"With more than 250 records in its permanent rotation, Neighborhood Restaurant Group’s Merrifield vinyl bar has been spinning records for more than a decade. Dempsey Hamilton, owner of Mobius Records in Fairfax, steps in to keep the collection fresh and fun, and constantly clues the staff in on cool offerings — new and old — that come into his shop. The chill soundtrack is the perfect complement to the restaurant’s renowned Red Apron burger and expertly made cocktails." - Claudia Rosenbaum, Tierney Plumb

"B Side is one of the best destinations for drinking in this corner of Virginia, a place where beer lovers, wine drinkers, and cocktail aficionados can all find something to order. It’s fine to get a drink off-menu from one of the engaging bartenders, but B Side’s narrow cocktail menu always lists a few interesting choices. The bar is tiny, so expect to wait for a seat during peak hours (there are a few patio seats). Drinkers can snack on options like charcuterie, but hungrier diners can go for something more substantial on the meaty dinner menu. B Side shares the space with sandwich and butcher shop, Red Apron." - Missy Frederick

Google
The beef fat fries are my absolute favorite. I like that their libations menu changes - the drink names are creative too. The tables are too close together which is understandable in a small space, but can feel very cramped when busy. A chill spot to visit in Mosaic.

Google
An advocate for local fresh meat, a casual watering hole for local residents that are in the know, local limited butcher counter, and a very respectable bar with a unparalleled adult beverage menu designed for a huge customer capacity the B side current space is too small for. For all its uniqueness, the meat, salad, and food entree selection can be rather expensive compared to restaurants outside the walking-distance neighborhood. The pork chops and burger were underwhelming. The cocktail and beer selection is a delight especially given the competition in the area. The dessert menu has room for improvement. The beef fat and regular fries are the most memorable food selections I would return for. So the ratings is 4-stars but the price is really driving my decision to drop a star since the cost is just really high for my taste and what I can find for the same similar food entrees.

Google
At first I was intimidated by how unique the menu was, but this food was incredible. I ordered the birria ramen and it was fantastic. Also ordered the smash burger and my husband really enjoyed it. The beef fat fries are so crispy and delicious. the beer menu is extensive and great as well. Highly recommend a visit.

Google
We visited this place a while back and enjoyed the food. The burger was particularly juicy and tasty. The cocktails were also delicious, and overall, we left feeling satisfied. We plan on returning soon to try the burger again.

Google
Service was interesting— great people, great attitudes, but they messed up our order 3 times and messed up the table next to ours. However, the food was so perfect, and we didn’t care. I loved the blistered brussel sprouts, the smash burger was perfect, the beef fat fries were amazing, the sauces were good, steak was good, the challah French toast was okay— the Mother’s Day special cocktail was good, the double IPA was perfect. The staff were friendly and one guy gave my toddler a high five. It was a pleasant experience overall and we would come back again.

Nice place, good atmosphere. Food was OK. I was expecting more from my spice bag!! Liked their fries.

Google
Visited this past weekend and had a good experience overall! Claire was a great server and treated us well. They were out of some of the main mixers for their popular Dia De Los Muertos cocktail which was a bummer, but I enjoyed the Love Street cocktail. They have a TON of beer/wine/cider options as well! The only negatives were the music was a bit too loud and the food (even appetizers) were pricey.

Google
Always a pleasure to eat here. Best burger in the area..outstanding food quality all around. My family loves the beef and blue, Italian, steak and cheese, chorizo burger, and the poutine. Sad to see Red apron go but the meat and food quality is the same. Great booze list and rotating draft list that is priced extremely well. We love the music selection and kid friendly staff.

Yelp
Came here for the burger and always leave well pleased. Coming in at $20 for a burger and fries is not cheap, but also probably what the average is at a nice restaurant these days. Love, love, love the fact that they use beef tallow / fat to fry their french fries, and the gluten-free bun is probably one of the better gluten-free buns in the area. The few times I've gone have been on slower days for lunch and dinner, and I've never had any issues with slow service or poor service. The waiters are always very accommodating (especially when it comes to our allergen requests), and the food and check comes in a timely manner. Generally don't prefer the super dark ambiance in there, but it works well for evening dates I suppose. My toddler loves their fires so much that we'll sometimes just stop by for just a bowl/serving of their beef fat fries as a snack. And that's it! Ultimately, a solid place if you're just looking to grab a burger and a drink. Not too sure about any of their other entrees, but we did have their brussel sprouts as well and that was pretty good (nothing out of this world, but still good).

Yelp
So admittedly we used to like B Side, but we haven't been in several years (we live like 25 minutes away and don't make it out to Mosaic often). The service was kind of meh and everything took awhile, but whatever. It wasn't so bad that I would leave a review on that basis alone. What was pretty forgettable was the food, which we were surprised by. The wings were okay I guess, but lacking flavor and worse than standard wings from a regular bar. The ramen (which was recommended by a staff member) was bland and probably in the bottom tier of ramen I've had (although I don't order ramen all the time or anything). The smashburger was also just kind of fine. I thought the drinks were pretty good, although my partner disagreed. I don't know if this was just a really off night or what, but it was disappointing and not the type of experience we remembered having there in the past.

Alesia S.

Yelp
Came into grab some food before going to a movie. Sat at the bar and was provided menus and water promptly. I ordered the smashburger and a cocktail. Both were delicious. My level of service did taper off date to received my food. The space was a no frills bar.

James H.

Yelp
Nice and cozy restaurant. If you decide you want to try it out be sure to make a reservation as it's quite small. The cocktail and food menu have excellent options. Service was friendly and efficient. The food was great and the presentation was awesome. Lovely restaurant in a nice neighborhood.

Patrick M.

Yelp
We visited this place a while back and enjoyed the food. The burger was particularly juicy and tasty. The cocktails were also delicious, and overall, we left feeling satisfied. We plan on returning soon to try the burger again.

Yelp
We came for brunch on Sunday afternoon and shocked that no one was here. The restaurant reminds me of trendy restaurants in hipster neighborhood in San Francisco or San Diego. Amazing food! Chicken & waffles and duck confit were delicious. Kids had the French toast. They dug into them so quickly without a chance for pictures. Excellent service. No complaints here!

Deirdre G.

Yelp
The existing reviews are pretty spot on for what you can expect at B-side. We decided to stop in on a Sunday afternoon and there was no need for a reservation however, around 7 PM it did start to fill up. The service was somewhat lackluster in that nobody greeted us, or even handed us a menu for several minutes after sitting at the bar. It wasn't actually even clear if there was a reservation system being honored because there was nobody at the door, and nobody was speaking to any patrons as they entered. There were only two staff people working, but the lady at the bar was doing everything but helping or speaking the guests. Nonetheless, we were able to eventually place our orders and opted for the burgers, as that is what everyone says that B-side is known for! And they were right! The burger was absolutely delicious and the fries were a very different but tasty treat. I'm a huge fan of garlic, so the fries were absolutely wonderful! The burger itself was rather large because it is a double patty but again the flavor was delicious and you could tell that it was really quality beef. The only recommendation I would have is that they take a little bit of the lettuce off. Overall, the quality of the food makes B-side worth the visit! It also has a really cozy ambience that makes it a great place to meet up with friends and have a drink or even solo dine. While the service could be improved, I will definitely stop in again for the delicious food and to try one of their cocktails (I heard many whispers that the drinks were good!).

Yelp
Came here on a Thursday evening with a group, and made reservations in advance. The interior resembles a speakeasy with an intimate design. We ordered the Brussels sprouts and beef fat fries for appetizers, both of which were delicious. The Brussels sprouts were a bit spicy and over salted. The brisket bowl was delicious, and the meat was thinly sliced and fried, with a melt in your mouth texture.

Dan R.

Yelp
Yeap NEVER going back....Menu said 11 gin. Charged 13 cause tonic in a shit drink is $2 more. And the bathrooms are shit holes AND THEY DIDN'T HAVE RAMIN NODDLES THAT ARE ON THE MENU. WTF BRO SMH... who the fuck buys gin only... why wasn't i charged for the limes too???? 90$ before tip for 3 bowlsof lettuce and 4 drinks...sorry examples of what not todo" Best of luck.

Becca H.

Yelp
Cool little spot in Fairfax. Nice selection of beer, but I feel it's overpriced. What happened to $5-6 happy Hour beers? Everything here is closer to $10 a beer. They also have liquor if you're into that. The food is awesome but portions felt a little small. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable Overall it's a solid spot.

Raven T.

Yelp
My favorite part about this restaurant was the selections of beer. It was so many to choose from. The salad wasn't much to it. I came here for the salad cause I started to order it on door dash and I was like let me go try this place out. I just wanted a good salad. It was okay. The ambiance was nice and chill. Its a nice place to go grab a beer

Katie H.

Yelp
The saving grace was good drinks by the bartender. They tasted great and were creative. A woman ordered a burger and fries at the same time I just ordered a side of fries to go. She received her meal, finished it entirely, paid, and left before I received my French fries... we were waiting about 30 minutes for French fries while there were only a handful of patrons mostly just having drinks. I hate to make a stink about something so small but It would have seemed fine had the woman near us not entered after we did, ordered when we did, and we were still waiting for the fries for about 10+ minutes even after she finished a full meal and left. Edit: got home to find there were so little fries for such a wait time. Cold and soggy (and I live only about a mile away, so it was barely much of a drive.)

Jimmy L.

Yelp
The music here is awesome. It is called B Side, because they play mostly music from the B Side of albums. We came here for a friends outing and had chicken. It was a bit undercooked, so we sent it back. Other than that, the food was pretty good. The mocktails were good too.

Brittany Anne O.

Yelp
Stopped by for brunch over the weekend and had a really delicious meal with top notch service. The ambiance inside the restaurant was welcoming but muted - nothing too over the top or flashy. Our server was friendly, attentive and even complimented the jersey I was wearing (extra brownie points for that!) I ordered the chicken and waffles - it was fantastic. The chicken breast was pounded thin and deep fried to crispy perfection. It was topped with a spicy honey and served over a warm waffle with maple syrup on the side. My meal was piping hot and super flavorful. The only thing I found disappointing was that the only coffee option for brunch was a carafe of French press. It meant that we were served a large amount of coffee - you couldn't order just one cup, and the brew was really weak. The coffee itself was tasty, but I would have preferred just a cup for myself and a stronger brew.

Yelp
Farm to Table "comfort" fare, drink options are plentiful, and dining ambience relaxing and casual! Very friendly table servers, and food is served hot and expeditiously from the kitchen (on a Thurs nite). Their craft beer list is expansive, and plenty of wines plus full bar. Located slightly off the central area of the District, find EZ parking and a nice experience if this is your kinda place. Patio seating available weather permitting. Overall, 4.25+ experience for me. Expect to pay $15-20pp for entrees, $5-15 for shareable apps, plus your drinks. Tonight we ordered Smoked Pimento Cheese with Crostini and honey, a DELICIOUS house made starter. Also tried the tasty Bacon wrapped Stuffed Dates, 3 per order. For dinner, the Bacon Meatloaf with Garlic Mashed and Spinach was excellent and filling. And the Green Chile Mac-n-Cheese was yummy, so cheesy and creamy, great to share as a side! The Fried Chicken Sandwich was also delicious, freshly prepared and served with fries. You won't go wrong if "comfort" food is your calling! Cheers, ENJOY!

Yelp
Came here for dinner tonight and got the confit tomatoes, they were amazing. Our server was funny and personable and always made sure we had everything we needed. Can't wait to come back

Yelp
Driving around with the wife looking for a new place to try for dinner and we happened upon B side, next to Red Apron. B side is a clean, dark, bar that serves some great dishes. The menu did not have lots of food choices- but we found a few items to consider. The wife settled on a patty melt made of 2 grilled cheese sandwiches with the party melt between them. I ordered the smash burger. Both entrees came with fries fried in what our waitress said was beef fat. Although there were several couples in the restaurant, the food arrived quickly, well presented and was hot. I loved the grilled bun and the flavors of the house made thin pickles and onions of the smash burger and the over all flavor and presentation of the patty melt. One star, if not a half star off because wifey didn't like the fries. Our waitress was new but she was bubbly and pretty well informed about the menu. I will definitely come back.

Alea V.

Yelp
Really enjoy coming here on the weekend. They have rotating cocktails based on the season and change up their appetizers, so I always have something new to try. Beef fat fries are always a must. They've changed the recipe and made them more crispy (yum). My husband and I like to order different things and split them, so I had half a chicken sandwich and half a smash burger. They were both really good, but there was more flavor in the chicken sandwich. For my cocktail I had Love Street which tasted like a sweet basil. My husband had the vanilla Manhattan which tastes exactly like it sounds lol.

Richard L.

Yelp
Went to B side when it opened on Saturday for brunch/lunch. The place was relatively empty but understandable given the decor and menu seemed to give it more of a happy hour/dinner vibe. That being said, the space was clean and nicely decorated and the service was immaculate (maybe because we were like 1 of 2 tables). That being said the food was still very delicious. We got the fried brussel sprouts and the beef fat fries. Not much to say about brussel sprouts, they're fine. The fries though were very good. Very nicely crisped on the outside and soft and hot in the inside. Honestly not sure if it's the beef fat or the fryer but man they were good. The entrees were decent. The duck confit is in the sandwich section of the menu but was a plate instead. Honestly preferred it as a plate over a potential sandwich. The flavor was good and I'd probably get it again. The chix sandwich was pretty meh. Not bad but there are better chicken sandwiches in the area. I'd only get it if you were really craving one, it'll satisfy the craving but won't go too much further than that.

Ken C.

Yelp
It was a very chill place, I like it. Our bartenders were awesome. The beef fat fires and the brussel sprouts are the best bar food. As other stated there are some good beers selection. I was there around 5pm and it was kind of quiet and not much traffic. But this place pack very quickly before dinner time. I like the vibe and internal decor. You can find parking across the street and easy to access from all direction.

Yelp
The wife and I were craving burgers so we headed to B-Side despite a so-so last experience - and I am pleased to say this time was a vast improvement! We had a great time. We went for a Sunday brunch a bit later in the afternoon. The restaurant was mostly empty, and we were seated immediately - we requested outside since it was a beautiful day. The staff was friendly and service was fast and attentive. I got their classic burger with fries, which comes with two patties and island sauce. The burger was very tasty and so big that I wound up eating it with a knife and fork. The included fries were also very good, but a touch too salty for me - I will request dialed-down salt in the future. I added two dipping sauces - hot mustard and steak sauce. While I wasn't a fan of either, my wife loves a good sauce and really enjoyed them. I think I'm just picky about my sauces and prefer A1, but I bet I'm alone on that as people love their sauces here. For her main, my wife got the breakfast burrito and was also a fan. There were fries inside! B-side is known for playing through entire albums on vinyl, and this time the selection was Metallica's Master of Puppets. I had never heard this album the whole way through, so major kudos to getting me hooked on a few deeper cuts I didn't have in my rotation. We kept drinks simple this time, my wife got a craft beer that she really liked and I got a skin-contact orange wine which was great, though it had a bit of sediment at the bottom of the glass. All in all, B-Side is a welcome addition to the Mosaic lineup, and we will be back sooner than later.

Christina V.

Yelp
Had a great time at B side. Went during their happy hour and they had a great selection of items for everyone! We both got drinks (a white wine and a beer), shared the brussel sprouts, arugula salad, and burger! It was all so amazing. I'm really impressed by the brussel sprouts and the salad. I'm not really a fan of arugula but I would totally come back just for that.

Leah K.

Yelp
Always a great time at B Side! Started coming here several years ago and it has just gotten better over the years. Amazing spot for great cocktails and food! Definitely stop by this spot which is conveniently located in the mosaic area. Parking is accessible close by and outdoor seating is available too!

Maya F.

Yelp
Great cocktails and ambience. My boyfriend and I frequent this place and pretty much order the same thing every time. Beef fat fries and the smash burger. Everything is consistently delicious! Service is laid back. All in all a great establishment.

Jill V.

Yelp
We love B side! The service is great there. They have a great brunch and the bar stays open late!

Chandler D.

Yelp
This is a great little spot in the Mosaic. We decided to try a new spot out for date night and landed here and what a win it was for us! We sat at the bar and had amazing service by the wait staff and bartenders!! Food and drinks here are AMAZING!! Will definitely be back here

Lannie H.

Yelp
Amazing food. This place would be overlooked for its simple outside appearance and seemingly small location. It's a bit off the beaten path but so worth the trip. We ate at the bar and loved every recommendation that the bartender suggested

Brittany S.

Yelp
First time dining here the brunch menu has some really nice options every though there was one server there she did an absolutely great job! We had Smoked salmon toast chicken & Waffles And Carmel French toast 1 French press with baileys on the side

Dana K.

Yelp
Amazing service! I have an onion allergy (which is damn hard to deal with for most places) and they went to great lengths to ensure I could enjoy my meal and not worry. Fun atmosphere and we sat outside on a beautiful night and got to people watch. The Manager, Sebastian was very attentive and came out ensured my food didn't aggravate my allergy. to the beef tallow fries. Paige, our Server, ran back and forth with all my menu questions regarding my allergies like it was a new hobby! Great Server, I'd suggest asking for her when you go, I know I will the next time I come and it will be soon!!

Megan K.

Yelp
I would've loved to give this restaurant a higher rating, but doing so would be an absolute lie. I ordered the Fried Chicken sandwich to-go and I wasn't impressed at at. The size of the sandwich is decent but the chicken patty itself is miserable. The majority of the patty was just breading and the chicken ratio was abysmal. For $23 you would think the sandwich would be good considering the steep price point, but needless to say I was very underwhelmed. This is also considering the fact the meal doesn't come with fries or a side either. I'm sure there are plenty of more worthwhile and monetarily friendly options at B-Side, their chicken sandwich however is not. If you're looking for a good Fried Chicken sandwich, I'd reckon Chic-fil-A would be better. Overall, I won't be dining with B-Side any time soon.

Jonathan L.

Yelp
Oscar, Richard & Landon are some of the best people to see @ B Side. You can come here and have a custom cocktail made and put on the menu if you play your cards right! Pineapple Princess.

Liz F.

Yelp
Great food, drinks, and ambiance. Love brunch and happy hour. Always great to check in regularly to see what's new on the menu.

James P.

Yelp
I stopped in for dinner while on travel to the DC area. I had the brisket bowl with sticky rice, red onion, spicy BBQ, radish, and a bacon fat cooked egg. I left off the pickle. The service was fast, friendly, and the food tasted excellent. The portion was perfect. It cost $20. I had it with a dark Augur Porter. I would recommend anyone in the area check this place out. It's worth the stop.

Sahithi K.

Yelp
Too expensive for the portions Happy hour deals can be better for both drinks and food Good service did ambience however

Patrick L.

Yelp
I love this place. Small and great for date night or small group of friends. The staff is friendly and responsive. It's a comfy neighborhood eatery. The food is incredible. Easily the best smash burger around seasoned perfectly. The duck confit was off the charts with just a hint of spicy heat. The fries bring you back to days when vegetable oil wasn't used. It's reasonably priced and we just liked the vibe. We will be back to try the other food items.

Calista C.

Yelp
I love the B Side because they play really really good music, not typical pop music. The eclectic cocktails are something else. It's small and cozy. It's not a sports bar which is great as they are on every corner. The food is definitely delicious.

Kevin O.

Yelp
I've been twice and I wanted to like it more. The goods: The beef fat fries are fantastic. the cocktail are cook if small and expensive The bad: the service is terrible. The first time there the waitress was scattered, messed up our order, then literally left the building after she dropped off our bill. We had to find someone else to cash us out. The second time the bartender was a straight up dick to us for no reason. He seemed pissed at us for order things off the beer menu that they apparently didn't have in stock. Crazy idea, update your menu.

Stephanie B.

Yelp
My husband and I booked a reservation here for Mother's Day. We showed up with our four-year old daughter and were escorted to a hightop table with back-less stools. I felt fairly certain I'd noted we'd have a small child with us when I mad the reservation. Regardless, the seating was obviously unsuitable for our kid and we said as much. We were met with shrugs by the wait staff. We searched for another restaurant. But, of course, every other place was booked. So, we went back and they pushed together two tables for us. I'm not sure why that wasn't presented as an option before. Any attempt to provide options earlier would have been appreciated. I was baffled by the experience. The food was good and the service was otherwise pleasant. By the earlier encounter kind of soured us on the restaurant.

Megan M.

Yelp
Invigorating menu and drinks. Service is always great and is tucked away enough so it's usually not too crowded. Love the southern theme and can't wait to go back.

Barbara M.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting and it was good overall. Server, Danny, was very nice. The on the sandwich there is iceberg lettuce, smh (no other lettuce is available). However, I was able to add a fried egg to my B Side smash burger and it was really good. Didn't give 5 stars due to the lack of healthier options on the menu and the unexpected 1.5% admin fee on the bill.

Derek C.

Yelp
Agree with a previous poster that this place is the hidden gem of Mosaic; I've eaten at most of the places in Mosaic and decided to try B Side for the first time recently and it was excellent! B Side is attached to the Red Apron shop, there is a pretty large bar space and then maybe 5-6 tables inside. Our visit's service and food were both great and the ambience of the restaurant is perfect for a date night. We had a couple team members help us throughout the night and everyone was awesome to deal with and very helpful. Everything on the menu is also very fairly priced. We had the watermelon froze and a glass of wine which were both excellent. Froze was excellent on a hot day and extremely refreshing. For food we had the smashed cucumber salad, B side burger, and the wagyu pastrami bowl. The smashed cucumber salad included Calabrian chilis and whipped feta, was a decent dish and fresh, but probably wouldn't order again. Our two entrees the burger and the wagyu pastrami bowl were both excellent. The wagyu pastrami bowl included lots of tender, melt in your mouth pastrami and was complemented by sticky rice, a coddled egg, and some pickled veggies which were a great combo. The burger and fries were awesome; burger was cooked perfectly with a nice crust, but also juicy inside and the fries are definitely worth writing home about. Will definitely be back!

Jane C.

Yelp
Update to this review because the Owner's response insinuated and painted a different story and I am not going to engage in an obvious revision of the events as they occurred: The bartender only acknowledged me AFTER I had been standing there for a good while. The reason I left after the bartender said I would be seated shortly was due to the EVEN further wait time I experienced after being so-called "acknowledged". I didn't leave shortly after I was acknowledged. I left because I was ignored for a long while, told to then wait, and ended up waiting again for too long. Frankly, it's quite telling in the Owner's response that the reputation of the business comes before a potential customer's uncomfortable experience. It is clear which of the two this establishment prioritizes. Why don't you all have an internal discussion as to why a customer was left standing in front of the house, no acknowledgement whatsoever, instead of concerning yourself with PR and optics? What sort of internal bias prevented the regular service other customers would receive, but was not offered to a solo, female patron? Mind you, the bar staff was all male. Do that and the concern would then actually seem sincere.

Marissa D.

Yelp
Had an incredible date night here! The cocktails are off the chain and named mostly after obscure tunes. I got the Sadnecessary ft. whipped egg whites, tasty gin, orange zest--it ruled! As for the food, say it with me now: Rotissifried. (No really, try saying it!) we got the amazing rotissifried chicken with a tangy spicy honey sauce. We also got the cauliflower with almond hummus (!!) and the beets. Everything was so good! As for the atmosphere, it's the kind of place you could bring your Tindr date (as the couple next to us obviously, cringe-ily was) or your three toddlers! Both will do at B side. Let your freak flag fly and hidden tracks play, y'all. Darkest bar in mosaic!

S M.

Yelp
Wow. Wild that this place is so dead for Sunday brunch. Brunch was delicious. We tried maybe 7 dishes. All great. Beet salad was a standout dish. Spinach salad was also great. Nice atmosphere. Relaxed. Great service.

Josh C.

Yelp
B Side is a solid choice for a nice sit down dinner and some drinks. The interior is nice and comfortable although the table tops are somewhat crowded. I started with the cornbread which was nice and sweet and soft. It came with a hot sauce butter which I didn't think was the best choice and decided to eat the cornbread without it which was delicious. For the entree I went with the Wagyu Brisket Bowl. The Wagyu was delicious and tender and they gave a solid portion. All of the veggies, rice, and egg were perfectly cooked with great flavors and worked really well together. My only recommendation would be to fix the ratio of the meal. This is one of the rare times I found I got enough of the protein and not enough of the rice and veggies. I know that likely differs to everyone's individual taste, but I would like just a bit more from the bowl. As for dessert, I tried the Ricotta Doughnuts. They were mostly underwhelming. There wasn't much of any particular taste to them other than a bit of honey and powdered sugar on parts of the doughnuts. The texture of the inside of the doughnut was nice and soft, but the outside became too crusted. I wouldn't recommend this option if you're looking for a dessert after your meal. Overall I would recommend B Side as they have a solid menu with some interesting choices to try out.

I came here on a Saturday afternoon with my friend. 1) the food was not impressive at all. They literally had 10 items on the menu with not much selection at all. My veggie burger was meh! We got beef fries and it was too greasy. 2) we went down the mixed drink list and got most of it. They were all decent. 3) our first server was not that friendly and not efficient at all. Halfway through, we got a different server who was nice and kept checking in on us which was nice because we needed to reorder drinks anyways. 4) space is not really designed for family environment at all especially with small children/babies. Space between each table is crowded and the ambiance inside is dark.

Yelp
I went with. coworkers for lunch; we all got sandwiches and shared the beef fat fries. I ordered the hot pastrami sandwich and really enjoyed. My coworkers also liked their selections. You can tell the quality of the meats is superb. They mention in detail how they source their meats on the menu--locally sourced, grass fed, etc. These sandwiches are very "hearty", so come hungry! I'll definitely come back for lunch and try their dinner menu as well. I took one star off because of relatively slow service-- we were the only table occupied, yet received our orders 20 min later.

Yelp
I am obsessed with their charcuterie boards and the delicious bread that comes with it (huge carb lover over here). They have such a huge selection of meats and cheeses and it can be a bit overwhelming but the servers have always been so helpful and great with offering recommendations. Highly recommend making reservations as the space is small and it has always been packed when I have gone for dinner or HH. There is a covered parking garage directly in front but make sure to park in the upper levels so you don't get towed/ticketed.

Yelp
I stopped in here for brunch the other day to see one of my favorite bartenders. Hibah suggested B Side's Breakfast Burger, a sausage gut buster loaded with an ooey gooey fried egg.. yum! It was a bit messy, but when you're taking a trip down flavor town, such minor details really aren't that important. Hibah set me up with a Pilsner, which went paired very well with my hearty repast. During my meal, I scanned B Side's menu and saw some pretty sweet BBQ selections that I must try on my next visit B Side's decor is edgy and cool, but a little dark, and I imagine that it rocks the happy hour and late night. However, brunch was still a pretty crowded affair, but a fact that simply goes to the yumminess of B Side's menu. Yup, this place certainly deserves a happy hour visit, but for now, brunch is pretty cool
