that is no longer there. Once I saw that their menu had a sampling of the best wagyu meats for one hundred dollars, I talked myself into needing to go here as the room and the show tickets we received in Atlantic City were free. Now, for the review of the Taste of Japan (3 -1oz samplings of Sabu, Wagyu, and the most expensive cut being Olive. The price of a large Olive steak is over three hundred dollars if you can believe it! This is cooked table side by your server. Now food for thought, pun not intended, do you really want your server cooking your $100 cuts of meat?? My girlfriend and I both questioned this as you would think the skill level to prepare and cook such high quality meats should be prepared by a skilled chef. Secondly, it came out with three different dipping sauces, when I asked the server if she highly recommends any of the sauces as I thought such these samplings should not be tarnished from their original flavor, she kinda shrugged and said try them without the sauce first. The meats were extremely oily, to the point I thought it may upset my stomach. After thinking about this appetizer, I believe it's more of a gimmick. People were staring at our table as the cooking tableside garnered attention but this item which was the sole reason I came here, was a huge letdown. Garlic Prawns had extremely limited amounts of meat in them which one order gives you what the server described as two and half prawns split down the middle, how exactly is it half a prawn.....I was only one glass of wine deep and at this point scratching my head pretty hard on that. My girlfriend got the Filet Mignon however she chose to get it prepared well done. The first bite I had of it was decent but when I tried a second bite I just couldn't finish the bite or have anymore, I like my cuts of meat cooked medium rare. Mashed potatoes were very good, our other side were the crispy Brussel sprouts which were decent but I do not believe any sauce accompanied them . All in with one glass of wine, no other alcoholic beverages or dessert you're sitting with a $323 check which included a 20% tip. It wasn't the servers' fault that the food didn't meet the expectation. Heed my warning and learn from me. Do not come to B-Prime or Angeline's at The Borgata. I have been to both, and they should be skipped. As always people SYOY!!!!

Anastasiya F.

Yelp
The food is absolutely untouchable . The flavor , the creativity , the presentation and all cooked to perfection. The service is fast and efficient . There are waiters and there are helpers so you're never left unassisted when you need it . The ambiance is pleasant . It's not too dark leaving a restaurant feel instead of lounge but same time the different decor and feel of the different areas gives a vibe . it's on the higher end when it comes to pricing but absolutely worth it . Try it and thank me later ;)

Deborah V.

Yelp
Well, it's not Bobby Flays. Sure miss them. The food is good, overpriced even for a casino. The best thing about going is the waiter Joe. We continue to come there because he makes it enjoyable. Lobster bisque is great. Salmon-eh. Chilean Seabass is really good. Eggplant parm is a really surprising nice dish.

Danielle D.

Yelp
while waiting for our reservation, the tone was immediately set wrong. we headed to the bar to grab a drink while we waited & the bartender didn't offer much selection. he actually started to make a vodka club i didn't ask for & reiterated "vodka club?" i said "what?" he said "vodka club" and handed me it as if he didn't have time to make me anything else so accept this or nothing. was weird and off putting. dinner was good - nothing i haven't had at other very nice restaurants. the NY Strip was the tastiest steak for sure. sides were good & shareable. even my espresso martini at the end of the night didn't have beans which is for good luck & standard! just weird. atmospheric was really nice & esthetic.

Jon H.

Yelp
I believe the 3.5 star rating currently on Yelp is appropriate. If giving half star ratings were possible I would've given a 3.5 (I chose a 3 star as I feel my experience was closer to 3 than 4 stars). Had reservations for 6 people at 5 pm on a Saturday night. We're used to Old Homestead at Borgata so I am comparing my experiences between the two. We were seated promptly at 5 pm right as they opened. Our server was very nice but as a whole they seemed somewhat understaffed? The restaurant wasn't very busy but everything took a while to come out and once we ordered our entrees service seemed to have disappeared. I'm going to preface this review by saying I do believe everything was overpriced for the portion size compared to Old Homestead and steak 48 in philly. Everything was good but nothing blew me away. We ordered a Paloma and an Old Fashioned, both were very good. We ordered 3 Caesar salads, cheese bread, oysters, and steak tartare as starters to share. The Caesar salads were average but their salad options were limited and these seemed like the best option. The cheese bread was soft. The steak tartare was also very good and tender (I would definitely recommend). For entrees we had 2 filets ordered medium, a delmonico ordered medium rare, a bone in Ny strip ordered medium rare, and a lobster tail. The delmonico was cooked / seasoned nicely and was tender. I did not taste the NY strip but was told it was cooked nicely but tough. The filets were tender but one was cooked perfectly, the other one was well done. We also had broccolini, mushrooms, and spinach to split as sides. All were above average but again portion sizes were lacking. I'm happy I finally got to try B-Prime but this will probably be my last visit. I know they are new and are probably still ironing some things out but we've just had too great of experiences at Old Homestead with better tasting food, bigger portion sizes, and prices more acceptable for the quality/experience to think about coming back here.

Justine S.

Yelp
Casino steakhouses are typically overpriced and overrated and to be honest, the steaks here are just okay IMO. But what keeps us coming back here is the service. We always get seated with Lewis and Steve and they make our experience such a delight - they are genuinely so friendly and accommodating. So what's worth it? The appetizers, sides, and desserts are where they shine. The cacio e pepe (my toddler can eat this whole dish), garlic prawns, and tuna tartare are my go-to starters. Followed by splitting whatever steak my husband is in the mood for. Their mashed potatoes, truffle mac, and crispy Brussels sprouts are the perfect accompaniment to a hearty steak. And to end the night, their creme brûlée always has my heart. They also have a great wine selection and especially love that they offer Sancerre by the glass. I love the vibe here as well, classy yet comforting. Never a bad experience when we come here, even as a large party.

Yelp
I recently had dinner at the bar at B-Prime Steakhouse. This restaurant is in Borgata and recently replaced the Bobby Flay Steakhouse. Like the former restaurant, this space has an upscale look/feel typical of premium casino resorts. The music mix of smooth jazz, rock, r&b and groove complements the space well and it's played at the perfect volume. There is a large lounge with table service outside the dining area, suitable for drinks and light bites. The bar is medium sized; the bartenders are personable and on point. I ordered an 8 oz. filet and mashed potatoes. Food/price experience was more like 3-3 1/2 stars, as the medium-ordered filet was closer to well. There are complimentary pretzel rolls, that's different. Overall, the hip environment and staff make B-Prime worth checking out; yet the food needs to be PERFECT for the prices (Remember, there's another notable steakhouse across the casino floor!). I'd like to try more of the menu and update the review in the future.

Megan H.

Yelp
Had a quick weekend trip to AC to celebrate some birthdays, B-Prime had delicious food and amazing, attentive service!

Amy H.

Yelp
This place exceeded my expectations in regard to food and flavor. We got the oysters, pork belly, and the shareable tomahawk steak. The sides were the spinach and corn brûlée. The food was all so gooodd! Would definitely recommend if you have comp dollars. The only reason I'm giving this a 4/5 is because it was more on the expensive side.

Jayroams50 ..

Yelp
Greeted with a smile. Well taken care of by both Nelson and Zanette. Started with the cheese steak egg rolls. Amazing. Then, I had the scallops with chipotle corn burlee. Also, amazing! Finished with the chocolate molten cake. Highly recommend. Will definitely be going back soon.

David L s.

Yelp
We had our thanksgiving dinner here. I had the thanksgiving meal. Which was supposed to have green beans and mashed potatoes, I didn't get these with my meal. My husband had the filet minon Alittle dry. Service was good. But you could hear the chef yelling at the servers in the dinning room. We were seated at the bench seating and I faced the wall through dinner. Don't think we'll go back.

Kevin M C.

Yelp
My wife and I went to B Prime for Thanksgiving I ordered Prime rib, and she ordered the same The waiter returned and stated that they were out of Prime rib, but they would upgrade us to two Delmonico steaks. The dinner came with two huge salads and delicious warm rolls and desserts of chocolate cake or cheese cake. The food was very good. Management was excellent along with the servers.

Joanne D.

Yelp
Ate here for the second time since they switched from Bobby Flays and despite the negative reviews we had another outstanding meal. The service was impeccable and the quality of food was outstanding. I had the delmonico and fresh fries which were both outstanding. I had a glass of cab that was perfect with a nice steak and complimented the meal and atmosphere perfectly. I would recommend B Prime any day!

Mike S.

Yelp
Don't go here if you have kids or want good food and service. Daniela replies with a BS response even though I spoke to him once we left. He said "sorry" and then laughed it off with his hostess and other manager. Coming from the industry, they really do a great job treat people like garbage. They have NO remorse and think they will get away with it bc it's a bunch of gamblers paying with comps. If your taste buds are dead and you don't care about having a good time, then go here.

Elliott A.

Yelp
Just OK. Can't justify the the prices. Went to a steak house, got seafood. Why ? The prices. Everything we got was kinda average. The wedge salad was awful. The scallops were good. The Tile Fish was good. The Tuna was good. Ambience was decent Service was average for this level. You decide. E

Ryan L.

Yelp
I thought the food and steaks were good but not amazing. For the price there are definitely better restaurants in atlantic city. I think it's just a tad below some of the finest in AC at least for the steaks but it was still good overall. we got the truffle max n cheese which was good the wedge salad was pretty good (not a fan of salads w steak) and The delmonico was good somewhat flavorful. i think the NY strip was good and maybe even better quality if your a strip steak fan (which usually i'm not) the service was great tho. some people complain about the seating being close together

Anthony C.

Yelp
Our go to place whenever we go to the Borgata. From the coconut shrimp and shrimp cocktail appetizers to the Filet Mignon everything is fabulous. Ambiance is perfect, fancy but not overboard. What really adds to the dining experience is the service. My wife and I specifically ask for William and Robert. Both are extremely professional and make the evening so enjoyable. Try the Rib Cap it's a must

Andrewf F.

Yelp
Tried to make a dinner reservation for myself three months prior to my trip to Atlantic City on their website. It kept showing that there was nothing available, even though I tried different time slots between 5 to 9:30 pm. But when I searched reservations for two or more guests, all the time slots were available. Their site did allow you to enter the date/time of your intended reservation on a list, even though nothing was available; so I did. I ended up making and confirming a reservation at the Old Homestead Steak House for one guest for the same date/time. On the day of my reservation at Old Homestead, B-Prime sent me a text that my table was ready, even though they never got back to me about my unconfirmed reservation before my trip. Needless to say, I ignored their text, and went on to the Old Homestead Steak House, which always accommodates even for one guest. I walked past B-Prime before going to Old Homestead, and saw plenty of empty small tables for one or two people. Which explained why they would text me at the last minute that my unconfirmed reservation is now suddenly available. They had plenty of time to confirm my reservation during the three months period, yet they waited till they realized they did not fill up many tables on that day. If you only care about having two or more people to eat at your restaurant, why even bother to ask people to be on a waiting list for one guest? Just show on your site that tables are for two or more guests only. With this kind of practice, I will never go there, even with two or more people. I will stick with the Old Homestead, which has much better reviews than the B-Prime. AndrewF

Yelp
My company was having a big gathering with a pie y fixed menu. Unfortunately I don't know the name of the drink but it had kiwi in it which was good. I ordered the wedge salad, filet mignon, and chocolate cake. My bf got the samething. Family style we shared the creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, and Mac and cheese. I had asked for no cheese on my salad. It came with it on it so I ate around it. Otherwise a big and nice salad. The filet amazing. Cooked well done and not burnt. Very soft and easy to cut. The same for my bf. I didn't like the spinach it was watery. The Mac and cheese was good. The best were the truffle mashed. The truffle wasn't over whelming. He comes out with the cake. It's a huge slice I tell him we can share and he gives us the two slices anyway. If you like chocolate this is for you. The food took alittle to come out but it was great.

Chris R.

Yelp
First time at B Prime. Staff were helpful and friendly. The food unfortunately was not up to expectations. A wedge salad is still just a salad but it was hard to eat because it wasn't cut into a wedge. Using my butter knife to cut through the core of iceberg lettuce is not what I was looking for. The "tomato jam" didn't bring anything special and serving it in a large stainless steel bowl only complicated things. Keep it simple guys. My ribeye steak was very tender but a little over cooked. The flavor was alright but not to the level of Ruth's Chris. The loaded baked potato was really good and the bacon bits were a nice touch. I'm not sure what to make of this restaurant. Upscale decor and prices to match. Some people wearing nice dresses and jackets while others were in shorts and a tee shirt. Even one of the waiters had jeans on which was odd considering dress shirts and ties worn by the staff. I may give it a try again sometime.

Amazing Dinner. Highly recommend. Service was excellent. 80's playlist playing. Food was delicious. Drinks were awesome. My only wish was that there was a gluten free option for dessert. Maybe a crème brûlée. Seems to be a standard AC dessert. This restaurant is very well priced for the Borgata and for an upscale restaurant in AC. Old Homestead will be gone soon. This will be the main steakhouse. We can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Music was loud rap music - not what I would expect from an expensive steakhouse .. Server charged for every soda refill... Cheese bread appetizer was delicious.. Mac and cheese was delicious - but was barely warm.. French fries - served barely warm.. I ordered the 32 oz domestic wagyu steak - it was great .. tender and buttery ... could have been seasoned better .. Donuts were delicious... Server was very good ... but rushed us towards the end of the meal.

Yelp
B-Prime Steakhouse provided amazing food, service and ambiance. The live performance was an added bonus.

Yelp
I ordered a medium steak but it came out more than well down. It was quite exercise of my tongue and mouth muscles.

Yelp
When you share any kind of space in steak with Olde Homestead Steakhouse which is a 2 minute walk across the casino at The Borgata you have a lot to live up to. Maybe it isn't a fair comparison but when you open another steakhouse so close the door is open. I am not going to compare the food, atmosphere to the Homestead. This is about B-Prime and its just OK. A lot of what I have to say is not the restaurants fault but a long explanation of why I hate the type of seating they have a lot of here. I cannot stand bench seating where they have these big long benches at a restaurant and they separate tables for 2 or 4 by a foot or two. This place isn't a family style restaurant, I don't want strangers sitting right next to me and this experience highlighted why. My date sat on the bench I sat across. We got our decent but overpriced drinks and right away I have to listen to the people to my left having a loud conversation and laughing like their watching an episode of Seinfeld. Not that big of a deal but it made me uncomfortable right away. Then these people spotted someone they knew, and their friend plopped themself down right between my date and their friend and started having a loud, annoying conversation. I glared right at them. The looked right through me and continued. I figured ok, give them a minute. My date knew I was pissed... but mouthed its ok. Its not ok. Its rude as hell to plop yourself down next to a stranger at an expensive restaurant shoulder to shoulder. 1 minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes they're still chatting away like 14 year olds. I said out loud. "f--k this... you're obviously having such a great time here you guys can have this table too." I got up and went to the Maitre D to leave, explained what was going on and they apologized even though it wasn't their fault other than having this type of seating and tables so close together. They sat us at a real table in another section. Again, the restaurant itself is not at fault at any of this other than the table setup and when I presented the problem they fixed it, its just a long way to say I cannot stand seating like that. On to the food, we ordered a wedge salad (good), coconut shrimp (excellent), I had the NY strip and she had the ribeye. My steak was undercooked almost raw, hers was mid rare ordered medium. They were seasoned well but the meat was underwhelming... just ok. Desert was decent, not great. All in all the place is just ok. The bill was asinine but that's to be expected at a casino steakhouse. I would not go back, especially with the Olde Homestead in the same building. I have no problem spending this kind of money for food, but it just has to be better than this.

Yelp
Had an 8:15 PM reservation this Saturday that I booked for my friend's birthday. Upon walking in we were greeted by very unwelcoming women. They told us we had to wait a couple minutes to be seated so we decided to grab drinks at the bar. We ordered 3 "Beach Don't Kill My Vibe" and a beer. The drinks were good but after a while we got bored of standing by the bar. I asked about three times when we were going to be seated (by this time it was 8:35PM), with no apology or compensation for anything they told us they had no tables and were waiting for people to get up. I understand things like this happen sometimes but with a "fancy restaurant" like this there should be more organization when booking reservations. Finally around 8:45 PM they told us our table was ready and when we walked over to the table there was no silverware and we were missing a chair. Our server comes to take our order in a very rushed way. Tells us "he should take our whole order now because he's very busy and the kitchen is slow". We ordered another round of drinks which took forever to come out so we didn't get to drink a lot. We also ordered a couple appetizers; Oysters, Coconut Shrimp, House-Cured Pork Belly, Cacio E Pepe, and Tuna Tartare. Luckily, all of the appetizers (except the coconut shrimp which was very tough, and barely any coconut) were very good. The portions are very small so if you're with a group you have to order double. Also when the apps came out the guy was staring, waiting for us to make room on the table for him. I felt like one of the servers. For our main meal we decided to share the Tomahawk Steak (medium), Truffle Mac & Cheese, Cream of Spinach, and Chipotle Corn Brulee. The steak came out 40 minutes after appetizers, and when it got to the table it wasn't sliced properly. Not only was it not sliced, it was bloody RARE. We had somewhere to be at 10PM, so at that point we couldn't wait another minute for a new steak to come out. We were already so over it we told them we just wanted the check, we didn't end up having dinner. We were starving. The manager came over and was kind enough to apologize and take care of the drinks we ordered. We paid the bill and left. The appetizers were good, the steak probably would have been good too if they put a little more effort. I'm not sure if they are newly opened but the restaurant has some potential. Maybe with some more organization and staff training I would consider giving them another try.

Yelp
The ambiance was nice. The maitre D was amazing. The salad was great too much to eat would have loved to took it with but the server just said done and trashed it. Pork belly was oaky , have had better ( Gordon Ramsey,Steak House) . Crab cake was great. But I have ate at many steakhouses and we had the A5 Kobe beef and the olive Beef I will never have a steak as good again. And cooked to perfection We had ruffle Mac & cheese good more cheese would be nice. Chipotle corn , the best. Deserts was apple donut's very good, Crème Brûlée it passed not the best to much like pudding rather then custard. Service was oaky felt rushed like my salad first then appetizers then my meal with this the salads and appetizers came out within just seconds of each other. The table was overcrowded and it was a disgrace. At least they waited till we were halfway done salad and our appetizers before meal came out. That's why I did not get to finish my salad because then right two seconds later the appetizers came out. at this point, I would have to say I have been to other restaurants where the timing has been much better. if you're looking for timing and a relax meal, I would have to say you would do the old Homestead or Gordon Ramsay's. It was a little rushed, and for the price of it it was good, but should not be that rushed, they let you sit, but felt rushed

Yelp
We tried making a reservation at Old homestead steakhouse in borgata but it was full. so we made the reservation here with no other choice and realize we made a big mistake stating with the front host. I advised them of my 6 pm reservation as soon as I received the text message stating that my table was ready. Standing there with my family, we see 4 tables being seated ahead of us. We wait some more and still ignored. At this time I had to talk to them. And they finally seated us in the very far corner of the restaurant. The servers were inattentive and food is so blend and poor quality. Everything was a poor experience and I hate myself for spending hundreds of dollars here especially with my entire family. Will never return here again and spread the word to all my friends and family to never patronage this joint.

Yelp
We had reservations for Xmas night. As soon as we walked in the hostess was a joy to deal with. After we were seated a gentleman came over and said he would be working with our waiter Frank. Frank was one class act. He answered any questions we had. I had the Pork Chop with sauce on side and wife had Chilean Seabass and we shared loaded bake potato. The meals were incredible. With ambience it's not to dark inside. Frank made it a very special Xmas. We will be returning in couple weeks and looking forward to it.

Yelp
So this is a bit of a hard review to write because I so wanted this steakhouse to be good. I brought 8 colleagues from work and it's been a while since we were all able to have a dinner together. The best way to start the review is to say, you can leave your taste buds at home. There is no reason to lug them through the casino and drag them around. We ordered the porterhouse for 2 and the ribeye fillet. The porterhouse lacked any discernible flavor. You knew you were eating meat but only by the look of it. The ribeye fillet was over cooked and came out Cold and chewy. It also had zero taste. The service was horrible, even though we were pretty much the only table left in the restaurant. We were ignored throughout the entire meal. "See picture". This place is an embarrassment and I cannot stress more that you will be very unhappy if you consume expensive flavorless meat here. Go down stairs to the food court and order a cheesesteak. At least you will taste something. "

Yelp
Service was top notch. Didn't wait on anything. Braised pork belly delicious. The delmonico was super tender and flavorful. The chipotle corn brûlée was crazy good. Overall great experience would def go back.
