Had an amazing time here on Friday. Our server Rocky was absolutely 💯 amazing. We took all of her recommendations and she was spot on. Drinks were nice and strong, food was presented absolutely beautiful, and taste was superb. The icing on the cake was the excellent servi e from Rocky.

I visited on a Friday a for lunch. I made reservations and paid a $25 deposit. Be careful with this because the fee was not deducted from my bill as stated. By the time I remembered I had already swiped my card. When I told the server she said let me call "her" and see. She then showed me a screen that said return deposit and said I'd receive an email. I haven't as of 5 hours later. Also be aware that the gratuity is automatically added. My server conveniently left this out while going over my items before I paid. I ignorantly tipped another 20%. The place is smaller than i thought. It seemed cramped. The music was nice. We ordered a lavender mocktail, blueberry lemon drop and two waters to start. The glass sizes are small! Including the water!! We needed several water refills due to the small cups. For appetizers we had salmon bites and seafood dip. Both were pretty good. The seafood dip had a nice flavor but the temperature was lukewarm. It would've been amazing if it was hot! For entrees we had the lobster and grits w/ crawfish cream sauce and the Snapper with rice and crawfish cream sauce. The crawfish cream was good, I didn't care for the lobster or snapper. They both had a fishy taste and could've used more seasoning.

I honestly don’t think I will be going back. The food was very good, I ordered the oxtails and grits, which is something I’ve never had before. However, I didn’t like that we had to scan a QR code to get the menu. And you have too CAREFULLY READ through the menu!! I guess because of how the menu is laid out, it is easy to confuse prices and accidentally order something pricier than expected. And when these things happen the kitchen doesn’t like to take food back or off your bill. Also the bill was another surprise with an additional 20% added to the bill as a “service fee”. That was something we should’ve been told about before dining. If it was stated on the menu I didn’t see it. That’s why you have to READ CAREFULLY!!! The service wasn’t that great most of the time we found ourselves waiting or looking for the server so she was not very attentive to say she received 20% of the bill. As for the atmosphere, it was designed very nicely at the entrance, however, it doesn’t seem to flow throughout the restaurant. I’m guessing their A/C must have went out, or they don’t have one, because we seen the use of portable fans that didn’t really cool down the restaurant. I was hot before I got the food.

Me and my family had a great time here, the food was very good, the type of food that makes you talk about the food even after you leave. One thing you have to try is the lemon sauce....... It's good on everything.

Google
I'm from Florida and came to New Orleans for the food and by far B Spot has been the best food I've had. I had the lamb with honey garlic sauce. Amazing is all I can say. The grits were great. I never like potatoes but when I finished there wasn't a crumb left. As the Terminator said, I'll be back

Google
A nice lil groove. A fairly small location so its recommended that you call in for reservations. Parking is available but its recommended that you Uber and Lyft. The Oxtail and Grits are amazing and plentiful for the price point and the Crabby Bee was a nice portion size. If you want a nice Brunch Spot with a Cool Vibe this is your spot. 7.5 out of 10. Recommended.

Google
As soon as we walked in, the atmosphere, the music, and our waiter was a vibe. We had the lobster n grits, the oxtail n grits, and the swarming seafood dip. Taste, presentation, and portion size A+. It was Halloween weekend and the Halloween themed drinks were super cute and strong. Located in a neighborhood so street parking, no lot. They got busy quick.

Google
I had so much fun here, there was a Breezy Bowl themed brunch before the concert and they were playing his music the whole time. People really enjoyed themselves it was like a pre game for the concert. Menu options were good, i had too much choice dilemma

Yelp
Let me start with the service! Crazy busy but the wait staff was kind and didn't make us seem rushed. We lucked up because we didn't have to wait too long. Stories have been told about lines around the corner but not this particular day. I was running late and by the time I arrived most of our wait was over. The guy who waited on us was good, he piece milled out flights to the table to keep from over crowding the table. The food, lord just writing about the oxtails and grits make me want to go get oxtails to put over grits! They were fabulous. The place is a real vibe, tasteful music playing, the decor is on point and again the staff adds to the place and doesn't take away like some spots. If you are in town for a visit this is a must stop. Thank me later. Oh and the drinks are worth the $$

Yelp
If you're looking for brunch with a full-on club vibe and ubiquitous grass wall as you enter, The B Spot on Calhoun is the place. Food was tasty with solid portion sizes, but the prices add up quick--every little extra is another $5-10. Drinks? Let's just say the Beyoncé was memorable. The dry ice gimmick made it bubble, but the bartender's heavy pour made it too strong (and I didn't think that was possible). Biggest drawback: the volume. It was so loud my friends and I could barely hear each other. Overall, if brunch + party energy is your thing, this spot delivers. For me, though, it's a one-time experience, not a regular go-to.

Yelp
I came here a while back on a Saturday afternoon. We were the only patrons in the restaurant- likely because it was about an hour before closing time before we arrived. I wish we'd arrived early because though the service was kind- we still felt very rushed. I had a pretty mocktail and my friends had regular cocktails. We ordered an appetizer and I had the catfish and grits for my entree. It was really tasty and the serving size was huge. The decor is trendy and bright with cute Bee themed motifs and such. Overall, my experience was dampened by the closing time activities of the staff but I would return at an earlier hour.

Yelp
The food was delicious and I would say for the prices; the portion sizes were great! With the shrimp and grits it would have been nice to have a few more shrimp. The salmon bites were so delicious; flaked in your mouth! The dip was also tasty! We had a great waiter who was friendly! The ambiance of the restaurant is really cute with the Bee theme. They should use more AC bc it was pretty hot after a while. Wait time wasn't bad but we also didn't go on the weekend. They should definitely consider talking reservations.

Yelp
B Spot in New Orleans has a lot of potential, but there are definitely some areas that need attention. The decor is super cute and well thought-out, which made for a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food was just okay--nothing special. The mimosas were served warm (not ideal), but at least they were pretty. Service was underwhelming, and the coffee tasted like instant, which is disappointing for a sit-down restaurant. Plates were chipped, and while the silverware came in a cute paper bag, it felt a little too casual for the experience they're trying to offer. Also, be aware that you're only allowed 90 minutes at your table, and a 20% gratuity is automatically added--even if the service doesn't quite earn it. Parking is a hassle, so plan ahead. Overall, it's a mixed bag--there's good and bad--but with some improvements, B Spot could really shine. I'm rooting for them to tighten things up and become great!

Yelp
Came here around lunch time. We started off with some appetizers. The spinach dip was lukewarm. It could have been a little hotter. The salmon bites were pretty good. Let's get into the entrees. I had the red snapper which was pretty good. The water comes in very small glasses which causes the waiter to make frequent trips to your tables. It's very small and the parking is hit or miss.

Yelp
A big shoutout to the chef for the delicious food! Every dish was incredible . The B-Urger was huge, flavorful, and juicy. You absolutely have to try the truffle fries; they may be simple, but they're packed with flavor. We devoured the spinach dip with fresh tortilla chips, & the Big Buzz Chicken wingz were perfectly crispy. The shrimp & grits were also filling and hit the spot. I highly recommend the Mimosa flight, which is served on a cute tower. We also enjoyed the Lemon Drop flight, which was vibrant and tasty! Our server kindly treated us to a shot on the house, which was a nice surprise. The atmosphere was lively, featuring talented live music from a saxophonist. The ambiance was vibrant with good vibes all around. It was packed both inside & outside, which speaks volumes about the place!

Yelp
The vibe alone has this place as a top brunch spot. Very cute place to dress up and take pictures with the girls for brunch. From the minute you sit down at the table your time starts. You have a time limit. The waitress pops up at the table and tells you everyone has to order at the same time. They dont give you much time to look over the menu. (Please look over it a head of time) Literally the only down fall. Food came out really fast and hot. We ordered the shrimp and grits, gumbo, spinach dip and breakfast sandwich. Everything was amazing cant wait to go back

Yelp
Went in with a group of five and didn't have to wait. The service was quick and polite and all of our food came out hot and delicious as always. It's super cute in there with all the different bee themed and yellow throughout the restaurant if you uptown definitely put this on your list

Yelp
Visiting NOLA for Essence Festival Weekend, and this spot came highly recommended by my frat brother who's local--and even by celebrity Kandi! I kept it simple with the chicken and waffles, and let me tell you, they were top tier. I also had the Mimosa Tower, which came with four different flavors--each one better than the last. It was the perfect vibe for some quality bonding time with my two line brothers. Great food, great company--I'll definitely be back!"

Yelp
My experience, my time, my food, my morning, my afternoon was well spent!!!! This is not a place to look over the food, the service, the vibe was amazing I've been to New Orleans over 5 times over 10years and this was easily one of the best places I've been to. It's black owned off off Bourbon st where the real locals eat. Tiffany was on drinks & she did not disappoint! I will be back and I'm recommending everyone go with a reservation of course because everyone knows about Beeeeee spot!!

Yelp
First off, I would like to say that the food and service at B Spot were 5 stars. We had a great server. We came on a Saturday around 11-12 o'clock and were told that we would have a wait of 30 minutes, so we went right next door to Petit Rouge Coffee Shop. Amazing service and coffee, by the way! Thankfully, a few tables emptied out at B Spot, and we were able to be seated in about 15 minutes. Our server was polite and helpful with the explanation of menu items. Kudos to him! We ordered the spinach dip for our appetizer, and I ordered the shrimp and grits while my wife ordered the fish and grits. We received our appetizers and entrées extremely quickly. Everything was hot and flavorful. I definitely recommend the shrimp and grits! My only two criticisms were the prices of the food and the automatic 20% gratuity that is applied to every check for parties of more than one. We paid $25 for each of our entrées and $14 for our appetizer. The price point at B Spot hovers in the expensive range, and that, along with the automatic gratuity, which wasn't explained to us, left a bad taste in our mouths. But again, the food was great, the portion size was good, and the service was excellent. I would really just like to see food prices not tip into the fine dining arena when the establishment is not a fine dining restaurant. The total for our food, with automatic gratuity and only drinking water, was $82.50. We will not be returning to B Spot again as we just cannot see ourselves paying that amount for brunch without even ordering alcoholic drinks.

Yelp
We found out about B Spot through tik tok reels and had to check them out for brunch. B Spot did not disappoint!!! The music and vibes were great. Every table was packed so that's always a good sign when trying out a spot. The establishment is cute and although not as large as you expect, the wait time was not terribly long. We only waited half a hour for a table of 4. I ordered the grandma's gumbo, which came with a side of fried fish & grilled cheese . The gumbo was very flavorful & seasoned well. The crab in the gumbo definitely was on point . The fried fish was crispy and fresh how I like it & the grill cheese complimented the gumbo. I've never had this combination but so glad I tried it. My husband ordered the Deep fried lamb chops which came with breakfast potatoes and scrambled eggs. The fried lamb chops were delicious!! I would definitely reccomend both brunch dishes. Our waitress was super friendly and our service was great .

Yelp
The food was so good! The lemonade wings were outstanding! The oxtails and grits were the truth! The service was on point, our server was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. The decor was very on brand, had lots of picture worthy area. Cool swing too.
google avatar

Yelp
So cute! Food was great. Drinks looked fun! Service was good. Music was TOO LOUD! It was hard to hear the server and have a conversation across the table. We were there for brunch so loud music seemed a little excessive.

Yelp
Review Title: Bug in My Mimosa & Poor Response from Taylor I had a really disappointing experience here. The service was slow and inattentive from the start--it took forever to get drinks, and our server barely checked in on us. The real issue, though, was when I discovered a bug in my mimosa. I showed it to the waitress, expecting at the very least an apology and a comped drink. Instead, she told me they "couldn't comp it, only remake it"--as if I should just be fine with another round from the same bar that let a bug end up in my glass in the first place. No real apology, no concern about the hygiene issue, and no effort to make things right. I left feeling ignored and honestly grossed out. Between the bad service and the health concern, I won't be coming back--and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone until they take both cleanliness and customer service seriously.

Yelp
Let's get the critiques out the way . The hostess misled us about seating . She over-promised a large party table and didn't deliver. Oh well, that's her. Let's get to the positive . The food is bomb! Delicious. Fresh. Flavored. Seasoned. Blessed. I took it light and ordered the Not Arugula salad because I'm eating heavier later, but I tasted the grits and catfish. If you order this, add crab meat and ask for your feta cheese separately. They are quite generous with it. You MUST get both catfish and grits. Everyone raved about the fried shrimp, too. I am coming back.
google avatar

Yelp
The food and ambiance is on point! The service was attentive from as soon as we walked in! Shoutout to the best server, Leroy! He took great care of us. I highly recommend the B-Spot or Brunch Burger! It is a special blend of ground beef and hot sausage. Delicious!
google avatar

Anitra T.

Yelp
This place is definitely a vibe! We wanted some brunch and headed in. Lucky for us we went earlier in the day and were able to miss the brunch crew. I had the burger which was seasoned to perfection. Juicy and packed with immense flavor! The only thing I couldn't understand is why the brunch burger included fries, but the b spot burger didn't. Especially considering they were priced the same. I also had a crab hash...wow! It was the appetizer I never knew I needed. The bartenders were friendly, the food came out quickly, and there was live entertainment. I would definitely come back when in NOLA.
google avatar

Yelp
Run don't walk to eat brunch here. Literally run. Try to arrive around 10:30am to be seated at noon on a Friday. I've tried a couple other times to eat here and wait times were over 2 hours and 45 minutes. Both times were on a Sunday however. The food is immaculately prepared and delicious. The service just as top notch. Our party of 6 was well looked after. I enjoyed the Grandma gumbo ($28) which included a bowl of delicious seafood gumbo, a grilled cheese sandwich, and a piece of fried catfish. Out table also shared the seafood dip, salmon bites, and the truffle fries. Everything was literally perfect. The drinks were cute and the online menu was descriptive and unique. Plan to come here when you have some free time on your hands. The dj was spinning tunes but it was quiet enough to have conversation and not have to scream. I will definitely be back. There's not too many places that I'd give 5 stars that auto include 20% gratuity and BSpot earned that and more. Well done.

Yelp
The Rave on tick tock in New Orleans. Bspot is actually THEE Spot. The food is amazingly good. if i could I would 6 star this place. i went on an off peak time and it was still a full restaurant. They should have opened in a larger spot. Move some of those tasteless chain restaurants out the way This is truly the cooking New Orleans is famous for because the dishes are creatively prepared. They served Red Snapper over grits or rice. as you can see from pics the whole fish was crispy and fresh and the sauce was wonderful. My dish was catfish with a crab hash, over potatoes with an amazing sauce. I wanted to regret not getting the Red Snapper as I watched my crew devour their dish. But once i tasted my dish i was dancing in my seat And i can't end without talking about the service. Everyone was so professional and lively. They serve drinks in racks, so much fun to watch one person drink a tito tree. see my photo

Yelp
Nice spot away from Downtown! If you are looking for a quiet quaint breakfast spot, this isn't it. Loud R & B music blasts from the speakers as you eat soul food. Fish and grits were good! Most breakfast items are a la cart. The brunch burger is huge!! Would come again but with my friends or sister instead of with the family (kids)

Yelp
Issa a Vibe! Okay so, I pulled up let me friend out and drove right to the next block to park. I did this, just in case it would've taken a while for me to find parking. When I walked back and go inside, he said, "They wouldn't seat me without y'all!" I understand why restaurants do this;however, I'm. I'm not a fan. This spot is quaint, but I'll definitely be back. My friends and I all ordered the same thing, an egg over easy/hard over friend fish/chicken with potatoes and cheese sauce... Baby it was sooooooo yummy. We also shared an appetizer. It was delicious too. Everyone was super friendly and hopefully. Erin..... you tocked my girl.

Jonquea W.

Yelp
I gave it a 1 star because you have too, however the entire experience was horrible. The owner had a nasty attitude and was rude after bringing me an oxtail plate full of fat! I wanted to swap out my oxtails for catfish her immediate response was " we don't take nothing off". Mind you I never ate the food. She then comes back over after me getting her attention and says " I can bring you more oxtails" I said ok, that was a bowl of fat! An immediate no for me. She brings the check and then three shots of liquor, because you knew she was wrong. It's safe to say I left there and ended up at Chic fila! Do not support this woman's busines.

Yelp
The first place we were considering had too long of a wait so we ventured over to the B Spot we walked in and were seated immediately....if you dont want to read my long review...here is what you need to know...food GOODT comes out hot not warm HAWT! Vibe lively...host (didn't catch her name) attentive, staff upbeat! They sung happy birthday to my grandson he just turned 6. Because I didn't check the reviews before going, I hopped on Yelp. To my surprise the review left 3 days ago was so on point... The negative for me...20% automatic charge that wasn't disclosed and wasn't on the backside of the QR menu. The neg/pos for me...the music was a bit too loud for me but it was upbeat and if the right song came on you were moving in your seat OR you could go dance behind where I was seated. It was a nice size crowd my entire visit. Pricey but the food was worth it, I wouldn't take kids though, this is a date or girlz/boyz hangout spot. The positive...catfish and grits THEE BEST Ive ever had! The oxtail and grits too spicy for me, the gravy was spectacular! Salmon bites something I didn't know I needed (words stole from another review), my grandson had the chicken and waffles and he said it was good .

Yelp
I went here yesterday for brunch. Overall I really enjoyed the vibe and the food was delicious. I also enjoyed the drinks I tried. The place is small and seems to be pretty popular so I probably won't return on the weekend but despite how busy they were the staff were attentive and food came out in a reasonable amount of time. I had the honey garlic wings. Delicious The seafood dip was an off the menu special. Shrimp, crawfish and crab dip served with tortilla chips. Really good. I also tried the Apian salmon bites. Those were really good. I believe the sauce on the salmon bites were the same (or very similar) as the honey garlic wing sauce and no complaints from me because the sauce is really good. For my entree, I had the fried lobster with grits. That was an off the menu special and was most definitely the best grits I've ever had in a restaurant. The seafood sauce was good. After having appetizers and drinks, I was pretty stuffed but I kept eating because it was just that good. I'll definitely be back (during the week)!
google avatar

Teressa B.

Yelp
The food is amazing . I appreciated the lemonade wings above all . I think I could eat them every day . I would have loved if the seated swings were accessible on the day we went. Drinks were ok . I would give drinks a 3. The mimosa flight could have been a bit more complex in flavor . Give me passion fruit, mango or something exotic . Basic flavors of orange and pineapple were not appealing to me. The food took awhile but it was worth the wait. The waitress was great as she prepared us for the wait in advance. Food served very hot. Music cool. I loved the photo wall. Staff very warm and friendly a must try . It's a vibe.

Yelp
We visited BSpot during the Essence Festival, which meant extremely long waits--basically two hours. My only complaints about the wait were that nobody came out to offer water or inform us that we needed to check in first, as I thought there was an actual line to get in since it was my first time there. Those are my only gripes. Overall I was happy to see everyone supporting black owned business! Even though they closed at 3, if you were on the waiting list before then, you were still served. Surprisingly, by the time we were served, they were only out of one food item. Super proud of them for that! The decor was also pretty nice! Our server, Rocky, was amazing! I think she knew we'd been waiting forever and made it worth the wait. She was extremely friendly and got straight to business. The special that day was redfish and grits, which was very good, and the drinks were great! Rocky made sure we left feeling great. I'll definitely be back on a regular weekend!

Yelp
BSpot Nola is a great brunch spot! We were greeted when we entered and only waited a few minutes before being seated. The menu had great brunch and drink options. The "Bee" aesthetic and theme of the restaurant was neat. They even had shot o'clock while we were dining. This is a great spot to visit in Nola. I didn't give it five stars because the parking is bad. We parked about 3 blocks away in the neighborhood. Uber to the restaurant if you can.

Yelp
The ambiance is there and I enjoyed the music. The attentive service was also great but the food lacks the New Orleans authenticity. The spinach dip is very thick and lukewarm at first bite. There was Parmesan cheese sprinkled all over the chips and made a complete mess. The dip was cold after 3 min of sitting. For such hardy food on the menu the water glasses are very small and tastes off. The chicken sandwich was underwhelming. It was very big and fried harder than I like with a dead flower on the plate. The wings have arugula spread under them which could've been used as a small salad... just a waste of greens honestly. The fries are clearly frozen then fried. We won't be back. Just wanted to experience a fellow black owned restaurant.

Yelp
This spot if poppin!!!!! I'm from Los Angeles and I can hear to visit a friend. We decided on the B spot on a whim. The Bspot is poppin. The ambiance is very cute and vibrant. Music .... Perfect ( my bestie and I were twerking up a storm lol) The service was great! I did get my servers name but she was so sweet. We were going to get regular buffalo wings and she convinced us to get a honey garlic flavor that they make in house... " you can get buffalo anywhere"...... facts sis!!!! We tried the honey garlic.... DELICIOUS!!!! She was not joking!! Everything was just great. All and all it was a fabulous time... will definitely go back next time I'm in town from Los Angeles!!

Great atmosphere and food was incredibly fast too. Music was playing the whole time. Great place for parties and events as well.

Yelp
10/10! Upon sitting down, Nae provided great service and continued to do so throughout the dining experience. The restaurant definitely kept on themewith it's design. The yellow chairs and black walls were a nice touch. The food came out fast and hot! The shrimp and grits were phenomenal and the Oxtails and Grits just the same! The Mimosa Tower was reasonably priced at $25 and I liked the liquid nitrogen presentation. This was my best dining experience during this visit to New Orleans!

Yelp
I first came here a year ago and have been back a few times since my initial visit. Nothing in my first review has changed! It's still the best brunch spot in the city (to me). On my most recent visit, my family and I came after my graduation, and everyone gave the place a 10/10; this is noteworthy because they are very particular about food!

Yelp
Let me preface what I am about to say as that I want this to read as a constructive criticism review. For this restaurant to have been in business for over a year now, I expected better. I chose to attend brunch here for my birthday and learning that it was black owned I was very excited. Upon arriving we weren't greeted right away but it was busy and so I had no problem waiting (patiently). We opted to take selfies in front of the cute garden wall they have, but we were quickly grossed out to see there was human hair stuck to the decor; that was red flag number one. When we finally did get seated, we weren't brought any cutlery and it took forever for someone to come and take our initial order. That was issue number two. Next, we ordered the mimosa flight and I was highly disappointed as the champagne and juice were both room temperature. WDTDTA? That was issue number three, all within 20 minutes of being there. My friends and I had to put ice cubes into our champagne flutes. I was not pleased because a good mimosa is my jam! We tried to talk while we waited for our food, but the music was so loud. Y'all this was a Friday afternoon, why is the music turned up to club levels? We ordered the appetizer wings and they were tasty! Fried hard and really flavorful. Also, my shrimp and grits meal was yummy too. I enjoyed it immensely. When it was time to go it took longer than I would have liked to get our check and honestly seeing that 20% tip was included in the price, (there was only 3 of us), I knew I wouldn't be back. The service was subpar at best. If you want to support this business, I suggest you order out and make your mimosas at home.

Yelp
It was my first time coming to this location and with it being the day of the Beyoncé concert, it was the perfect vibe! We got there as soon as it opened due to the their Beyoncé promo and their location before small! Please not, there are no split checks. You can only use 2 cards and 20% gratuity is already added to the check. The food was good. I got the Krabby Bee and it was AMAZING! The prices are fair for the amount of food on the plate! There's a $25 mimosa flight that's available but you're better off getting cocktail opposed to splitting it with other people. The juices that came with the flight weren't good.

Yelp
If you go you must be there by at least 8am to be seated by 1pm. Wait time went from 50 minutes to 2 hours (the only reason we waited is because we felt all the other brunch spots would be closing soon). I also don't think an establishment this small should be seating multiple parties of 10 at the same time. I feel like we had to wait so long because it seemed like they were hosting family reunions in there. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. Music was great even though we had to scream at each other to talk because of how loud it was. Everyone loved their food except those of us who ordered the oxtail grits. Flavorless and fatty. Absolutely no flavor whatsoever. I'd go again. But I'll make to be there by at least 10am and not order the oxtail grits.

Yelp
What an amazing experience... the vibe at this place has put me in the zone of celebration. The bartender that we spoke to name, Chaz provided extremely wonderful customer service. The food was super amazing and fresh. Celebrating my birthday here was a joyful moment.

Yelp
For starters , the location is not the best for parking purposes however the restaurant does provide a very small parking lot (which is always full). The staff is nice and the food portions are great . My sister and I ordered the lamb chops which we had to send back because I kid you not, we were chewing for days . We couldn't even cut it with the knife ! Thankfully when they brought us a new plate , it was delicious ! It did take some time for all of us to be served (we were a party of 4) food and drink. My nieces got the catfish and my daughter got the oxtails which they both enjoyed . The ambiance is okay, the restaurant is very small and is decorated nice but due to the size , it's gets very loud in there because of the people and music playing . I would go there again but definitely order something else .

Yelp
When we arrived we were told there was a 45 minute wait so we knew to pack our patience. Much to our surprise we only waited about 20 minutes. The ambiance is cool with all of the "Bee" features. The music was a vibe with a live saxophonist, though a bit loud so it's hard to have a conversation. It was extremely packed which equated to HOT! When you walk towards the back of the restaurant where the restrooms were, it was nice and cold. Once seated we were informed to use the QR code to pull up the menu. We ordered the salmon bites for starters. I had the lamb chops with the honey garlic sauce and my partner had the oxtails and grits. Considering how packed they were, the food was extremely hot when it was brought out and it was brought out very quickly. It was all very good! Side Note: Almost everything is fried (lamb, lobster,etc.). The oxtails were smothered. The lamb was a little "gamy" but they were good. Also, the sauce saturated the plate which seems like a waste of product plus I wanted to eat my arugula but it was too saucy. My partner also ordered the honeycomb margarita. It wasn't bad.....a bit too sweet for my taste but it was ok. The service was decent considering how busy it was. The food came out fast, the servers were attentive, though it would have been nice to get more attention, particularly with refreshing water and napkins and basic things we asked for that should have been quick to get such as ice, a to go box, and water. It would have been great to have another bathroom option for such a busy spot where a large percentage of the clientele seems to be Black women. There was only one restroom which was clean, and smelled nice, fully stocked with must haves and nice to haves. The floor was a bit sticky but otherwise decent. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. There's an automatic 20% gratuity regardless of size of party which is why I feel like the service should always be on point! I'm sure I'd come back but I may try a less busy time.

Yelp
For starters, I received absolutely amazing customer service here. The hostess and server were very pleasant. I took off two stars for the food and the pricing. The gumbo was not my favorite (if you're a New Orleans native you'll understand). I don't know why the gumbo comes with a grilled cheese... but the fried fish was delicious. My mother had the lobster grits and she enjoyed it as well. The food comes out PIPING HOT ! You can tell everything is made fresh to order. The music is loud , the drinks are flowing, you can tell people come here to have a good time. In my opinion the food and drinks are overpriced because this place is considered "tiktok famous".

Yelp
I came to Bspot on a Monday after a long drinking weekend for brunch. I enjoyed every single bite my sister and I had several bites. We tried to eat several items on the menu since we are not from Nola. We enjoyed the Salmon bites the Bee-licoious bacon the Oxtail and grits and A Ceasar salad with blackened catfish and washed it down with the mimosa flight. Every single bite was delish. Please support this Black owned business you won't regret it

Yelp
The amazing atmosphere was the first thing that stuck out as soon as we walked in. Very quaint and had a "home-like" feel to it. Everybody there was extremely nice and very gracious. The staff was wonderful as we celebrated my Mother-in-law's "Leap Year Birthday". The menu was well thought out and very creative. The food was delicious! I had the Bad chick 'n waffle (the chicken was delectable, and had a nice honey glaze taste to it; the waffle was fluffy and filling); also the Calhoun crab hash is a must try! We'll definitely come back here on our next visit.

Yelp
The waiter & music was amazing , unfortunately the food was terrible . we ordered the seafood dip which was extremely oily , the potato hash which was old & definitely not freshly cooked , most of the potatoes were dark , mushy & hard to even chew , the shrimp & grits were ok , the shrimp had a fishy smell to it . overall rating 2/10.
