B-Side Coffee

Cool shop! Great equipment, and good menu. Lots of pastry options including those big pop tarts. Super nice staff. Beans were a little off, but they mentioned they are making some roaster changes soon so I think they know. Currently it's a bit of a dark roast and the shot was under extracted. Cool play area for kids and plenty of room to hang out.

Little Joy was fabulous as an event venue for a Sweet 16 party for 20+ teens we had last weekend. The space was perfect for our food and activities, and allowed for the creation of a really fun vibe. The owners were super generous, flexible, and helpful with the party. The baristas were super friendly and helpful and did a great job serving mocktails along with drinks from the usual menu. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Place! Grabbed an Iced Coffee and Pesto Chicken Sandwhich, both were delicious. Coffee is consistently good! Great place to study, plenty of space to sit and read or chat. Definitely a local favorite!

B-Side is a wonderful mom and pop owned coffee shop. They have a tasty drink menu, including creative seasonal drinks. They have pastries and other food to enjoy throughout the day. The atmosphere is really wonderful. During the week you can often find people working or studying. And on the weekends there is a good mix of families and friends enjoying time together. It’s certainly become an Elmwood gem!

Beautifully decorated and spacious, food is great, coffee is okay, matcha was kinda watery with no earthy taste to it what’s so ever despite of how bold green in color it was but I know some like it that way. This is the second time I’ve visited since they switched owners and both times I gave the baristas the benefit of the doubt but I just felt bitterness again. It’s wasteful to throw away perfectly nice cups that only got written on just because they didn’t ask what size I’d like and assumed. Even so I apologized for not being specific, and the attitude that followed is just weird. They didn’t correct the price after I mentioned the size down and I didn’t bring it up because they walked away. Makes it difficult to compensate both baristas with their tips.

This was already one of my favorite coffee shops and the new owners are just such awesome people! I personally can't wait to see them continue to put their own stamp on this place. The coffee is delicious, the staff is lovely, and everything on the menu is solid. (The Kennedy iced and the Gouda sandwich are personal faves if you're looking for a rec.) I've already watched Little Joy put so much thought and care into the smallest details as they pour a little bit of love and a lot of their own elbow grease into this next chapter. Definitely a spot to visit to work, to catch up with friends, or for playdates!

B-Side is SO good for so many different reasons. The vibe, the baristas, the community and obviously the coffee are all aspects of B-Side that keep us coming back! If I could give them a million stars I’d do it gurl. B-Side ily <3

The place itself is super cute. The decor is relaxing and there's plenty of seating which is always appreciated. There's a children's area that is definitely beneficial for anyone who needs a break while still needing to keep an eye on the little ones. The service was very good too. However, the drinks were not my favorite. I tried 3 different ones and they were alright. I do have to go back and try the pastries, that might allow me to raise the rating.

Love the whole vibe, service very good coffee and pesto chicken sandwich tasty! Good atmosphere to read, study , work and bring the kids. I also just started bringing swap books ( high quality) by now and then. Please support the coffee shops of Oak Cliff

We stopped in this past Sunday for the first time. This is a very cute coffee shop with a chill vibe. Nice decor, good music. Barista was okay, very what do you want nothing more nothing less. There was a gentleman who came from the back that was very welcoming. The menu is pretty big with great options! We decided on the fall menu. My husband and I had the Pumpkin Chai hot. I wasn't a fan of it but it wasn't terrible. It was strong on something, maybe a little bit too much on the spice? It almost had a sour aftertaste to it. I couldn't get that nice pumpkin chai flavor I was looking for. I will be back to try the coffee.

I looove this new Bishop Arts adjacent coffee house. Beautiful decor, lots of plants, an extensive menu of specialty lattes. Add in a variety of cozy seats spread over two rooms, again with a dark academia vibe and you're really starting to achieve coffee shop perfection. The baristas were laid back and friendly. They even have a kids play area in the back set up like a play coffee shop with toy croissants. So cute!

Such a wonderful addition to Oak Cliff and Elmwood! I love being able to walk to get a coffee. And it always tastes great! I love to get the seasonal lattes, they're so fun. My favorite has been the Little Debbie Christmas Tree latte. The baked goods are divine. The staff is so nice. If you have little kids, this is the place to hang out. And it's still nice for people try to work too.

Their cold brew was very delicious. Their empanada was also full of flavor. Easy to park and cute chill vibes! 10/10 def recommend

This is nice coffee shop tucked away in Oak Cliff. The inside is much larger than expected from the outside. There are two lounge areas with places for people to work or just be... Ther barista was nice and helped to recommend some of their mose popular items. We got the Smoked Gouda Croissant and the Southwest Chicken Salad Croissant, both came with chips. Both sandwiches were great in very different ways. The Smoked Gouda had a spicy and sweet flavor that worked so well! Great experience!

This brand new coffee shop in Elmwood is amazing. Its a little off the beaten path which makes the location great. You walk inside and it feels so chill and relaxed. The atmosphere and decor is so vibe-y. I feel like it ls the living room i want. I could chill here all day. The drink menu is simple but they can craft whatever you want and have some specialty ones as well. The folks working here are super friendly and patient. The pastries are from a couple local spots and are delish and unique. Pastries are from bisous bisous and another spot. I will definitely be back! So glad to have found this new gem!

A hidden gem near Bishop Arts. The owner personally welcomes guests and the chai is amazing, and cheaper than the subpar version at Starbucks. The communal workspace table is my favorite and all patrons are friendly and eager to embrace new conversation. Needless to say I will be frequenting this homey atmosphere!

This is my absolute favorite coffee shop in Dallas! The coffee is always delicious, their pastries and sandwiches are yummy and the owners and staff are so wonderful! Not to mention the beautiful atmosphere - a perfect vibe. Also they spotlight the artwork of local artists each month and host neighborhood events. I'm not sure how a place could be any better!

Great service, yummy pastries and tacos! I love the cold brew here at Bside! I've come here a couple of times to get some work done. It's the perfect atmosphere. They have several tables as you walk in and a whole other section with a long table, sofa's, chairs and even a play area. They host book reading events on Saturdays for the kids. It's a great addition to the neighborhood! They update daily on their Instagram.

A really great addition to a neighborhood that has locked a lot and been dry of coffee, shops and places to sit and enjoy your neighborhood. The coffee here was super delicious but absolutely go when you are hungry and check out the spicy chicken salad sandwich croissant because that was insanely delicious! It's a bit pricey for other coffee shops in the area though - $18 for a croissant sandwich and coffee but it was worth it!

Love this place! Any time I'm in Oak Cliff, I make sure and stop by for my coffee fix. I love how moody the decor is and how it's very kid-toddler friendly! Perfect way to catch a quick mom break .

So glad we tried this place out! The atmosphere was great. I was recommended the blueberry latte & it did not disappoint. There wasn't much food available at the time we visited, but hopefully will be better stocked on the next visit.

My family and I absolutely adore this hidden gem. Fantastic brew and plenty of room for your kids to play and, more importantly, for them to meet play friends! We've met a handful of families here by happenstance and formed some new friendships. Go for the coffee, stay for the small town vibe!

This is the absolute best latte I have ever had! I had "The Mayor" (hot w/almond milk). The ambience was perfect! The music was very chill, not too loud. There is an area for the kiddos also. It is a nice, relaxing spot to enjoy coffee alone or with friends. They also have vegetarian breakfast tacos and pastries. The price is great and the staff is very friendly. I wish they had a location in Addison, but I will definitely stop here every time I'm in the area. I love it!!

The pop tarts and croissant breakfast sandwiches are delicious! The coffee is a little strong for me but most people like that about their coffee. There is a small play area for kids which kept my littles busy while I sat and ate and chatted. Can't wait to go back.

Good coffee with lots of syrup options. A bit pricey for the area though. I'd go more often if the prices were lower.

First time in for a private event in the evening for a cake decorating class. Very warm decor, cute and inviting. Whitney welcomed me in and asked right away if I wanted anything to drink and I was so grateful as I didn't have time to stop for anything on my way in. She had all types of regular and speciality coffees and teas and was even offering a cake batter coffee as we there for a cake decorating event. I chose a plain hot Americano and it was PERFECT! Sometimes simple is best! Everyone else in the class loved their drinks as well. She was such a lovely host and I would definitely visit again!

I'm completely hooked on B-Side! How could I not be? Their coffee is superb (those beans are ), the pastries are top-notch, and the chicken salad is to die for. I randomly dropped in one day and haven't looked back since. Huge shoutout for the amazing service, delightful chats, and for creating such a welcoming 'community center' vibe.

I have tried many things on the menu, the best coffee in the area! Always packed, good vibes, and friendly employees.

Excellent coffee, very modern and comfortable seating, good wi-fi, not overly crowded. The croissants are excellent and fresh.

I wish them a very successful business. I would give them a 6 star if I could. The owner was so nice, and the food and coffee was out of this world. I definitely would recommend to come on out and try them.
