Atmosphere and location: Amazing location, probably one of the best into Firenze, beautiful design and comfortable seats, a little too hot temperature in my opinion, I was sweating (even before the wine). NOTE: Lights were a little too high for the dark views out the big windows, I would’ve appreciate a softer lighting, also a background classic music, which I believe was there but barely high enough to be heard with the full restaurant. Service: Amazing service with a great care and attention to the client, very well trained and very knowledgeable employees. Congrats! NOTE: The restaurant is VERY fine dining, enough for the servers to know exactly what dish each person on the table needs to receive without asking. Tables should be cleaned from crumbs and such each course. Food: High quality ingredients put together in a fabulous way, very well prepared dishes with a great combination of flavor and texture. Compliments to the chef/s! OVERALL: Amazing and definitely recommended. Be aware of costs!! (High, but balanced) The guest service down in the main hall of the hotel and the Maitre/host of the restaurant should have a little better communication. Make a reservation at least a couple days in advance to be sure to have a table with the gorgeous view of the Cathedral. FIVE STARS WELL DESERVED.

We had a great evening at B-Roof. The service was warm and attentive from the moment we arrived. The food menu is on the smaller side, but everything is thoughtfully chosen. We ordered the salami board and it was absolutely delicious, high-quality ingredients, beautifully presented. The atmosphere is elegant and stylish without being pretentious. It has a luxurious feel, but it's relaxed and welcoming at the same time, perfect for a special evening that still feels comfortable. The real highlight, though, is the view. We had a 7:30 PM reservation and were seated at a table facing the Duomo. Watching the sunset from up there was unforgettable. Florence glows in golden light as the sun goes down, and as night falls, the city lights up beautifully. For the experience it offers, great service, quality food, and an unbeatable view, t’s surprisingly well-priced. Definitely worth it. Highly recommended. Just make sure to book in advance if you want that sunset view!

Dinner with a view at B-Roof was one to remember. We went with the steak menu, which was really nicely done — great flavours, perfectly cooked, and surprisingly good value for the setting. The view from the rooftop is absolutely stunning — panoramic sights over Florence, including the Duomo. Pair that with the chilled vibe and attentive service, and you've got a spot that's ideal for a relaxed but special evening out. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a memorable meal with a view in the city.

We first sat for drinks outside. The view area was closed but small terrace was open. Service was slow I think for the low season. But dinner was the game changer. Loved everything we ate. Good service. Nice vibe.

Visited B-roof with my husband. The panoramic views of Florence are breathtaking, the ambiance is romantic, and the staff were wonderfully welcoming. This made our Florence trip extra special!

The food and service are closely matched, and only barely beaten by the stunning view. Steak was cooked perfectly. The staff treated us like royalty. This is a restaurant that should be on everyone’s to do list when visiting Florence. My only regret in visiting B-Roof was eating too much gelato in the afternoon and not saving more room for the steak.

The staff was very friendly and respectful, the atmosphere luxurious, the food delicious. The view was unique.

Lovely drinks but main waiter said we should have booked in advance. The terrace was nearly empty on our mid week afternoon. It felt like a power play. Sad really as it’s a lovely spot. Worth going for the drinks tho’

Yelp
Today we decided to have a celebration lunch. We ended up at B-Roof Restaurant. This place has the most amazing view. Imagine having lunch or dinner overlooking Florence. Imagine having the option of being on a rooftop terrace that's lush and green where you can have the most memorable evening. No need to Imagine just go here. The place is one of the more expensive locations but it's so worth the view and if you are with your family or someone you are in love with then this location will surely seal the deal. This is a reservation only and it's located on the 5th floor of the Grand Hotel Baglioni. This trip I have been nowhere dressed like I generally and when walking in the guys at the desk looked at us funny but we walked in like we owned the place. The elevators are tiny and old and once you arrive on the 5th floor you see a fantastic bar on the left where you sit on couches till they call you as you are in awe of the view. We were then seated and our servers were amazing. We had Ina who was fabulous and loved her. We were loud but she had an amazing time. We also had Andrea who seemed to be a manager there and was fantastic. He had great attention to detail and wine recommendations. Later in the morning, Martina joined the party. The experience we had with these three was second to none. Our lunch was memorable and this has been the best service in Italy so far. The food was at a good price and while choosing a wine o ordered what I thought was a glass of wine for 30 euros then well a bottle came out. I was shocked that for such a fancy location you can get a bottle of wine for 30 to 60 euros. Most of the options were in that range. The food was fantastic and the view made it better. We enjoyed looking at Florence while eating then we went to their terrace and took some photos. The bathrooms were very clean and in comparison to everywhere we have eaten so far in Italy, they have had the cleanest bathrooms. We were a little sad that we were not able to get the chef's tasting menu since it was a dinner option only but when I return to Florence I will be sure to have dinner here and say hi to the amazing staff that made our day absolutely divine.

Yelp
Breathtaking views! We had a beautiful evening on the panoramic terrace at B Roof overlooking Florence and the Duomo. The restaurant is located on the fifth floor of the historic Grand Hotel Baglioni. We arrived a few minutes early and were greeted by friendly waiters. They asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. I initially hesitated since it had been hot that day. As I floundered in deciding, the waiter instinctively said "follow me, lets go outside." He led us through a courtyard, then up some stairs, and then to the left into another open courtyard. And there it was! The Duomo! My first words were, "Oh my God! It's beautiful!" It is breathtaking. Since we were the first ones to arrive, we were seated at the best table directly overlooking the beautiful city. The "American Bar" experience consists of drinks and individual gourmet pizzas, which are served on the roof top terrace during sunset hours. It was definitely an unforgettable experience. We lingered there for hours, watched the sunset, and marveled at the beauty of Florence, the Duomo, and the Tuscan region off in the distance. Luckily for us, there was a light breeze, which made it that much more pleasant. The food was good, the drinks were well made and the service was excellent! Don't miss this experience if you are in Florence. Reservations can be made online, and your choice of meal can also be selected. Get there a few minutes early to get the best table on the terrace.

Yelp
We were guest here at the hotel, you need a reservation to have dinner even if they are empty they will ask for a reservation. We weren't able to get in the first night, second night with a reservation we were quickly seated. We had the lamb and tbone course for two which came with dessert and starter. It was very delicious and food coma worthy. Part of our stay we had complimentary breakfast. Breakfast was okay, mainly more on the pastries side that's offered. The view for both breakfast and dinner were amazing

Yelp
Food was average at best. Overpriced and overhyped. It was just average. I had better Italian food in France.

Yelp
Holy crap. This place is so good. The view is unbelievable and the food/drinks were excellent. The servers were especially nice and they helped take nice photos for us. Would recommend those looking for a killer rooftop view of Florence (with the Duomo!) and great food for reasonable price.

Yelp
View is amazing. Great spot for a quick drink after dinner with great drinks and service. Book ahead, well frequented by the tourists and big groups. I can imagine the summer months makes it harder to get in. Worth the effort though.

Yelp
B Roof restaurant makes me nostalgic for meals that haven't even happened yet for 3 stunning reasons: * Breakfast with a view. * Drinks with a view. * Dinner with a view. See (literally), B Roof is not just a "room" with a view. It's a whole restaurant and bar that covers the entire top floor of the famous Grand Hotel Baglioni serving extraordinary indoor and outdoor panoramic views of historic Florence, Italy from a huge covered/uncovered patio, casual bar lounge, and elegant dining room. Plan time for selfies and pics, but also don't turn your nose up at drinks, dining, or breakfast at B Roof, either. Five-star service and 4-or-better-star food/drinks are bonuses worth the prices. The morning buffet (included in many room reservations) was pretty amazing ... especially since I rarely ever eat breakfast and almost never on vacation in a city full of fantastic food options like Florence. The fresh fruits, juices, pastries, and warm dishes were all more diverse than similar hotel offerings while nice additions like Prosecco and Prosciutto were tasty Italian ways to say Buongiorno to the next day of your adventure. The food was so good, I almost ... I said "almost" ... forgot about the views. Because of them, breakfasts at B Roof are proof that no matter the season, every day can begin beautifully.

Yelp
For a 4 star hotel in Florence the options were pedestrian while the service was inconsistent. Drinks were decent but could be more skillfully prepared, I needed to ask to have drinks stirred instead of the bartender building them in the glass. Only a few sandwich options to choose from for food which were okay but not what I think of when I dream about Florentine cuisine.

Yelp
An absolutely spectacular meal, completed by the best tiramisu in the world - not an exaggeration. To be frank, we were not sure the host was thrilled that we were at the restaurant, and the meat lovers in our group were very disappointed that steak was an off menu item that we were unaware of until after our orders had been given (we were told that is standard in a Tuscan restaurant but it seems to me that a hotel catering to visitors should have advised of the additional option, which appears to be the house specialty). That being said, our waiter was so exceptional that he more than made up for the shortcomings. He was attentive, kind, funny, and offered excellent wine recommendations. As for the entrées, every item in the prix fixe Classico Tuscan meal was genuinely exceptional. Veal cheek was the other favorite but tasting menus or steak seem to be the way to go. In the end, it was all about the tiramisu - absolute HEAVEN!!! Half of our group doesn't usually like tiramisu (this is a different interpretation - not typical) but we ended up ordering another because no one could get enough.

Yelp
If you're looking for a rooftop bar with some of the best views of Florence, look no further than the Grand Hotel Baglioni! Only a 5 minute walk from the train station. We didn't stay at the hotel but luckily, you don't need to be a guest to go up to the 5th-floor and take advantage of their rooftop bar - B Roof! Even though there was an event being held that night at the main bar, there was plenty of space for us to relax and take in the beautiful panoramic skyline of Florence. Perfection. Yelp
Been here 45min and still haven't received our drink order. On the bright side, they're giving me extra time to write this review. Here for happy hour and you'd think it's packed. Nope, only about six tables and three servers who meander by the tables unsure of what's happening. Nothing ruins a great view like horrible service.

Yelp
Simply wonderful! Amazing views, attentive waitstaff and mouth watering food. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Completely racist . If you're brown and especially if you wear a turban avoid these despicable racist jerks at all costs. From the moment we walked in to the hotel the guy on duty gave us a clear once over and said oh well I don't know if they have room for YOU. Mind you the rooftop bar was completely empty. We get up there start waiting and a party of several people more, a completely white other large party, and another couple are seated before anyone bothers with us. When we are finally seated after 20 Minutes when again they seated other parties (who walked in and also had no reservations) while we waited, no one bothers to to come take an order. They have the ability to take the orders of other parties seated near us and others that arrived after us, but we were completely ignored so we just left . These people should be utterly ashamed and be exposed for the absolutely horrid racists they are.

Yelp
Hit or miss. Great service when fully staffed. Other times we waited for our first server for 40 minutes after dinner reservation. At least we knew to order a drink before seating !! Happy hour summer tasting menu only 3 stars for food (undercooked chicken) but Yasmine was a 5 star server! She rescued us. Others just walked on by. So professional and gracious!. Breakfast may have been good but we only wanted a coffee and it ran out two mornings during our stay. The staff were attentive but appeared to suffer from insufficient number. Some bar staff seemed to be complaining or bickering coworkers. Perhaps poor management. There did not seem to be a competent choreographer. The Venue could do well under better management and staffing. Perhaps Yasmine would be worth a try. The views are spectacular! We will definitely stay at the hotel again.

Yelp
Ok, I have just gotten off the FrecciaRossa speed train from Rome, tired & hungry, check in to the Grand Hotel Baglioni and ask about the restaurant upstairs. Go upstairs to restaurant... the place has probably 25-35 tables( this is at around 7:30PM) all but one is empty which is a party of 6. There are windows all over with views of the city and the Duomo... where does the Host seat is? Why of course right next to the party of 6! Idiot! It only goes down hill from there... Given menus and it's in both Italian and English...good, except the only thing I recognize between pig intestines and beans with lamb shank is a steak and potatoes... so, I try to order the steak and ask for it to be medium-well... The host/waiter tells Me that he isn't sure if they can cook it that way? I said I need to make sure it's cooked that way because no matter what when I order medium(which is what I really like) I alway get the damn thing back still "mooing" then this Italian Ass tells me "Well, that's not the way the steak should be eaten"! I looked at him incredulous and said "Well, since I'm paying over $45.00€ for a fucking steak I want it cooked my way and I'll eat the fucking thing any Goddamn way I want, you arrogant ass!" Of course he looked at me incredulously(I doubt he understood me) as I picked up my coat and walked out!

Yelp
Superb views. The food is very good, although it's not terribly innovative and a bit too traditional. Service is attentive but also old-fashioned; could be a bit awkward at times: resisting to serve grated parmesan cheese with the (otherwise delectable) pastas to TWO tables (ignoring the motto "the customer is always king"); asking customers to pay cash and giving a lot of change back in €1 coins because the card machine is not working (instead of going to the hotel reception and use another machine). With such great views and a magnificent terrace, this space could be made much more joyful and welcoming. Instead, it is a bit too stern and solemn, like the rest of the GRAND Hotel Baglioni. Should empty the ashtrays more often. Pricey, but worth going for the views.

Yelp
Very very good ravioli, perhaps the best we had while in Italy. Somewhat expensive, but sharing meals made it much more affordable. Wine was expensive but recommendations were perfectly paired thanks to the advice of the staff. Aside from atop the dome you probably won't get a better view of Florence than on top of the Baglioni. Gian Luca was very kind to us as well.
